Greek plates & unique craft cocktails presented in a breezy, brick-lined setting with stylish decor.
Excellent food and selection of wines. Upbeat athmostphere and perfect date night spot. They also have a bar where you can enjoy a wide selection of cocktails.
What a fabulous Greek restaurant. Went there with my family The food was delicious and the staff amezing .Definitely would go back again!
One of the best restaurants in London. you need to be ready to pay a bit extra but you wont leave disapointed. Greece at its best. well done to the whole team! They need keep it consistent. if they do they re in great form!
Food that highlights the flavour of the freshest ingredients
Absolutely fantastic. I took my parents here for lunch as it was the first Sunday they have opened post covid.Service was fantastic from all staff especially Sophia! Will definitely be back!
Overall food quality is good, ambience is nice, service is attentive but food portion is way too small for the price they charge. Not good value for money, we felt very dissatisfied and left still hungry after spending over £60 per person. won’t be rushed to return.
The food was tasty and the service was good. However the food left more to be desired. Nothing wowed me and my partner. Which wed expected based on past reviews and the prices of the dishes. Additionally the portion sizes were on the small side, and the service charge was a whopping 15%!!Had a good meal, but wont be rushing back anytime soon.
Excellent greek food in the heart of London. The atmosphere is incredible and cocktails are great! Need to book your table in advance but its definitely worth it! Perfect for groups or birthdays.
The best seabass Ive ever had!Every dish was exquisite!Ill come here to taste grilled seabass again.
Two of the best dishes I had in ages, the rosti and the beef cheek. Ooft brilliant. Cocktails were awesome as was everything else. Sat at the bar and had some great chats with the chefs too. Five stars.
Such an overrated place! The food was definitely below par, the portions were small, the service i attentive and they even forgot to bring a dish we had ordered. I have had excellent saganaki prawns and lamb kababs at other Greek restaurants. This was just a big disappointment.
The food that we received was ok, if nothing special. How a restaurant can forget four out of eight main courses, however, is beyond me. Im not a fan of overpriced places, and this is evidently one of them. Next time Ill go to Camden, where it will be more authentic and cost half as much, and I might actually receive the food I order.
Great food and great vibes. Dish of the day was the grilled octopus and the chocolate mousse!
Food was quite nice but the service was a bit disappointing. Trying to kick us out if don’t order more food every 30min.
Excellent modern Greek restaurant. Very vibrant and delicious food. Beautiful presentation for every single dish.
Excellent venue, food and service 👍 Dog friendly 🐶
What a fabulous Greek restaurant. Went there last night and loved the ambience and the music. The food was delicious and the staff went out of their way to make it special. Kudos to Kayla, Javi and Yiannis. Definitely would go back again!
Quite tasty, but £32 for three tiny lamb chops with nothing on the side? £13 for a very small Greek salad? One of the poorest value meals Ive had in a long time. Wont be going back.
Excellent Greek restaurant in central London. Really great food. All tasted very fresh and authentic. Highly recommend!
Fast and wonderful service. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was 10/10. Would totally recommend!!
The food was excellent and the cocktails amazing! Its not cheap but the quality is there; the pasta with lobster could be larger for 2 though. The service was very nice, and its a lovely place but it is too noisy for my taste, not a fan of the loud electronic music and everyone shouts as a result. I never understood the concept of having to shout while enjoying dinner but I guess its trendy!
Such a great evening.Very cool place. We had a dinner and tried a lot of plates. All of them were absolutely amazing. You can enjoy the night with the soft music as well during dinner. Modern Greek cuisine 100% recommended.Let’s talk about the wine list: really good selection of wine from all over the world . We chose the red Italian one which was going perfect with the food.Loved it.
Have been there recently for the third time. The ambiance was good for a Saturday evening but the food and service were definitely below par. The execution of some dishes was very disappointing and the flavours were off, while in the past they were great. It feels that they were trying too hard. The service was generally not attentive and we did not appreciate the waiter trying to fill our glasses to rim with wine in order for us to order to get a second bottle. Very disappointed as this was our favourite Greek restaurant in terms of food quality in central London
Its a nice place. I can say a little bit posh but a bit pricey. You can see the kitchen which is quite interesting. The waitress was very nice and polite! The average amount we spent for lunch for two was £150
Honestly one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in London. I loved it so much I went back twice within the space of a month for lunch. Its officially a favourite and one to tell everyone about. The service is impecable, the team are so attentive. The food is to die food, from the starters to the desserts, and the portions are very well served!Highly recommend the lamb chops, lobster pasta, cherry tomatoes salad, ROSTI Greek style with black truffle, and the baklava *chefs kiss* - even the ice cream is amazing! The only thing which I wasnt a fan of was the aubergine side, but thats just not to my taste as its a bit bitter and chargrilled flavour - but nevertheless, didnt sour my experience at the place :)Looking forward to returning to try the rest of the dishes ♥️
AMAZING FOOD . Meraki restaurant is the place you want to be if you love nice quality food. The chefs are doing great job! The customer service was excellent. They speak Greek too so they can help with all the details that you might want to know about the menu.
