McDonald's Bowen in Bowen

The restaurant and facilities was disgustingly dirty and we visited at 6am. Tables filthy, floor filthy, toilets not cleaned. The counter we picked up our food from was dirty with coke spilled across it.The coffee was not nice. Lots of opportunity.

Server either wasnt listening properly or was hard of hearing. Either way order in the bag was not what I ordered.

Need to get a good team to run the shop looks like a circus in there 🤔

The dirtiest Maccas I have ever been in. Floors unsept or piles left in corners. Tables unwept. Napkin holders empty. Sunday afternoon and not at all busyNo excuses.

Usually Maccas is acceptable, but they forgot my apple slices. I didnt mind the classic angus burger but was so disappointed about the apple slices I couldnt enjoy it properly. We were also left waiting quite a while when this is meant to be a fast food chain. Macdonalds has let me and this country down today.

Incedibly slow , got orders wrong, soft drink flat, no ice, food on floor, tables not wiped, bins not empty, toilets needed cleaning.Clearly understaffed - so much would have been better with a couple more staff members

No good service and some time they gave another one so when you buy it something you need to double check it

So bad! terrible, Bowen store, stuck waiting in drive through for a good 25 minutes to get 2 of the kids a feed, no real apologies, finally get out of there and one gets Nuggets when she asked for a cheese burger and the other had very near zero lettuce and sauce on the chicken burger.

rudest staff ever, terrible barista, coffees are pretty good from maccas but not this one.

Got sick from eating here and called the restaurant to be told food poison doesnt occur there and refused to refund me

This is the worst MacDonald I have ever been dirty floors dirty tables the bins over flowing with rubbish. The stars where sliding behind the counter thats how dirty oily the floor was ..a one star rating is still to much.

Based on several visits... This store often cannot provide normal menu items. Would accept supply issues but this has been going on for months on core items. Second issue is the disgusting condition of their dining area. They make little effort to keep the area clean and would probably not pass a health inspection on most days. Third issue has been very slow service. Drive through as taken in excess of 30mins on several occasions. In these cases they did not seem busy enough to justify the delay. Overall this venue is the worst I have seen. For McDonalds which sets a fairly high standard across the country, this store fails to live up to the reputation.

Looks filthy inside. Online app seems to show a lot of menu items missing. Gone backwards badly

Customer service was great, chips were hot the only downside was it is a bit grubby.

Its situated on the main street. We walked in and there was 6 people in the line and a young couple standing getting their order. The staff member was having a lengthy conversation with these two and realised she worked there but on holidays. Another lady commented to them that there were others waiting . If your not ordering please move aside. Thats exactly what they were doing. While 6 of us waiting to the line to take our order. There were 4 or 5 staff on duty that we counted plus a line up at the driveway service. Customers come first not staff on holidays dropping in for a chat while ordering. Especially when your on a time frame to get back on the road to travel to the next location to get a flight back to sydney. Bad service Mc Donalds

Waited 20 mins to order and was just stared at staff and management. Walked out disappointed. Unlikely to return

Order the breakfast bundle with all sausage & egg McMuffins and none of them come with egg! Plus the hash browns were drenched in oil they were so gross we couldn’t eat them…

On a cool morning the thought of a hot coffee, hash browns ,and a bacon and egg McMuffin,was so inviting so I got a double meal, from friendly hard working staff..

Ordered 2 double bacon and egg muffins meals and two bacon and egg muffins on their own and 2 hash browns, didn’t received my 2 main meals. Staff should check bags before handing them to customers!

Please listen to the comments! Nothing works! Order machines dont print any receipts, the main computer screen behind the counter doesnt work so you cant pay by card or cash ( only on the order screenand the oldest kid behind the scenes is about 16. The owners of this store should be hauled over the coals! I am going to complain directly to McDonalds Australia this is atrocious in this this day and age!

Took all the grandchildren there for breakfast they loved the food and the play area they had a wonderful time.

