McDonald's LUTON - CHAUL END LANE in Luton

Worst McDonalds we have ever had. Was not busy at the time of night we came and they were not able to handle such little orders and it just seemed like no one knew what was going on.To top it off the food was stone cold when we finally got it.

Giving 4 stars is generous and the only reason I’ve given 4 is because of BRENDON - he gets a 5 star, AMAZING customer service, fab smile, genuinely helpful and nice! The best worker you have there!I absolutely CANNOT stand a girl called ALEENA she clearly had a crush on my husband after learning he’s married she now gives me dirty looks and literally throws the food at me! -1 you home wrecker grow up. You’re there to work, not to flirt with other people’s husbands.

Poor staff quality and not clean.Been there today about 12:00 to order drive thru, when I arrived home I saw my children happy meales incomple instead of burgers it was chicken nuggets and two happy meals drinks missing as well.Chips was not fresh and oiled.Next time Im gonna return all the food and show them to respect theyre customer.

Very very poor service they send cars in car park from drive throw than waiting for ages than there is a funny part staff come out with no clue flying around with order with no information who it’s belong to worst one in Luton

Like any other place (BK, KFC and the like), its a fast food establishment. Take it or leave it.

The food was satisfactory but I am curious why this McDonalds doesnt have a system of checking if sauce is offered or packed when Chicken McNuggets are ordered.

Great place and friendly staff. In my experience this is the First Mcdonald where I find the staff smiling and greeting customers.... Good job

Slow and normally wrong, I try not to use this place, never been impressed,always disappointed… 20 minutes later, no sign of delivery

Its a Mcdonalds... But one with consistently some of the worst, slowest service with poorly cooked food, undercooked chips, cold burgers and flat sodas. Sometimes, rarely, their food doesnt suck.

I asked for no mayo as I am allergic, so they asked me to wait at the parking bay so they make a fresh one, and they promptly delivered my order to my car.... But it was too quick.I got home and the burger had mayo in it., glad I did not bite into it as it would of given me anaphylactic shock.I also paid for two apple pies.... Not givenI only found this out after I got home.

Ordered from the just eat app. Food came about 2 hours late and was stone cold. Driver said he’d take it back and get me fresh food didn’t bother coming back. Driver was assigned at 21:30 but driver wasn’t at restaurant till way after my estimated delivery time. So I’m baffled as to why McDonald’s staff allowed stone cold food to be delivered makes no sense.

Just what we needed at 10pm!Certainly loving the Vegan Burger.Drinks always overfilled with ice - Why is this still a thing even these days.

Avoid. Stroppy manager tonight snatched the food out of my hand because I had the audacity to point out my food was cold. She returned fresh fries and microwave burger.

Thier wi fi does not work properly, can not pre order food, rewards not working.

Outside tables are the added are the plus in this Mcdo. You can enjoy your coffee or meal without the aggressive frying oil.

Drive thru a bit tight but does the job. Quick service for sure. Service OK. Good overall

The fries were pathetic, the staff unwelcoming, and access to the toilets was forbidden, including to customers, because they said no key. So let me understand that the staff must resist an entire shift without going to the toilet. At one point, a man from the street who smelled terrible lay down at the table next to us and I couldnt resist anymore so I went out and I dont recommend this unwelcoming and dirty location to anyone from all points of view.Also, the childrens tablets that dont work either.

1st window; Poor customer service skills on taking orders via drive thru, sounded like a road man on the other end. Upon receiving order on 2nd window; not even asked if wed like any sauces or napkins etc. They just hand over the food and expect you to drive out. The worse thing is; not one of them know how to smile! A smile is a curve that keeps everything straight. And it certainly goes a long way...

Terrible service, which let me go over just over 2 hrs. Now fighting a parking charge. Manager is a sullen teenager who has sold her soul to satan.

Its MacDonalds what can I say, as MacDonalds go its a good one the staff are very polite, they could clean the tables a bit more oftenThats about it

Just got home after I ordered 2 meals, the Italians ones, 3 sides of mozzarella diapers and 2 triple cheeseburgers only to find out that 3 mozzarella dippers is only one and without a receipt in the bag so I go back.Last time when Im going to buy something from Mcdonalds

Disgusting. They make chips too soon so by the time you get them they’re stale. They make ice cream too early so by the time you get it, it’s runny. Their burgers are a hit or miss. They’re either nice, or stale lukewarm/cold and smothered in sauce with more cheese on the box than in the actual burger. Overall a disgusting place to eat at. It’s a disgrace to expect customers to wait so long for food only for the food to not be worth the wait. Marsh road McDonald’s it’s much better.

I managed to place my order through the app. Had to wait 7 minutes to collect my order. I got home and realise they had given me the wrong item. So I had to go back to the restaurant to get it corrected. I received no apology for the error they had made and it wasnt until I was leaving the car park for the second time I noticed the sign saying no return within one hour. TOO LATE! At that point it had already happened. Trying to get them on the phone is nigh on impossible. It just rings off

Food tasted ok but presentation was well below avarege with breakfast muffins falling apart

Dont even waste your time here, just go to a different Macdonalds. Restaurant is always dirty, service is slow. Even when ordering online, food arrives cold EVERYTIME and takes forever to get to my address- Im not even a 10 minute drive away.

The place was out of any organization. Was really busy and after waiting about 10 minutes for my order , when receiving it I had to wait another 5 minutes to receive the second soda. My meal was cold when finally sitting at the table 🙃And also the machine wasnt giving any ticket with your order, further the screen would not show my order when is ready to pick up. 🙄

Got 4 ice creams ,and all of them had exatly one spoon worth of ice cream inside. I didnt pay 1/4 of the price to get just one spoon of ice cream but regarding the price, that means it needs to be filled up properly. Just because its busy,it doesnt for me to not get it right.

