McDonald's in Childress

I ordered a coke, but it tastes like Dr pepper and coke, the guy in front of me ordered a diet Dr pepper, and thats what my Coca-Cola taste like. Those new machines is the reason, the food was normal, staff was great.

Didnt know which window to pay at after ordering in drive thru. One person in front of us...they were having good time with employee working window. Original crispy chicken sandwich with no pickles was the dryest, most unappetizing item Ive gotten anywhere in a long time. Glad thats not my regular McDonalds and I dont live in that town.

Dine in closed due to no employees. Sat for long time and they would not take order at drive through.

Fries were over salty, the burger was dry, cashier was not sure on how to take the order and playing on his phone.

The food is usually correct but the wait time is ridiculous. Ive worked in fast food before and I can understand it being slow when it gets backed up, but everytime I go it seems to take longer and longer. If youre looking to get FAST food I do not recommend. Youll spend anywhere from 5-15mins in the drive-thru usually.

Super slow, had us pull to the window to order our food (prob to save times). Ridiculous....food was wrong 😑

Took forever for person to even acknowledge me at speaker and then was very poor customer service . Fries were old and both my burger and McChicken were cold !

Its a McDonalds so not much to expect but it was a bit dirty and staff might have been all new they didnt seem to have it together and there was a lot of smoke coming out of the kitchen dont know what happened.

Very rude service at the drive thru. The young man at the window basically threw the food at us in crunched up bags and forgot part of our order. Ty e cheese burger was in the bag unwrapped. Very disappointed!!!

Ordered breackfast and it was burnt. The taters were very greasy and cold.

Drive through took over 30 minutes, though there was only about 7 cars in line. Several workers had headphones in. Not a big deal unless you aren’t doing your job.

I orderd pancakes they didnt give me syrup forcks my coffee didnt have sugar they didnt give me straws

Stop for breakfast on our family road trip. Good service, got our orders right, the restroom was clean and we all happy and ready to get back to our destination.

The young man working the register seemed lost and confused and could not for the life of him understand that a plain biscuit means just the biscuit and does not include meat. I hope he gets the training he deserves. The ladies were nice.

They are short handed like everyone else, but it doesnt matter how many times I go you can never get salt and pepper when you ask for it. Never

Terrible customer service and severely mediocre food. Burgers werent even warm, and we dined in.

Food was decent, staff not pleasant, napkins and ketchup are under lock and key. Fries cold by the time they finally helped me and they were snotty. So much for being a fellow Texan.

They charged me everything separate instead of meal deals making my tab more expensive. Horrible service will not recommend

One door is broken and blocked off, seems like a fire/safety hazard, and they did not have any soft drinks when I went in as their machine was broken.

This place sucks!!! Supposed to be fast food but I’d of gotten my food quicker had I gone to vernon and came back to my hotel here in Childress. Need new employees place is a joke!

After being on the road for almost 5 hrs that morning, we pulled over for breakfast and the drive thru was fast, from taking our order to the window. The lady there was nice and cheerful made sure to ask if we needed anything extra.and sent us off the have a great and a smile. Its been awilhe since we been to a drive thru and actually had amazing service. We went through there on 6/23/22 @ 730am, late doing my reviews.

Always great service and the food is ways on point. Celebrating 43 years of Irish nachos. Heres to another 43!!!

This store is so clean! The food was fresh and came out fast. The employees were friendly, especially the lady with the yellow bow. The manager even came out and checked on all the guests in the lobby. Best Mcdonalds Ive ever been to.

Just like 90% of all mc donalds the ice cream machine wasnt working service inside was extremely slow

Came through on our road trip. Used the kiosk inside to order. Kiosk didn’t print a receipt. Didn’t think anything about it. When our food came out, it didn’t have the bottled orange juice (only option on the kiosk). So I went up to the counter to get it. I explained the issue. The lady at the counter got really loud and confrontational. She said we don’t have the bottled orange juice. We’re under new management. Then she asked for my receipt. I said it never printed it. She acted like she was getting the juice -came back and said I didn’t pay for it. I said yes I did. Then she came back again and said here. She gave me a orange juice from another order. And again loudly said I didn’t pay for it. It was crazy! I would have given the location a zero at this point. The change was while we were eating, a gentleman came in the restaurant. He started going around to everyone in the dining area and asked how everything was. We told him briefly about having an issue over an orange juice. He said he recently took over the location. He apologized and said he was working on some issues. He gave us a card for free meal since he found out we were traveling. He was very genuine and kind. Before we left, he brought my husband a bag of free hot chocolate chip cookies and a donut for my daughter. He said enjoy them on your trip. Kindness goes a long way.

It was probably the worst fast food place Ive been to in years.The food was Luke warm the building was smoky and the service was very slow.

Longest wait for poorly made food Ive experienced in life..stop at this one because its just where I generally get hungry on my drive to Dallas,was 30 minutes on a couple chicken sandwiches.. extremely poor experience

The food was cold, fries were awful. Service was EXTREMELY SLOW. Whole place was smoky when walked in. Overall dirty. Staff was wearing heavily soiled clothes. No tray for dine in.

While driving ftom Denver to Dallas, I decided to swing through the drive through at about 2pm. All I ordered was a burger, fries and large coke. From the time I ordered, to the time I got the window was over 10 min. Ok, theg should just hand me my food right?? Nope I sat there for 5 min while I watched 5 workers mill around inside. So much for "fast food ".

