I was pleasantly surprised by this "Gem" friendly staff and a hands on owner. Great cocktails, great food. Highly recommend the man of all seasons cocktail if you like whiskey but are looking for a little extra!

My wife and I visited this evening after a couple of years due to Covid. The waitress, Valerie, was friendly, attentive and kind. I ordered the crusted salmon, which was one of the best salmon dishes that I had ever had…and I order a lot of salmon. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the scallop risotto. The desserts were fancy and delicious! We will be back and will recommend Meridian to our friends.

Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful service, smaller simple menu that had an option for whatever you may like. It seems to be the place where they might rotate the menu options and I think that adds to the charm and quality food they serve! They had Mocktails which you dont see everywhere. We plan on going back. 10/10 would recommend!

Without a doubt our favorite restaurant in the area. Both food and drinks are fantastic!

We came in to celebrate our daughters birthday. The food (from oysters to pb&j dessertwas delicious. And the singing was great too!!!!

Great staff who are really friendly. Great lamb tacos. If you are non alcoholic they have great beer for you. The poke was great but I didn’t get a photo of it.

Everything I ate here was SO good! The green bean appetizer was my absolute favorite. The sirloin was tasty, and it seems they rotate what sides are offered with that. I was disappointed that the blueberry lemon tart had sold out before we were ready for dessert. So I came back the next day to get takeout for just a tart and second order of green beans. It was a lovely dinner, and several of those traveling with me said the tart was one of their favorite things to eat on our whole trip. Very, very good! I am not surprised that we heard several recommendations for this place as we walked around town. :-)

Very very surprised this place has so many great reviews. The drinks were awful with a lackluster variety of liquor. A tiny menu with zero vegetarian options… not even a salad? The oysters came out warm with no ice underneath, mussels were overcooked and had zero flavor. My fiancé’s appetizer was flavorless as well, she did however, enjoy the pork chop. The service was great, but we will not be recommending this place on the overpriced plain food alone.

Still thinking about our meal 2 months later. We sat at the live edge "couches" on the left hand side. Ended up liking this better than a table.

This restaurant deserves 10 stars. In a quaint town in Maine you will find a trully unique culinary experience. We had to drive for about 40 minutes to get here but it was well worth the drive. Each dish dish feels very thought through. Locally sourced and unique tastes. The chef is a true artist. My husband started with an appetizer of fried clams, his entree was steak and Fritz with waygue beef and my entree was scallops over risotto. We topped this cullinary adventure off with a piece of chocolate beet cake.While I did take a picture of the menu we were informed that it changes with the availability of the ingredients since everything is bought fresh.The service was wonderful, you can always tell when people enjoy their jobs. They are friendly and informative. We are planning in making this our "go-to" spot.

Meridian’s is absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere, great food, and a super friendly and welcoming staff. I highly recommend this location if you have not yet tried it (or even if you have, go back, haha).

Charming restraunt on a Maine adorable main street. Scallop Risotto and Waygu Ribeye were excellent. Great beer and cocktail selection. Service was cheerful and outstanding.

Best dining experience in the Waterville area! Fantastic every time we’ve been! Excellent food, drink, and staff. We felt like family the first time we went and have been regulars ever since. The menu changes often, and the chef JB and kitchen crew do an amazing job every time. The servers and owner are fun and provide a welcoming atmosphere that bring us back time after time. Great cocktail selection and variety of liquors. Excellent beer list and the taps change enough to provide nice variety.

If you for some reason end up in the area, this is the place to visit. 100%, this is where you need to go. One of the owners (davidgreeted us at the door and was awesome throughout our time here. The food is all locally sourced and is tasty. Could not recommend this place enough - if youre in the area its worth a visit.

Our entire experience was fantastic! From hostess, to waitstaff, to food and drink! I ordered the Burger with tallow fries and it came cooked to perfection and it is the burger I now will compare all others to! ❤

Absolutely fantastic place to have a great dinner. There dining options in a 30 minute radius are very limited and I was very surprised by how great this place was. Meridians would do well in a highly competitive city restaurant market but its in central Maine. Go here

New Years Eve 5 course dinner was to die for! There were things I never would have ordered but ended up being my favorites. There wasnt anything that I didnt like. Well worth the price. You werent hurried and the courses came out with enough time to digest it so you never felt like you were uncomfortably stuffed. I wanted to sign up for next years already.

100% disgusting. I have never been so disappointed with food and service. My “baked” shrimp had such a strong fishy shrimp taste that I struggled to eat it and it wasn’t baked. My shrimp was boiled. I went safe for the main course and got the burger. It was dry and VERY well done when I asked for medium. It also tasted like it had been dipped in jalapeño juice. The fries were soggy and cold. We were never brought water and was told that it wasn’t available due to the dishes being washed. My burger which I had one bite of was not removed from the bill. I was only given a 30% discount and paid for food I did not even eat. Do not waste your time or money going here. If I could give a place zero stars it would be here.

