Mediterraneo - Restaurant in Náousa, Greece
It always makes me happy as a customer to see the owner and the personnel of a business being so passionate about their job. They paid attention to every detail; the decoration, the cozy atmosphere, and of course the dishes. I found tuna kebabs really delicious and the chocolate ganache heavenly tasty. If you really want to enjoy your lunch/dinner and have a nice time with your friends, I totally recommend this restaurant.
Probably the nicest restaurant/bar of Naoussa, right next to the sea. Locals appreciate here the fresh sea products, but foreign travellers feel extremely welcome. This is also the best location to appreciate the sunset.
Stavros was our waiter, he was very very kind. We went at the very end of the season (end of October), and many other restaurants were already closed. We chose Mediterraneo on a whim, and Im so glad we did. The fried squid was seasoned with some salt, pepper and green onions, the sauces were very tasty. Like another reviewer said, this was the Greek experience I was looking for!
My new best restaurant in Naousa. I am spending 4 months per year in Paros and I am very happy to have found this new gem. Make sure you try the lentil salad, lamb roll and tomahawk. Amazing cocktails, make sure you get the spicy margarita. Many thanks to the host Nicoletta for the amazing experience. Definitely coming back next year!!
Lovely restaurant, friendly and great food. Thank you great evening
Ordered the White Sea bream and Shakshouka. Everything tasted great! Highly recommended.
One of Paros, Naousa best seafood restaurants. I ordered white Sea bream and Shakshouka with sausage. It was all delicious! Totally recommend it
Thank you axel and nikoleta for the most delicious food we had in Paros!!
Lovely restaurant with great service. There are so many options in the area and we randomly picked this one. Glad we did.
That was great!! Amazing people great food amazing ambiance.Thank you axel and nikoletaThat was the best
Great food, nice location on the water, reasonable prices. Came recommended to us by our hotel. Ordered the hummus with pita, risotto with pesto and calamari, and fish special.
10/10 friendly waitress and a really nice view from the Port.. ambiance 10/10 ♥️
We had grilled fish (sooooo deliciousand shrimp linguine (absolutely amazingand we enjoyed the late afternoon here. Waitress was so kind and fun. Loved the interior too!
We love the new menu and decor! We eat here every year, and the younger generation is taking it to the top. You are met with people who really love what theyre doing in a great environment and location on the marina. (Nothing like a French and Greek team combination in the kitchen and front of house. Delicious and traditional dishes are elevated to a higher level. I cant remember everything Ive tried, but this is a sampling: Taramosalata with house made chips, lamb roll in filo, lentil salad, summer pasta, carpaccio, chicken souvlaki, moussaka (dreamy bechamel), the best-prepared mussels in broth and grilled sardines. Simple things like their pita bread and french fries show the thought put into every item. Good cocktails, too! Have a Paloma to start and the delicious chocolate squares to finish, and everything else in between.
A real pleasant surprise, the only place we could get in with no booking. Amazing food - highly recommend the Tuna Carpaccio and the Createan pasta.
Nice restaurant in the west end of Naoussa port - had the sea bass special which was delicious and the fried sardines. Would come here for the sea bass again!
Great food and service! Stopped in the first place we saw after a long day of travel and everything was delicious. We got the cheese plate, imam main course (eggplant with onions and spicesand shakshuka. Highly recommend!
We had an early dinner here, looking out onto the boats in the harbor. The service was great, the Greek white wine we chose was very tasty, and the food was really good. The lentil salad with halloumi and the grilled fish were two of my favorite dishes of our entire trip to Greece!
Service wasnt great, the portion sizes are small and their calamari is frozen and we found it to chewy. We didnt eat the calamari and they took it off the bill without any fuss. The flavours in the other dish we had we great though. *Contrary to their below reply, we did eat at their restaurant and have the bank statement to match.
Very delicious food!!!
The Foods excellent, sooo tasty! My friend group and I enjoyed every single bite of the things we ordered. Credits also to the staff, very smiley and pleasant people.Definitely recommend this place 👌
My wife barely spoke to me as she was consumed with devouring her lamb chops. Easily our best meal in Naousa!
For anyone that wants to experience the love from locals, this is the place! Had a traditional dish, which was amazing and came recommended from the server - a dish that he explained is typically made in the homes of the locals yet fading away from the restaurant scene. And to top it off the best chef came out to deliver our food and found out the secret of their octopus, served like NO WHERE ELSE…! A MUST try!!!! Best dinner experience I’ve ever had and if you respect local culture and good respectable people, this IS your place!
Sad experience: rude staff, food not very tasty. We came here with three friends and won‘t recommend. The staff are brash, unfriendly and bossy. Food was substandard. Zucchini balls burnt and raw inside, Lentil Salad was watery and had a bitter taste, the beef salad tasted farinaceous. Lambchops overgrilled. After this experience we skipped desert as we had enough of that bossy waiter. Maybe they find it difficult to deal with the crowds of high season…
Rude people. I was looking for a table. They are desorganizes and spoke low educated words.Avoid the place!!!
The food was okay and one waiter was nice, but the prices were not worth it. I asked for just a little bit of salad with the fried feta and they gave me a bowl of lettuce without vinegar or oil and charged 6€ for it (receipt said it was 1/2 salad). Also, many waiters waited our table and only one of them was friendly. Cannot recommend.
