Medusa Bar in Stockholm

They are so rude. They dont know english.

The only place in Stockholm found that is a bar with a DJ that one doesnt have to pay for the entrance. Place was a little bit trashed.

Most sketchiest place I have visited in Stockholm. Atmosphere was not welcoming what so ever.

No right to sleep on the table. Very bad bar and even hostel! No bed linen provided, sleeping bags not allowed

Basic bar in Old Town, drunk people atmosphere, so if you’re goal to get drunk this is a good spot for you. There are better places around though.

I thought the reviews were a fun joke. We went in with a group. The bartender (asian originon 26th November 2018 at 5.30pm (in case we are killedwas the rudest non fun person I’ve ever encountered at a dive bar (or any bar for that matter). It ruined our day and if you are looking for a fun bar or dive bar, like we were. Don’t waste your time or money . In fact, they should have paid us. Sorry .

Good place for just getting a beer, chilling and watching a game. Other than that, its not a very clean place and the toilets are filthy.

Somewhat crazy place but a great wiew over Slussen and Söder district of Stockholm!Best time to visiit by sunset.....

Its ok for cheap beer, I have been just once and that was not in the happy hour, it was mostly that bar was the only working in the closest area, and we went just for one more drink. The toilets are very very bad, they smell terrible and go only if you really need to go. The stuff were drinking in the bar, maybe because was late and it was during the week. No one just us were there. The tunnels inside are crazy and you can kind a get lost, so we were on the "second" floor. It was ok, for visiting once, but I dont think that I would visit again.

Great place in old town Stockholm, probably the cheapest beer, especially during happy hour, lasting till 8pm.

99kr for a fish & chips + beer, and very good nonetheless

"gigs" on a Saturday night can turn out good, if you like rock music

Not a bad place to reward yourself with a cheap (for Stockholmpint in Old Town. 29kr during happy hour until 8pm. Small place which I’m sure gets rowdy later.

Cheap beer but gods how it stinks of urine in here! The walls inside have been vandalized with some graffitti of little merit (if it was on purpose, then someone has screwed badly with design), there is maybe 20 cm between tables so it very difficult to feel comfortable. Especially since the banks next to them are so narrow I could barely sit on them and my jacket kept falling down from it. Never going back here and strongly NOT recommending.

Had 1 drink here on a Sat night, when we went for the 2nd a guy tried to jump infront, when the guy ordering reaffirmed his position, but not in a boisterous or violent way, (a whole 55" of himThe "boss" told security to put us out! Prick, the security are pure gentlemen though! A 10/10 for them, they had to do what they were told by the "boss"!

Dont be tempted by the 29SEK beer unless you really dont like beer... Its awful, vile. Id go as far as saying one of the worst beers Ive tasted.Regardless of the beer, the bar is small, dirty, and has a delightful odour of yesterdays vomit.Surprisingly they serve food, but I think Id rather eat out of the bins of an ebola ridden refugee camp.Avoid at all costs unless your only requirement is cheap terrible beer and foul odour.

Cheap beer (29:- for 40cl), small outside serving area but with a nice view of the water. Cheap good, nothing too special but very reasonably priced. A bit of a five, but in an ok way.

very rude staff. we got the 29sek happy hour beer and staff took 59sek for it and when we noticed, they didnt want to show us the receipt of the transact until we demanded it. we got the separation back but we are not coming back.

Perfect for students and karaoké lovers each thursday evening. Cheap beer, cheap music, what else, it is a student place.

The cheap beer is low alcohol.What is more the toilettes are not cleaned frequently enough.Music is bad and the place in general is only for young ages.

Went here on a Saturday, full of people around 20 years old. Popular by students? Very busy and music is quite loud. Has a small dance floor with disco lighting in the basement.

Cheap bar, advertised as a rock bar but plays RnB? Toilets are discussing and not even bolted to the floor. We were also approached and asked questions in a threatening way, by whom I assumed was the bouncer, but he was inside and did not identify himself. We were then told to be quiet. In a bar. With blaring music.Everything we made an order (of the same 3 drinkswe would receive different drinks each time. Pretty sure the waitress was drunk.This place is a dump. Loved it

The good: cheap drink & catacombs are interesting.The bad: bar staff are really rude. A lady at the bar before me was told to go away / move before she could even get change in her pocket.I was later asked to leave for being drunk. It was early being and I was completely sober, talking about crossing paths with the Prime minister that day. I asked how the assessment was made that I was drink to be told I had nodded my head.We were a mixed race group of 7 professional people in our late 30s. Although they singled me out, it was clear they wanted the group out. We left without objection as we dont want to stay somewhere like that. It was clear discrimination that other reviews echo, we just dont know the exact reason and dont care.I should point out this came from medusa bars security / manager and NOT the uniformed security that you find at that bar and many other Swedish bars. The uniformed security were polite and well mannered to our group at various locations.

Not a very cozy place at all, it feels run down and way worse than other Lion Bars. Still relatively cheap though.

Late night bar, crowded and lively. Good location in the Old Town, where it is one of not very many bars that stays ope into the small hours.

Cheap beer (for sweden). Three different ambients , underground cool space. Good for occasionally going with friends and have a good time.

Good food, good beer, good music! what else could you ask for? yes is quite cheap!! just great!!!
