McDonald's Mount Maunganui in Tauranga

at least the foods good normally, but lately alot of our orders have been stale, just taste like reheated old food and for our past 3 orders weve made here, youve forgotten our drinks or got our order wrong. Really puts me off ordering again

Clean branch of McDonalds, friendly staff. Lots of parking.

The cleaner lady today was amazing !! As I ate I watched her clear tables etc with such efficiency, good to see there are some hard workers still out there . She definitely deserves a pay rise thanks

Burgers are always cold and why is the lady that wears mufti at the counter blonde hair and drives a black swift so aggressive with her Staff...... they are trying their best and its never good enough shes always yelling and its quite disturbing to hear and see when eating

It was quite busy but the staff was really nice and we got our order quickly.

Absolutely disgraceful service!!. They ended up serving us shakes from a machine that was broken/not working properly (we could see the whole thing), after waiting in the drive thru for nearly over 10mins (we were the only customers in the drive thru and nearly asked for my money back and only wanted ice cream ansd shakes), they served them too us in a sloppy mess (had to ask for more paper towelsand they tasted like pure syrup or worse....All the staff were all just completely blazae about everything standing behind the counter.Would not recommend

Slow. Very slow. Tables a mess, no staff clearing or cleaning.

Its a nice place for a feed not far from the Library it was fairly quite when I went there this afternoon

Buns were crusty and missed out a burger. Food wasnt hot

They shut dining in really early like 4pm so you cant even have dinner in there. Their carpark is bigger then the place itself but the food is good and the people who work there are nice and friendly

Currently very low on staff and often miss ordwr but I can forgive because some staff members are very very good (some dude I forgot his name but I said "Ive got to say you were very efficient" a very lovely man)

Went for a Drive Thru 05.06.2022. Went on Sunday for a very long Q on Drive thru to get a bacon egg muffin. Since the Q is long, we just able to get to the order place at 10.59. And the girl declined our order since the already sold a lot of breakfast meal? I just said that we are on the Q and that was a long silence she just doesnt want to help customer. Not apologising or offer any solutions. Very bad manner and attitude. Manager not giving a good training. Not even making sense to declined the order when its not even the cut hours yet.

Can not go wrong with a good old BSA hamburger

Visited 6 Am on the 17/04/2022. They are suppose to be open and running at 6am. Cones placed on the drive thru and doors locked.Called and asked if they are opening. A girl answered 3 staff didn’t turn up to work. Lot of people come and turn away. People going to early morning work went to work without food.I wish the management terminate those people who have no work ethics at all. Sad to watch business suffering as well relying on these people.

Just spent an hour in the drive through guy taking the order didnt know what he was doing ended up with the wrong burger and I cant go back as some of our roads are blocked so dissatisfied have to admit this is the first time they have let me down 😪

Simple McDonalds, as all McDonalds in general. Tables were not really clean😕. Food was as in McDonalds.Location is good not far from the Mt.Maunganui.

Cant complain about the location with the level of service you would expect.

A typical McDonalds with a drive through. You can dine inside during the red traffic light which is good. Sufficient parking available.

Was average service ,too long a wait, we had a 3:00minute time limit set in our drivethru in East Texas 20 min is too long, especially in the hot sun .. but Thanks anyway Fish was old and hardly any filet sauce. Thanks but no thanks.

I ordered shaker fries but found no shaker included when I got home. My niece ordered mcspicy with shaker fries and same thing happened. They did not put the shaker. As much as possible we order take aways because of covid and we can only checked our orders when we got home. Going back to their store to complain is already tiring.Because there was no delivery available from kfc. I have no choice but to order here at mount Maunganui Mccas again but this time its through uber. I ordered a big mac and some others, but the big Mac got only 1 patty. Yup 3 layers of buns with lettuce, mayo, and 1 patty. Whats going on mcDonalds Mount Maunganui? prepare your food right. We are paying the right price and never missed a scent yet when the food that came to us always lacks something.

I dont normally expect much at McDonalds, and yet im always disappointed. Waited 20 minutes for 5 ice creams with little to no other customers in the store. Very average service. Will not be returning.

