-we drive from Brisbane to eat at your Broadbeach location.To be greeted with “we’re not open yet - either come back or sit down and we’ll get to you when we’re ready” is a comment we can’t and won’t walk past - Restaurants are struggling - I’m absolutely gobsmacked at this appalling rudeness and it’s not the first time - but is the lastWe were 10mins early

Great tasting food. Couldnt fault the service either. The very lovely waitress looked after us so well. Compliments to the hard workers in the kitchen as well.

Rarely do I go to the same restaurants three nights running. All be it, with different company and different choice of food each night. All served in good time and ever so plentiful. You won’t go hungry. Great quality food, cooked to perfection. The ribs were awesome. The garlic chicken skewers were mouth watering. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Sit outside with a bottle of good wine and enjoy the ambience as we did. You won’t regret it. And to our Spanish waitress, gracias.

Food and service are ok. The meat platter is enough for 4 Adults and there is a nice red on the wine list. The cake for desert is excellent, enough to warrant one for takeaway as well!

Love the food. Staff services are excellent. If you are a meet lover like myself, give the big share plate a try. If you are a vegetarian, you cannot miss the broccoli in entree section.Have a range of wine, we went with a good bottle of bubbly (cant remember the namebut perfect

We had a pleasant night, and our waiter was lovely, however, a little disappointed in the food. Perhaps it was what we ordered, but it didn’t resemble middle eastern food for us. We felt it had been altered for a bland palette. All the dips were basically yoghurt that had been tweaked, with the exception of the humus. I think we’ve been spoilt from living in the inner West Sydney with loads of authentic middle eastern food.Sorry to offend, just being honest.

The food gets a five star. Absolutely delicious. We had a high tea and everything was out of this world. Nice to have parking close by also. Good place to have a large group celebrate. Little bit hard to flag down staff for some extras. They were helpful once we had their attention. Nice location and nice decor.

one of the most disappointing restaurants i’ve been too. went into the restaurant and waited at the “wrong” counter to wait to be seated, staff ignored us. one lady came to check on us and told us we were at the wrong counter, and told us to move to the other counter. where we waited even more. eventually we were seated. waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive to the table. food was ok, but not worth the price. would not go back.

Staff are soooo friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming enhanced by music at an appropriate volume. The food was divine and the waitress’s recommendations were a delightful combo. Highly recommended.

There’s Middle Eastern food… and then there’s Mecca Bah. This place takes middle eastern food to a whole another level! First of all, we were a large group of seven who went to the restaurant without a booking. Despite being absolutely packed, we were accommodated quickly with a smile :The ambience of the place is beautiful. We ordered about 12-14 different dishes. Each and every one tasted absolutely mouthwatering! The service is unmatched. The staff truly care about your experience. Absolutely the best meal and overall dining experience we’ve had in a while. Highly recommended!

We had a dinner as a family with kids during the weekend, the place was so busy and service was too slow and there were two waitresses only. We had to wait for almost 30 minutes and then we called waitress ourselves from entrance. The male waitresses were friendly and apologized for what we experienced many times. However the lady waitress ignored us many times in purpose and when she served us she was placing plates rudely on our table as she had a personnel issue with us !!!The in-charge staff made it up and offered discount on our bill, however, we were really upset with overall service.Food was good , I would rate it 7/10 .

Fabulous! Great atmosphere and customer service. My only suggestion would be traditional Middle Eastern music to add the the atmosphere. Loved it!

While the ambience was quite lovely and the wait staff good natured and very pleasant, the Persian dumplings were not in the slightest bit authentic, arriving cold and tasteless. The trio of dips was a utter disappointment, Turkish bread was delightful however the dips themselves were disappointing. The chicken wings were Luke warm and dry. Won’t be returning due to the underwhelming experience.

Never disappointed by the quality of food. We have dined in multiple times with the atmosphere being very relaxed and the staff really lovely. We have also ordered for take away and the food is the same quality as in the restaurant. They are also very accommodating and is my go to for a delicious and flavourful, full tummy feed on the GC!

My Husband and I are here two weeks ago while we were on holidays and it was a great experience. Our entrees were excellent and a good portion, our mains were great and quick to come out. The food was also delicious with flavour! We went on a really packed night so the staff were really busy but that is at every restaurant you go to. Next time we visit were definitely going again :)

Food was really good although everything else was just a bit sloppy. Wine delivered to table dripping down the glass, waiting at the front to be greeted for some time with no “hi, we will be with you shortly’, table rocky and staff just super slow. I asked for a dessert menu and the same lady then proceeded to walk past the table 3-4 times and didn’t come back and ask. Ended up missing the dessert and leaving. Overall good food but Everything else was just a bit sloppy and disappointing.

