Mercure Wagga Wagga in Wagga Wagga
Description
Large rooms, helpful staff, needed to extend an extra night, the room we were in was booked so the staff made sure the room we would be on the same floor which made relocating very easy. They had the cleaning staff clean the new room first so we could quickly move over and not loose a day
MoreMain room is a nice size. Shower room is to little. toilet sits to close to shower hitting the glass with your arm when seated. It would be impossible for a larger person to be comfortable. And the toilet roll sits on the wall behind you creating a neck pain.Corners are rotting needs attention. This could of been an easy fix if the room had of been built 3inches longer.
MoreRoom clean & no bad smell. Shower was hot & great pressure. Microwave was very good. Stove worked really well. Bed was too soft. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good location. Free parking.
MoreWe paid top dollar. This place is tired, and in need of an upgrade. Front staff less than helpful on all accounts. We booked ahead, while on the road. But when we arrived, at 7pm, was told restaurant booked out. When asked where is good place to eat in town, told, anywhere....The beds are comfy, the towels are big, and you can open a window. Thats the good bits. Bad side. Room old, water leakage in kitchen, mold in bathroom.etc, Would not stay here again.
MoreGreat location. Restaurant and bar great. Rooms are well presented and spacious. The only issue I had was when I first arrived the room smelt really bad. Reception staff advised that it was because the room had be empty for a while so the smell was coming from the drains. Ran a hot shower and flushed the drains, smell gone. Management need to ensure rooms are ready before visitors arrive that includes a smell check, it was a little off putting. I had other people travelling with me and their rooms were ok, they commented that they wouldnt stay in the room because of the smell so it wasnt just my BO.
