Food and service is very good,but soooo overpriced. Its a pub in an industrial estate in Dingley. They are 5 star hotel prices. $30 for an entree of 5 small scallops ??? Sorry I wont be coming back.

Great friendly service and atmosphere. Open at lunch time on weekdays which is great.Food is good but not out of the world. The extra $$$ you pay is for the ambience, presentation and the fine dine atmosphere.

Delicious 😋 and tasty. We had a mixture of things that we shared, starting with Black lip mussels, Salt and pepper calamari, slow Cook pork shoulder, Black Angus Eye Fillet. Very much enjoyed it all. Drink menu was outside, enjoyed the biscotti espresso martini. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ To this wonderful restaurantThe staff looked after us wonderfully. Thank you for making our dinner experience beautiful.

This looks from Boundary road to be a random roadhouse, with a lot of marquees in front. Then enter past the cured meat display and it reveals itself as a stylish restaurant with a very contemporary open atmosphere. Its refreshing to find ample vegetarian options for a largely meat-focused restaurant.The italian family-run business has well trained staff and good service. With excellent freshly made pasta and tasty wood fired pizzas, along with seafood and meat dishes. The pizzas were large enough for 2 people, but a little stingy - the menu notes basil, but we got just one leaf on each of our pizzas 🍕Youll find something for every taste. Unfortunately its quite pricey for what you get, and the back of Costco / industrial areas doesnt really justify the prices.

Perfect..as simple as that. We were guests to a 50th birthday event and I cannot compliment MFW enough. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted, directed to our area and asked if we would like a drink. Food was absolutely delicious, plenty of it and brought out in a steady stream with something for everyone. With all that said the best thing about MFW was the customer service from the friendly and super helpful staff. Food, service and overall casual but classy environment... Perfect.

Great atmosphere and staff but unfortunately the food and excessive pricing is a big letdown.This is the third time I’ve given this place a go and it will be the last. The first 2 visits were ok, but this one has turned us off for good.My partner orders Spaghetti Marinara at almost every Italian restaurant we go to.Last night she commented that this was the most expensive she’s ever had and also the worst she’s ever had. $45 and it was tasteless. And she said the seafood tasted like it wasn’t fresh. She gave me a small piece of fish to try and it definitely tasted like it was off or very close to it.The steaks are priced very high like a proper steakhouse - $85 here, $110 there - but the $70 T-bone I had was thin, overcooked and I’ve had better for half the price at other places.

This is probably the noisiest place Ive ever tried to have a meal and a conversation in. The food is average though the prices are high. We certainly wouldnt return or recommend it. The only positive was our waitress who was very attentive, friendly and apologetic.

Greeting at door was Rude. Service poor. Asked "What do you want to eat" not what would you care for? No drinks offered prior! wine was of average for price. Time to food service 40mins. Food, over priced and "Joe average standard." Discussion at table re food was unanimous, poor for standard. Overall a very poor experience. Would not recommend it to anyone and will respectively cann it to everyone. Would never go back; Who do you get to write the reviews the positive reviews?

On the way home to the country and had Guzman Y Gomez punched into googleMaps, saw meat flour wine on the side of the road and hit the breaks hard and turned around. Margaritas - perfection. Croquettes - out of this world. But the gnocchi.. absolutely no words.All of this accompanied by great service and a beautiful interior. 10/10 fam x

Came here for lunch recently been here several times before. Great huge menu. Had a carpaccio for entree was beautifully presented but was just ok for me. My friend had a mushroom risotto which was fantastic. I had a beef cheek agnolotti with an artichoke purée. It was enjoyable. The white chocolate apple crumble looked beautiful and tasted great. For me what lets this place down is the price. It is very overpriced. We had exceptional service by Renee. The waitress who delivered our pasta and risotto had forgotten to offer us the Parmesan & chilli. Renee spotted this mishap and within seconds rectified. They are lucky to have such a friendly proactive and professional staff member

Best Restaurant in the bayside area. My wife and I always go here when we can. The family have created a great venue for all occasions. We need charcoal smoked negronis back on the menu.

