Lovely food, hand made pastries and desserts all at a good value. Coffee is always beautiful, I can tell by the taste that the espresso machine is well maintained and the milk is never overheated. Coffee even comes with a little cookie!The staff are always friendly and inviting and are generally more than happy to customise your order; although they are currently sticking to the menu while new staff are trained.Hands down my favourite place for breakfast food in Bowen.

Mince was raw. Chips over cooked and left a bitter after flavour in our mouth. Half the food was wasted because it wasnt edible. 10:30am Thursday December 29, 2021.

This cafe is not at the beach. It’s in a shopping complex. As far as I can see all the photos are of Horseshoe Bay and Horseshoe Bay Cafe. The google page was only updated 1 week ago, surely updating the photos is in order.

Good coffee. Be aware they have moved location and no longer have outdoor spaces. They are indoors next to Woolies.

It is always a pleasure dining at Meraki, the menu changes with the seasons and theres always a great variety of options available, even for vegans and people on the go. All day breakfast is a must...and the view is stunning! UPDATED 6/11/20: The new options for takeaway and catering are fantastic at Merakis new location. I ordered two small catering packs for an afternoon tea birthday party and it was a perfect amount for guests to nibble on before cake. Thank you!

Food ordered: Loaded brekky burger, flat white with almond milkService was good and they seem to enjoy what they do.The burger was as expected (a fancier version of bacon and egg roll), they didnt overdo it with the hollandaise sauce and the proportions were easy to handle. The only suggestion being that I would have preferred the egg yolk to be runny to add to the flavour.Coffee was fine considering theres not many cafes around here. They use bear bones coffee and milk lab almond milk. I guess I appreciated the two shots in medium size compared to a single shot at the other cafe in the area.

Poor service and got told breakfast stop serving after waiting 5 minutes in the line until someone else placed the order. Not coming ever, also friends reviewed the place as poor rate

What lovely lovely people, went for a walk up the rotary look out and come back down and got a milkshake and the guy was just lovely. 10/10 milkshake for the taste and 10/10 service this was lunch time today it’s now 17:22 and we’re still smiling from the service. Thank you!

Loved this beach and Meraki is ideally situated. Staff are friendly and efficient, however I was disappointed with the chicken burger, said chicken quite tough and burger buns burnt black. Meaning of Meraki in Greek : taste, as in "good" taste. Ummmm

I found best salad for me here!I could see beautiful view while had lunch.Just 10 seconds from beach.I will visite again when i stay in Bowen.

Great food and sea view location, poor service. Waited 45 minutes for one bucket of chips after it got taken to the wrong table. Waitresses continued to stand arguing with each other rather than resolving the problem.

Kitchen closes at 3 pm sharp. Even with 4 people in line ready to order food for 10 (I counted). Keen business sense. Bon Appétit!

When we spent the night in Bowen we weren’t sure what we would find for breakfast. This place is a little gem just off the Bruce. Nestled in a secluded little cove, with a nice on shore sea breeze, makes the perfect spot for a relaxing morning coffee.

Lovely cafe right across from the beach. Beautiful breeze and the staff were very helpful and attentive. I ordered wedges and probably the biggest serving Ive ever seen came out. Very generous sizes. I will definitely be back to try more on the menu :)

Exceeded expectations. Good portions. Kid friendly, good coffee and a view worth taking in. Gluten free toast available.

Nice place to grab a bite and a drink. They make lovely fruit smoothies and the portions of the plates and sandwiches are generous. It is the only place to sit and drink something at this spot. There are limited parking spaces available and the ones right in front of the shop have a 30 minute limit. No shaded parking. The beach is right in front of you and has good facilities like shower etc.

Views are priceless.... But the calamari is soooo tender, best ever. Coffee is good too!

Worst time management! Got told there was a 20 min wait for food, after 1 hour we asked how much longer. Zero concerns were given by the staff and we were told a wishy washy answer of 15 mins with no apology. After wasting our time, we left hungry. Would definitely not recommend this place!!

Great staff, great music, great food, great value for money and stunning view, what more could you ask for.

Apparently the wind makes the food cold before it gets to the table, OK if your having sedges they made it out hot, then if you complain its thrown into the deep fryer and refried, yum not.

Really enjoyed the relaxing vibe of this cafe/restaurant at Horseshoe Bay. Both the Legend and Vege breakfasts were sensational.

Coffee was nice, but the food took a long time. When our meals finally arrived they were cold, and the toast was a bit soggy.

Just had dinner at the restaurant/cafe. Shame it was after sunset because the view would have been good. Food was excellent. Calamari entree with lamb cous cous main and lemon & lime cheesecake desert. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. $25 for a bottle of red.

Located opposite the beach at the end of Horseshoe Bay Rd this is a fantastic spot for a quiet lunch nearly everyday or dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. The menu was fairly basic but because the produce was fresh and local it didnt matter.I heard the fish & chips are really good but we tried the Mediterranean salad with grilled prawns - it was an excellent choice.There were Peacocks strutting around acting like local diners - they added to the relaxed atmosphere.An enjoyable lunch with little to nothing to fault.

The coffee is strong, found the serving staff friendly enough and the food was good quality. Price could be a little bit cheaper but you can say that about many places. Nice view of a beach and close to a small walk up to a lookout. Will continue to go back.
