Paved walking trails, athletic fields, a playground & splash pad are offered at this local park.
Great place for our church picnic the kids had a great time on the playground.
Awesome playground and splash pad.
Beautiful park. Great for kids!
We had a blast taking our favorite three year old to McFee park. So much to do and see! We played on the play ground, kicked the ball Im the field and followed a trail. So fun!
McFees got tennis and basketball courts, fields for soccer and other activities. I believe there are two beautiful pavilions for hosting events.Kids enjoy cycling around the park, throwing boomerangs, and flying kites. Its a very good place for kids. However, it is missing flowers. This touch would make such a huge difference in ambience.
Clean, easy access, great fir taking kids ti run and play or the poochie for a walk.
Great for the little ones. Plenty of parking and well maintained.
great soccer field, good conditions on the outside of the park
Nice little park with a playground suitable for kids of all ages, a splash pad suited for kids of all ages, public restrooms, two areas covered by large canopies, and two covered picnic area shelters.
This park and splash pad was awesome! I had an incredible time with my toddler and watching other kids enjoying the park and splash pad. It was packed even for a weekday but by 1:30 the place cleared out and was really nice with less kids (only because itβs easier to spot my own kid with less kids running around). The park was really fun and I even had a blast going down the slides myself. It was really hot in part of the park so some sun shades would be excellent. The AstroTurf part of the park is so much cooler than the old rubber mulch side. We will go back here for sure.
Beautiful family park just hope the gangs dont ruin it
Great park with very nice splash pad too
Probably the best splash pad we have been to in Knoxville. Could use more shade on the benches and some seating in the covered areas
Beautiful park with amazing play ground and splash pad.
It is our go to place to wear our kids out! With a huge playground and splash pad, our littles play to their hearts content. It is a top notch place.
My 4 yr old son Hunter had an absolute blast. Very clean set up. Endless entertainment for just about any child.
Stoped here with the kids after a Costco trip as a reward and more the happy with this park. Its clean! Has π» bathrooms that are clean. The play ground looks new and has soft squishy face grass, nice on the feet. The splash pad had areas for all ages our 11 month old was just as happy as our 8yr old. Only down fall is I dont think there is enough parking. But there was 2 parties going on 1 at each covered picnic area. Even had some BIG grills.
Beautiful park. Need to repair or turn on lower water fountain for pets still.
The splash pad is very nice and not terribly crowded!
With the recent additions this is now one of the best parks in Knox County.
An awesome asset for the Community. A little bit of something for everyone who would like to exercise or get outdoors.
Large park, soap dispensers missing, I sometimes get kicked out of the sitting areas due to reservations, so overall a decent yet kind of odd place to take a loved one like your kids.
This is a favorite park. They have everything from swings, slides, and monkeybars to a soccer field and splash pad. The two large picnic pavilions with grills are nice and accommodating. The entire park is well-maintained. Great place to take your little ones so they can release energy!Update: massive expansion of the park is taking place, with new basketball and tennis courts already built. Nice!
enjoying, clean,friendly... parking filled up quickly
Great park . Kids are entertained for hrs. with the large playground and the adjoining splash pad.
great park, nice and open clean, but has some construction going on to renovate I believe
This park is awesome! During the hot summer months part of the play area turns into a small water park. Dont know many kids that wouldnt love playing in the water.
Pickleball, I mean.. TENNIs courts at McFee are some of my favorite in the area. Nothing more to add or take away from any of the other amenities or sporting fields there either.Do try and be mindful and considerate trying to park or navigate those busy summer days at the splash pad though, fyi.
Very nice park, well kept. Shredded tires for softness and in the summer they have a free water pad (pics added). The play area was small kid friendly and my 2 y/o got around fine.
It was nice. My kiddos really enjoyed it.
Really fun park for my kids. My 2 year old boy, and my 5 month old girl had a blast. The splash pad is one of the best that I have seen. Really nice playground.
