Spacious Irish sports pub with ample TVs offering an array of hearty pub grub, cocktails & ales.
This bar has a great atmosphere, with great music, when the sports not on.the staff are friendly and helpful the beers are not over priced, except when chelsea play at home then the they put a pound on a pint. Its very nice looking bar, well worth popping in for a drink or a bit to eat
Best bar before the football match
We booked the pub for our husbands birthday for 50 people. We had an amazing time, the service, food and drinks were great. There was a DJ at 8pm who played really good music for the party. Really recommend for anyone looking for a casual venue!
Great atmosphere, great beers!
Went for a drink and quick bite before the cinema, first off they have staff that up in the air!!! I order a sharing board, at first he under charge me which i corrected. Then realised he place a wrong order. Then told me he’s beenworking there for about a year but no ones has ever order the Italian sharing bord. That should have been a warning. Minutes later barman came over and told me that they dint have that. So i was willing to order other food. Then came back and confidently said that they can make! Big mistake! Im not Italian, but for sure if this food was serve to an Italian, it would be an offensive to serve. Didnt eat it decided to order calamari, it came like a thin elastic band dip in batter and over fried, i just have to walk out from that place.
Poor security. Does not feel safe. Dangerous drunk crowd on the boxing night of Anthony Joshua boxing fight.. Service is very poor, even with not alot of people inside the bar staff are slow and incompetent. The only good thing about the place is interior seems nice.
Not a great selection of drinks.Food wasnt fresh and bad quality.Really disappointed as the place looks amazing from the outside.
Stopped in for a pint and a snack... good service and great location.
Had a surprise birthday party there I 8 July the staff and venu were amazing they went above and beyond bar staff were very interactive and accommodated all guests would definitely recommend also dj was decent 👌 definitely definitely would do it all again great feedback from all whom attended
very cozy place...
An Irish pub, owned by Donegal family and not showing The Ulster final with Donegal v Derry....dochreidte agus uafásach.... not at all happy and too late to find a "real" Irish pub....First Ulster final missed in years cause attending a wedding in Richmond...
Great atmosphere for a Friday nite..Good DJ
So I came here to watch the Chelsea vs Wolves match it wasnt broadcast on TV but I did get an amazing burger and some Guinness and a Birra Morretti. Great service, cool multi-level place with 5 different private rooms that you can let out for a private event. Ill go back for sure tge next time Im in London!
Great atmosphere after the Chelsea game. Friendly, good Guinness.
Advertised on their website that they would be showing a football game; only to not have a subscription to the channel...rookie stuff
Very poor service. Completely disrespectful to their visitors. They also do not follow their own table booking rules. Would never ever again spend a penny at this place.
Nothing bad to say about this place. I was a first time customer and the food and service were first class. Bar staff and food service staff very pleasant.
Football drinking location, great service well organised but get there early Plenty of screens to watch the sport
Great place to watch Chelsea games. Saw the Club World Cup final and had a good time!
The bar staff are the best in the world they know what we want but the assistant manager has no clue he as far as I am concerned is a bully to the staff we wantthe football on the big screen as you walk in the pub but he refuse i would give 5 star but I will give 1 no wonder the staff want to leave because of his attitude to the staff and if this carries on I wont come I n to your pub any more
What made this pub bad is the bouncer on the door. Worst of the worst acting big headed. My friend stepped outside for a minute for a phone call. When he wanted to go back in he had a beer in his hand where the bouncer missed and started talking to us in a very rude manner where you got this beer from etc.. we politely said we where inside.I told my friend in Arabic just ignore him and go in. The bouncer turned out to speak Arabic too and he pushed me to the side and grabbed my jacket where he had no right to do that. Started shouting and squaring up to us looking for trouble.I ignored the bouncer and just left the pub as he is not worth our time.Would highly recommend this pub to take better care of who they employ. Will not be going back there ever again.
We ordered a vodka and tonic. The guy serving us slyly opened a tonic mixer bottle and put a splash into the drink. Then he put the cap back on the bottle and tried to charge us for a full bottle of tonic rather than the splash he served me. And he didnt even serve it with a slice of lemon or lime.I guess the next person who orders a tonic mixer will get the rest of the bottle which by then will be flat. Dishonest behaviour.