The Girl at the bar, I think her name was Bronteen, she was absolutely amazing! It was my first time and my partners visiting this restaurant and Bronteen made it an exceptionally memorable one! Her attitude from start to finish was immaculate and I wish for all staff in the world to have the exact same mindset that she does. She’s so active, fun, funny and extremely beautiful no doubt. If you’re reading this Bronteen, I absolutely love you! Please don’t change anything, from the little we got to spend with you.. you really made us feel connected! 🥰 the food was delicious, and all staff were so nice kind and was always checking up on us! Way over priced for what you get. Hubby & I were there a few weeks ago.1 beer each,I had ENTREE size baby calamari AND SIDE salad ( which only consisted of lettuce and apple)Hubby had mussels,and we had a dessert eachCoffee each$147.00Way way over the top for what we had, onsidering it was for lunch. wont be going back there again!

First time being here.. Nice ambience..very modern but for an Italian restaurant.. bit to modern for my liking but each to there own.. Pizzas were delicious.. glad they had Nduja.. Friends had steak and said they were ok.. . Another had Cotaletti.. Sorry but it was over cooked.. Tough and slightly burnt.. Nothing really different compared to other places now.. Not sure if I would go back.. Overall nice place and nice food..

Very friendly service, pizza is really fresh and cooking in the wood oven provides a really nice taste. Highly recommend the steaks which were cooked exactly as requested. We had a fantastic experience.

Great atmosphere and wait staff fantastic. Food very good and hot when served to table. Its very expensive though so not for someone on a budget. However would definitely go again.

The meat was cooked perfectly. We got the carnivore platter. Would of liked to of seen full sized sides with the price ($175but other than that it was delicious.Service was on point. They were very busy so I expected to wait longer than we did for our meals.Good wine list.Perfect evening!

The service was excellent, great atmosphere and a lovely venue.The food was average. Our entrees were good, but the mains were lacking for the priceyness of the menu.Also, we ordered a couple of red wine bottles, which were hot for red wine. The cocktails took a day and an age to arrive but were very good.We were told they werent busy that night; Id hate to think how long we would have waited on a busy night.

This place was incredible. One of the best steaks Ive ever had. Done exactly as I requested which has been a struggle here. Quite busy and loud, but well done.Definitely recommend.

Parking was convient and we were ushered to our reserved table.Embience is simple but table arrangement bit too close for comfort.Services professional and wait staff friendly, services with smiles.We ordered heaps of food and they came progressively..... they were fresh and well prepared.....We enjoyed completely and definitely will go AGAIN. Top quality and very unsuspecting restaurant in this part of town. We arrived without a booking and the maitre d very kindly gave us a table advising the time we had as the table was pre-booked. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and that really topped the night for us.We ordered the morton bay bug entree, pasta special, diavola pizza and small dessert board. Everything other than the entree was delicious! The morton bay bug was maybe overcooked and while visually well presented, we couldnt actually taste any flavours from the other elements on the plate. The green sauce was tasteless.The dessert board was very generous and could definitely serve 4 people especially if you had a good feed already.Well definitely be back to enjoy this wonderful fine dining that is most certainly on par with Melbournes top restaurants.

Have been here few times. Best italian restaurant in south east. They make their own fresh pastas. Was very busy on mothers day, make sure to book in advance on occasions. Narrow space between tables if you are on wheelchair or have a pram.

Highly recommended to anyone wanting to try this place out! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is amazing! Got the Wagyu porterhouse and it was perfectly medium rare, definitely will be coming back. 😁👌

Took a chance on booking this for my biz first ever team mini conference. The Mordialloc room was perfectly recommended for the size of our group. Perfectly set up. Service was great; Food was stunning; Coffees spot on. Well priced.Big shoutout to Nick who took the booking and made the process super easy. Also hands on on the day and super authentic. Thank you. Also Lottie first friendly face thru the door, and took the time to check in timely making sure we were all OK.Will be back again for future meetings.