Really lovely place for a quick bite, drink or a full meal. What I enjoyed most about Mecca Bah was the friendliness of the staff, coupled with the atmosphere it made it very warm and inviting. The food and drinks were lovely and I would dine here again.

Absolutely delicious! Really cool restaurant too, the style and decor was set up so nicely! Friendly staff, bread and trio of dips was fantastic and all the food we ordered was just amazing. Would 100% visit again 😊

Beautiful flavours and a lovely atmosphere.Our table shared the cauliflower, spiced meatballs, boureks, and signature platter with fattoush. Was a bit disappointed that some favourites have been removed from the menu.

Beautiful setting and food was delicious. The gluten free and cocktail options were delicious! Only disappointed was the front door hostess was very rude when we arrived and left; the waiters were lovely though!

Walked in at 6pm. 3 tables were seated .. 6 staff standing around. After 15 mins of waiting to order a drink we had to wave the wait staff over. My partner tried to order 2 beers...they were out of stock. I ordered the gluten free Mushroom pizza. It was obviously a bought-in pizza base...tasted like cardboard and was the most disappointing pizza Id ever tasted. Meatballs were very tasty. Overall very poor service and food.

If I could give 0 star it would be better!! The lady who was working there was very rude !! I was a tourist and I was very excited to try the Moroccan food in there but when I arrived to the restaurant the lady working there asked me how many people we need the table for and then she said oh sorry we are not open yet!! Actually they were open and the door was open too ! In google maps it show me they are open, it seems the lady doesnt like us !!

Meh. Wouldnt go again. Food was fine, nothing to write home about though despite the relatively high price. Chicken may have been undercooked my partner had a tummy ache later. I have iron guts so usually fine with anything. Borek were way small for price. Ambience inside nice but in semi alfresco tentish area where we were seated (after making reservations!Not beautiful. Felt like heater storage area. Initial drink order forgotten/not heard, wobbly table, waiter letting customer pick up dropped cutlery at another table (when the waiter caused it, they were right there), chewing gum, picking at food at bar, not seeing customers waving to get attention for 3 minutes despite 3 different waiters going past several times and never checking on us so had to get up to order dessert and coffee, payment at counter only. Only 1 waiter seemed like theyd had some experience or were trained at all. Was not overcrowded or understaffed, so that was no excuse. Not the service of the price they attach to the place!

AMAZING FOOD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND SHARING MANY DISHESThe food was so tasty and flavourful. Because there are so many delicious dishes, it’s definitely best to order many smaller plates to share between people. Staff were lovely and attentive and there was a large range of both food and drinks on the menu.only small issues were:1. kitchen closed at 9 - we did have a late booking though2. not heaps of bread with dips (that’s nitpicking though and you are able to order more)

Food wasnt as great as I had thought. Ordered Spiced Lamb Targine....unfortunately there was nothing spiced about it. It honestly tasted like something I cook a home in the slow cooker. My husband got the mixed kebab and enjoyed it. Might have been my choice in main but I certainly walked away disappointed for $165, I expected much better food which was full of flavour - Sadly I left most of it behind.

The vibe was great, loved the decor and setting of this restaurant. We ordered the cauliflower starter which was really nice. For our mains we ordered the lamb and chicken skewers. The chicken and lamb were both dry and chewy. The rice was still hard and undercooked, could have done with more steam time. The tabbouleh was also disappointing, it was soggy and swimming in juice.

We had a lovely experience at Mecca Bah. The Lamb Shish was a delight and was serviced at the table where it was smoked. So very tasty and tender

Friday night dating.Calamari is good.Lamb and chicken kebab are good but 2 for 42 dollars!!😥A little expensive.Food is good but just think it is not worth it.

Amazing middle eastern food. The share platter for 2 with fattoush salad was excellent. Good portion size. The bone marrow is juicy, and the spices on the lamb are memorable. Comfortable open air space and seating. Plenty on the menu to go back to several times.

Beautiful food, every single dish we had was delicious.Although we had to wait quite some time to get a table, the service is really fast and the staff are friendly & welcoming.

First time dining here on Saturday and it was great. The food was really delicious; its nice for the Northern end of the coast to get something different and of a high quality because it can definitely be hit and miss on this end of the coast! Our favourite dishes were the Trio of Dips, Halloumi, Prawns and Lamb Cutlets. The meatballs were great too, large portion though because theyre really big and meaty.The service was great and overall it was a great experience, well definitely be back.