Amazing food! Different kind of fishes and meats to choose. Mezzes, greek food and a fine touch from the french chef Axel. He explains us the dishes and recommend us what was best for our necessities. Super recommended!
I can only recommend this special place! The food is simply amazing, the staff are professional and lovely which create a relaxing environment and a lovely service!Perfectly located to have a glimpse of the Greek culture which is now mixed with the French one… For the curious just ask to speak with the Chef!!
Marvellous food and very friendly staff. I’ve been there few times during my stay either lunch and dinner. Reasonable prices considering the quality of the food served and the fantastic location. A must go!
We loved Mediterraneo and would definitely go back the next time we visit Paros. The atmosphere, service, and food were fantastic. Highly recommend eating here for lunch or dinner while you visit Naousa.
Overpriced wine (charged 12€ for a 7€ house wine). Squid was over cooked and under seasoned. Overall very disappointing
Great place, very nice decoration, great food and cocktails!worth visiting
Used to be a great place, but thanks to a wild surge of American tourists, prices have gone wild and quality went down. Sad but not surprising. (I’m French and I know what great quality can be, sorry)
Nice environment. The rib eye (30 days dry agedwas one of the best I’ve ever eaten! Good job guys!
One of the best restaurants in Naoussa. The recipes are elaborated and very tasty. Everything is reminding of Mediterranean vibes and the staff is very kindly.
Had a delicious final dinner here. It was a bit of a chilly night and they only had a table available outside so I wasnt sure but decided to stay and so glad I did. I was provided with complimentary bread and a delicious beet garlic dip. To follow I had a Greek salad with the local soft cheese and the special of the day - fried red mullet with vegetables. Everything was so yummy. As soon as a table became available inside the staff kindly moved me. No pressure to leave a tip but because all the staff had been so wonderful was happy to. What a great way to end my first trip to Paros.
Huge portion of pasta, but its not very good. The seafood is fresh and many locals come here as well.
One of the best restaurants to find in Paros. First of all, the food is great. Quality ingredients, good cooking, good looking and tasty. Very tasty.I really enjoyed it! A lot of choices, a great menu, and great service.Be sure to ask for looking at the fresh fish. It comes grilled with vegetables. Its not on the menu, but this is what you come for in a restaurant like this. (the fish in the photo is a fish I saw, then sent for grilling, then ate).
Nice food, but staff a bit rude to me. Btw fair price for seafood
well below average. price should be cheaper given the service and food quality. nice staff but incompetent. magazines should beware their generous unsubstantiated reviews simply because it isnt good. and the display of hanging dead octopus is disgusting to watch.
On the sea front with lovely sunset views. Service was good and quick. Food was only ok, the octopus was so rubbery, you could throw it on the floor and it would bounce back up on your plate! The mains were nicer which recovered the meal from being terrible to ok.
This restaurant didn’t seem like much when we first arrived in Naoussa, but after 3 weeks of trying almost everything around, it was the only taverna that delivered quality, simple, fresh food and very friendly service on a constant basis. Ask about the daily specials, usually very yummy home-cooked meals!
Ive been this place 3 times in the last week. I am very pleased with: prices service and the food. Highlight for me, next to the fish is the giant beans 😍. Personally i definitely prefer smaller family run restaurants like this than the big popular touristic traps in the center
Nice and quiet location on the side of the port, with views to the boats and beautiful sunset. Not as loud as the other restaurants in Naoussa. Good variety of different foods in the menu but not too many to make choosing difficult. We ordered the smoked cheese in filo as an appetizer which was different from most restaurants as it did not have feta and honey. Still good but wouldn’t order again. The chicken was very good and so was the sauce, the fries were dry and crunchy but mushy. The pasta was very good for Italian standards and the best we’ve had in Greece so far. Dessert list wasn’t exhaustive and didn’t order anythingfinal price was 40 euros (for twoincluding a glass of house wine (good).Definitely would recommend this place given its price and different vibe from most other restaurants here.Takes amex.
The bread was very stale (still cost money). The octopus was very fresh however it was grilled to rubber, it was literally like a rubber band. Octopus should be slow grilled but this one was rushed, you can tell. It wasnt even seasoned properly, if there was a bit of olive oil, itd be tolerable. The moussaka was decent. Wouldnt come back for sure, prices and quality is not the best in town. Service was good though.
Excellent restaurant next to the marina. You can see the octopus hanging on the line, ready for dinner. Superb food and great service, we made two visits. Highly recommend the grilled octopus.
The most yummy seafood pasta I have ever eaten in Greece. Very nice sea view.
Fantastic seaside seafood resto in Naousa, Paros, Greece. The freshest octopus I have ever had (and Ive had manyas it hangs outside the restaurant. Favab beans w/spinach, fish roe spread and bitter greens rounded out my offering. Prices very reasonable to boot. Friendly service and great view of Harbour. A must visit it you are in the part of the world!
Nice seaside resteraunt with above average seafood and service. However some items were not fresh, the fried calimari in particular smelled very old and fishy, also the steamed muscles were not fresh, the portion was very small and about 1/3 of the muscles were empty or did not open. The pricing was mot bad for a tourist resteraunt. There is no parking close by.
Cheaper than other sea food place in the area. Great tasting sea food. You must order the calamari here. Also, fantastic view of the harbour.
