Jousting, horsemanship & falconry plus a 4-course, utensil-free meal served in a castle-like space.
Its a super fun night for a group. Food is decent but certainly not gourmet. The horses steal the show. Its sort of one of those places that once you have been once you likely wouldn’t go again unless you had some folks from out of town to take.
The red knight was great! We always enjoy the trip to Medieval Times. Weve been to Med Times in 3 states, California,Texas and New Jersey so far and plan to visit more! Def recommend!
This place is fun. I really enjoyed celebrating my birthday here. Quickly, the drinks are reasonably priced. If you are a wine drinker it is best to buy the bottle for $25 because a glass of wine is $11. The vegan option was really good and it comes with forks and spoons. They normally want you to eat with your hands.. The chicken, potatoes and corn are pretty standard. The highlight is the atmosphere and the service. Watching the people perform and the crowd going crazy is really fun. Also paying the gratuity up front makes it much easier.
The food was actually VERY good and so much! Very filling. The staff was amazing the show was undeniably magical! The adults and kids all got involved with cheering and shouting. The cast/crew made it a point to face every direction so everyone could see, they threw flowers to the audience and the queen even entered the audience! I will definitely be going back!
Somehow I felt like savage but it’s fun to watch🫠. Audience went way too hyper that I thought the knights were about to kill each other🥹🥹 My team lost. The whole experience was awesome. U can also buy real sword etc stuff from there. There’s a way to go from nyc and it’s easy, just google it.
It was perfect, I loved every second of it. The extra money I paid was worth it.food, entertainment, staff, everything was good. Im very much into medieval times and this was just enough, not too much, not too little. The knight threw me a flower also.
What a great show! If you’re looking for a fun date night or want to hang out with some friends. Eat decent food and have drinks while watching some live jousting, Medieval Times is the place for you. Haven’t been in years but the location is updated, taking credit cards for almost everything from drinks to merchandise. Sadly no t shirts but we did get some cool flags and great souvenir cups that light up. The show is exactly 2 hours long from your showtime and is incredibly organized from entrance to exit. Ample parking and a quick drive in from the GSP.
Amazing, fantastic, beautiful show! Extraordinary! Staff are attentive, polite, respectful, etc.The food was delicious, meat tender and flavorful as well as the cake. I will come back! We really had so much fun!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! Awesome food too. Still thinking about the dragons blood (tomato soup). Great staff and show. Super worth it♡
It’s completely different and fun filled experience with the show and dinner. The food was okay and I would recommend to try it once. They could little more performance by adding a joker or magician to engage the crowd.
We had a great time cheering for our knight. This dinner and a show thing has been solid for decades - Ive been coming here since I was a kid. As an adult I can appreciate the falconry more, but there are plenty of horses and jousting as well. I appreciate that they have plot between the knights and actors, and kids love getting to meet the actors between the shows. Plus there are a ton of non-kitchy souvenirs to buy if youre into that. (Im into that. And the food is delicious, as always. (Im still a kid inside and love that you have to eat with your hands.)I also appreciated that they had an empty seat between each party for Covid precautions. We had plenty of room, which was really nice!
Hark! Every peasant and noble of the land needs to check out thee Medieval times at once! Food and drink were surprisingly good! Great for equestrian or history nerds. The knights and squires were professional and well trained. What are you waiting for, gather thy party and set off for the quest of a lifetime (for one night at least).
It was an amazing experience. Went to celebrate my daughter 6 birthday. She was enjoying the show so much, that not even half way through the show. She turned to me and said, I want to come again. Everyone had smiles on their faces in regards to the servers. Now as for the food, it was amazing but be prepared you get no utensils. They server you one at a time. They first server tomato soup. Then after everyone has been served in your section, they come around with garlic bread. And the process repeats. The chicken is next, which is a well seasoned half a piece of chicken. Now on to the sides, half of a baked potato and corn on the cob. But this time they said there was a corn shortage. So we received BBQ kielbasa, which was amazing. There are different servers that come around offering to get you alcoholic beverages, which are not included with the meal. You must pay separate for them, and I believe theyre a bit pricey. But if you dont partake in that you get regular drinks with your meal, two servings to be exact. At the end of the meal you get desert and a choice of coffee or tea as well, pretty cool. Now on top of all that our knight won so that made it that must better. A great experience all around, must try at least once. Cant wait to go back.
