Good running and walking track

Good jogging place, used to go there in past,visited again and it was very bad experience, this was good place for jogging, walk, exercise and for different games, but it needs maintenance and cleanileness very badly now, it looks like no one is interested in places of public interest.

This is a ground where many events can be held... Specially a Mela every year in this ground.... Therefore the name of this ground is known as "Mela Mandi Ground". This is government place.

A park which contains fairly large area . But I am sad to see that it hasnt been maintained well at all . Given its large area , if maintained properly and arrnaged well this could serve as one of the really great parks and amusement and recreation centre for the people of Sargodha . The district management and peoples representative seriously need to work on it .

The ground is actually famous for the annual Mela Jashn e Baharan which was held every year in March with utmost jubilations . Cattle breeds of great races were brought for exhibitions and various cultural events also taook place . Competitions of various cultural games like Kabaddi and traditional local wrestling also were also held and the signature event of this Mela used to be the game of Tent Pegging (Neza Baazi ). There used to be huge gathering of people from all the adjacent districts who used to come to witness and enjoy the event . However , since the last event took place in march 2018 , owing to security reasons this even of great cultural and traditional value isnt taking place .Besides that this is a huge park which contains fairly large area . But I am highly disappointed to see that it hasnt been maintained well at all . Mela mandi ground is a place which is used to play cricket, football and joging.

The tradition of livestock testicles is alive and well. The yearly festival is held here with beautiful livestock and agricultural shows, cottage industry exhibition, circus and games. Fun for everyone. There is also a sports complex here open throughout the year and the cattle market is also held here.

Special thing here is khidmat center.every kind of work like driving licence learning cnic Police verification is under one roof

Mela mandi ground is a nice place specially for morning walks but thats not that reason for its creation. Mela mandi as name suggests its a festival celebration place there is an annual event of niza bazi and lucky irani sirkas and this palce is over crowded in those days. In routine mostly its used by locals for cricket and morning walks. Its an historical place because it was built very long time ago. It is near to the police training school and tariq abad colony.

This is a good open air space, which can be converted to beautiful park if given proper attention