From the outside it looks very stereotypical but once you engage with their staffs it was pretty warm place to spend your dinner time with your friends or family.Food is good but honestly if we would say this place is great restaurant rather than claiming it ad one of GC’s best place as the Middle Eastern restaurant.We love the vibe, the staffs, the food, but we want more authentic foods!

The rice(pelovwasn’t soft and properly steamed and cooked. The chicken was alright, the lamb had a tasty pomegranate graze but dry. Also overpriced but the portions of meat platter was good to serve 3 people at least.

Had some great food here on Friday night. Highly recommended if you are in a group to try a few dishes from the starter section. The lamb was my favourite. Also really good service

Yum! Food full of flavour, service great! There was a relaxed atmosphere and we really appreciated the comfy seating! Only downside is it’s pretty pricey, especially the cocktails but I’d still come back on special occasions as it’s worth it.

Mecca Bah is a place I just keep on going back to because I love everything about it! The vibe, food and customer service is fantastic. Roudy the manager looked after us he was very accommodating and make sure the night went smoothly for my birthday! We had marrakesh kiss and Turkish delight martini they were delicious, such good value! The Moroccan lamb pizza had so much flavour and the mixed kebab grill as cooked to perfection! I always have the Baklava which is good combination with Turkish coffee and such a large, generous portion! Mecca Bah is the best place for a delicious dinner, fun event or date night!

Food was amazing, staff were so pleasant and were also very proactive. My partner and I got the banquet (3 courseswhich tasted delicious and was also reasonably priced! I might add that the dessert can’t be chosen and it’s not listed on the menu but it’s Turkish delight and Baklava.I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family as it also has a great style and vibe.

Mix platter lets you experience all the great dishes at this joint. The lamb ribs are truly divine!

We had a table of 5 on a Wednesday night in November 2020. Never been here before. 2 bottles of wine and shared our meals family style. What a great place to enjoy tasty food with friends, fast service friendly staff and very efficient. The food was so interesting especially the short ribs and the Pizza with Lamb.

The food was amazing and difference types. I have to suggest the three course meal as you get to try many variety of entrees and main courses.

I love this place! The food is so delicious! The fresh, tasty salads, the meat platters with wonderful aromas and flavours. The staff helpful and courteous. Entertainment which was loud enough to be heard but not to drown out conversation. The price point is pretty good too. We will definitely return and encourage others to try it out. Oh yes, their icecream and Turkish delight is the best too - yum!

Wow wow wow. The food at this place was AMAZING! The ribs were cooked so well, the meat literally fell off the bone. The sweet potato chips and garlic sauce have to be my favourite, better than anywhere else Ive tried!! The cocktails were nice and service was great. Worth a visit, the service from every waitress was great including rescuing my from three other side of the street with an umbrella when a tropical downpour stated (the amenities are in a building across the mall). Started outside, the weather turned and then moved is in. The food had the potential to be a 5 star but just lacked the finishing with seasoning. We had the platter, lamb and chicken great, bone marrow surprisingly nice, beef ribs fell of the bone, interesting but too sweet and almost was a miss fit for the restaurant albeit middle eastern spices were apparently used, probably a better fit for the burger joint around the corner! Fatoush missed the mark, no flavour, tomatoes poor quality. I would give it another go.

Initially went in for the outdoor heaters - we were freezing. But were not disappointed with our chosen meal. Best sweet potato wedges EVER....waiter was happy professional obliging and went above and beyond to make us love our visit. Price was very reasonable. Happy customers.

Went to this restaurant for the first time. We arrived at just past 6pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant is already almost full, luckily I had a booking.Waited for a little while for the foods, which is understandable given that the restaurant was so busy. We ordered the hummus with spicy beef, grilled calamari and lamb tagine. I’m very impressed with the food. Absolutely delicious. The grilled calamari is particularly good, so TENDER.The service women is very friendly and professional.I would definitely come back.

Great service, tender chicken, happy ambience. Our group of 14 had a great time at Mecca Bah during a July evening. The service was prompt and friendly, the warm bread and dips as well as the falafels were fresh and delicious, and the chicken skewers with lentil rice, and tabouli amazing. Others had vegetarian pizzas and lamb skewers which were a bit too spicy. Prices were as expected in this touristy area but the place was so central and joyful, it was worth every cent.
