Best cuban food in town.

Awesome food and good service.

Waited a very long time for our food almost like they forgot about us and once the food finally arrived it was disappointing. The guayaba sauce tasted like perfume, the alcapurrias were soggy, and the rice had little flavor. Overall would not return.

I was served the food cold. I was afraid to complain. The server was with and attitude. Wont go again . I was a fan of this restaurant not any more. There are better local places.

What I really liked about the place is how well the staff treats you, they make you feel welcome. They know the menu extremely well. So far everything our family tried was right on point. Great selection of food and drinks. If in doubt, ask the staff and they will suggest something great. The food portion is excellent, the taste is great, not salty nor bland, it was just right. The place was clean, the restrooms were clean, the staff was very attentive.The prices were reasonable and the food is worth every penny.My family will be returning to this restaurant.

Not bad at all.Went in with a few family members after a long day.I had the beef steak with eggs and mofongo. I terribly enjoyed it, even if it needed an extra bit of salt.I liked how the waitress was constantly making sure we were having a good time. Thats good service.After dinner, we had dessert. I had the chocolate mousse, and I admittedly enjoyed it.Honestly, worth it.

I was with my family celebrating my aunts birthday . I had squid with rice in ink, with fish and shrimps and it was delicious. We had a jug of Sangria with the food and it was very good. The service was great. They have a large menu to choose from and a variety of wines to select. I recommend it.Today, July 1, 2022, I was with my wife, my daughter, my father-in-law and my nephew. We had for appetizers mini Alcapurrias and Fish Ceviche which was delicious. I had Shredded Beef with Mamposteao Rice and Sweet Plantains. It was very good. The rest had different plates and they all enjoyed it too. The associates and service was great. I recommend it again.Wednesday, July 13, 2022, I was with my father-in-law. We had for appetizers mini Fried Codfish Fritters (Bacalaitos Fritosand Octopus Salad (Ensalada de Pulpoboy they were delicious. The octopus salad was one of the best I have eaten in a very long time . Our main dish was Metropol Fried Rice that was delicious too. The associates and service was great once again. I still recommend it

They have a problem in the Hato Rey branch. Desserts. Never taste the same. Different people making them is a problem. Cheese flan sometimes is perfect and others is mix with vanilla. Cheese flan does not need vanilla!!!! If you can maintain consistency with the food, do the same with desserts!

The food was good but that’s because I ordered a simple meal that would be difficult to go wrong because everything on the menu was so expensive. Good place if you want to celebrate something but not to eat daily.

My opinion, dont order the cheese balls and the plantains for apps. They were horrible. Greasy. I am so surprised at the positive ratings here. I had the fish tacos, which were good, they didnt have any sides. It was grouper, however it was fried. Hubby had ribs, "just ok" was his answer. My sister (the day beforehas a Caesar salad, warned me not to have it. (Not sure why, she said it wasnt that good). The waiter was good. Somewhat attentive. The atmosphere was meh. But I would take it atmosphere for great food!

Great food. Ample parking. Slow service even though it was half empty.

To long for the food to be served. Bartender was in another activity in the restaurant and no one to prepare mix drinks.

You need to wear a mask ONLY to walk through the entrance threshold but everyone removes thier mask once inside. The waiter walked by my table several times ignoring me until I asked him who was my waiter and then he responded that he was, then proceeded to ask for my order... the food was good was as expected, but when I asked for oil and vinegar for my salad, he went over to another occupied table took the oil and vinegar from them and put it on my table without wiping the bottles... where is the COVID awareness? Definitely not at this restaurant.

Normally, it is a great place; sadly, the "gallinitas rellenas" were overcooked. Other than that, everything else was good .

Well well well, maybe the hour we arrive & the date wasnt the best. The food "Polo" (Pollo,gallina was sour, the menu poor. The waitress attention excelente.

Tasty Cuban Food at a reasonable price.

Food was good, but dont ask for an "old-fashioned", they say they can make it for you but it was pretty bad try, worst old-fashioned I have ever tasted 😂.

Food is mostly good but not great. Several dishes were unavailable. Service is okay but somewhat slow and the servers will let you know why. They are doing more than they can handle because some employees are not showing up as they prefer to collect unemployment benefits. I think the owners should limit tables to those that servers can handle. Im sorry that servers are overworked but I rather get good service without hearing the stories about why thats not the case.

Excellent food, excellent customer service

Terrible. It took one hour to receive a cold lunch that was incomplete. Cheese balls were done in old fried oil without the guava sauce. Quick to charge but incomplete and low quality food. Very deteriorated. Used to be one of my favorites.

My experience goes per on the phone food ordered, so far was great service and very organized process, fast service, and we can pay outside cash or CC wish is a plus when you are on tight schedule, location is perfect specially if you are doing business near by specially at isla grande airport where we landed in a private airplane for business, employee who took care of me was Mrs.Stephanie nice looking blond young girl, very helpful, friendly and professional good communication skills deserve 5 ***** review, my only minor issue was little over cooked food, but hey I ate it keep up the good work I definitely will come back and recommend this place to others

Great food, cooked to perfection. Awesome flavors. I had a perfect Puerto Rican meal. I ordered the "Mofongo con churrasco en salsa criolla* and it was too die for. The "Mofongo and the churrasco" were great but the sauce was delicious. The "flan de queso" was really creamy and good. The customer service was also good.

My partner and I had a very pleasant dining experience at Metropol. We loved the family-styled dining atmosphere and how clean the interior looked.This was a good place to get away from all the tourist-frequented spots and try something different with mostly locals.The menu had so many options but we finally settled on the metropol fried rice and the cornish hen. It was the perfect amount of food for us and we devoured it in seconds.

Great food and great service! Our server was bilingual which was very helpful, since some of the group only spoke English. Our server also helped us understand the menu options and choose options. The good was delicious, we were happy with our orders. The ropa vieja is amazing, my favorite item!

Best place to get local food on the island. Although the place is not necessarily expensive, its also not an affordable place if on a budget, even though they do offer daily specials. At any rate the quality of the food and service is top notch and its always a safe bet to go whenever youre in the mood for for the type of food they offer.They have a amazing selection of drinks, appetizers, main entrees and desserts for you to mix and match no matter the day of the week you go. They also serve you a lot, and I mean a lot of food. You get your moneys worth in both quality and quantity which not a lot of places are able to offer.5/5 Can recommend wholeheartedly, service and food is top notch, here and on al the other ones in the island.

Got the shrimp mofungo w garlic sauce! It was good but I regret getting it with garlic sauce bc the house garlic bread given to you has soooo much garlic already (its soooo good), so this was a little bit over a garlic overload for meNext time I have to try to creole sauce!I was told not to drink tap water in PR so I ordered this with bottled water. Came out to 25.00 w tax only.They had a lot of lunch specials worth looking at and definitely a big enough place to accommodate a large party!Service was prompt and fantastic! Will be back during my stay here in PR!

Had not visited this Restaurant in more than ten years!!!! Still serves a very big amount of food and the service was very attentive, even though this was a High School reunion and we were quite big as a group!!!

Wonderful local food and very attentive staff. The ceviche in the plantain cups was delicious!
