Set in the Cambuí district, this refined hotel with a portico is a 7-minute walk from Paróquia de Nossa Senhora das Dores church, and 2.3 km from natural history exhibits at the Museu de História Natural.Contemporary rooms with hardwood floors provide free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, as well as minibars and desks. Upgraded rooms add tea and coffeemakers. Room service is available 24/7; kids 5 and under stay free.Breakfast is complimentary. There's a polished restaurant and a bar, in addition to an outdoor pool, a sauna and a gym. The hotel also offers 6 meeting rooms and a business center, plus off-street parking (charge).
We loved our stay @ Melia. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
Super noisy Hotel, they often park interstate buses at the hotel front and keep their engine+AC running for up to 2 hours, the disturbance reaches every floor as the noise reverberates a lot. This goes on all weekend long, avoid it if you care for your peace and would not like to stay at a bus station.
Very convenient location for this hotel in Cambuí Campinas. Everything is walking distance from here, restaurants, pubs, grocery stores, etc.
Great location! The hotel is located in Cambuí, one of the best neighborhoods in Campinas. Surrounded by great restaurants!
Nice hotel with not so impressive rooms.
Great place and service, comfortable
The hotel is in a nice area and the entrance look all fancy but the room we had had a broken window catch and there was construction across the street that started at 8am. That meant been woken up every morning to a jack hammer. The sound from the hallway was also too easy to hear.
1st Time in Melia Campinas for me and my 2 Colleagues. Nice restaurant with friendly Service. Rooms are quiet and clean condition. Thumbs up
Very nice accomodations, friendly service. The breakfast is awesome.
Good place to stay! Good location…
Placed in a side and quite street but still central, the hotel is the ideal place to have a quite place to rest and enjoy some time at the swimming pool. The breakfast is really nice and in general all the service for lunch and dinner. All the persons working there they were kind and English speaking. The room was spacious and clean. I recommend this hotel and I would like to come back!
Excellent hotel, good rooms , good breakfast, good gym. Nice service.
Well located and well equipped (shamoo, conditioner, lotion and shower gel, sewing kit + hygienical stuff), good breakfast with fresh fruits and local food. The interior is not the freshest one, but fantastically clean in the room! Water is not provided for free, so better by couple of bottles before check in. Gym and pool are also here, but i didnt have a chance to check it. Recommended for the price, no doubts
Very nice hotel, the restaurant has a very good level. But the gym is very small
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, just needs small update to get 5 stars
Nice American style hotel. Love the spacious room, the water shower, the pillow and my mattress. Just the TV screen is very small. Have to pay separately breakfast and overnight parking.
Great hotel, with nice rooms and good staff.
Good hotel, well located. The restaurant is ok, but not amazing. Good enough when you dont feel like stepping out to eat. The pool is very nice.
Lovely. Beautiful, calm and comfortable hotel. Clean. Big and beautiful pool. Nice staff. Good restaurant. Good localization, in cambui, close to the neighbourhood of the restaurants, bars and clubs. I do recommand this hotel.
The hotel has smoking ok rooms but expensive, additional 150R per night.
Room Service was able to accommodate my Muslim requirement of preparing dishes free from mixing with any pork or Alcohol. Thanks a lot and a nice clean hotel!
Good quality and friendly staff. All the trimmings of a classic high end hotel
The event room is relatively confortable, although there wasnt enough power plugs for everyone. The hotel is beautiful and the receptionist was very polite. The bathrooms were close to the event room and were very clean. Parking may be a problem. The parking lot is expensive and the streets near the hotel are narrow.
Great Hotel, nice rooms, friendly staff, good price
I went to a conference, and the staff w very friendly and helpful. The room was quite comfortable and the acoustics were also good.
Very nice hotel. Clean and well taken care of. Great set of amenities for the whole family whats a good restaurant and other great restaurants nearby.
Nice hotel. Good and clean and awesome location. Excellent breakfast. If it had a hot tub it would get another star, but dont let that hold you. Place is above average for Campinas.
