Menchie's Frozen Yogurt in Tacoma

Flavors and toppings are decent. Waffle cone was soggy and tasted like it had been sitting in the display case for a week. Definitely wouldnt recommend the waffle cones. Kind of ruined the experience because I like waffle cones a lot.

Very clean, nice staff, dairy free and gluten free options, and I thought a sugar free option as well just took a few to find since is located outside and not inside the mall.

It was fun my son liked it although it cost my wallet quite a bit but we had a good time overall nice family place to go and get frozen yogurt.

It was our first time here yesterday. Everything was extremely clean, inducing the bathrooms which was nice! The toppings are all in separate personal containers to grab to help prevent people touching the same spoon/area. My go-to flavors and toppings are vanilla & chocolate swirl with peanut butter cups and chocolate syrup. My family and I were all happy with our choices!

Worst customer service ever. Their credit card machine wasn’t working. They didn’t inform us prior to making our yogurt. When they told us at the counter, one gal said “so you don’t have any money?”. I said , “ I just don’t have cash on me. Is there a cash machine nearby? “. She answered “I don’t know” with a rude attitude. We left. Without our yogurt. I called just now to find out who the owner or manager was. Same snotty girl. Refused to give me any information and then hung up on me. NO THANKS!!!!

I visited the Tacoma Menchies about a few hours ago where that customer left that terrible review, she was extremely rude to the young lady working because it cannot be her fault that the credit card machine is broken. Some people have obviously never worked customer service before. Besides the snotty customer I must say the service at this location has been exceptional. I even went yesterday for the fill your cup friday and I had such a delightful time. Will be coming back here!!!

I had the best experience at the Tacoma mall menchie’s. The Menchie’s team, Itzel in particular, was very kind and had great customer service. I 10/10 recommend.

We used to come here all the time until covid, this is our first time being here since everything has reopened and this place has dropped dramatically. The girl inside you could tell she just didnt care to be there, all the yogurts were more icy than they were creamy like they should be. They all had horrible flavor especially the cake batter which normally is always good. The chairs and table outside were dirty, it just feels like they just dont care anymore.

This place looked very clean and they sanitize the handles which I think is very smart. Sample cups and gloves are offered you just have to ask! The girls who work there have all been very nice to me. Also i think they have a lot of great options for any age. Will definitely be coming by again!

The workers were very helpful and sweet! I appreciate the cleanliness, and the various flavors they have at this froyo location. 10/10 would reccomend!

They no longer offer sample cups, which is understandable but I havent been in since before the pandemic so wasnt sure if they do or not. I asked and the cashier got annoyed and rudely said "No" and walked away. At least put a sign up. There are signs everywhere saying you cant eat inside, but there was a lot of people sitting there eating. The toppings are in little cups and youre expect to carry these around as there are signs saying you cant use the counter. I asked for a bag and the lady, once again gave me a smug look.

Theyre doing the toppings in little plastic cups so everything is safe and sanitary. Girl at the checkout was very sweet, and I got my firzt 5 oz free for solving the riddle on the board!

YOUR EMPLOYEES ARE LAZY!! I GOT TO MENCHIES AT 8:50PM 10 MIN BEFORE CLOSING! THE GIRL WAS JUST STANDING THERE ANS REFUSE TO OPEN THE DOOR!! I WILL NOT BE RETURNING HERE ANY MORE AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO COME HERE EITHER!! I WILL START GOING TO BLACK BEAR ON 72ND INSTEAD HORRIBLE!!

Nowhere near as nice as the ones in Canada, but it hits the spot. A lot of yummy flavors and toppings. Better tasting and way less expensive than Black Bear.

Walked in the store nobody was in there..i had to yell hello is anybody here multiple times before i seen a clerk come out of the back..the fruit wasnt fresh and were sour and hard.

I ordered a custom cake and when I receive it, I asked if my seasonal fruit topping was included, because I saw none on the cake. I was told it might be on the inside. Got home and found that the bottom of the cake box was leaking caramel sauce, I ordered chocolate fudge. I asked for a bag before I left and they dont have any for cakes. I get home slice open the cake for my husbands congratulations for being a great husband, and no sight of seasonal fruit anywhere and the sauce filling was supposed to be Chocolate Fudge. They put caramel sauce..... I will be calling tomorrow to see how they can remedy this issue.

Its ok, not great, not bad. Not flavorful, with a poor selection of flavors. You can taste what you like, but remember, there is no control over cleanliness here, no one watches out for cleanliness and whos fingers and other parts have been touching those machines.Not my kind of place and certainly not cheap.If you found this helpful, please click Like for me, thanks.

They don’t have the most toppings out of all the menchies we’ve been to but it is definitely menchies. I’ve always enjoyed this franchise well living in San Antonio because the flavors actually taste like the flavor it says and it was beyond amazing to find one here at our new home. The flavors are good, the employees are nice and professional, and it is always great with the house made waffles. Their topping bar is a little small compared to the home we had back home, which is why I gave it four stars, but still a great place for froyo.

Favorite froyo joint. They also have Magic Shell chocolate (the main reason I go there). Their bathroom is the cleanest! They always have something for my gf/cf child and its such a fun atmosphere. This place makes me happy. Their frozen yogurt just tastes better than most other places.

Oh my goodness, you dont know how happy I was to find the Dole pineapple here, its my favorite flavor!!! We just moved back from the East coast and they didnt have anything like it over there so Im glad to be back in an area that has Menchies.

Went in at 9:30pm to get a cup of yogurt, I know you guys close at 10pm, but still had plenty of time to get in and out. Was disappointed to see the girls working removing all of the toppings from the cold area and all of the spoons out of the concealed toppings on the counter and putting all the chairs up. They then handed me a menchies spoon to get my toppings. The only problem I had with doing that was, cross contamination. For instance, what if I had gotten reseeses, then sprinkles and someone tomorrow, possibly allergic to peanut butter, got those sprinkles? Could be a potential problem. I know the girls wanted to get home but if you close at 10pm that is when you should be shutting down. I can see shutting down if no one is in there but I was not the only person in there at the time. I also asked if they had mochi in the back and was answered with a strict no. But I am postive they will have some out tomorrow... I was not the only unhappy customer and I witnessed other potential customers leaving because they saw the girls closing up.

Dear Frozen Yogurt, you are the celery of desserts. Be ice cream or be nothing. One star.
