McNamara's Irish Pub & Restaurant in Nashville

OK - just. Non-Irish working there, no Irish music (of Any genreto be heard. The idea of someone taking out an instrument for a session was something unheard of, and the manager would have to be consulted! Who wasnt around to be consulted.As far as I can make out only the fact that they sold Guinness made it an Irish bar.As musicians we didnt feel any fáilte.

Had a fantastic burger and a pint. The bar man was really nice and gave us some tips on places to visit whilst in the area. A really nice friendly place.

Sorry! I LOVE Guinness, and there are not so many bars in the city to grab a pint of Guinness.

Veryy bad service. Waitress is bossy,not kind with the people, does not care about orders. Orders are very late. For one meal waited all of us for an hour. The meals were not well prepared. Energy of the environment is low.. Not recommended at all..

The kitchen is closed at 9 oclock, ridiculous!Additionally, the waittress is too bossy...I give 1 star only because there is no option to give negative review...Addition: PostTerminal is available but no card payment is available, just ridiculous!Funny ending to friendly dinner!

To me its the best pub in town🇮🇪 🍀😍 and feels like a second home! Their food is to die for (personal favorite: Mushroom Cheese Burger and a Brownie for desert), the atmosphere couldnt be better with weekly Live Music on Friday night ie, and the crew are just the nicest people! I recently celebrated my birthday there and they surprised me with the musician playing Happy Birthday to me together with the whole pub and then Seán came out with a giant birthday cake. As you can see, Im not exaggerating when I say theyre just the nicest people but Id recommend that you go and see for yourself! 😍(My tip: book a table in advance if youre a larger group of people)

I think the service really got better since the opening. They were a bit disorganized at the beginning and now everything works fine. The food is good, they always have new things, seasonal stuff and, of course, Guinness.

Authentic Irish Bar and best Burgers and mayo in town paired with occasional live music. Opening the door to this Pub immediately makes you feel welcome and cozy. Me and my girlfriend have met a lot of the staff, who are genuine people with great humor and they always greet you with a smile even when you just pass their fine tavern on the way home! Love to have them in the neighbourhood.

The best burger in Freiburg!!!! Their live music was something to behold also. 10/10 would recommend! It feels more like a pub in Ireland, than an Irish Pub. Mighty craic

Good fish and chips, a very pleasant irish IPA beer. Wheelchair access and the staff speak English.

It can get pretty hot in summer but their ice tea helps cool that down....pub quizzes on Sunday evening is a lot of fun.

Did a dare and tried the double!Really liked it but I would definitely take the normal one next time. That was just a little much.The fries were great as well and the drinks menu looked promising.Ill definitely be back for another round.

Went to watch the world cup match between Germany and S.Korea. They had technical problem with the projector that we couldnt watch the game at the end. The problem was that they didnt let us know that they are having some difficulty. We were there half an hour before. We could have gone somewhere else if only they would have let us know earlier. They kept us in the dark the whole time...

Great place to dine and drink. Nice food, ranges from snacks to more sophisticated stuff. Great beer range.

As an American tourist in Germany for four days, this was the best food and service Ive had the whole trip. Staff was very friendly and spoke English, and the vegetarian burger was excellent and the portions were filling. Highly recommended.

This evening was our first and last visit to McNamaras Irish Pub. We attended the Pub Trivia, however we decided to leave early, mainly due to the guy hosting the trivia. He was embarrassingly unfunny (but tried way too hard), his "beatboxing" was uncomfortably loud, and was just generally annoying because he was drunk (which he admitted to). In addition, the food we ordered came to us luke warm.

Best quiz ever! That review two people below is by the most unpopular and generally unpleasant person Ive ever had the misfortune of sitting next to. Jacob the quiz master is the best host and funniest beatboxer dude in Freiburg. Ill see you next week yo!!

Finally made it here for a colleagues gig and I think this may be my favorite Irish pub in town now. Superhero Tableservice was a real hoot, the drinks were cold and the live music entertaining. Food seemed okay but I only stole a few fries from my former colleagues plate, so difficult to judge from that.

Cool new Irish pub - Sean the owner concentrating on "good food & live music" as counterpoint to the more Sports Bar type Irish pubs in Freiburg. Great range of Whisk(e)ies, great service & atmosphere, good menu with range of typical hearty Irish fare, some good vegetarian options, too.

Best burgers in town maybe. The pies are yummy as well. The staff is quick, witty and friendly, the beer is good (although I dont understand why they only sell Irish craft beers in a craft beer town), the Guinness tap is better maintained than in most bars and theres no TV screens showing sports. I have zero complaints about my visits at McNamaras. I guess we finally have a good Irish pub in Freiburg.