A fantastic place. The staff is nice, helpful, many speak English, but they were also willing to help me with my Portuguese. Rooms are clean, the food is great at the restaurant. Mario is the greatest waiter, ever. Walking distance from bars and restaurants. I will definitely stay here again if work takes me back to town.
Good service. Excellent breakfast. Rooms are quite outdated but with all needed infrastructure
Nice place, good location, lovely restaurant food. Would recommend
Located in the greatest point of Campinas, you can reach the majority of the best bars and restaurants. Almost everything is walking distance. Safe neighborhood, easy access. Staff is really helpful and accomodations are very good.
This hotel is in a great area of Campinas, its quiet and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is very polite and their English skills are very good. The rooms are clean and modern, and the A/C units are powerful.
Comfortable stay in a nice neighborhood with tons of restaurants, bars and things to do. Very accommodating staff and the room is nice and clean. Excellent breakfast selection.
Nice hotel. Good location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
Lovely hotel in an upmarket area of Campinas. Excellent buffet breakfast
Nice rooms and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. Fitness area is small and treadmills for running are old and not working well. Ive already done several business stays in this hotel, and Ill go back on my next trips. Very good location in Campinas, some good restaurants in the area
A comfortable place with great location and many amenities. The staff is good and has a lot of food variety in the breakfast. They have a large pool backwards, but the sun doesnt reach very well there. Not to complain, a good place to stay in campinas.
Very nice place, stayed here for business travel. Bring your own hair dryer though, the hotel one is ancient and isnt very strong.
Great hotel Ina treat place. Restaurant food could be better.
Extremely well located, on a quiet street, walking distance to downtown without all the noise and traffic of it.
Reception doesnt work that well. Pricing strategy isnt very transparent. Had a upgrade voucher for a better room which gave me a room which was not as nice as the one I had but had a iron and a ironing table, huge fail. Breakfast buffet is very good. Most of the buttons on the treadmills in the fitness room are not working. Fitness room is not very well maintained.
Its a great hotel, the room was very comfortable, and the most important of all for me is the beds are orthopedic.
High class hotel. Great room, lovely breakfast and nice pool and gym. Ticks all the boxes for me.
Great hotel. The only downside is the lack of unlimited free WiFi connection. All the rest was alright!
Its a nice hotel and service works fine. The location is good in the heart of a very fancy area in Campinas sorrounded by good restaurants and bars.
I havent stayed there because they couldnt make up a room for three people (because it was too late and there was only one guy working at that timeand we didnt want to pay for two rooms. But its a nice place and I want to go back soon.
Spartan but adequate room, adequate breakfast. Helpful front desk personnel. I was only there for 2 nights, and did not use any amenities beyond the room, and breakfast. I might try another hotel next time I am there, even though I have heard this one is highly recommended.
Our vacation here in Brazil was almost perfect until we checked in here Tryp Campinas Hotel. The walls are too thin that you can hear what other people are doing in the other room. The ceiling is obviously thin as well since you can hear loud footsteps of inhabitant on the next floor. What made our stay worse is the unprofessional stuffs they have there, particularly their manager, Aline. We were making a simple request but she turned us down. How rude of her! This hotel ranks as one of the worst hotels on Earth!
Stayed here cause of work. They overcharge for everything. The restaurant is horrendously late with service.Staff barely understand orders, frequently get things mixed up and end up getting you something completely different.Only upside is that its clean and close to the center. Morning runs to the nearby zoo were a treat.
Nice hotel, quiet, safe location. Many restaurants within a couple of blocks walking distance. Lots of business people stay here (suits). The room air conditioners can be quite loud - I had to change rooms, but even the "quiet" rooms are loud. Lots of power outlets in the room (110V). Free Wi-fi and cable internet (256K), for R$30 per day you can get a"1MBps" connection. The breakfast buffet was disappointing because the juices were very watered down, the scrambled eggs were curdled and overdone and the rest of the food was very average. Room service was prompt, but again the dishes were very mediocre. The price is reasonable but I would recommend checking around to other hotels in the area. This one needs some attention to improve.