Average service.. some days it goes quick and the food is actually good and hot. Other days they get us to park at the waiting spot and come out twice to ask what we are waiting for when we didnt receive our order.. probably really depends who is working that day

Over it those order machines are useless always breaking down wont be going back until a person takes my order

2 out of 3 coffees possibly the worst Ive ever had in the past 2 weeks - Bowen and Bundaberg! Roma Maccas coffee was awesome and they had the freshest muffins. 5 stars to Roma! Customer service in all 3 was good.

Been in the drive through line 12 minutes. Hope I get to order soon.Update: 22 minutes....Definitely getting pizza tomorrow night.Update: Decided to give them another shot. Lost track of how long Ive been waiting this time.Update: went again, wasnt so bad this time, only about 10 minutes but I didnt get the fries I paid for. Honestly this is the worst Maccas ever.

$4.50 for a latte I could not drink. First time I have been back to buy a coffee from maccas in 5 yrs. Shell Coles Express. 1 dollar coffee. 10 out of 10

5 stars to the male employee with red hair and beard. He is always super friendly and enthusiastic when serving unlike some other staff

Sick to death of being stuck in the drive through for 20 mins to half an hour. each time I come here, service is way slower than ANY other mcdonalds.

I came through this Macdonalds a week ago and ordered the Rebel burger only to be told they don’t sell them anymore.We came to this same Macdonalds this morning for breakfast and:* no soy milk to make a soy chai latte*hash brown missing from order* hot cakes were cold, then when I asked for them to be heated they brought them back so hot I couldn’t even hold the box!* to top it all off the air con was not working properly in the restaurant!Terrible terrible Macdonalds!

Bs service. Waiting 10 min already for someone to serve the 2 people in front of me without even the slightest assurance of being served soon. Now I remember why I never come here.

We only had drinks. There were no thick shakes on the menu but the new tropical frappe was delicious.The restaurant is quite small and crowded.

Bad services could not even get order right. They bring out your sundaes when you have a 5 minute wait on hot apple pies. When you told them not to give you your ice till the apple pies are cooked. Then they bring out melted sundae after waiting 10 minutes so you ask for fresh ones so they take it back and just put more ice cream on top. Not happy

Considering covid issues at the moment all tables were dirty and hadnt been cleaned floor was dirty. Staff were handling peoples drinks by putting their hands over the top of the cups instead of from the bottom. Ordered the new oz Angus but dont know what we actually got because half the ingredients were missing. The meal was cold. Will never go there again.

Absolutely filthy. Food order came out wrong.Ordered a breakfast item and they had no hash browns.Staff have no communication skills. They should be stripped of their privileges to own a franchise immediately.Also my dads meal had a pubic hair in it.

Food was average, the new MacRib is ok and the El Maco is disappointing, weak taste and no creativity.Otherwise, clean store, with plenty of car parking spots and next to a gas station.Service is mediocre, nothing new.Limited number of self-service kiosks, play area for kids and different seating arrangement.

This McDonalds is good. We went at 7:30PM, and it was surprisingly busy, but not close to full. Strangely, soft serves, sundaes and milkshakes were not on the digital ordering platforms. This was slightly inconvenient, as we werent sure whether they offered those menu options, but we asked and were served those options in a timely manner.

What is this? Isnt it too wrong with the picture? Its too small. The drive counter staff is too unkind. And most of the employees are unfriendly, too. Thats a real problem. It takes a long time for the food I ordered to come out.Im going to file a complaint with the head office.

This is the worst McDonalds restaurant I have ever been to they make so many errors and the food is not up to scratch the lettuce is always brown and wilted they never have gotten any of my orders correct I just purchased a spicy chicken wrap with Mayo instead of spicy sauce. I got chicken and lettuce brown as usual I asked the service attendee if it had coleslaw she told me yes!!! Where is my coleslaw?? Considering the amount of takeaways in Bowen and the amount of money they would be collecting the service and quality should be alot better. Shame on you McDonalds Australia.
