If you are one of those guys like me, who love pizza, Mediterraneo restaurant inJunction mall is the place to be.Their pizza is authentic Italian, really nice!!

Pizzas were too good

One of the oldest italian restaurants in Nairobi. Good pasta selections. The meat dishes have greatly improved since my last visit

We loved it. Wonderful new years treat and their pizza was so amazing! Didnt snap any pictures unfortunately (lol after tasting their food, I forgot all about it), but I still recommend highly! 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just my opinion. Everything was not bad but pasta was overcooked and pizza and tiramisu were not very Italian. I couldnt taste mascarpone cheese in the tiramisu. Too many mosquitoes outside.

The food was surprisingly good, have had a number of issues with Mediterraneo in the past. To be honest I think it is as simple as they cant coup with big groups, more than 8. If youre a couple or a family of 4 - 6 well worth a visit. The only reason I cant score 5 is the staff. They have always had an issue with staff that are so incompetent and really just dont care. If they actually invested in some good staff they could be one of the best Italian restaurants in Nairobi, sadly till they do that they will never be my first, second or even third choice.

Hire reviews.It’s a high end dining place. The price reflects it, the deco tries too and the service doesn’t bother.The are several places carrying this name brand and I have been to all. The only thing constant is the price, the bread and the pizza. The rest you could as well toss a coin.The last one I went to in westlands at 9-West building doesn’t have a pedestrian path to enter. You must walk through the dusty noisy Matatu stage to get to the behind car entrance literal go in like a car. I asked why that way I was told the gate for walking is only open during office hours. I thought they were a restaurant?The food is good but at that price I know several Italian restaurants in town with better service and well kept clean napkins.It’s not a disappointment because it has bad service but it’s disappointing because it pretends to have better service.Did I mention that they were busy watering the plants and cleaning the tables... why During dine time.I would still recommend but leave your critical eye at home, and enjoy.

The standard of food never changes. I love that. The Apple pie dessert is too good!! Waiters should up their game though.🙄

The food and cocktails were amazing. The service was amazing with friendly staff. The place is good for groups and the staff will set up as you wish. Youre better off sitting outside if youre in a group to avoid displeasing other customers. I liked the starters and the menu selection. Wine selection was extremely limited though.

They have an amazing bread basket and pizzas are mouthwatering! Great wine selection. Restaurant is usually warm, beautifully furnished and cosy. Good for private meals or small family dinners.

The interior is beautiful I also love the semi outdoor sitting. The wait staff is very friendly and polite.

Terrible awful place. Over priced and definitely not worth the cost of dinner. Chef tried to fob us a different fish to one we ordered. Fish smelt and tasted awful. Would never go there again.

The food was amazing and the waiter Ruto( I thinkwas very professional and still kept the mood very light with his sense of humour. I would definitely recommend this for a romantic, friendly or a business setting.

Nice ambience, lots of customers, good waiters, sufficient parking space if you drive there. The food: I ordered a quick pasta with prawns and it wasnt tasty, it was really bland! I struggled to eat it. we went as a group so its possible my colleagues enjoyed theirs. When it was time to oay I had to leave early and the slim young lad at the pay desk/cashier was really rude. I asked him for a separate receipt so I could pay and leave as I had to be elsewhere and he insisted that because we came as a group he cant give me a separate receipt. The way he said it, so nasty. He was just being unnecessarily difficult, rude with an attitude that stank and at the end gave me a receipt and I paid because I made it clear he had to - this took over 10 minutes. He needs some basic customer service training before he is the face of your restaurant!

It is one of the best Italian restaurants in Nairobi! My husband is Italian and we are never disappointed by the food, its absolutely delicious. Today we had an excellent sea food risotto!

Where to start! From the cleanest of washrooms to the service to the food. The list is endless. The service is actually 5 star. If possible I would give it a 6 star. Its a nice place to hang out as a family or taking your Loved one. Hope you enjoy. Just go find out for yourself🤗. Plus the menu has a wide variety of everything.

