Me Asia - Chinese restaurant in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago
where is Mr.Angela, she is good girl?
The food and service is quite good. A bit pricey. Casual ambience.
Extremely small portions. Very salty food. Overpriced. Was not impressed at all. Wasn’t worth the money. Disappointed.
Food still great
This is one of my favorite restaurant. Their foods are well done and authentic.
We went around 8:30 pm weekday and dine in the staff was nice but we were not please with the food ,it was cold and the shrimp was not cleaned properly , we have eatin here before and it was good but they standard drop sorry .
They will never see my money ever again. Chicken wonton soup. Water and wontons. Terrible.
Good food, a little pricey.
Very salty and overpriced food. Place old and not maintained well. Not worth it at all!
The shrimp wontons was delicious. The food overall tasted good.
The food was not up to standard. Needs to improve
Excellent food.My favourite off-menu treat - "steam fried wantons".Cost a bit more but the absolute best wontons I have ever had. Over and over, its my special treat to myself.
A bit pricey but the food is always good and consistent
The place is average. Reasonably clean. The food is decent. The staff is very average. The food is decent. Nothing spectacular. Not a place for a special day but good everyday fare.
Went with the familyThe service was friendlyNice settingsThe food was good
The food okish but there prices are a bit expensive for mediocre food to shocking expensive.
Food was excellent! Ordered a vegetarian special and the taste was excellent.
I bought the char siu pork with noodles and vegetables. It tasted really good first time buying there and it was a good size portion. Forgot to take a pic 🤦🏽♀️
Excellent! My husband and I love the food and the service is very welcoming
Greedy and tasty. All I tried was excellent. When I see the size of the small portions (yes, they have two sizes available on many dishes nowI cant figure out what are the large ones. Prices are correct tho. Service is on good standards. Tables from two to eight but Im sure they can organise bigger crew if you book before.
One of my favourite places for very late dining when in Port of Spain. Among the favourite, their house soup and the spicy pepper shrimp.
A nice restaurant. The food is delicious and I like that it opens late. The service is good and servers are friendly.
Food was tasty, customer service wasnt at its best, but its ok, Id eat there again
Nice place, good food, moderate prices, friendly staff. The only downside was the speed of service, they took too long but other than that no complaints.
Great tasting food
Food was ok. I had take out. The service at the front desk was good. Expectations were higher but they were ok.
There food is good but the prices are a bit steep and dont include vat in the prices listed
A mid priced local Chinese restaurant offering authentic Cantonese food. This restaurant has become the premier dining destination for South East Asians residing locally or visiting from abroad.
Clean area, has a private room at no extra cost on the ground floor. Has a VIP room that is for 10% service charge. Food has an excellent standard. You can dine in and take away. The staff is friendly and courteous.
Food is good. Large portions on some dishes food is tasty, the shrimp wontons are do die for.
Apps n main came together after a long wait and food was barely warm.server was plesant when she did come to the table but we constantly had to keep waving at anyone to get service.left san fernando last nite to recieve that service we will not ne back.
It is beautful has a nice view the sea. The food is great. The lobster buffet is great and you can eat as much as you can eat. The service is wonderful.
Food was good but that means nothing when you leave there feeling uneasy because you have been unsuccessfully scammed. Friend visiting from Canada noticed an 82.00 tip added on to her bill which she never approved. When she asked about it, they told her that a 20% tip was added in error.
Cashier doesnt know what the food is. Portions are small and expensive. Shrimp in garlic sauce had NO sauce. But the shrimp was big. Taste left much to be desired. Im still hungry
Taste was good. Price was good for town. Service was slow. Menu was a bit challenging to organise.
Located in a busy night life area. This would be Trinidads strip. Not far from the Savannah. This is a plus for late owls. At the time I visited it was listed as being open until past 3am. Serves Asian food what they consider Chinese food. It was plentiful. Lots of locals. I saw mostly Indians dining. There is also take out service. Quick customer service. Very large menu selection or simply ask for the combo menu. If you are sensitive to salt be aware. The food is seasoned, not bland. Pepper sauce is available for customer to add.
Order coke and was given a bottle that had expired. Then was brought another bottle that was past its Best Before Date. Third time I got a bottle that was ok.Ordered spring roll as a starter, but was delivered at the same time as the main course (not a big deal). The spring roll was very oily!!!Main course of egg fried rice and black bean beef was so so...When it came to paying first time my car was swiped it apparently didnt work, but I didnt get a transaction void paper. Despite requesting the pointed paper, it was not given to me. Second time round it worked. Now need to check with back hope many times I have been charged...Service was terrible...I would recommend trying any other place nearby!!!
I frequent Measia because of their incredible dimsum and generally frown because of the service. This Sunday, the service was incredible but their siumai and Char siu pork were disappointing. The former was overcooked, the latter very uncharacteristically fatty. Everything else was excellent, particularly their fried dumplings 😋👌
Great food ... a wrong order was given to me and was replaced without any problems. Recommend rice noodles
Well the food was plenty bad, but hear what, they had a nice show (on the tvgoing on and I enjoyed that
I got take-out from there Thursday afternoon for me and my husband. We both got food poisoning from it. The food seemed old like they used what they had cooked days before and gave it to us like it was fresh. Thank God our son did not have any, can you imagine how that would have turned out. Considering that this place is not cheap you would think they would take care of the type of food they serve to its customers. They definitely do not! I will never ever eat from this place again!!!
It was good..food was excellent and service was good as well....time delivery for food was less than 10 mins which was really great.
Food is ok but sometimes very oily. The dimsum is tasty. I have also bought take away food but the customer service I received was poor. The waitress had an attitude giving me eye rolls. My father also asked what some of the items in the glass case was but she also gave him an attitude and answered him in Chinese when she was not of Chinese race but could simply speak Chinese. Also she walked off and never answered him. Very disrespectful staff!
Food is excellent however service was a bit poor
Best authentic Chinese food around. But the dining experience is a bit shot. Most of the staff cant speak English so thats a bit tough but manageable. Food takes a while to come from the kitchen but well worth the wait. Dim sum menu always available. Basically theyre open 24hours. Roast pork hands down the best. Steamed shrimp wonton soup also the best. Parking is tough at times. "Fine dining" area is available upstairs but it could be better.
Great tasting food, decent service. Pricey compared to your run of the mill Chinese Restaurant, however its somewhat expected as they are located on Ariapita Avenue.
Great food. Expensive. Open 24 hours essentially. Not adequately clean. Expired drinks served. Service effective but can be sullen.
By far the best chinese food Ive had. Always consistently good and seems like theyre never closed. Down to earth authentic chinese waitresses make you comfortable enough to keep eating.
The Chinese food here is authentic and incredibly delicious. It opens late on a weekend since it caters to the Ariapita Ave night clubbers and bar-crawlers. The service is excellent and the waitstaff is cordial.
Authentic Chinese food, even the half of the menu is in Chinese! The food is amazing, especially if youre a lover of Chinese food. Since its located on Ariapita Avenue, parking will be difficult on a busy day. Other than that, I cant think of any complaints.
