Absolutely fantastic experience and food at this family owned business. Probably the best food we have had in Switzerland. The hostess and waitress are both lovely and welcoming. Will definitely come again

Amazing breakfast! One of the best meals we had while staying in Lucerne. Everything was fresh and delicious. Nicholas was very helpful in explaining the menu to us since we only spoke English.

Cheese cake was top notch but my regret was trying the Hafer cappuccino which tasted like raw egg . The Oat milk was definitely recycled by the barista or it was just from the bad espresso p

Horrible service and very unfriendly staff!!! Will never go back there again !!!They should update their website, as it iswritten a la carte menu is offered duringthe week and weekends, however whenwe arrived the waiter ask us if its our firsttime or not, so to make sure she can sellus the Buffett... she said we can onlytake the Buffett which is 42 CHF, and wecan not choose from the a la carte.... then Iwonder why in the a la carte menu iswritten “Wochentags von 7:30 bis 1115 Ur und am Wochenende bis 14,00 Uhr”

I went with my partner to have a Sunday brunch. The experience was excellent, with fantastic food, pretty decorations and most importantly, outstanding service! Special mention to Nicholas and a wonderful host!

A buffet full of sweet and salty brunch options for as low as 28 CHF (coffee and juice incl.at a warm and cosy environment similar to a French bistrot! Really enjoyed it! Couldnt recommend it more!

Beautiful place, the brunch buffer was more than delicious. The personal was very friendly and helpful. I would give 6 stars if possible :for sure the best brunch in Luzern.

Very pleasant surprise! Delicious brunch!! The muesli and the bagel with salmon were perfect. The bagel was warm and crunchy, which made it easier to eat. The coffee had a nice presentation, but wasn’t strong enough to me, thereby I put 4*. I wish there was such a place in Basel!

Very nice breakfast and excellent service. The Mexican omelette is delicious, also the sunny sideup eggs, scrambled eggs was good.

The Mexican Omelette was absolutely delicious! I wish I would’ve ordered that instead of the pancakes. The pancakes weren’t soft or fluffy, they were crispy, but my husbands omelette was delicious!

Lovely fresh warm pastries. Patient gentleman serving us. Tip top. I would have posted a photo but my darlings ate theirs before we got home.

The interior is very relaxing and homey. The brunch choice is a grand mix and match of foods. You can tell its all fresh and made by hand rather then ahead of time. The lady which owns the place together with her Husband was just so lovely and gave us a Tulip and bonus cookie as well. Got nothing to complain about and money for value is definetly given :)

Sadly experience was very unwelcoming. We walked in and waited for 15 min even though the lady working there was right in front of us (we sat by the bar in front of the coffee machineand ignored us. No one seemed to care and we felt so unwelcome we left. Not good first impression 👎

Ate here for breakfast and the food was really good! The service of the staff were even better hence the 5 stars!Food was late and they offered a free coffee. We didn’t mind the wait so we refused the free coffee. They ended up giving charging us less for a drink. Good service and good food!

What a godsend. This place not only does TASTY food (we had the mexican burger). But they also have a lovely environment, staff AND they take dogs which, as it was raining outside, was epic.Could have stayed here for hours.

Very bad food and service. Took so long to even take the order. They are rude and cheat the tourist. Charged us for 2 extra items, we ordered 3 ice-cream flavors, they were no longer serving mocha but charged us. Ice-cream tasted very bad due to artificial flavor. Coffee was cold and chicken nuggets had some kind of smell. Our server (Kasselwas most rude, we noticed even to the table guests across us. In all we spent our precious vacation time and money but had very unpleasant experience.To Owner’s Response:Well, it is the right restaurant and you had the male waiter on July 19th 2019, the day we visited and that was the name I found on the receipt. I can post picture of your place from that day.I just wanted to provide my feedback, I am not coming back for money. For my family, experience, time and moments are invaluable and that can’t be changed now.

Nice homey place with large variety food (we went for Sunday Brunchbut very heavy in animal products which made in impossible for a vegan to eat anyhing so we left again. Thats disappointing in 2019 in Luzern.Also, several staff members seemed lost in the question of vegan options which is always an indicator for me to move on.

Very good cappuccino but only if you order at the restaurant, not take away. Service could be better.

We visited Melissas Kitchen in July of the this year and loved our visit so much that we returned the next morning for breakfast! We are a Canadian family of 5 that were treated so well by Melissa, her Mom and all of the other staff at the restaurant. The quiches were to die for! as were all of the pastries and salads. The decor was just as beautiful as the food. This is a must visit in Luzern!

Wonderful Breakfast, kid friendly. The staff had great recommendations for local places to check out that were not crowded with bus loads of tourists. We loved it so much we returned each day we were in Luzern!!!

Lovely restaurant with an absolutely delicious breakfast. I enjoyed a cup of coffee and fruit/granola yogurt. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere that made me feel like I was back home in Atlanta. The staff is very friendly and service is excellent. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a breakfast place in Lucerne!

Healthy food in a peaceful atmosphere. They offer a menu during week days, good enough.

Marvelous place that felt so homely.Braced the cold and went for breakfast at 530AM. The waiter immediately whisked us to our seat and served us our hot drinks pronto. Drinks were perfect, and the food was up to great.If you ever visit this place after reading this review, the hot chocolate drink is a MUST TRY. And the cookie that comes along with the drink... it’s absolutely TO DIE FOR!!!

We stopped in for a light breakfast, and it hit the spot! There was an English menu with most of the food (drinks were in German but not so hard to figure out). The staff were reasonably friendly and not hard to flag down.

This is place is very cool ! I feel very special there, have so good food and place where we can work and make conection :)
