Lovely clean relaxing park
Beautiful small park to walk around and look at the few wood carvings
Beautiful coffee, excellent customer service. Highly recommend. Lovely walk with swans and ducks on the pond
More£9.50 for 2 adults and 1 child to hire a pedal dragon on the pond for 30mins.Our 4yr old really enjoyed it and was given a life jacket before boarding. We paid in cash not sure if they take card. There was x2 dragons and x1 Swan.Had a fab time except there was water in the boat and our feet got soaked for the day. Bring a change of socks.
MoreLove the art deco buildings, nice quiet park easy access
Great park, handy cafe, lovely space for meeting up with people and great for kids to play.
MoreA lovely small lake ,with wildlife and birds , a small park for children at the bottom end ,a nice walk area all the way around, a lovely little cafe with a good selection of teas, coffee and ice cream. Also a selection of hot food .
MoreDidnt go on the pedalos. Walked round the park. Missed the last miniature train that goes round the golf course to the sea front.
MoreLovely set up and even better staff.Kids loved it.Thank you
Pleasant walk around the lake on a summers evening. Everything looking a bit dry this year (hosepipe ban soon? But pleasantly laid out and kept tidy
MoreBeautiful well kept park. The park has a kiddies play area and a very nice café. The café has good staff and caters for a range of delicious food. The park is connected to the wave swimming pool. The park has a really nice lake which is accustomed to various water birds especially swans.I have unfortunately given a three star rating because it appears sewage is being dumped at small brook near the kiddies play area.It has a strong stench when the discharge has taken place.
MoreFar from the tourist hub of Littlehampton this, no cycling, park provides quiet cycle-free enjoyment of park and gardens. Well maintained and loved there is a circular paved route around the lake big enough not to bump in to prams scooters wheelchairs nor children. A nice cafe at the South and paths to housing to the North. The steam train route joins the park further West via the pitch n put should you wish to save feet. This is a secret add-on for any beach walk. Well done to the team keeping it so nice. Pedalo operate in the peak season hire to circumnavigate the island.
MoreClean and relaxing. Nice little cafe and clean public conveniences.
So happy with my visit great Cafe and park walks.
Lovely park for a walk around. Nice little lake and park. Boating not open

MoreGreat place for a walk 🚶♀️Lots to see, birds, ducks, swans and dog walkers, plenty of areas for children to play.Theres a cafe with outdoor and indoor seating and a good green area for picnicks in the summer .The park is off the seafront and theres a good selection of skateboarding areas in the corner of the park near to the seafront.Theres plenty of parking around the park and the sports centre has a large parking area and its just a short walk to the park from there.
MoreGood place for a walk around. Plenty of wildlife on show. Bushes and trees adorn the area. There is a kiddie play area on the northern side. On the south a miniature railway takes passengers from the nearby carpark closer into Littlehampton.
MoreVery good to walk around on a nice sunny day with my dog. Always felt quite safe to let him roam infront off lead. Play area for the kids excellent lots of things to try out. Met nice likewise people just walking and with there dogs.Theres a nice little cafe to stop and have food snd drinks too.
MoreLovely gardens. Nice to walk through and very relaxed atmosphere. Ive lived around here for nearly a decade and never noticed these are here!
MoreReally lovely place, only do a nice was not enough to do in the toddler park, as nd Wood chippings under the play equipment.
MoreSuch a fun day out on the Swan or dinosaur pedalos. Mewsbrook Pond is large but shallow, it feels very safe and peaceful to be pedalling around the island and exploring the water. Really friendly and kind man in charge, he was really friendly and encouraging to my son which I was grateful for. Be careful with opening times, last boat is at 3:30pm not 5pm as shown online.
MoreNice little lake with pedalos. £12 for 2 adults + 2 kids for 30mins. Would not need/want much longer.
MoreLove it just to walk see all flowers etc please never give the birds bread VERY BAD FOR THEM. Cafe food ok depends what you want, i always take a picnic sit on grass and enjoy. Wii ask keep your dogs on a lead
MoreI love this park its nice to walk around the boating pond. Feed the ducks and Swans. Enjoy food and drink at the cafe. The playground has a fence around it and is good for little ones
MoreOnly 3 pedaloes when we were there but that was nice as there was plenty of room on the lake.Cost £3.50 per adult and I think £2 for children. The man in charge was very friendly. Told us to keep away from certain areas so we didnt get caught in wire.Swans and ducks on the lake and surrounded by lovely gardens.