If you are looking for authentic italian pizza this is the place. We went on a saturday night and despite being very busy the service staff were very attentive and the food came out promptly.

Amazing steak and atmosphere. Steaks were cooked perfectly, but the highlight of the evening was the dessert - a delightful creamy creation.

Great place for both a group dinner and couple dinner. Sat in the outside courtyard and that was great with the warmer day but with the new breezes coming in towards the night. Portions for the pizza were expected, pasta was a little smaller but it definitely had a lot of substance.Pictured is the Rigatoni and Prosciutto pizza. Pizza was the highlight.Parking within can be tight and limited room for movement, if you have a big car you may have issues.

Kate was our waitress for the evening. And she definitely deserves a pay rise after the service she provided! Absolutely outstanding! She was the nicest girl and fantastic at her job and making us feel welcome! Please tell her how great she is! The food was incredible and so delicious! I havent had a meal that great in a very long time.

Big portions, delicious food and a lovely venue! Staff were very attentive and polite too. We had pizzas, risotto and wine/beers, and the food was out promptly despite it being very busy. Definitely book ahead as it gets very busy and theres limited parking nearby. Both indoor and outdoor seating available, and would definitely recommend.

A very busy restaurant so make sure you book ahead. Despite being busy the service does not fall short. The staff is friendly and polite. The food is delicious and generous. In fact so good I forgot to take photos!!! They got tables for 2 and they’ve got long tables for larger groups. We were a party of 8 on a very busy Friday night. We had a great time. Was a super busy Friday night. Reserved a table for 4 and was quickly seated. The staff were swamped so it took a lil time for them to attend to us but smooth sailing from there on. Food was nice, and when the restaurant got a little quieter it was really a nice ambiance.

We had the chefs tasting board and mushroom pizza (had a fancier name on menuThe chefs board was delicious with calamari, eggplant chips, bruschetta and arancini and and with the matched aiolis they were suburb. I will rarely go past a mushroom pizza on menu especially when paired with truffles and this is one of the best I have ever had as it had a generous amount of mushrooms.It is a pricey restaurant, but you definitely get what you pay for and was happy with the quality.Our servers were particularly friendly and accommodating and answers all our questions.Will definitely be back!

Modern Italian restaurant located in the industrial part of Braeside that also does steaks. Quality of the meals was high, though it is on the pricey side.

Food was really nice, but kind of pricey (pricer than you would expect for what it was anyway). That said, I wouldnt have been all that phased by the price if the service was good, but it was not.Our waiter was pushy and very abrupt - for example when putting the pizza stand on our table (we ordered a garlic focaccia as an entree), instead of placing it in the completely empty table setting (we had a table for 4 people and only had 3the waiter used the pizza stand to push our drinks (and the other condimentsacross the table until we ended up picking up everything on the table to make room so the waiter could put the stand where he wanted to (on top of a glass). The waiter said nothing at all - before, during or after. No excuse me, thank you, nothing.The service was pretty much the same all night - short, abrupt, unfriendly - a very clear "hurry up and get out" kind of attitude which was really disappointing as the food and decor were otherwise really nice.

Delicious food, but with room for improvement. The chefs tasting board had excellent calamari which went quick, but the bruschetta was dull. The wagyu eye fillet was succulent and cooked perfectly, though the steak I had there last year was even tastier. The pistachio gelato was very nice but the hazelnut was a bit icy. The service was great, the waiter was always there when you wanted him. The room was noisy until the neighbouring tables left. The parking lot was full and the street parking required a short walk.

Food was delicious however service wasnt. Arrived on time as per reservations and waited 15 minutes for our table but we were warned that could happen.Was sat at stools - warning- Uncomfortable especially if you suffer back problems.Was very very busy so every now and then someone bumps into you.Food arrived. Delicious. But beware, plates will disappear before your eyes and without being asked if you are finished - food still in plates.Enjoyed the food. Service left a lot to be desired.Dessert was yummmmmmy