I went there yesterday to watch a rugby match that was clearly advertised on their site. I asked the bouncer (very friendly guywho checked and confirmed they would put it on even though the Chelsea game was on. Kickoff was 2. At 2.05, I asked a lady behind the bar to put it on and she said with a smile, "Sorry we are not showing it". I explained it was on the site and the bouncer said he checked inside as well and that this was not acceptable, she again said sorry, with the same smile. Her manner was unprofessional. I will never come to this pub again.
So I went to a Chelsea game with a friend.after the match, later that evening we went back to the bar because it had a good vibe before match and advertised a dj on the Saturday night. There is two girls black hair work behind the counter. One got in a fight outside with her cousin.it was tragic tbh.Anyways, as the night went on we moved to double vodkas. All good. Two double vodkas and mix is 18 pounds. I was charged 36. I brought this both attention. I was told then that the price goes up after a certain hour. Grand did not make too much of a fuss. So next my mate goes up, 2 double checks his account 18 quid. HahaWas paying with revolute so it was easy to check. Be wide in there.Fyi: there is a bouncer on the door later on. Sound out.
Ive been to this restaurant with my girlfriend some time ago, and I gotta say that Ill never order food from this place again. Maybe a pint of beer max. The staff and general atmosphere of this place were the only things I enjoyed. The food in comparison to other restaurants Ive eaten at the same price or even cheaper was a solid 3/10. Weve waited about 40 minutes for it, even though there wasnt a lot of other customers, whereas it lacked taste, texture, etc.The prices for the quality of food we received was way too high!I believe that people elevate this place to a higher standard than it really is...
Beautiful pub and atmosphere. Service is Acetheir stunning, friendly and quick, Lauren was amazing all evening. Great place.
Great pub, amazing staff who are so helpful and polite. Very clean and food was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be returning soon.
Popped in just for a drink and snack. It was almost empty yet the staff just looked like they couldn’t be bothered to serve us, instead she was busy sorting out boxes/a delivery and shouting across the room.Poor attitude and felt like a bother when asking if we can order. When the sweet potato chips arrived they were the WORST Iv ever eaten! Undercooked, bad taste, not seasoned, my 12 year old could have done better. I mean if that’s what the chips are like I def won’t be eating there again.
Atmosphere and staff were nice... But the food was the worst I’ve had in a long time. We got beef burgers, chicken burgers and schnitzel all of which were like trying to eat the sole of a leather flip flop. The icing on the cake was our calamari starter arriving just as we were finishing the mains.
The atmosphere & staff were cool. We were made to feel welcome, got the Covid track n trace details done & were offered to sit where we wanted. Drinks n menu served quickly. However the food wasnt great. It was all very dry; probably because it was over cooked. Shame!
Date night with my bf so he can also watch the football game 😁Really nice pub, beautiful interior and great food. Staff is very polite and friendly.
Staff were wearing masks incorrectly then we got moaned at when we were tipsy and forgot to put ours on when we went to the toilet. Pretty awful atmosphere, we got abuse off of a regular because we took his seat without realizing and the staff done absolutely nothing about this. Definitely not coming back, lazy and rude staff wasn’t made to feel welcome at all.
Today was the first time to dine-in in this amazing place, the atmosphere, food, staff, prices .. everything is so great, you can also watch sports, enjoy nice music and the portions are big. On Thursday there is 2 for 1 burgers, very nice offer! I had a beef burger with a very nice long island ice tea! Recommend to anyone! The owner put so much effort to make this place absolutely gorgeous! Every detail its unique!
Went there in March before lockdown happened to have a meal with my partner and was extremely disappointed with the food, came out cold and all around not nice. So we asked for our money back as we only had a couple of bites, from one of the staff members who contacted the manager over a walkie talkie (which we could hear clearlyto ask if this could be done and the first thing the manager said back was "what colour are they?". This is absolutely disgusting. Would never go back and cant believe the company would have someone like that running their pub.
We were a little nervous coming to a pub after lockdown but this place did really well. Customers were socially distant and the staff were really friendly and switched on. The Guinness was excellent and the food was delicious.
Nice to have a drink with other man utd fans before the match
This is a fairly good shout if youre looking for a fairly down-to-earth pub in an otherwise posh area. The Guinness is acceptable. There was some nice, live, traditional Irish music. We went there because our pub got too crowded, due to the rugby. It was not crowded in McGettigans, but it was by no means empty. Located very close to Fulham Broadway Tube station. It was a useful port in a storm for us.
This is a great pub. Live music and a DJ. Beautifully revamped. Lots of different little places inside to sit. Staff very friendly. Normal London pub prices. Bought a bottle of wine not cheap then charged for a pint of soda water. Other pubs in area dont charge.
