Breakfast brought to our cabin was delicious! The staff treats you like family!
WOW! What an amazing place to stay. My husband and I spent two relaxing nights in the Limestone cabin and now we cant wait to go back. Susie and Tom (the ownersare wonderful and go above and beyond for there guests to insure that your stay is as amazing as it can be.☺️
It was my very first BB and I was extremely pleased. The most accommodating and kind hostess posible. Thank you guys
We stayed for a couple days. The cabin was descent, but could have been a lot better. The dishes were dirty, as in old food residue. The lake was very very low and the banks were nothing like the pictures. We were told it was a working ranch and there was plenty of animals and walking. We saw a few cows upon entering and exiting. Our walks were views of piles of woods debris. We stayed in Beaver cabin. The heater/window AC was so loud kicking off and on we turned off the power to it in the middle of the night. If you do the breakfast package it is quite late at 9:15 a.m. . It was brought in styrofoam box like take out and tasted like take out. The archery area and other tucked away areas were a mess and uninviting, glad we didnt pay the extra $100 for that. A lot of emphasis is put on the fact that Paul McCartney stayed there, but I bet the place was at tip top for that. This was our anniversary weekend and a treat as a veteran. We did get peace and quiet and alone time which we desperately needed. We wont return, because we have many other choices with better amenities at lower cost available. But perhaps its your perfect getaway.
We had a lovely weekend at Beaver Lake Cabin. The property is stunning and the cabin was clean and very cozy. Just what we needed! Tom, Suzy and Diane were so friendly and welcoming. We loved exploring the ranch and the sunsets on the lake were beautiful. Thank you for sharing your amazing space with us. We will be back!
What a wonderful place to stay! We stayed in the limestone cabin by the lake. A comfortable bed, luxurious bath, beautiful views, and so much more. The owners are hard working, kind, wonderful people. Very happy we chose this ranch in Oklahoma on our quest to visit all 50 states.❤
Owner is extremely rude could use a lesson in respect and manners. Guess his money lets him think he can be like that.
I have enjoyed multiple stays at Meadowlake and each time has been such a relaxing wonderful time! The setting is so peaceful and yet they offer many different activities for adults and children and those with more active lifestyles . The owners and staff are so hospitable and accommodating! On one of my last visits I brought three of my grandchildren and they keep asking to go back with me as they totally enjoyed their stay!!! Whether you’re looking for a a quiet getaway, or a new adventure you’ll love Meadowlake! I highly recommend it and I’m looking forward to going back very soon!
Beautiful place. Photos dont do it justice. Very clean. Adjacent to a lake. Ms Susie was very attentive and communicative. Ms Diana was very friendly and delilevered a 😋 homemade french toast breakfast in a covered foam plate to our cabin at around 9:15 am. and showed me how to use the oven. The cabin has no closets only dressers. It looks like something out of Little House on the Prairie. Quite lovely. They also rent tepees.Older male walking the property with a gun seemed a bit annoyed at our presence.
Absolutely loved it! Beautiful facilities and location! Such a hidden gem in Oklahoma! When you enter the gate, you leave the world behind!
Loved it! Great dude ranch! Lots of outdoor activities, good ranch food and close to Tulsa for even more activity.
We went during the big snow fall and it was beautiful. It was pieceful and cozy. Stayed in beaver lake cabin #1 for 4 nights. The ONLY complaint I have is that the old stove is directly under the smoke detector and the whole time cooking the smoke detector goes off. Other than that, everything was amazing. The staff was great and everyone kept open communication and were very attentive. THANKS GUYS for a great anniversary trip!
What a wonderful and beautiful place to stay! The cabin is right on the water with its own fishing dock, firewood was supplied and we could use as much as we wanted, the breakfast was great both mornings, the cabin was clean and tidy. Our boys said the pullout bed was comfy, and the King size bed was super comfy! The jetted tub was HUGE and combined with the tankless water heater, it was simply amazing. A quiet, relaxing weekend was perfect and we will definitely be back!
Booked Cabin #1 for a weekend. The views were wonderful. We had geese and duck fly over numerous times. The cabin was clean and very cozy, food was hot and home cooked. It was very relaxing for my wife who loved the never ending hot water in the large jetted tub. All the wood we needed for the outside fire was supplied, the refrigerator was good size for all our drinks and weekend foods/snacks. I can’t say enough about how peaceful and relaxing this place is. Well worth the stay and will be looking forward to staying again soon.