Amazing place! Amazing food! Especially the outdoor sitting area. Was there December 17 2018 for a birthday and I was served to my expectation. The waiters did a song and a decorated dessert for my girlfriend. Ann the restaurant manager organised it all and Nzomo served us wonderfully. Well be here often

Getting the exact location is a bit of a hustle mainly because theres no sign indicating the restaurant itself. Went in circles for about 5 minutes looking for it.That aside its very fancy. Such an upscale place. Service impeccable. As soon as I walked in I was asked a table to accommodate how many and if I prefered outside or inside. All the menus were handed as soon as I sat down.The food was amazing, we both had their pizzas and it was very tasty. Enough cheese, the toppings were generous. All the flavors game together so well...The drinks menu could do with a bit of expansion... Otherwise was a pleasant experience

Was here for the October/November Nairobi pizza festival. Their food was amazing. The ambience...great! Not usually crowded so its ideal for dates. Id totally come back here.

Always top with the food. Not stingy at all. Portions are enough... (a little much for somebut you will leave there well fed. The starters are awesome especially anything with shrimps 🍤 in them... Yummy yumm. The salad... Oh boy... I was spoilt fir choice.Loved it

Director was very rude when we complained about half cooked pizza, we were told off by him that we are complaining bcoz we want free pizza...We go there regularly but this first time such a behaviour....Think twice before going as they dont care about the customer anymore..

They have the best pizzas in town and good ambience. Food is also generally good and the interior decor is fascinating!

Best pizzeria in town. Very classy and cozy, serving delicious open fire pizza. Try their one-metre pizza. Affordable and quite yummy; best for a group of friends.

Ordered cold coke, caprese, gnocchi with tomato souce, and a cafe. Coke was warm, the serviced ice was mainly too big to enter the glass. To take order for food, the waiter talked from behind me. I asked him friendly if he cant stand that I know who I am talking to. Ok, he changed position to beside me. Ordered. The caprese was mainly morzarella, but I found some pieces of tomato too. The gnocchi and tomato souce was really good, liked it very much. The cafe was good too.I liked the place on the balkony. I was allowed to smoke there, outside, on the balkony. After a behaviour training of the guys and after they checked real Italian salats, 4 stars are possible. Yeah, and after they are keeping enough coke cold.I dont want to be missunderstood. When I am in a bush bar, I dont care about anybodies behaviour. But when I am in a Italian restaurant I want to see the people I am talking to. I paid morw than 3000Schilling.

Its a great restaurant. Upscale place and the food is delicious. Though the portions are huge so if you have a petite appetite then I suggest you could take it slow with the food you may order. Other than that the place and food ate both AMAZING!!!

A very sad experience considering the beautiful set up. We sat for more than 30 minutes before even being handed a menu. Food took another one and a half hours to arrive. I do not recommend the rack of lamb to anyone. Some of us asked for the T-bone steak prepared medium to well. Four orders came raw. We asked to speak to the manager. The lady seemed less bothered with our complaints and did not even offer an apology! Service is zero!!! Your downfall.

Simple and classy restaurant set in the beautiful 9 west building. Amazing food. Decor is simple and elegant. Loved my visit... even thought of moving to one of the banks in the building so I get an opportunity to eat there more often :-)

This place has great pizzas and Lasagnas. Very tasty and incredibly fast. The waitress are so friendly that with the tasty aroma from the kitchen they make you feel like you are at your moms house. Love it. I would like to thank the owner of an indian restaurant on the same side of the road for recommending this place.

We were looking for a nice hearty meal before our attempt of mount Kenya and this place hit the spot. Apart from the lights going out every so often, the food was great. I tried the arrabbiata which was very tasty. The service was excellent.

I picked the salad with crispy lettuce pears walnuts parm ham and parmesan cheese. Light and very delicious. Beautiful deserts but expensive compared to the salad so I had a cappuccino. We sat upstairs in the open. Friendly service. Cozy atmosphere with antiques. Clean toilettes.

Ordered a simple pasta dish and it was over cooked, poorly seasoned and had the texture of mashed potatoes.The manager offered another dish which I declined. My girlfriend had the lobster and avocado. The dish was not seasoned, poorly presented and was nothing more than a few slices of avocado with frozen shrimp that were micro waved.Upon paying the bill the manager stood at our table and counted the money as if he were trying to intimidate us.Our experience went from bad to worse with the managers inexperience and arrogant attitude.This would be a great place to start a restaurant!