This place is 100% garbage. The service, the food, everything. My fiancée and I are looking forward to going home and eating toast because we left that restaurant still very hungry. To start, we were offered no water because per the waitress, “they were out of it and had no carafes available”. Then, the mussels came out - I had 4 mussels compared to the 15-20 shells on my dish. Finally our entrees came out after an hour of waiting: my fiancées burger was bone dry, when she asked for medium. Her fries were soggy and cold. And, my ravioli tasted like they came out of the freezer section of a gas station…..and also cold. After criticizing each dish that came out, our server stated that “we got the short end of the stick tonight” - and gave us 30% off - but still kept the burger, the mussels and the $35 gas station ravioli on the bill. I know the prior comments show great service, great food, but I can hardly believe it. I came here because I read the reviews and saw that it was “outstanding”. I wish I saw one review like mine that told the truth and I would have definitely strayed away. Absolute worst dinner experience in my life. 0/5 stars. Without question.

This restaurant is truly a farm to table experience. The food is delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. While a bit expensive ( I had the burger - $16it was the best burger I’ve had in years! Specials vary daily and everything is made fresh . For dessert I shared the pumpkin cheesecake and it was to die for! I’ll be sharing my experience with friends and family too!

The waitress was amazing! I had the ribeye which was very dry and tough. My waitress told the chef my concern and he said that he ohad never had Is that problem. He did not even take the time to look at my steak. All the other meals were excellent.

Meridians in Fairfield, ME deserves twice the amount of stars I am able to give it here. We were at Parents/reunion weekend at Colby College and they were booked to capacity — but gave us the attention as though we were the only ones in the restaurant. The staff was beyond friendly and flexible. The cocktails were fun and creative. The menu was varied, featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients and it was hard to settle on just one entree to choose. Every single thing we all had was amazing. I highly recommend you all visit. I only wish we lived closer.

Stopped here on a whim based on Google reviews. It was incredible! Very friendly staff, exceptional cocktails and food was some of the best we had during our entire Maine trip. I will dream about the crab cakes. You will not be disappointed!

Meridians puts out some of the best food and flavors in Maine. Love the local ingredients and attention to detail with great presentation. I’ve been 3 times now and can’t wait to go back again. Phill Buchstaber the sous chef came out to deliver some delicious appetizers and made us feel at home. Great beer selection too!

Amazing place. Great food and wonderful people. We ate here 5 times over this summer and every meal was exquisite. From the burger to the mussels to the halibut, everything was cooked to perfection. All the drinks are awesome. If the Merman (Meridian Manhattanis on the menu, get it. You wont be disappointed.

I had high hopes for this restaurant but it’s nothing special! It’s expensive glorified hipster pub food. I ordered the burger (because let’s be real it’s hard to screw up a burgerand for some reason they use a bacon paste substitute rather than using real fresh bacon DISGUSTING! I did like the presentation though! However customers shouldn’t have to sacrifice food quality for you presentation. Especially when the menu is super expensive for the area.

Absolutely fantastic service and staff. Everyone there is seriously so nice. And the food! Their normal chef was out and you could barely tell because everything was delicious. It was packed for a Tuesday but we still got fairly quick and hot food, and everything was great. My only regret is that we ate so much we didnt have room for dessert! Will definitely be back.

My brother took me here for my birthday. What a pleasant surprise. From the outside - not sure what to expect, then as soon as you walk in - marvelous chill vibe, relaxing decor, spectacular staff and service. The menu is a perfect blend of options. The wine sampler is fun. The food is absolutely the best!!

A wonderful surprise find in downtown Fairfield! We were in the area scouting places to fly fish and wanted a bite to eat. We had a delicious meal and everything was awesome. Everything! Friendly and attentive service from all of the staff. Would highly recommend and we will be back as the chef driven menu changes often.

We chose to eat locally and we were very happy we did. From the drinks, the appetizers, and the meal even dessert everything was delicious. Our waitress Marsha added to the experience. She was attentive, knowledgeable about everything on the menu and her attitude as well as her personality secured our return to this establishment.

The service was impeccable. As a veteran of the service industry from front to back door I tend to be a bit critical, but our server and the bartender nailed it with just the right amount of engagement and authentic hospitality. Furthermore, all the food my date and I ordered (6 different dishes and 5 cocktailswas lovely, but above all the wings were so damn good we ordered a second round after the first bite. Literally those wings are worth the 40 minute drive by themselves. Its always impressive to see well executed top teir dishes like duck confit, but when you elevate and embellish simple dishes in a remarkable way its a true testament to talent and passion.

Wonderful dining experience! The first words from our excellent server? "We dont want you to rush !" Unique and delicious food choices. Gifted mixologist who came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our cocktails and made me a beautiful and delicious mocktail . Loved that they honor the local farms that they use with the names prominently displayed. Our party of four was very happy with this experience.

Great farm to table restaurant! The drinks, apps, and entrees are all unique and fresh. We had the wings and salt potatoes to start. Followed by steak and a tuna poke bowl! Wonderful service and atmosphere. Highly recommend a dinner here!

Upscale menu, with locally, fresh ingredients! Knowledgeable mixologist, who makes delicious beverages! Friendly staff, who smile, and can engage in conversation! All with a welcoming atmosphere...we will be back...hopefully Monday after the Patriots beat the Eagles...hopefully!

Ever changing menu. So good. Best beer selection in all of the surrounding towns. Definitely try if live in town or are driving through.