I love Meraki bar! Great cocktails & the ambiance. I have been there many times & keep coming back for more! This place never disappoints me: great music 🎶 and you can have delicious dinner at their Greek restaurant before heading to the bar. Definitely best Greek food in town and🔝 cocktail 🍸
Outstanding food and service! Everything that we ordered was exceptional - grilled octopus, smoked aubergine, lamb chops and grilled beef fillet. We celebrated my brother’s birthday & graduation and the chef sweetly prepared 2 different plates of congratulatory messages which was a really nice touch! Also, the dessert that the chef prepared for the celebratory plates was really yummy and should be added to the menu!
Very creative Greek cuisine! The food is pretty good and service is quite alright too. Somehow the big menu is a problem and also not a problem in the same time, but it anyway leaves you with some FOMO.The place itself is quite nice, a bit too loud to my liking. The fish display is very fresh and brings a market vibe. The dishes are authentic and also creative. It’s not cheap, but if you are in for an upscale Greek cuisine, this is the one I would go for in London. The lamb chops, olives and chips were the highlight courses, while the sea bass ceviche doesn’t fall too much behind.
No complaints at all, food was lovely and fresh, staff really polite and made great recommendations. Decor so simple and tones would go great with any outfit for a photo if you’re looking to capture the moment.
Amazing place! Excellent greek food and lovely staff.
It is good, but not great. Put aside the long hair in our long dish, and won’t count it in criticizing the food (cause if I’d include the hair it would of been 1 star).Food is good but not great. Selection was wide and staff was great and welcoming. But, if you’re looking for Greek food there are much more exciting places such as Opso and Millos.Long story short, if you’re next door and hungry - give it a try. Otherwise, don’t make an effort.
Beautiful restaurant, exquisite food, truly wonderful service. 10/10 I have no higher recommendation. A must visit.
Always a great time at Meraki. Buzzy quality place with an upmarket, yet local feel. Fab menu and delicious cocktail list. Staff are friendly and on point- lively on Fri/Saturday evening. Must try the roast chicken thighs, bbq Octopus and tomato salad.
My boyfriend booked this restaurant for our anniversary & we had the best time & food. The cocktail Hades was lovely & the ambience made you feel as if you’re in Mykonos. Definitely the best Greek I had in London - coming from a Greek🤗
The food, service and atmosphere were great. We came with our toddler and he had the children menu that includes a salad (he didnt touch), pasta that was simple and delicious and a dessert for 15.If you book the table through their website it offers the eat out to help out discount, which is exclusive to their website booking and was a nice surprise! You must have the scallop carpacio, yes its expensive, but WOW was just amazing.
Lovely dinner this evening! Really tasty food, with big open kitchen. Brilliant vibe (quite loudwith great cocktails. Modern and premium feel. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, really made our night. Will definitely be back!
A lovely cozy Greek Restaurant with authentic Greek flavors. Try all of the spreads(tzatziki, melitzanisalata, kopanisti etcAll the hot mezze we tried were super tasteful( saga Ali cheese, pastitsio, myconian greek salad etc🥗🧆 Salt-crusted sea bass 🐟 is a must!!
In a nutshell: Great food, bad service.Had meat for mains a nice starters, everything was very good, especially the lamp chops. The restaurant have an open kitchen which is fun to watch, they work in perfect harmony and very quiet.Unfortunately the service we got was pretty poor, rather long wait time between the starters and the mains, had to ask for the bill 3 times and then it took another significant amount of time until they were back with th card machine, so long we had to stand up to get attention. Too bad, because everything else was really 5 stars
Gorgeous. We went to the bar which was more than just a bar. They gave you an experience alongside with your drink. Of course, this can backfire as not everyone finds the stories behind the Greek gods interesting. Well, I did so Im keeping that!