Not the best of experiences at a mcdonalds. Order was wrong. I had to go back twice for things. Music, totally inappropriate lyrics! Food not very warm and rubbery. Understaffed. Plenty of room for improvement in all areas.

Terrible had to wait on order which was fine as ordering 40 nuggets and chicken strip meal got to commodation(3min drive)to find only 20 nuggets but extra strip chicken whole meal was cold after waiting!!!

I’ve never been to a McDonald’s which is more slow in my entire life this cannot be called fast food there are four people waiting for food and I’ve been waiting for over 25 minutes this is the third time I’ve had a terrible service at this McDonald’s the manager should be ashamed of themselves.

This is a terrible mac ds especially if you get delivery they never adhere to any requirements youve asked for and NEVER put the sauces in. I would recommend eating in if you want your food to be hot and what your asked for

Went their recently with my sons. The food was okay. My burger 🍔 was lukewarm and my fries 🍟 were only just over half full; also my McMuffin was slightly overdone/burnt and a bit dry. This McDs has seating outside which we were able to use to have our food in the sun. The table was dirty - had to get the staff to come and wipe it, which they did with no issues.

Large fries were missing from the order. No way of contacting the driver, no one picking up the land line number either.

Visited on Bank Holiday Monday to pick up food as treat for the kids. When ordering the person taking the order was extremely rude and spent most of her time talking to a colleague and was not listening. When we arrived at the window a girl serving handed me the incorrect order which I queried. She demanded "give me that back" and then proceeded to reprimand her colleague, whom she blamed for the mix up. In the middle of doing that she was not even looking at me and effectively threw the order toward me, which resulted in the contents of our order falling on the floor between our car and the hatch. We then waited at the secondary window for ages with some of our food having already been handed over which ended up being stone cold by the time we got home. Then they handed over the incorrect order, which was missing two burgers. When I raised this I was faced with a barrage of tutting and moaning. When they did bring the missing burgers, I then had to point we were missing all of the chips to our order. Cue more waiting. We eventually got the chips, which included a small complimentary bag of chips. Not much compensation for the rudeness and incompetence - a very poor customer service experience!

The presentation of the food was better than a lot of other McDonalds restaurants. I did have to wait longer than normal for my food though. 10 minutes is long for a quarter pounder meal in my opinion.

Local hotel food was dire, so in need of something to eat I wandered along to a local McDonalds in Luton. Ordered via the app and sat in store, quick and friendly service, food was hot and edible unlike the local Travel Lodge!!Cant beat a freshly cooked McPlant 😋

Extremely bad management, when you need to waiting 25 minutes to pick-up your food, the food come missing ingredients, I complained to the manager, and the response I received was that she was not the only manager on site…And all this was after given up on the drive through, as the cars were not moving at all… certainly a branch to avoid !

Really bad experience 5 times. I order hot chocolate they give just hot water. I order cheese dip they give me chiken wings. I order 5 meal deal they give just 3 pack fries. Really not gud we pay full amount they should gud quality food not just water ill never go there again

Last week my Big tasty had no tomatoToday it had 1 and when I asked they said they have been advised to do this because of a shortage

Struggled to get served, this is often the case, the ordering counter is left unattended.The cheese in my fillet-o-fish meal was stuck to the cardboard box and not in the bun. The apple pie was actually too cold to eat, had warm it in the microwave.Place looked a mess. It was packed with ubereats drivers, and looked quite unwelcoming. The staff seemed to be in a big mess, struggling to cope.

We ordered 7 meals from this restaurant through just eat , unfortunately we only received 6 meals , trying to get either the meal or a refund is ridiculous! The meal was a definite no and we have to wait 7 days for a refund into our bank , to take our money takes seconds so how come it takes so long to put it back? However we can get refunded into just eat account straight away???How difficult would it be for staff at McDonalds to check the order before sending it out ? I wouldve thought this was a given.

McDonalds like many others.Modern decor inside, adequate size for the area. Bit of a mess in terms of parking/drive through layout as most people seem to get confused - or is it the cannot read road signs?Been there few times for dining in, takeaways and also drive through.Nothing standing out either positive or negative.On one visit the toilets were a mess, one dispenser broken off the wall and no soap whatsoever, which I must say is rather odd for McDonalds in general.

I ordered fish o Filet and it had cucumber lettuce and tomatoes and in my chips it had hair . This was also a problem with my sisters her drink was a large and it barely tasted like vanilla and was like water and not even full to the top of the drink.Not so happy called and rude worker swore

I can only comment on the drive thru experience hence the 4 stars only.. Todays experience was seamless. The order was taken correctly, as was payment. The wait for food was minimal and when it arrived, it was correct, hot and fresh... With milk and sugars included instead of us having to ask for them.

Was really looking forward to my first Maccies since March. Went to this McDonalds as its the closest to my work. I opened my Big Mac to find mould on my bun and obviously I am unable to eat it. Disgusting! Called them and was offered a new burger. Why would I want anything from somewhere that is using mouldy buns?? Poor show McDonalds!!

Mcdonald Store in the retail park near luton is on two levels with seating upstairs has the new totum ordering boards so you dont need to queue at the counter to order your meal staff are frendly but busy this Store has the table top monitors that seem to be popular with younger childen. parking bays are shared by other nearby stores so can be busy at peak times.