Fun place to bring the family or coworkers for dinner or team building. Great show, interactive with spectators. A bit on the pricier side but well worth it. Food is pretty good too.
This place is such a UNIQUE and wholesome fun experience for all ages !! Definitely worth going to.Ambience: An absolute above and beyond experience: from the exterior castle tower to the interior design with many photo opportunities with props and benches all over, it really creates a fun environment for the medieval experience. When you enter the large main hall, there are so much quality merchandise from armories, collectible swords, glowing swords, maiden and floral crown/veils, lots of lore (faerie/dragon/dungeontypes of merch with chess sets and figurines as well. Tons of things that many can buy!Dinner and Tournament: worth every freakin penny! My friends and I are about late 20s-early 30s and we had a blast. The audience is a range of children and also young and middle adults; birthdays and celebrations of all kind, which they announce if you tell them you’re celebrating something, from bachelorettes to children’s and 30s-40s birthday. It’s so great to see an experience that everyone gets into and enjoys ! The actors and horse handlers do such an amazing job putting their all in for a show. The queen and chancellor host the show from a dais above. It’s about a 2 hour show while they serve dinner. Dinner comes out at a great pace, with enough time to enjoy drinks and time to digest while you are entertained by a great show! You are designated colors in your section and cheer for your knight to win the tournament ! It’s all great fun, especially with a full Saturday night crowd.Service: We tipped so much because of the amazing service everyone provides. Our “serf”er was great, making jokes and providing fast and efficient service with getting the dinner and clean up at a great pace. They also have extra merch and bar hosts going around to make sure you are good with your orders without having to get up during the show. The dinner is really yummy actually, and seasoned well despite how simple it may seem. It filled me more than enough and paired well with our many alcoholic drinks.I think all the workers go above and beyond to serve everyone, even while calling them all ‘lords and ladies’. The actors for the tournament put on such a great entertainment as well!Sanitation: F such a large venue, everything is very well kept. No overflowing trash cans, bathrooms are pretty tidy, and the space everywhere is very clean and spacious with no trash around.Highly recommend this place for a unique and fun experience!
We had so much fun at this place. You will most certainly have a blast with your kids. They cheer, laugh, scream in awe with the amazing performance of the staff. The horses also steal the spotlight. The food is pretty decent too. You cant go wrong here.
Awesome adventure with dinner and a show included. The green knight was awesome and my princess was very pleased with the experience. The Queen was a very gorgeous woman and the staff were the best. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting such an awesome experience and the food was great. I truly recommend this place and I will definitely return soon.
Fun and entertaining experience. We had a lot of fun.. could use a little more crowd participation but overall great. Food and drinks were good and the prices for merchandise was fair. Was given a birthday shout out so that was great too. Will return
This place is a gem! A super cool and fun experience at the medieval times! The event is about two hours long and very historical. The dinner is chicken. And the chicken is cooked and seasoned well! The show is well made and it’s entertaining for kids and adults.
What an amazing show! I recommend it to everyone of all ages and they encourage you to cheer!Really really really good food.My family enjoyed it entirely.Go Yellow!!
Such an excellent, fun experience! The food was actually much better than I had anticipated. The tomato bisque was amazing, the chicken was moist, and the potatoes were perfectly seasoned! The show was so entertaining, and our knight (the red knight!really got the crowd into it and made it so much fun! Take note that they do not supply silverware, but you can request it from your server if you would like some. The alcoholic drinks are expensive, you can buy a whole bottle of wine for $25 which is by far the best deal! Overall, my family and I had a blast and definitely will be returning!
Had a great time. If you plan on taking pictures dont pay extra for the front row. But all in all we had a great time. Our server was awesome and the entertainment was great to watch.
Medieval Times is an entertaining show with a royal flair. From the pleasant staff greeting you as they hand you a paper crown to your champion knight tossing flowers to the crowd, the experience is fun, light-hearted and joyous. The food is surprisingly good too. I wish the sound system was better and some of the hoaky fight moves are a little much at times, but all the little bits add to the overall wonderful event.
Total fun family experience. Great for equestrians. Lots for the kids, a bar for adults, and dinner with no flatware. There are coupons for upgrades out there, but not sure of the upgrades make the experience any better. These pics were from front row. Up higher is likely to be better.
What a fantastic, thrilling time. A two hour dinner show-tournament that was entertaining. Great gift shop and bar area. Loved it.