MoreHired a pedalo here for a quick 30 minute ride around the lake with my 4 year old. Was good simple fun.The lake isnt massive but good for a few laps seeing the various birds around.
MoreWe didnt actually hire a boat, we just used the cafe, fed the ducks and the kids played in the park. Absolutely love this place, always so clean and tidy, and one of our favourite places to go with the kids / dogs
MoreGood parking, lovely cafe, buy your coffee and stroll around lake, admiring the gardens, watching ducks and ducklings. Good walk for well behaved dogs.
MoreLovely park will bring our granddaughters in the holidays.
Well maintained and beautiful park with a large lake in the centre, art deco seated shelters from a past era, at various locations around the park, normal wooden bench seating is also available at intervals around the flat tarmac path allowing free access for wheelchair users and slow walkers. Duck feeding points around the lake with bird feed available to buy. Childrens play area with the usual swings and slides. Cafe with outdoor seating and public toilets are close to the new swimming baths off the main sea front, free parking on the access road or pay and display parking everywhere else. Short walk to the stoney beach and ice cream stalls, well worth a visit
MoreLove the park.Nice flat walk around the lake.Cafe open - nice to sit outside.
Took a walk around the lake for the 1st time paths are clean and tidy the whole area is very well looked after.I could smell the bleach/disinfectant as I walked past the art Deco shelters.
MoreMewsbrook Park has lots of space for grandchildren to let off steamThe play equipment is well maintained. Picnic tables are a nice touch. The steam train is running again!
MoreAlways a lovely place to spend time
Lovely walk around the lake, lots of birds and ducks to see. Plenty of shelters and seats. Childrens play park, coffee/ice cream shop
MoreVery new place. Shops around carpark. Great place to rest on the lakes sides.
Gorgeous park, lake with path for walking, the kids love to scoot around and feed the ducks. Well designed playpark. Excellent cafe. Easy parking.
MoreNot a huge area to pedalo on and quite expensive I felt as well. It is contained however and isn’t an overly deep pond so fairly safe for children or those not keen on water. It’s a busy area with picnic benches around, takeaway fish and chips close by and next to the sea wall for the harbour entrance.
MoreGreat location with the beach very close by. Green space with boating lake, also home to a range of wild fowl. Plenty of shelters and seating. Childrens playground, also has a station for the Littlehampton miniature railway with the other stop being in Norfolk Gardens.Public toilets.Mewsbrook Cafe is open all year round selling hot meals, coffee, snacks and ice creams. Indoor and outdoor seating. Some free parking, ample pay parking close by.
MoreGreat place for all the family. Very nicely kept flower beds, the lake has pedalos for all. Really nice cafe on site, and a playground for the children. Theres also a small train to the tennis and crazy golf. 2 minutes walk from the sea front. Highly recommended.
MoreIf its just a quick hour or so that you wish to kill, or a full day, then visit Mewsbrook Park & the Pedalo hire shack. Each hire session is 30 mins long & with the lake being quite large, that time goes very quickly. The chap that runs the pedalo hire is so polite friendly & helpful - not to mention chatty - youll be hard pushed to drag yourself away after a half hour session. In terms of value, its not bad either. It costs just £2.50 for a child & £3.50 for an adult. My family love coming to the park & the pedalo shack especially as there is a cafe (very good& miniature railway in the park too.An easy 10/10 score.
MorePedalos on the lake are great, nice way to slow down. Took the baby and two small boys, they have life jackets for kids but I was glad I had the baby in the carrier. The lake was a bit smelly in places but it didnt stop us enjoying it. Great ice creams afterwards, including dairy free, and a nice place to sit in the shade for a picnic lunch.
MoreBeautiful park with boating / duck lake in Littlehampton. Art Deco rain shelters. Well kept by volunteers. Mini railway. Good cafe. Planted well. Very good childrens play area at far end of park away from the scenic area.
MoreLovely place to visit with kids. Huge park suitable for all ages, pedalo hire and train.
MoreLoved this place great outdoor eatery duck pond and safe play area gardens really pretty
