Worst McDonalds ever. They never have Milkshake or ice cream. Drive thru takes up to 30 min just to get the your food

We had to wait AGAIN for our food, always a wait 😩

I think they were short staffed on our visit. Have never waited that long at any Mc Ds before

Worst McDonalds ever! For a company that prides itself for fast service this place should just close its doors. I can get my food faster at a sit down steakhouse than here. Every single time!!

Very bad and slow service

Terrible service. The lady that took our order was so impatient and rude. We order and paid for 10 nuggets along with the rest of our order, but never received the nuggets

Service extremely slow, nearly no one here, yet waiting nearly 20min fot 2 mcmuffins, and they got the order wrong and then the price charged are higher than the one advertised!

Great service, friendly personnel and the food was good.

I waited more than 15min on a drive through, i realized that they gave me a wrong order after a bite, so I went back to complain and they just put an extrao Patty on the bitten burger.😂

Good service, pity something is always not available

Service havent improved, drive through is basically not an option, as you will be wasting your time and petrol, 50% chances you will get your order wrong or not up to standard, you must just know it is not like other McDonalds in the country.

Opens 24hrs always great for those late night bites after an evening of partying.

You get what you pay for, but the ice-cream machine is always broken.

Horrible service, you order only they get your order wrong every single time , if they dont have the mcfizz you ordered they would literally decide what to bring for you, like who does that without any communication. They ALWAYS ALWAYS forget to add our extra sauces but we still end up having to pay for it. Dont even bother getting your kids a meal, if the nuggets aint old , its the patty thats completely dry and the happy meals comes without toys!!? And just now we ordered an hour ago they calling to tell us the driver already knocked off LIKE AN HOUR AGO !!? Why not call and tell us before. I have never had such bad experience with a fast food restaurant McDonalds in the Kalahari mall definitely takes the cake.Never ever order from there AGAIN!

No notice of coffee machine that is not working for almost 2 weeks now...No kids toys for happy mealsDid not recieve my full order...Got a call from head office but still have not recieved my childrens toys as discussed

Affordable take out food, friendly staff.

No coffee, no hot water and no toilet paper in both the ladies’ and gent’s toilets too!! Also a bucket of dirty water and a rag left outside on the seating bench..!! We moved it when it was studiously ignored by the staff. And this was at 08h30 in the morning!! To be fair, and following a complaint from me, the management has tried to get in touch but I am on a motorbike trip around SA so am not in a position to answer calls. However they did call 3x but didn’t bother to leave a message..?! I’m not sure how they propose to resolve this over the phone but be sure I won’t be stopping by ever again and will advise anyone else thinking of doing so to give the place a very, very wide berth. McD’s used to be my “go to” place for a good coffee and a MacMuffin for breakfast on my trips around the country and my Sunday rides too, but I’ll be avoiding all McD’s from now on. !! Damage done!

The service was slow. I suspect that they diverted every personal too the drive throu and left just one guy attending to the desk..I may be wrong. How ever in my experiance it was a very slow service.

Poor service. Staff at the drive thru not friendly very slow waiting to pay for a long period after placing order as nobody at the paystation. Definitely not a good experience and will avoid mcdonalds upington in future

Im really really disappointed and really not with the service I got today, FrstIy ordered 3 Oreo chocolate Mcflurries only to find out it was a wrong order I was given since I already paid I took them, Than after I came back to try get what I really wanted I even ordered an extra topping to rectify, I ordered once more one Oreo Mcflurry with an extra topping it was worse I was even given my order in an unfriendly manner and again o wrong order I feel sad and heart broken.

Very friendly McDonalds. Arrived at 07h00 and the sit down was still closed. They allowed to sit I side the restaurant and enjoy our meal. Gmvery friendly and efficient with a good breakfast.

My burger had more salt on than there is in the ocean.It was like eating left over tears of gunfree SA members.I dont know why they add salt to a burger.Its ridiculous.I could feel the salt crunch in between my teeth....no man!!!

Worst McDonalds I have been to. Its either they are always out of ingredients or your order looks like it was put together by a 2 year old. Terrible!

