Meadowlark Campground in Brandon

Warm and welcoming staff. Very clean bathrooms & showers. Well maintained grounds. Strong updated Wifi. The highway traffic noise is offset by the great location. What other campground can you walk to get breakfast at Timmies, Smittys, Humptys Subway, or Mc Ds ?

Fantastic service, Darlene is patient and wonderful. Quiet area, close to many amenities. Great spot to plan day trips to Souris, Sprucewoods, or Elkhorn. Very close to the Commonwealth Air Training Museum

Great price and great locations. Bathrooms very cleaned lots of space in the campsites. Free wifi and easy and quick to get a campsite. Only down fall is being so close to the high way you hear traffic all night long. But was awesome to have a picnic table at the site to use our portable grill on.

Great experience and nice stay with hot showers, water, dump station, and internet! I tried using the website for same-day booking but it didnt work so I called the #. Thankful I did because the ladies that answered were so kind. Upon arrival around 10 pm, we were welcomed with all the details including wifi. This campground was everything I couldve asked for with fair prices. Perfect for dogs too with lots of grass area. Thank you!@cameraonyou for more ❤️

Great facilities and friendly staff. Only lose a star because tenting area is so close to highway 1 and noisy.

Very convenient location along the trans Canada. Sites are large enough and level.

Meadowlark Campground is the best RV park in the Brandon vicinity. It has all anyone would need. Normally, there are all services at your lot by this time of year. Not this year due to an abnormally late spring snd harsh winter. The Wi-Fi is not working this year as yet! The harsh winter and very late spring has caused a delay in their Wi-Fi provider installing new equipment and antennae on the roof of the office building/house on the property! The laundry, bathrooms and showers are open! The bathrooms are not fully heated, so makes for a very cool morning bathroom break. The showers are heated and available for those who need them. Clean facilities, lovely people. Normally a great place to stay. It has been so cold, without services it has been a challenge since Saturday! We have family in Brandon and Erickson, Manitoba so have been able to stay warm during the day and with our furnace on and our living room/kitchen slide closed, our 5th wheel is warm! -10 overnight last night and -12 forecasted tonight. They are open and Carrie has been amazing! Thank you!

Mid March going across Canada , owners graciously excepted us, even plowed out a spot for us at 630 at night, very nice people ,great spot for staying a night, beautiful camp ground from what we could see , still 2 feet of snow

good campsite, stayed here for 5 nights prices are good, quite park at night ,some hwy traffic noise as expected directly off hwy 1 . didnt bother us at all. your host Darlene very pleasant and helpful, will stay again when in brandon.

Nice rv park for an overnight, sites are well kept. Was an easy check in Darlene is a fantastic lady.

Beautiful mature trees, very clean washroom & grounds, and super friendly staff....a nice discovery on our cross-Canada adventure!

Darlene was super friendly! Perfect stop for us and a very convenient set up especially for larger motorhomes. Seemed like a nice community wish we had more time.

Neat campground with friendly staffThe campground section is at the front of the property. The sites are grassy, spacious, level, and offer a good amount of shade. The facilities are a little dated, but clean and well maintained. The WiFi was excellent and the location is very convenient off of the Trans Canada. The road noise is there, but is what would be expected for the location and was not a bother. We had a 50 amp full hookup site. Would most definitely stay here again, and would recommend the campground.

Wifi, bathrooms, laundry, power and pottable water.Fully booked as other reviews say.Noisy, no break from the highway.Disgusting tables, bring your own.Uneven ground and tons of mosquitos.Dont stay here if you have a tent.

Beautiful campground, clean and very well maintained. Close to all amenities. Close to Highway 1 but the trees muffle most of the noise.

Lots of highway noise at night and no campfires. The showers and washrooms are so so. Good service at the office. The campgrounds are well maintained.

Excellent and clean showers and bathrooms, laundry facilities, pet friendly and convenient location. More expensive than anywhere we have stayed though and wifi glitchy.

Quiet but crowded. Seems most campgrounds house seasonal workers and others making overnight camping hard to find. Very clean efficient laundry & washrooms. Would stay here again but make sure call ahead to confirm spot. Other 2 campgrounds checked were full.

Great for quick stopovers, no fires allowed, bathrooms are clean but old style. Full serviced and well managed. Was quiet too.

We had a great experience, great price and had everything we needed. Only one suggestion, tents away from road side, no noise barrier. We will be back on way through if timing is right. Thank you

Nice grassed sites and areas. Wash rooms were nice and clean. Good place for a night or a week if visiting the area. I will stay there again.

