Melala addis in Addis Ababa

Very quite, comfortable and affordable. The breakfast they serve is fantastic. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They can arrange any thing for you with cheaper prices. The place is near to gollagul tower where you can take the train or taxi. Its located in a safe neighborhood where everyone see you as a friend. Peoples are so nice around there. There is also mulmul bakery near the bnb which makes it easier to get a snack or a cake with coffee.

Airbnb scam

Room I booked on Priceline not available. Had to share bathroom with two other rooms. Door didnt lock and no shower door. Included shuttle service from airport. When I called they said it was too late. Finally got correct room with my own bath. Plumbing didnt work in tub shower. Listed as bed and breakfast but they were shocked when I asked for breakfast. Was overcharged 48 usd for my troubles. Had I not gotten typhoid fever from all the salmonella I go get my money back.

This place is very quiet and clean and easy to walk around. The breakfast is awesome and overall you can say it is a budget guesthouse with good value for the money spend. Highly recommended place to stay in Addis for short or long stays

We stayed at Melala Addis a few times. The location is great - its a quieter neighborhood with some nice homes. You can walk to their newish above ground metro system and get most places for just 2 or 4 Birr.Theres plenty of restaurants nearby with our favorite (pointed out by the staffbeing Road Runner. The hotel also has a great inexpensive kitchen/restaurant. Just order a little in advance since everything is cooked fresh to order.We had shared bathroom rooms - it was large and the bed was comfortable with built in closets / drawers for your things.For just a few $ more, the Deluxe rooms are very nice with big windows, balcony and private bathroom.The staff will pick you up at the airport for free - but you do need to give them advance notice (just email them via bookingto make sure they pickup van is available.The best part of our stay was the staff. They were extremely helpful. Organizing late nite transport. Taking us to local markets to ensure we buy the best Ethiopian coffee - and roasting some of it for us (at no cost). Exchanging money at super rates.They were fabulous and were a memorable part of our visit to Ethiopia.

A very homely place in the heart of the city. The staff is very nice and goes out of their way to make guests comfortable. It was my first visit to Addis and they made sure I travel safe. Its like a home away from home. Very nominal tarrif. Good WiFi all day. Clean comfortable rooms and bathroom.

These place is one of the best places to stay and you will find restaurant that is accessble for guests staying at the property. The rooms are also very clean and nice and is pocket friendly. 👍👍👍