Looking for authentic Greek cuisine with style, you’ve found one of them. Make sure you book ahead as they are quite popular. We initially thought (from the other reviewsthat the portions were small but in fact they are actually considerate and value for money. Just choose approx. 3-4 cold/hot dishes. You can always order more later should your belly and tastebuds want more. The service was amazing and really did cater for dietary conditions and special occasions such as birthday. Fantastic place. Do try out their weekly menu and also their special (with a tasteSunday option too.
Delicious food, attentive service and greater ambience. To start with, we ordered some pita bread mix and beef tartare. The beef tartare oddly did not taste raw at all, it turned out to be much tastier than I expected!Other dishes that I particularly enjoyed are the pork gyros, chicken souvlakia, lamb chops and smoked aubergine. The gyros was served with grated cucumber, which gave it a refreshing taste with a dash of lime.Chicken souvlakia was so juicy with crispy skin, simply succulent.Lamb chops - By bar the best dish! It was served medium but wasnt bloody at all! All lovely meat juice was preserved in the meat, making it exceptionally tender. Have this with the grilled aubergine and hummus on the side of the plate, it is a must-try dish!To finish, the four of us ordered a bougatsa to share. We were planning to order a second dessert but was alerted by the waiter of the large portion. Thanks to him, we stuck to just the bougatsa, it was way too big even for the four of us... especially after all that food beforehand...The bougatsa had a slight twist, different from a traditional one which is served with cinnamon and icing sugar. A caramel infused chocolate sauce was drizzled over the pastry. Unfortunately, the chocolate taste was rather faint and we all prefer the traditional bougatsa.Anyhow, in the entirety of the outstanding experience, this was a small flaw.
A blend of modern styling and traditional menu items but with a clean, urban twist. Greek, but somehow global. Food was fresh, immaculately presented and really tasty. Portions are reasonable and ideal for sharing. ItemsArrive as they are ready rather than as courses so it’s ideal for sharing and informal meals. Wasn’t overly full on a weekday lunch time. Service was attentive and friendly.
absolutely love the food! great combination with black truffle and eggs. the service was attentive. tho the portion might be a bit small, but who comes here only for filling the stomach?
This place was brilliant. Really tasty Greek food served in a modern way, perfect for sharing. Everything tasted great, and it was a fantastic opportunity to try lots of different things. I highly recommend the spinach and feta pie salad (yes, thats a thingand the Santorini tomatoes. Ill be back!
We went here for lunch which got recommended by a Greek colleague and we were not disappointed. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, well presented, great in portion size and were served quite quick after ordering. I can recommend everything, but definitely try the oxtail ragu with the pasta (see photos)
3 stars for the food. Great value set lunch and small plates perfect for those times you feel like grazing or are being indecisive. The bar downstairs is a disappointment - way too cramped to begin with and they then allowed in a raucous work party when we visited.
I can’t say enough how much I love this place but it’s my new favourite restaurant and go at least 3 times a week.Greek food is nice but here they’ve raised the bar so high it has to now be the best in London! The food is sublime and the staff are always happy and friendly.
Great food, even better atmosphere. We had an incredible bottle of wine which could not have been a better match for the food we chose. The staff were very spot on with their wine recommendation. The atmosphere is very cool and despite being a "Greek" restaurant, they did not have any of that traditional Greek music going on which helped to intensify the cool vibe of the atmosphere and you could actually hear the person sitting in front of you. The decor and the clothing of staff were very carefully chosen. The food was incredibly fresh and even their tomatoes were very tasty. By far the best lamb cutlet Ive ever had and make sure to try the Trahana. The portions are not very generous but theyre enough. As 2 people, we ordered 3 starters, 1 side salad and 2 mains and 1 dessert and we were incredibly stuffed! The service was very quick but I have to agree that they are distractingly overstaffed. I understand they want to focus on service and be speedy but sometimes they were too eager to take the plate in front of us away. Their lemon ice cream next to loukmades was an unexpected yet an excellent touch, definitely recommend it. It is pricey but definitely worth it. Overall 5/5, thank you Meraki!
Spacious Greek restaurant in Fitzrovia with an eye on design above all else. Recently opened, it still has some kinks to work out. They are evidently focused on service but are distractingly overstaffed. The food presentation is impressive but the portions seem more determined by the dish theyre served in. Taramosalata came beautifully served in a large glass cone resting in ice. Despite the large portion, it was only accompanied by a few pita chips. Likewise, the freshly toasted bread was delicious, though scarce. The monkfish was a highlight as was the spicy squid ragout. Walnut cake to finish. In short, its still finding its feet with both the ambience and the food. Worthwhile a second try.