We stopped here on our way out West and didnt have a reservation...no problem. The owners personally came to the sites after with little packages with info and some crayons and things to colour for kids. Highly recommend this place .Nice people and clean.

Very clean bathrooms / showers. A mere stone throw away from the Trans-Canada highway so it can be a little noisy but at some point it only becomes white noise, didnt hinder our sleep one bit. Definitely recommended.

Nice sanitaries and cool tent spots.Very quiet indeed despite being so close to the highway.Every shops you want within 1km.

Best campground we ever stayed at, were from Moncton, NB & this is our 6th time we stayed here. The staffs are so nice & helpful, campground is clean, showers are clean & free, rates are fair, bathrooms are clean (when no awful campers didnt go dye their long black hair in sink & left their mess there on Aug 7/17, they know who they are & that has nothing to do with the nice owners). I would recommend this campground 100%.

We stayed at this camp ground traveling through Brandon when our truck broke down , the people were very nice and really helped us out letting us stay part of the day with out charging us till our ride came to pick us up ! it was beautiful and clean great showers would camp there again for sure.

I have been in a lot of campgrounds ... this one is top notch.The management cannot do enough for people. The campground is now owned by the people who live in the mobile home park here and they treat campers as a part of their community. This is really nice as some campgrounds are not so friendly.-the campsites are great .. especially the back in ones-lots of trees-laundry facilities and washrooms are exceptional (no charge for showers)-Ive got one good channel on tv with regular antenna .. i know nothing about this so you could probably get more-quiet .. no parties-great Internet-location is great .. gas station - Boston Pizza - Mcdonalds right there and town is ten mintes away or less

Nicely treed, but no campfires allowed and way more expensive than the turtle campground down in the valley where you can have a fire and pay for your wood with the price difference. That being said, they arent overpriced, so if you like trees and dont mind no fire and like the highway right there its a nice place.

A relief and very pleasant.One night stay enroute elsewhere in August. Full service sites. Easy to find and access. Clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff. Clean and pleasant laundry room with bathroom. Lots of covered garbage cans and recycling around property( ie: no overloaded, fly infested garbage). Neat, maintained lots. Thank you!

Great place to stay close to town. Easy parking with all services and "clean" everywhere. The manager took us out to make sure we liked the site before parking. No fires as it is inside the city of Brandon limits.

This campground is a gem!!! We were welcomed as if we were family, nothing was too much trouble. The grounds are so well kept and the washrooms and showers spotless. Darlene the manager bent over backwards to make our stay perfect, loved it so much we decided to stay another day.

I made my reservation knowing that April was still considered winter. Talking to whomever it was on the phone, I was assured that I could fill my water tank from the water tap by the laundry room, and the showers would be hot. I let the nice lady on the phone know that we would be arriving late, and she said that would be fine.Upon arrival, there was no information left for my family. We had no idea what camp spot was ours, didnt know what the code was to the bathroom (cipher locked), didnt know what the Wi-Fi password was, and the water spout by the laundry didnt work.This made a tough evening for peeing and brushing teeth.The next morning, we wanted to be on the road by 0800, but we had to use the bathroom and shower. So I rang the call button 10 times between 0800 and 0900. No answer. So I rang the doorbell to the house, no answer. I talked to a permanent resident who stated the manager left for the weekend...knowing we would be there! Im from the states, so I couldnt call the number without an international fee. So we drove to the truck stop to use the bathroom and brush teeth.I got better service boondocking at Camping World.

Booked a site here couple years ago for 3 nights. It rained quite a bit leading up to our stay, flooding out the campground. We drove through a flooded out road to arrive at the campground, they were still open for business even though all the sites were washed out. They would not give us our money back. We were there for a ball tournament and had to pay for alternative lodging for the 3 nights costing us double since they wouldnt refund us. We will never go back there.

Although Meadowlark is conveniently right off Hwy 1 and close to some convenient stores, restaurants and the city of Brandon, it does has its downfalls. I recently booked online not fully reading the features and options the campground has. Firstly, it offers free w-fi which is nice, but the signal is very low and I could not connect half the time. Upon already setting up my camper, I realized there is no fire pit on my lot. When asked about it, they said there is "no fire pits" allowed. what campground has NO FIRE PITS! I was very disappointed booking this site and was looking forward to relaxing to a fire, and enjoying the flames. Will I book again, most likely a no considering camping should be sitting by a fire and roasting marshmallows. If you book a spot here, book it for an overnight stay as opposed to a weekend, its about all you will enjoy