It was pretty nice and beautiful. The scene was awesome. Would definitely come back if in the area
The entire property is absolutely stunning. Cabins are right on the water & spaced out enough to where you feel like your secluded. So pretty!
We booked the Beaver Lake Cabin for a weekend away for my wife’s birthday hoping (as you dothat the log cabin by the lake we booked would at least be half as good as we expected. From the website, we saw that the cabin had a full Kitchen, a Jetta two-person whirlpool as well as a stand-up Shower. My wife was excited to see that it also advertised a pillow-top King Bed. There was also a Chiminea, with firewood included, a private lakeside Patio with table and chairs, and a private jetty to fish from. All in all, it looked promising, and we hoped it would meet even half our expectations.Boy were we wrong – it absolutely exceeded them in every single way!!!Before we even arrived, the hosts reached out to welcome us and let us know how to get into the cabin, and to offer anything extra we wanted – we just needed to ask. We arrived at 7pm, having driven for 4 hours, and then realized that we were an hour past the deadline to let them know we wanted breakfast. I called the hosts number just on the off chance, and they totally made us feel welcome and that it was not a problem that we had asked for them to arrange breakfast for the next day 1 hr. after the deadline. We got out the car and walked around the corner of the cabin to be greeted by the wonder of our private patio literally right on the edge of the lake. After oohing and ahhing at the phenomenal view and standing on our private jetty looking down into the water and spotting the fish, we walked up to the door of the cabin and opened it.Entering the cabin, we were immediately refreshed by the wonderfully cool AC (it was 93 outside). The bed was set against the wall in such a way that when you lie on it with the front door open (totally private still, as the cabin is set well away from the other 2 cabins on site, with the door on the opposite side to them), you can enjoy the remarkable lake view. An absolute treat, but it lets the AC out and the hot air in!On the pillow was a handmade card wishing my wife happy birthday (the hostess was clearly listening to me when I booked the cabinand wishing us a pleasant stay. Also next to the bed was a welcome basket with snacks, and the ingredients for some Smores, which you can make over the fire in the Chimnea. After this, we headed straight to the bathroom to check out the whirlpool. It was exactly what we had hoped, and over the course of the weekend, we spent a LOT of time relaxing and reading in it, bubbles soothing on the skin, and providing a pleasant background burble of white noise, which enhances the sense of privacy and intimacy.Exploring further, we found a coffee table book about the history of Tulsa, and a folder with all the local attractions listed and recommendations of where to eat – very useful for us out of towners!I’ll end this review saying the drive / walks around the lake are beautiful, every single person we met was extremely warm and helpful, breakfast arrived at the time it was promised (although because of Covid, we didn’t have the opportunity to dine in the dining hall). We highly recommend Meadow Lake Ranch as a wonderful, private, and romantic place to stay if you are looking for a comfortable cabin with spectacular views in a peaceful, tranquil setting, with thoughtful, warm and welcoming hosts.
This place was Great.! My wife, daughter and two grandchildren 5 & 13yr old had a wonderful stay there 👍😁 fishing, campfires, hiking where just some of the things to do.. We did half of the dude ranch activities for a day was a bonus.! The cabin had all of the amenities of home, including a hot tub.! Lots of free firewood to burn too.! All of staff there were great and very helpful. It was great and comforting to know that Brian the property manager was on site 24/7 to assist us in any needs!! He really made you feel at home.! And the home made morning breakfast where good too.. Thanks to the owners Tom and Susie, you have a beautiful property of cabins and a great staff that works for you..! 👍😀
The Best place to have an outdoor wedding, with indoor options to take shelter from the storms, an amazing log cabin bed and breakfast with a Jacuzzi!! This was a relaxing stay, and amazing staff going above and beyond for a wedding during a Pandemic, took ever precaution! Make sure to let them know you want breakfast the day/night before so they can get supplies for it!!
We had a lot of fun, caught tons of fish, friendly guides and staff. Thank You!
We had an awesome time! The cabin was perfectly sized. The kitchen was ready for us to fix or own meals. The breed was super comfortable, and the two-person Jetta tub was nice, too. The fishing opportunity was exceptional. Breakfast was homemade and fresh, and service was super friendly - like family. You should plan to stay there, and plan for several nights, because the only thing disappointing about it was having to leave!
Ok Customer service already is Amazing on the phone!!! I am already happy with this place we are so excited to see this place!!! The lady Susie took care of me on the phone today made everything so simple! I will update I am sure that it was a amazing experience!