Great playground and also very popular. Multiple playground attractions as well as a fun splash pad, so in the summer months make sure youre in your swimsuit or have a change of clothing
Great park. It was disability accessible. Not a ton of shade, but you can wet your hot feet in the splash pad area. π
SOOO many people, but the splash pad is the best partThe kids had so much fun. The playground is okay. I do like that it has wheelchair accessibility though.
Great park to spend the afternoon at with the kids. Theres bathrooms right next to the splash pad and playground.
Great place, safe, shaded area. Padded AstroTurf playground and rubber mulch. Weβve rented the pavilions several times and have alway had a great experience. The βsmallβ pavilion has always been sufficient for our big parties and large groups.
Nice clean park. Can get a little crowded at certain times, but NO COMPLAINTS. Would definitely recommend. There at 10 am on Saturday 6/5/21 looked like construction going on to add another part. Maybe soccer field or something. Very nice place.
Its been a while since we last visited. We noticed some new equipment on the splash pad as well as old park favorites removed. Interesting to see the expansion, but leary about the parking situation, both current and future after the expansion of complete. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and as always, a great party spot when the pavilions are available to rent.
Its not too crowded, even when theres many cars in the parking lot. Sometimes theres soccer practice, so the field can be busy. However, around the field is a track that you can walk or run. There are stairs that connect the lower field with the upper playground area. The parking lot is sometimes used for younger bicyclists. Restrooms are closer to the road, at the first entrance. The upper playground area has nice equipment, a shelter with metal picnic tables, and a splash area. For really small, beginning cyclists, theres a continual path that they can ride in relative safety. My daughter meets her coach after skating to do off-ice. Theres plenty of room for her to stretch, run, jump, leap, jump rope, hop on the stairs, use elastic bands, spin with a spinner, and lay down a yoga mat.People are friendly and most will give you your 6 feet apart or wear a mask to pass you.
Awesome spot. Had a great spot for gatherings. Tons of well behaved kids having a blast on the play structures. Very safe place. I wouldnt hesitate to take my children there. Doing some construction so Im excited to see what they have planned.
Clean and beautiful park with amazing equipment for all ages!
Absolutely love this place. The playground is huge! Its well kept and taken care of. I do wish they had more swings though. They also have a splash pad that Im looking forward to letting the kids play in come summer. My kids are 2&5 years old. They absolutely love it here. This is their favorite playground in the area.
One of our favorite parks. Amazing playground as well as splashpad. Always clean and maintained.
We love this park! The playground set is not crazy tall, instead its really spread out. The swing sets are nice and theres usually a line to use the 2-seater swing. We brought a group of 5 kids between 12 and 3 and they all loved it! And the Splash Pad! How cool is that place! nice playground, sweet splash pad, decent enough bathrooms, and big pavilions all right next to each other.
Large splash park with a nice playground and clean restrooms. While there is ample shading around the perimeter, there is not too many benches so be sure and bring your own chairs or blankets to spread out underneath a shade tree while you watch the kiddos play. If youre planning on walking around the water features make sure you wear a swimsuit because you will get wet.
A lot of fun for my 2, 4, and 7 year old.! The splash pad was their favorite π The park had a nice variety of obstacles, slides and monkey bars.! There was fake soft grass and soft wood chips on the playground as well.! Just very enjoyable πππ
This park is amazing, has large fields and huge playground area for kids of all age and size. In the summer there is a huge splash pad that can easily fit 100 kids. Playground is in great shape with turf under it and the only thing really missing here are more swings I guess, but awesome park.
I love this place its so much fun. I recommend this park to anybody with kids the waterpark is so much fun my kid has so much fun there
I love to take my kids to this park. It is clean and well equipped for children to play around and meet with other kids. Thereβs a path for children to ride bikes and scooters. In Summer, you want to make sure that your kids are in their swimsuit so they can have fun in splash pad. It is a very nice place for a birthday party as well.
Beautiful park. Huge splash pad and play ground. Nice pavilion can seat a ton of people. One of the nicest parks in Knoxville.
