McDonald's Levin in Levin

Not open at 6.20am.. Was told down 2 staff who didnt turn up for work an had to go threw drive in to order didnt have enough stuff on !!

Windows need a really good clean. Pretty bad.

No customers, but still waited 15 minutes to get my 6yr old a happy meal. Slowest McDonalds Ive ever been to!

Wanted a decent coffee and was not disappointed, advised best in town

Waited in the queue for 25 minutes and then was told they havent got milkshakes why dont they put a sign up whos managing this place

Extreamly slow service. Food was ok. Need to work on not serving thermonuclear fries in the kids happy meals!!

Got the coffee order wrong! Rectified quickly by a very friendly, efficient young man. Great attitude which sadly is sometimes not the case. Thank you!

Bloody paid $20 for a burger and they forgot the bacon and a chicken patty not going there again

Went in on the last day of school and although it was very busy the staff seemed in control did not have to wait long and order was correct.

I couldnt buy a coffee because there was no staff to make it and the food was up to there normal standard ☹

Worse Mcdonalds Ive ever come across. They actually dont care. I have atleast 30 examples, but I wont bother writing them because no one will probably bother reading it.

We were on a road trip to Taupp. Levin seemed like the logical choice for lunch as it was more or less half way between Lower Hutt and Taupo. We ordered our meals but since this McDs was under-staffed and advertising for more staff, our order came after some time. Still, nothing to complain about when it did come. The meals were piping hit as were the French fries. The place was reasonably clean though the floor couldve done with a mop. A consistent product, ideal for us on a road-trip.

Extremely slow drive through service and they totally stuffed our order up!!!

Useless, Ice cream and ice machine is always broken. If something isn’t working they need to atleast leave a sign out so that people aren’t waiting in line for all that time 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Very slow service to many staff standing around doing nothing.

Stop to get a meal Tuesday night,10.30pm there was this person putting road cones across the driveway, this person I initially thought WOW, she moved the cones and let us in, I wound down the window and said the very big elumenated sign say 24 hours, presumably you would think this store would be open 24 hours, to this the McDonalds employee said its only open 24 hours Friday and Saturday you F..k..g silly old c.. t and then proceeded to put the cones back in front of our vehicle all this will definitely be on there cctv, if this is the sort of people McDonalds employ and the way they treat pensioners they definitely need to look at who they are employing and to this employee I definitely hope someone will treat her in the way she treated me when she reaches my age, heres hoping

got good service but the drive thru was full so had to go inside. props to the workers on today, i know how overstimulating it can be to have multiple customers. loved it but maybe not put too much lettuce in the burgers apart from that the food was great.

Our granddaughter liked it apart from being given something she hadnt ordered, then being told they didnt have what she had ordered. She should have been told that when she ordered.

A normal McDonalds. Not heaps to say. Got drive thru, staff are fine no issues.

Long wait in the drive through and no fries in our bag when we got home! Terrible!

Nice and tidy and a good fast service. Would recommend if your looking at dining in. Good work team!

My sister Went into McDonald’s other day and my sister thought it was a correct order until when she dropped off to mine before she went to work was not happy with the service my Daughter had 6 pac Chicken nuggets happy meal she only received 4pc instead of 6 she didn’t get her sweet and sour sauce she was very upset I had another happy meal cheese burger we put no mustard or pickles they instead put Mayo in it which made my neice sick they were small meals they put a large milkshake and small 2 coke and small Sundae sundae was meant to be Large the milkshake was to big for my 2 year old I am not impressed orders were slow most look like they steering at each other look lost this was on Sunday 24th July 2022 around lunch time Hopefully next time things will be better.

Without fail stuff up the fries. Either cold, under flavoured or in the case of the last two times, just not there.

I havent visited mcds in over 6 months due to the slow service of the drive through & never getting the full correct order.... Just been back tonight & not a thing has changed, slowest service in levin & no serviettes in the bag when its takeaway.

Most unclean McDs I’ve been in. Also got our order incorrect twice. Cold food. Would not recommend visiting this one.

The slowest barista in the history of barista-ing. It was like watching paint dry - paint pour acrylic painting with no hair dryer type of paint drying, thick paint in the cold & damp uninsulated house in the middle of winter is the concept Im trying to get across here.She moved more slowly than an actual sloth 🦥 In fact, an actual sloth would have screamed at her to "hurry up!!"All I wanted was an egg mcmuffin & a black coffee. Ms Slow-mo Frame-by-frame took her sweet time with no acknowledgement of the frustrated faces of coffeeless people slowly congealing like my poor beleaguered mcmuffin in its paper bag. Even after shed made it (finally!), she just set it down on her side of the counter & proceeded to look uninterested in anything until I asked her patiently if that was my coffee. She looked at me confused, slowly looked down at the forlorn & cooling cup then back up. "What did you order?" With admiral restraint, I relplied through gritted teeth: " a black coffee." She then proceeded to take the lid off to check that the coffee she had just taken what seemed like hours to make, was indeed, a black coffee.I guess I should be impressed that that kind of spectacular incompetence aligned with a "dont care" manner & "I only turn up to work to get paid" attitude has found a home at McDonalds Levin. Im assuming the people of Levin either dont drink coffee or prefer it lukewarm. I, however, shall not return as I prefer mine hot & in less time than it would take me to catch a flight to Brazil, find a coffee plantation, pick the beans, dry them, grind them then apply & have my paperwork lost twice for an import licence, take a trip to briscoes to buy my own coffee machine & make the damn coffee myself.In fact, this review took less time to write than it took her to even begin the process of picking up the coffee tamper....in short, one star, do not recommend...