Everyone that we meet at the ranch was amazing! We enjoyed our stay. It was too chilli to enjoy much of the ranch with little kiddos. However we plan to take another trip. For a family I recommend the bridal suite or very warm maybe teepees for the adventure. Thank you Medow Lake Ranch!
My daughter just booked here for October. Can not wait to see what it looks like on the summertime and fall.❤️❤️
The cabin was on the water but not very secluded from other cabins. The breakfast was just warmed up frozen boxed foods. Not quite what we were hoping for
this was a perfect weekend get-a-way. Cabins was clean, well stocked, bed was amazing, ant to top it off a hot breakfast in the morning. We enjoyed the fishing right outside out cabin. We will be back.
I love staying here! My wife and I have stayed here for an occasion twice now and each time has been excellent. The cabins are cozy, well equipped, comfortable and the grounds are awesome. We stay right by a small lake and there is a patio right out the door with a grill and outdoor furniture that sits right on the lake. Feels like your in the country but your like ten minutes from downtown Tulsa. I highly recommend this place for couples and a quick getaway weekend.
My husband and I stayed here last weekend for our anniversary. The cabin was super clean as were the grounds. There was a little good basket and bottled water in the fridge wairing for us! Love that you were right on the water in the limstone cabin. The breakfast was amazing. It was the best breakfast we have had at a b and b. It was huge and cooked freshed for you when you walk in the lodge. Meadow lake Ranch was nice and peaceful with being only minute from sandsprings and like 15 from Tulsa. The only thing i might mention is bring a blow dryer and the cabins arent insulated with concrete floors heated by 3 space heaters. It kept the place great for us but might not be so toasty in really cold temp!
The care takers are very nice. The place is absolutely beautiful. Great place for a wedding.
Had our company meeting there, very relaxing place and friendly staff. Great food too!!
4 & 1/2 stars. All that water, and not a single mosquito during a 3 day stay in June!Friendly owner and staff.Mostly good, fresh made breakfasts.Okay fishing. You can explore the grounds where you can find chickens and pheasant, cows, ducks, goats, a friendly miniature donkey, and some great views along the way! They have well made teepees with air mattresses for a more "roughing it" experience should you choose. The cabins are nice, very well kept and clean with comfortable bed and clean sheets; clean kitchen with full sized refrigerator and stove, dining table and 4 chairs, microwave, coffee maker with coffee and cups, single well sink, and selection of utensils; living area with hide-a-bed sofa, chest of drawers, TV & vcr/DVD player, electric fireplace, and window A/C; clean, well stocked bathroom (shower soap and shampoo, handsoap, t/p, clean towels and washclotheswith toilet, shower stall, tub, and sink; patio features table and chairs, extra seating, chimineya and firewood (you know, for the smores!)Only problem with the cabin was the water temperature like another reviewer...in the shower it was either scalding hot or cold. All on a private ranch with security gate.Theres more of course, just check them out for yourself!Honestly, over all our stay here was better than any hotel weve ever stayed at.
We stayed in the cabins for a weekend. It is a nice escape and great alternative to a hotel if taking a weekend getaway with your significant other. Keyless check-in worked very well. The cabins have concrete floor which is fine in the summer but we wondered if that would be a problem in winter. The hot water heater provided very inconsistent temperature. We didnt report until leaving so I cant comment on how quickly it was addressed. Overall we liked it and would stay again.
My husband and I got married here and it was the best experience ever. Ashlley and the rest of the crew out there were awesome. Were rednecks and just planned it that day. I cant imagine ever getting married anywhere else. We plan to renew our vows here also. Best money ever spent. Thanks guys fir making it a life experience we wont soon forget .Kenny and Marsha Cooper
Was shown around the property on my very first visit and fell in the love with the place! The cabins are cozy. Perfect for a couples getaway! The grounds are gorgeous with lakeside views all around. The staff are very friendly and make you feel right at home. Felt as if I was apart of the ranch life! Its rustic with an updated feel. Just lovely.Ill be making this place a regular visit for sure!
Great place to visit with a beautiful cabin. There were a few minor issues but they were quickly handled by the staff and owners. Will definitely be going back soon.
Meadowlake Ranch is beautiful and their staff is very friendly and personable. They will make every effort to help you.
was a beautiful place to stay. Jackie the lady who made breakfast, was the most hospitable person Ive ever met. will definitely be going back
I wouldnt suggest this place for a wedding venue. I called and left a voicemail and I texted their number three times asking for a phone call back to no avail. I got one text back saying the date was still available, but no apologies for not getting back to me in a reasonable time. What makes it worse is that the staff member knew that I would be calling and said it would be alright and that I could call her any time. I asked again for a call, and still no response. I decided not to go with Meadow Lake because if they were this unresponsive before getting paid, how bad would they be after they got paid?
