Had an absolute blast! Medusa was by far my favorite roller coaster that I went on! Its a must to go on!!

The Medusa is my favorite rude at six flags. Love that 4 people can ride together and that it doesnt bang your head and neck around like the Kong ride does. Its a blast

One of the best rides in Discovery Kingdom. If you like it? Next time try the ride with your eyes closed 👍🏼

I had a really fun time on the HUGE rollercoaster. It seats 4, and is a bit of a faded green.

Medusa and Joker were the most thrilling in the park. Ride time was not bad either.

I have been deathly afraid of rollercoasters literally my entire life until recently. Medusa is beyond my absolute FAVORITE ever!!such a smooth and freaking awesome coaster!

Best ride. Line was cool and in the shade. The operators were inviting and funny

I expected more since all my friends were saying its the scariest ride but it wasnt that bad. Still very fun though.

We didnt go on every ride, but between Batman, Kong, and Medusa, the last was the best. Line moves quickly, ride is the longest in the park, and its by far the smoothest. My old bones like roller-coasters, but not getting shaken to my core. Batman was good, but HUGE wait time & SUPER short. Luike 40 minute wait (WITH Fast Pass!!for 40 second ride. Ill take Medusa over that!

My 9 year old loved it but kept his eyes closed the whole time 😁

Ride was great! Recommend if you like an adrenaline rush! I screamed my lungs out, but was fun.TOO BAD IT TOOK 2-1/2 hours to get to ride it.And every group had 4 to 5 empty seats and no one was filling them at all like other parks where they ask for single riders of if people dont mind splitting up.Well that is my opinion!

Had so much fun.... love fright fest. The ride were also amazing. drinks n food, so disappointing 😞to expensive for the quality and the wait.

Epic beginning drop, upside down 7 times most of which were negative Gs. A bit shaky after the first time but ended up going back for a wonderful second time. This review written by a 68 year old grandmother who is now feeling badass!! :):)

We got the flash pass. It’s kinda stupid the way it’s set up & extremely expensive for no reason. Is it worth the extra $50? ehhh kinda hard to call. It pretty much makes it so you don’t have to wait in line. But you still have to wait somewhere in the park. Like it took 40 minutes on average for each ride. It was 80 minutes for Superman 👀 I guess you have to get the $100 flash passes for it to actually be worth it but idk I felt ripped off. Still made it fun but I hope they fix the flash passes. I think we got on 4 rides in 4 hours.

There are some very thrilling rides at 6 flags. I have to say this is perhaps one of the better ones. I would to rank this much higher than flash or superman. Here is the reasons why. Firstly it looks like another roller coaster. However that deseption puts you initially at ease as you board. Moreover because of its appearance the wait time in line for the ride is relatively small ( about 20 mins as opposed to 2 hours for a 43 second ride on superman !!!). Secondly now that you are at ease the designers of the rides have done a tremendous job in creating convoluted twists and turns and barrel rolls and upside down loops with enough G to bring your sense to the edge!! Simply amazing. The way I would rank 6 flags rides is as follows:1. Batman. Amazing ride waiting smallest2. Wonder woman. Superb ride and very thrilling3 Medusa. Great ride4 joker5 flash6 supermanAnd then the rest

Now that more of the rides are open it is more e joyable. Gotta love having the dining pass added to our park membership!!!

Havent ridden this ride in forever. Love love love it! Even got to take an awesome photo which is now hanging on my wall. Until next time!

First floorless coaster Ive ridden and one of the smoothest, most enjoyable ones to date! I love B & Ms design on this one! The restraints feel comfortable, the layout of 7 inversions is just right, giving you breathing space between each one without rattling your head around, the forces are full and powerful, its quiet, its fast, and its just an overall brilliant ride from start to finish!A must see at this park!The only thing that could make it better is some more theming so its less of a "parking lot coaster", but thats a minor nitpick. :D <3

RATING COULD AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER BUT BECAUSE MY THREE SONS AND ABOUT 15 NIECES AND NEPHEWS ONLY WERE ONLY ABLE TO GET ON ONE AND TWO RIDES ALL DAY I GAVE IT A FAIR RATING.TO GET ON RIDES YOU HAD TO WAIT FROM ONE AND A HALF HOUR TO TWO AND A HALF HOURS TO GET ON RIDE AND ON THE LAST RIDE THEY WERE IN LINE TO GET ON WAS BATMAN RIDE AND THAT JAMMED UP AND LEFT PEOPLE ON THE RIDE HANGING FOR A WHILE TILL THEY FINALLY GOT IT GOING BUT ONLY FOR THE NEXT PEOPLE IN LINE TO GET JAMMED UP THERE ALSO AND BY THEN THEY CLOSED THAT RIDE DOWN BUT IT WAS LATE BY THAT TIME ALLREADY SO WE DECIDED TO LEAVE AND MY BOYS AND NIECES AND NEPHEWS WERE ALL UPSET,IT WAS OUR WORST EXPERIANCE EVER.