We saw a customer at the bar accidently smash a glass. Some of the glass fell into the ice bucket which was located directly behind the bar. Instead of throwing the ice out and cleaning the ice bucket the staff just continued to serve drinks with it surely knowing that it very likely contained shards of glass. I never normally write bad reviews but I felt I had to in this case. If you do decide to drink here then stick to pints for your own safety.
Food was excellent. The venue is perfect. I walked at 8.45 live musician who was good but pointless excersize. Too loud and og able yo escape the noise. Then I find a table beside some life. 2 other guests. Then I go to the bar. Order food and a beer. By the time the food comes my beer is almost done. The server does not bother asking me if I would like another. The other two guests who would easily had drunk more were also not asked. I had to get up leabe my table and order another beer. In 90 minutes I did not see any of the 3 staff walk around the pub. What bring a musician and then not try and sell. This seems to be the MO in London. Staff and their managers dont really know how to sell and serve properly.Great venue, super food, useless staff.
Stopped in for a drink; Maltsmith beer and a Macallan 12 scotch; average priced. Unfortunately the scotch glass had a dirty sticky exterior which detracted from the experience. Nice/decent environment.
Classy sports bar inside with plenty of tables which are great for groups or couples. Don’t have to look much further for a quality beer and a burg
Weve had a few good nights here and some of the barstaff have decent product knowledge but some really need basic training. Like last time we came we asked for a bottle of corona and the girl behind the bar didnt know what that was. I had to point it out to her in the fridge. She then served it to us with a glass of ice. Surely even the most inexperienced bartender knows that beer doesnt come served with ice and that corona is served with a wedge of lime? It really was hard work trying to place what should have been a simple drinks order. They also have live music and DJs, both of which are a very hit and miss. But when they get it right its a decent pub overall with an interesting mix of tourists, locals and sports fans.
As tourists we thought it would be a good idea to visit and experinece a Irish pub. What a big let down. We went in and stood awkwardly a while, waiting to be served and the staff went about their business as if we were invisible. Finally we seated ourselves, the server came and were told us that there is no menu for the drinks. When I wanted a local draft beer, the server was unsure what to recommend, she consulted the bartender who was none the wiser. The food was decent , however the fish and chips hardly resembled the posted menu pics. The chips were large but the piece of fish was miserly small being dwarfed by everything else on the plate. There was just no buzz to the place and the incongruous screening of American pro football on the screens did not help create the right ambience. And yes..despite requesting a glass of tap water not once but twice, it never came...and there were hardly any customers at that time( Sunday evening). No we dont want to fill up any forms .. the pub has many things going for it - prime location, tasteful interior etc.. but it can surely do better.
Used to be a lively night attraction but is now more of a casual place to have a drink. We attempted to have a night out here recently as soon as we entered we could smell the floor, we went in knowing not many people were in there but once we heard the music and smelt the place we did an immediate u-turn.
I went with friends. We liked the place a lot. Full of space and corners, flat big screens, nice decor...The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is because the live music was way to high. I like dancing and music and so do my friends but we were forced to shout at each other. We left earlier because of that.
Weird decor... but a good place with lots of alcoves and corners to break away from the crowd. Big sports screens. Friendly bar staff that will occasionally bring pints to your table when theyre not busy - thats a big plus for me.
Nice bar with lots of cosy alcoves for privacy. The layout and different floor levels is interesting. Drinks selection was limited and in my opinion drinks were expensive. I attended a charity event here so the atmosphere wouldve been different to the norm. More than 1 bar exists but only the main bar at the front was open. Good flattering lighting. If I was in Fulham Broadway and wanted to stop for a drink I would visit again. Nothing special though.
Great place to visit. Great people, excellent service, tasty food. A++++
Lovely interiors but the staff were entirely unprepared to answer questions of sport viewings, drink orders and food shortages. We had to repeat orders more than once and generally received a terrible service. We were there in one of the spaces watching Indy 500 while other sport shows were displayed in the other areas. Throughout the time we were watching the race the volume from other TVs, music and at some point a live band was entirely spilling into the space we were sitting, making it entirely uncomfortable and unpleasant to enjoy our time there.I suggest that the bar plans its viewing and other events better to manage customer satisfaction. It is advertised as a sports bar and should be able to deliver whatever is advertised.I wouldnt suggest it for any future sport viewings not will I go there again.