Such an amazing place! We were searching for a place to throw my mom a suprise birthday party, she loves cabins on the lake. This was like a hidden gem! SO UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL! Cabins to stay in and 2 event structures. Right on a lake. Beautiful gardens, real teepees, archery targets, and other outdoor activities. I just couldnt believe we had never come across it before! I would recommend this place to any and everyone. You just have to see it for yourself. Oh and the location is perfect! Easy to get to, but you still feel like your so far from busy life. Its perfection!
Myself, my husband, our one year old and our two little dogs had such a nice time at Meadowlake Ranch. The owners were wonderful and so accommodating. The cabin was very comfortable and the grounds themselves were beautiful. Thank you again, Meadowlake Ranch for making our 4th of July weekend so nice.
Wonderful people, atmosphere, and all around an amazing place to get away. Cant wait to go back!!
This place is a beautiful hidden gem. The lake is crystal clear, great place to observe wildlife and relax. The grounds were amazingly kept and clean and special attention to detail has been made to give you a wonderful serene stay here. My husband and I will be returning. I would recommend this for a couples only weekend as well as a great place for a family getaway. I would also recommend this for a wedding or reception area.
Surprised my husband for a little birthday getaway. We absolutely love this place! Such a cozy cabin just a few feet from the water. Loved the basket of goodies left on our table (cookies, stuff for smores, popcorn...). Great staff, great breakfast in the morning and great fishing!! We will be back for sure!
Spent $195 for one night to surprise my wife. Cabin number 2 was filthy. Cigarette butts littered the grounds. They did not even bother to sweep entrance. Rotting food was in ice box. Wife dropped a ear ring which rolled under bed. Upon getting a flashlight, she found unspeakable filth under bed. After a fitful sleep we got up and attempted to bathe, but there was no hot water. Called the number, and no one answered. Went to eat breakfast that caretaker made and several children came in unattended putting their hands all over everything. So I just finished the coffee and left. I feel cheated. Contacting channel 2 problem solvers.
My wife, Nickie and I got married at Meadowlake ranch on Sunday, October 12, 2014. Everybody at the ranch pitched in to make our special day perfect... From the planning, to the ranch hand that drove the hay ride to housekeeping that helped us set up and clean up, everyone was helpful and friendly. We rented 3 cabins for ourselves and guests for the night... pure luxury!!! What a great start to our honeymoon, Waking up to have a cup of coffee looking over a quiet, peaceful pond! Thank you, Meadowlake ranch for making our day a fairytale!..
Nice accommodation, but beware of taking any lessons or classes. We signed up for what we thought was a trail ride and ended up in a Introduction to horses class, which involved a lot of standing around, for a 10 year old and 7 year old that wasnt much fun, and not what they expected. They advertise trail rides, but fail to mention that you have to do the 2 hour introduction course first. To cap it off they charged us (the parentsa full fee ($100for watching our kids participate in the class. They say that parents should accompany the kids, which is OK and as expected, but conveniently failed tell us that we would be charged as participants, even when we didnt touch or sit on a horse ! We will not be returning to Meadowlake.
We stay at Bed and Breakfasts all of time and Meadow Lake Ranch was one of our very favorites! We rented one of the lakeside cabins (pet friendlyfor my 30th birthday. The location was beautiful and the cabin was cozy with the king bed, big bath, and fireplace. We loved the ranch (and full breakfastas well toured around the grounds, fed the horses, and even learned to throw tomahawks with the new manager (who was awesome). We hope to be back soon! -Darcy & Mike
My wife and I had a great time at Meadowlake Ranch! She was able to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I had a great time at the gun range, fishing and hunting. I even tried my hand at a tomahawk throwing lesson. The cabins were clean and cozy, the staff was enjoyable and the country breakfast was great. We will definitely be back!
Meadowlake Ranch is perfect if you are looking for a getaway from everyday life. My husband and I spent a weekend as bed and breakfast guests. The cabins are rustic and homey. We loved our private porch with chiminea and private lake! On Saturday we took the horse class and a trail ride. I left knowing so much more about horses than ever before! The wranglers were so knowledgeable and really took the time to give us a great horse experience. The property was beautiful and the staff was personable. We will definitely be back! I recommend Meadowlake Ranch to couples and families who are looking for a great time at very reasonable prices!