Visited Thursday 6/1/22 at about 330pm. Easy process ordering my 2 McFlurry ice creams , they do not look like the advertised picture and sure did lack ice cream. They are delicious but could be topped up to resemble the photo. I scanned in, was wearing a mask and when my order was ready I went to the counter to collect it and was asked to show my Vaccination pass. No problem with that but don’t ask for my pass when you have a staff member standing next to me with their mask down around their neck. I told her to put her mask on. What I think was the day manager gave her a stare that was like, I won’t tell you again. No words were spoken in front of me but hopefully after I left something was said. I sympathise with staff having to wear a mask all day but the rules are the rules and don’t ask customers to do the right thing if your staff are not prepared to wear a mask. You need to monitor staff compliance.

Good location and food but covid 19 entrance requirements are terrible. They only allow vaccinated people but dont check at the door and often dont check when you pick up food. Sure to the way they check for vaccinations there could be unvaccinated people in the building.

The DIIRTY chai I just consumed here was sooooo damn good!!! maybe the best from a McCafe around the Bay if not NZ...I wish the barista from here would be at my local McCafe(wont give location but theirs are the worst!!!)Nice & clean(at 14:30 anyway& will happily stop in for a coffee again when passing/cycling by.

Checked opening hours before driving here and Google and websites say they are open 24/7. Unfortunately, the lobby was closed and drive thru blocked off with cones. When I called the store, they said they close at 12pm on weekdays and were unsure why it cant be changed online

Food is always the same so you go there because you like it so not going to comment on the food 😀 Only thing I would say is that they should have hand sanitiser in the eating areas as you are eating with your hands and would be handy (excuse the pun)Keep the place a bit cleaner as well for piece of mind 😉

Serves the best Macdonald ice cream in the area. Great portions and dont skimp on anything. Staff are always pleasant and we take the drive from Papamoa for their great service.

Took 10min to take our order that was literally only 4 coke floats and when we collected the drinks we got the wrong ones.I usually really enjoy McDonalds but this was a big dissapointment!

Place was disgusting.. maybe if the counter girls paid more attention to the overcooked food and cold chips like they do with their false eyelashes.. I would give them a 2 points. Dirty place.. every table was dirty.. had to clean my own table..

Theyve changed theyre opening hours to close at 11pm and are no longer open for overnight, terrible when you finish work at that time and want a quick dinner. No late night McDonalds anywhere in tauranga now.Usually fantastic service and food all around though, just extremely disappointed in closing time change.

This was the worst drive through service I have ever had. Hot chocolate was not hot, apple pie was ok, sundae had sauce on the outside of the cup which got all over my hands and clothes. We had to wait for a very long time and there was no hello, thank you, goodbye or sorry for the wait from any of the staff. Will not go back there

Service at drive through was super quick at 1pm, no problem there. I ordered a Big Mac combo, the burger had about half a cup of burger sauce on it, what a mess trying to eat it, I would have taken it back but I was back at work and only had 30min lunch break, not impressed.

Absolutely disgusting branch lacking human compassion and understanding. I’m travelling with 3 children through North Island in a camper van and stopped by to order lunch for 4 and also charge my flat phone which i needed in case of an emergency during our trip. After explaining our situation and asking to give me an exception I was refused to charge the phone while being a paying customer. Shame on you! I will never come to this brunch again.

Never once have I spent longer sitting at the speaker box trying to order my food than waiting in the entire drive through. Absolutely useless, wont be visiting again. Had to tell them my order 4 times before they could even relay it back to me. The person on drive thru needs to be replaced by someone capable of doing their job properly. Wouldve given a 0 star rating but minimum is 1 star.

We had a bad experience this time round, ordered a double Pattie chicken burger combo and it had just one chicken Pattie and not much else. Two chicken cheese burger combos which had the sauce and lettuce squishing out the sides. All fries were virtually cold.Our drinks were great.Should have bought everything back but probably like most people we just binned most of our order and didnt bother but wont be back.

Was a tad busy and the food wasnt really that fast. In terms of cleanliness i would say it needs improving. In saying that i guess it does live up to the McDonalds standard and it was during new years with a lot of people around. Maybe it is more up to scratch in the off season. Food was fine.

Its a McDonalds: what else can be said? Sometimes its good and sometimes its not. Our experiences here as of late have been pretty good. They have a new system where you can order and pay for your food from a kiosk and skip standing in line. We tried it and it worked great! I will add the angus burgers are surprisingly good!