They take slow service to a new low, 45 monster from arriving to actually having a wrap in my hand. Yes thats FOURTY FIVE minutes.....if it would have been possible to get out of the drive through I would have

Sat at the drive through window for over 15 minutes waiting for our order. When it finally arrived not one word was spoken by the staff member she literally opened the window passed out the food , closed the window and walked away. I then had to park and go into the restaurant and get straws for the drinks. This is the worst service I have had at any Maccas world wide.

Nice staff and food but ordering threw the drive thru will take a bit longer

Everytime EVERY TIME I go through the drive thru at night I do not get the correct order.. I was sick of getting home to find missing burgers 🍔 so now I check before I drive away ALWAYS CHECK BEFORE YOU DRIVE AWAY again tonight YES AGAIN like every other time it was wrong - this time the girl fought me on it which made no sense because if course I was right? I knew what I paid for.. my own fault for even coming never again Im over it.. Not happy a customer 🤬

Hot chocolates were half full , meal was hot for a change and not luke warm.

U know what u are getting when u go to McDonalds so this review is about the experience ...Service was terrible. It was mid morning not busy and they still got my order wrong had to go back to get what I ordered ......after they checked on their screen first to make sure I was not wrong and all I got at the end was a sorry about that and its not like they had what i ordered made i had to wait again to get what i paid for. ..... oh and it was a Monday so it was not peak busy time. check your orders people.

My family and I were one of many many customers waiting for food tonight; there appeared to be people in the building who had waited for at least 45 mins and were furious, hungry and needing to carry on their journey.Obviously there had been something going on in the kitchen… because multiple staff had walked out of the building and no one acknowledged the mass of people waiting at the counter demanding refunds.Terrible service!! I would be expecting a lot of complaints after tonight’s episode…

Awful service, waited for our takeout meal number to be called for ages while all around us others were getting theres. When i enquired at the counter where 188 was it turns out it was just sitting there but no one bothered to call our number. I mean do they not pay any attention to customers waiting in front of them, or unclaimed food sitting in a bag right in front of them?

No pickles, chicken nuggets and no flavours on their frozen drinks available. Frozen coke tasted wierd... More chemicals than is normal for coke?

Fine. Fairly busy, food took a little while BUT they do deliver it to your table. Food was fine, tasted good but was put together in a rush (busy).Has a small playground, but great for younger kids and kids while just waiting for food to arrive. Fairly clean, again esp. given how busy they were.

Dropped in after being stuck on the express way for a couple of hours, I think everyone decided to do that too. There was a lot of people, couldnt get to a ordering machine, wasnt anybody using them, just couldnt get to them. The table we sat at was sticky so I wiped it down myself, the table itself was really wobbly, we ordered the meal to be brought out and they didnt bring one of the drinks, i had to go looking for it, we ordered a happy meal with the book but didnt get it, we got a stupid toy which we left there. Toilets were clean

My 5 stars goes to the young worker that (I think?normally works early in the morning… there is a chance he rotates shifts however every time I see him it’s at about 5.30am. Tall guy with tattoos, very very friendly and helpful. Such a positive attitude. Have provided feedback on his customer service multiple times. Hope the bosses pass feedback on and appreciate him! Unsure of his name but every time, 10/10 service.

Ordered 4 drinks, waited a very long time so asked front counter about it, then they said they didnt have those flavors. How come they didnt tell me when i was ordering food. Plus the frozen cokes dried up so we had to throw them out, and my blueberry flavored drink turned green. Would not come again if my life depended on it

No ice cream or frozen drinks. Had to go around the drive thru twice because someone forgot a burger. Started our order at 11.05am, left the place at 11.55am. Service was good tho, just took ages.

I saw a $6 Cheeseburger Lunch Buster meal advertised on TV so tried it. The food was well cooked and tasty. The hash brown was particularly yummy. I took the chicken mcnuggets instead of the ice-cream sundae as I chose a hot chocolate to drink; it was mixed well and had a good number of marshmallows floating in the cup. My friends coffee was delivered to the table first with a friendly smile, too early I thought because if it had been mine I like to drink after I eat and the coffee would be cold by then. The paper mat in the tray was informative and interesting to read. Table was clean. Restrooms were clean. I noticed an out-of-date poster on the window but maybe people dont read the fine print at the bottom.

Whole restaurant smelt like a toilet.Very disgusting.Floors was very sticky too, wonder if they used the same mop from the toilets.Not all staff wearing gloves whilst serving food