Lots of fun from the minute you get there . Great food , Show was amazing, the battle between the knights jousting and sword fighting was fantastic. For a experience that you will always remember. Where adults become kids again. I would say a must go to experience. Great thing to do if your out of state tourist and visiting NYC put this place on your list. 20 minutes from NYC in New Jersey.Get there 30 minutes before the show. Last but not least many bathrooms no waiting on line and clean
This was my first time here. The show was so much fun! I brought my daughter who is 6 and autistic and our waiter was incredibly attentive and accommodating. My daughter loved the animals and the action and lights! I didnt know how she was going to react but she loved it! They even offered ear plugs to help her with the loudness. The food was good and the entire experience was great! I will be returning!
Very fun & exciting experience! Brought my 8 year old, 12 yr old and 2 yr old and everyone had a blast! Lively show, good food and tons of photo ops. The knighting ceremony is worth it and made my sons day! A lil pricey, but a once in a while special treat or celebration its worth it! Made lasting memories!
An amazing experience for both adults and kids alike! The viewpoint you see is from the Queens Royalty package (which is basically an extra $25 per ticket); you can check the FAQs on their website to see what it includes, but I felt it was money well spent. The food was surprisingly delicious (not pictured is the tomato soup, garlic bread, and mini sundae), and it was filling. Beers were ok, but kinda lame (to each their own... I opted for the Coors Light). Overall, I would definitely recommend MT as a date night, birthday celebration, or just a night out with the family. I went to the 8pm show on a Saturday, but it didnt feel packed. Get there early, since the line starts to get long about half an hour before doors open.
Had a great experience. The cast were engaging, the fights were well choreographed, and the food was good too. Great to get back to eating our hands. We sat in the red/yellow section and our Knight won!
First time ever going here and I absolutely loved it! Everything was wonderful from the staff,to the food and drinks. The show was great you really get into to it. Makes you feel like a kid again honestly! Will be going back again!
We went for my sons birthday. We had VIP status, which included photos, cake, and a knight ing. Mingling with the other spectators, some of whom were dressed in costumes. We had drinks, saw the queen and purchased fun light up weapons..😆 the show was spectacular, as always. ( we have been here more than onceWe were rooting for the red knight, alas he was killed..😔. The Falconer was very good, and of course the horses were magnificent. The food was as expected, good soup, chicken and potato, but the corn on the cob🌽 was quite bad. The server forgot our cake but did get it for us take home. All in all a place that is highly recommended, but if you are going with kids, bring alot of money for souvenirs made in China. The light up weapons were $20.00 each. I gave mine to a little boy on the way out. The drinks are also very expensive and a soda which was filled to the absolute top with ice, gave you about 3 good sips. 👍 👍👍👍👍
Where do I start? First time visiting and I loved it. I was fed, entertained and taken back in history ⚔️ We got there with 20mns to spare before our show, got some goodies for the kids and some drinks for adults. They have mugs you can take home so cool🍺 service was great, and the show was 10/10 Definitely coming back!
WOW! Is all I can say! What I expected going on and what I experienced is two different things. We all remember seeing the commercials for Medieval Times when we were kids and its something that I wanted to experience as an adult. From the moment you step into the place, Youre amazed. They speak in old medieval English, I was knighted by the queen, My wife and I had our picture taken and There are several souvenir shops, even with real swords. Perfect place to bring the family. Its not just for kids. They have a full bar! They have themed houses based upon the ticket you purchased. The food was EXCELLENT! Definitely worth the time and money. Will definitely go back and take my nephew next time.
The first time I had heard of this place was actually from one of Jing Carry’s old movie and I had always wanted to go visit ever since! My hubby decided to give me a surprise for my birthday yesterday. He brought us here and you have no idea have happy I was the moment I saw the castle. The whole place was amazing! I felt like I was back in medieval time! I was totally in the role. Staffs there are professional and friendly! There is no awkwardness of being there at all! I felt like I was part of the world! The show was fun and exciting! All the actors and actress are so awesome! The food was pretty good to. There is soup, meson course, and dessert. Drinks are served as well, but you could also go to the bar for alcohol drink as well! The food was a lot and I had to use the to go bag that they gave to bring home my left overs. I had a really fun time. So did my kids! They still believe everything were for real.
Great experience - everyone put on a great show and were very friendly and patient with the kids. The show narrative was a bit hard to understand though (speaking a bit too fast). The place is well organized and the food was great.