On the 4th of November, in the morning at around 9 the service was so slow...employees were dragging their feet and made us feel like we were too early for them! They hardly greeted us...

Fast service and food is always fresh. I love their Chicken nuggets and the best is McFeast deluxe.

Everytime i buy a burger here:they get my order wrong...there is never enough source and its always something wrong.this place needs a manager like me who is hands on that can push this place for greater heights.

I have started marking down issues with Mc Donalds. 8 out of 10 orders either taken wrong or prepared wrong. Not sure who the owner is but he is losing a lot of money with the amount of food waste and annoyed customers.Waited 50min last night for some reason, and when I received my food some stuff was missing. Had to walk in again and request my missing food.The previous order was incorrect, as well. Asked for a spicy burger, they gave me a normal one. I returned it, and they scraped off the sause and put spicy sauce on it. The burger box was by now looking like it was packed by a 2year old with all the sauce on the outside and the burger looks like it exploded on the way hom. Drove back and had it replaced again.Multiple incorrect orders. I am a bachelor and eat take aways a lot. Mc Donalds Upington is the worst take away place I have visited to date.

Im sure the food is great but its a bit of an inconvenience that you have to download a different app to get delivery, plus they dont cover the area where the hotel is. So its So its bummer

Truly dissapointed. Double cheese burgers has just one slice of cheese.The hapoy meal didnt have a burger in. The fries is extremely dry.

Quite irritating having to go through drive-thru and being told to go wait in the parking or when you get by the window and theres no one attending to you or informing you that they still busy preping your meal, Having to make sure they have your order right, having to ask for ketchup, even though the slip clearly states that you get three with you meal. Seems like they on a tight budget. :(

3 stars just because i dont like mcd.The service however was good and the staff was friendly. Not something you see from the entitled in jhb.Well done guys, ill pop around for a grudge buy again when i am in upington again.Keep the smiles

Waited 15 minutes for three burgers ..I was the only customer inside and the staff took forever to finish my order finally when done they realised they prepared the wrong burgers.Opened my burgers removed the toppings and started preparingthe correct burgers on the same rolls...

Have been waiting over 2 hours for a delivery less than 500m away driver never let us know he was here when I called they said the driver informed them we do not want our order anymore, worst mcdonalds the manager is surely not worth his title

service to slow sometimes. To little staff to handle the customer load. They get the orders incorrect. I ordered ain chicken, they gave me hot chicken. I cant eat spicy food I have a problem with my intestines so for me to drive 40 kilos back into town was not a option so I gave it to the dog.

My wife and I took our granddaughter of 6 years to McDonalds for a treat. The play area is out of bounds and it was a bit strange for her to wait until we were served. Maybe they can look at other options to entertain the young ones, as this is one of her favorite places. We enjoyed the food and the staff was their normal friendly and helpful self.

Not once that I have came to McDonalds upington have I received my food at the window. Always had to wait in the parking, 40 degrees out with the car running, just to get nuggets hard as a rock.

I was standing in front of the que, so that I can place my order, there was no staff that was willing to take my order, they were all just standing and chatting. The staff was all busy chatting to members of the public using the side door, I was basically ignored and revused a service. They made remarks like "we are on strike, and laughing" I will never support this branch again, absolutely pathetic service and ignorance. Such people should not be allowed to work!

The place is cozy and relaxed and enough space for family outing and as for the personal, very friendly and respectful and the service is top notch

Their staff is friendly and very respectful.They stack their burgers neatly and the oil they make their fries with is also clean.Im from Jhb and nowhere have I come such service and they are fast too.I would really recommend it.

Located on the exterior of the mall. Staff need training on dealing with clients.Limited parking space.We ordered Big Mac meals and the chips were semi-raw and cold. Our drinks were incorrect.This is a solution for a quick bite.Its located on the exterior of the mall, which provides quick access.

Went through the drive through for convenience, after paying I was told to park my car in front and wait. I parked the car and had to wait an additional 10minutes for my small order, why is there a drive through anyways?? I have never had a good experience at this restaurant and I sincerely hope that the manager looks into this. All I can say for now is avoid and rather go to KFC
