I lived in Delano for most of my life. I moved out about 10 years ago. it was pretty sad to go back to that park and see how it was poorly maintained and the restrooms were locked. You would think with all the revenue that comes in to that city from the 2 prisons they would have upgrade that park by now. Very sad 😔 Not sure if its a city park or county park but something needs to be done. Thank you.

I like how they have 1 swing there but the other one is broken and the playgrounds are very very dirty. Is a good place for the kids to walk around in the grassy areas though 😉

Need a big green tarp like MLK PARK over the Playground. Should be one at all the playgrounds . its too hot for these kids to be on the play structure especially with all the summer functions that are gong on. With people coming out from quarantine. Just my opinion but the park is beautiful

Has a small historical museum. Open 9 to 2 most days. I have heard people have seen ghost in area it can be pretty exciting go and find out.

The place is big and useful for family gatherings. The playgrounds are somewhat damage and the grass is mostly dry.

Its a real nice park. Big pavilion with lights and electrical outlets. You can also go golfing here.