If you’re looking for utter disappointment, bad customer service and terrible food..THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!!This place is awesome!! Everything is very well ran and the customer service is awesome!! The crowd and colors your with give you a sudden sense of belonging. It’s definitely worth the price, and get the VIP.
I had my nephew visiting town and since he doesnt speak perfect English, this is one of the shows I thought he would enjoy the most given its a visual show, not so much of a story. Dont get me wrong, theres a story but pretty straight forward plus I was narrating to him. Ill suggest you to arrive to the place 45 minutes before the show starts. Also I must say service was pretty incredible, everyone very attentive and sweet. Oh and I was really not expecting much of the food but I was so wrong! Everything was exquisite! The chicken was very well seasoned as well as the potatoes. Was really good! I enjoyed and probably would visit again. Great show to take to someone who English is not their first language as its a visual show more than anything.
Fun, fun, fun. You should feel free to stomp your feet and feast! The food is surprisingly delicious. No forks or knives ( unless you ask). Story telling feels compelling, cheer for colored faction.Pricey ticket, but by the end of the night you would have forgotten how much you spent.
Let me tell you how much my family and I enjoyed this place. My mom is now elderly and she has a wheel chair. They let the elderly go first before the rest of the people trample over you. The waiter was great and a pleasure to speak with. I would recommend this place. Also, the bathrooms were so so clean. The food was great.
This experience was nice and memorable. My husband and I tried Medieval Times Dinner to explore something new and exciting. We enjoyed the food and the tournament.
It is a beautiful experience, which you can come with the whole family. good show and food. But what I liked the most were the cocktails. It is definitely a place where I will return.
This is a great experience for anyone. I recommend buying tickets online and ahead of time (a few weeks before)The food is great (only thing I did not like too much was dessert, which was vanilla ice cream with caramel on top. Besides that the meal itself is very tasty. The service is great and the show is very entertaining. I recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before, the lines get long and the parking lot fills up. The stadium is bigger than what you expect 🙂 They had some distancing for Covid, which is good. I was so glad that they had hard working employees who helped you find your seat because it can get confusion. Will return in the future.
Now I understand why people in the past ate while they enjoyed the jousting! This was an unforgettable experience. I was already planning my next visit in the middle of the performances because I just needed to share this with everyone I know. They do not give you utensils unless you ask (because they want you to have the real medieval experience). You will get some merch for free “included in the price ticket”. The food was yummy, not five star material but it definitely tied in with the theme. Service was fast and very organized. The show was very entertaining and the staff made sure to excite the crowd and keep us all engaged.Amazing experience, family friendly, fun date night idea, will never forget it and will definitely return!!!!
I like Medieval times so much. Ive never been to the other locations but this one always has good food and great service. Everyone is really friendly, the bathrooms are clean, the show is great and the performers put their all into it. Id recommend this to anyone who likes fantasy, or renaissance fairs. Seeing the knights in action is always a good time.
It was nice experience, knights did a fabulous job and the horses were beautiful however if I have to pick then I liked the pirate voyage better.Food was served at the table and was fine. Servers were very courteous and nice.
Me and my kids had a blast it was great the staff was very polite and helpful the food &drinks were nice the show was magical & the actors performed magnificent it was a great experience and worth the trip I recommend going I would definitely visit again
A great family dinner show destination. Incredibly talented performers in the round. An interactive audience experience. Delicious food with vegan and vegetarian options. Hard working and helpful servers. This is the place to be.
Party of 9...and we all had a great time. Grab a cocktail beforehand. The show was very entertaining, however the good "fighting" was really only the last 30 minutes. Fun plot and solid acting. The food was surprisingly good...much better than expected. Definitely definitely bring plastic cutlery for you and kids if you dont want to eat the "mideval way" with your fingers. Give this a try!
I really enjoyed our visit. We were 6 adults, my 2 children and their wives. The show was entertaining, a bit predictable, but entering non the less. Dinner was good. Eating with your fingers was a little interesting for some in the group but we all enjoyed the dinner anyway. I have been here almost 18 years ago with my kids and I can say going with them as adults was a lot more fun! We drank out of our drink horns and had a blast rooting for the Black and White night. Cant wait to go back. I would recommend a visit. One last thing, they do sell adult beverages but you better be ready for the prices. It was shocking what they were charging. The gift shop was more reasonably priced than the beverages.