Great ride, but spoiled by people cutting line and no enforcement at all, if you like cutting or dont mind people cutting in front of you, its great.

My absolute favorite ride!! Probably the longest and one of the fastest rides, twists, turns and loops. I also like how when you board the floor drops out from under your feet, row 4 has a couple larger seats for big and tall riders (this is another tight fitting ride5 star fun!

I looooove this ride i went on fourth of july and then a friday and both days were super croweded but i alos went on a wed and it was a super short line i could ride it more then 4 times an hr and its def the most fun at the park also you should go for front row seats the extra wait is def worth it!!!

Medusa sure is a great ride... other than getting your head hit like a ping pong, but most importantly, the lines go by fast.

Best ride in the park. Went on multiple times. My wife who doesnt ride coaster got on and loved it!

Other than the paint being a little faded its hard to believe this ride is turning 20 years old this year. It is so smooth, the restraints are so comfortable and the first roll after the drop is crazy. Even if youre scared of coasters try this one, you feel very secure on this ride.

⋆ What a LET DOWN ⋆ Girl working the photo stand deleted our picture before we even got to see it. Said she “HAD to sensor it” because the group in front of us had their middle finger out and you could see it in our photo. ... Kay, I’m sorry but... CROP them OUT of OUR freakin picture if it’s That big of a deal then! Don’t DELETE ours on the LAST ride of the night before closing! We drove 4 hours to get there today, and Finally worked up the courage to actually ride on Medusa at 8:57pm when they closed at 9:00. They were excited for the photo to have as “proof”. My kids were VERY upset😢What a let down.

Fantastic ride! Very nice and smooth, friendly but fast and very intense. We had three rides before people started forming a line. Love Medusa! The best ride in the Park.

Smooth, fast, and typically a short wait. Expect your eyes to water from the high speeds and make sure to put your stuff in a locker as they are strict about their no bags policy. Water bottles are okay though.

This ride is always great. Note go before opening and ride this right away. You will have to wait for testing but thats better than two hours waiting any time after opening. Then go straight to long for no line wait.

Best ride in the park (at least that were open). Silky smooth track, no jerk on the lift chain, and fairly comfortable seats/restraints. Massive first drop, long ride time, and fairly short lines. Definitely a must ride.

Great roller coaster! Set some records back in the day but Ive been on bigger faster twistier roller coasters. The bottom line is that it may not be the flashiest but it is a smooth and engaging thrill ride the whole way through. She wont make you sick to your stomach but itll just send chills up-and-down your spine and put a smile on her face!Enjoy Medusa!

Probably the best coaster in Northern California! If youre really addicted to this ride like i do then you really need a Flash pass because this line can become waits of an hour before you can ride it!If you dont have one, try to go during the first opening of the day as well as late into the night before the park closes!

I love this ride! This was my first big kid rollercoaster, and it made me come out of my shell. The first time I went on it I was willing to go even though I was extremely scared and nervous. Before this I went a ride called Demon at Great America, and that ride makes you feel gravity like A LOT, but the first time I went on Medusa I was amazed! In the end this is one of the best rollercoasters Ive ever been on.

OMG!!! This is the best ride ever!!! I was going on and it was my first loop ride. I was nervous and excited. The drop was actually a long but angled drop. If this is also your first loop ride dont worry. The loops feel nothing like going upside probably because there zero gravity loops. Only one part of the ride is actually rough.

An absolutely great coaster, make sure you remember that you cant bring bags/backpacks on the ride, so leave them in the lockers downstairs. In the rode, enjoy the 7 inversions, and prepare to have your eyes water!

Love Medusa! Great ride. Nice and smooth. One of the best coasters in Nor-Cal. But it has to be front row for the full experience.

THIS WAS AMAZING! The first time you go on it is a bit scary but after that, you want to go on it forever! I went on it 5 times when I was there and I never regretted it once. The initial drop might be a little scary because it makes your stomach hurt at that part because of the high pressure of 4.2 Gs. Its awesome overall! I recommend the front seats. :D

Great ride! Not too much of a thrill but it does the trick. No line when we went in January on a Sunday

Definitely worth the money spent. We went on a Monday there were barely any lines for the rides. Pack food and leave in the lockers outside the entrance so you dont have to pay the crazy amounts they want for their food. Most rides were open. Medusa was probably our favorite and Kong our least favorite.

Amazing ride experience. I almost pass out on my first ride but then I did this ride for total 11 times and it was amazing. Its better than even superman ride which is too short for just around 30 seconds.