Took 23 minutes to get to cheeseburgers. They werent busy only two customers inside. Not sure how busy the drive-thru was.

Most unpleasant experience ever couldnt even get a refund cause the cashier disappeared waited over 45 min for my meal this place definitely needs help

Arrived at 10:10 a.m. tried to order 4 of the $2 breakfast sandwich with a hash brown. They didnt have the resources to make this happen. I asked about other breakfast options. They couldnt accommodate that either. So I asked about lunch... the cashier, possibly a manager based on the uniform, said they didnt have lunch either but they were working on it. Poor management which lead to even worse customer service... not to worry though, Taco Bell was more than able to feed my family.

#0 min wait for 2 Order of Fries!!! Yep - Two Hours! Everyone standing around half way working. The guy at the counter was doing his best. Overall I would give them a zero for customer service. They all need to be replaced by robots and manager needs to be replaced.And For Bonus points - Take milkshakes OFF the menu since you dont know how to keep machines running.Go anywhere but here.. gas station donuts would be better...

Its just like every other McDonalds, nothing much different. This visit was my first meal break after 12 hr drive. I looked forward to it and got an absolute disaster, for one I ordered a plain double cheeseburger due to allergies and they seem to have forgot, added condiments and literally scrapped them off. Good thing for EpiPens. The second meal was just not edible due to the ridiculous amount of salt that was added.

I dont expect much from McDonalds, but give me a break! I ordered at the kiosk so no chance I ordered the wrong thing, and I ordered 2 of the same things. So after ordering 2 sausage mcmuffin meals and watching the girl deliver food to peoples tables that ordered after we did, imagine my surprise when she just yells the number on our table tent. After going and getting our food we noticed instead of 2 sausage mcmuffins, we received a mcmuffin and a mcgriddle. Take it back up to switch it out and get ignored.

It was McDonalds, what can I say? Average food. Short staffed, long wait for food. The staff that was there did their best.

Just left this McDs. The service was poor! Ordered big breakfast with pancakes. They did not have pancakes. So changed to just the big breakfast, was told they have no Hashbrowns. Asked what they could put in place of the Hashbrowns? They said another biscuit, so got that. When they gave me the meal they did not provide plastic wear, salt/pepper or jelly for the biscuits. Then the restrooms! In the womans, the TP was on the floor, both holders empty, also no paper towels. The mens restroom was filthy!!

1 star for food, extra star because the lady taking drive thru orders was cheerful. Biscuit was a hockey puck, I had to completely toss the bottom half. There was eggshell in the egg McMuffin. Hash brown was leaning towards undercooked. Bleh.

Super bad drive-thru service I asked for more ketchup and this girl (African Americangive me an actitud saying ( there was no more ketchupI bought 6 breakfast and she give me 6 ketchup. Not recommended at all.

Seriously the worst. I would recommend keep driving to anything else. Got order and it was missing multiple items and the bacon add ons. Turned around to walk in to correct. Lobby closed. Drive through only. Get back in line to explain missing items and add ons. Turns out they didn’t have bacon and but were happy to not remove charge when I drove thought. Talked about missing items. They remade and then still gave me the wrong order. Seriously so disgraceful. Not going through a third time.

It was great experience with Christin(she has beautiful nail art on her nail).She has professional behavior and big nice smile. Ask her and give her good vibes to you.

First time using the Kiosk to order, not impressed! Really prefer a human connection but oh well, I guess McDonalds likes employing less people. The food was good, Im a big fan of their French fries. My husband and I did not appreciate the manager, shift supervisor or whatever she is. She was yelling and I mean yelling at her staff. Extremely unprofessional and made us extremely uncomfortable so we grabbed our food and left before she yelled at us.This happend early evening on March 29th in Childress, TX (just in case McDonalds wants to visit with this supervisor).

Really busy given the influx of spring breakers driving back from Colorado, but we eventually got our food with only one issue (wrong drink order). It is easy to scream and yell (and a lot of people werebut frankly they were overwhelmed so we let it slide and got back on the road.

Slow service. Food products werent the best, fish sandwich was like cardboard replaced it with a chicken sandwich, but the young lady was glad to help. Not all sodas were available or were off taste. Needs to be remodeling, entrance is wrong not enough room, people entering and existing, bathroom to the right and cashier right to the left, flow is wrong.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I don’t think I’ve ever got the correct order here. I ordered a large iced coffee with no ice so I didn’t get a cup full of ice with three sips of drink as easy ice isn’t an option. There’s no peppermint in my drink, it tastes like the old coffee from the pot that got forgotten on the back burner was dumped in with a little bit of steamed milk. It took over 20 minutes to get the worst cup of coffee I’ve ever had. I know I went to McDonald’s for coffee, so my expectations weren’t really high to begin with. But this is just disgusting 🤮 so disappointed.

Foods not the best my food came slow then it was cold. Best look at There fish .why i only get half a piece of cheese

Good morning ok update lobby should be open according to a paper inside by the register. But outside they have this paper on the picture. The door was lock and I nock because I am driving a 40 foot trailer that it will be impossible to fit in the drive thru 🤔so . If you are Not driving a small vehicle dont even stop because you can even used the bathroom. Service was quick.

Service was rather slow, and staff werent the most friendly. They failed to properly make a big mac (see picand also didnt give me either of the 2 drinks I had ordered. They took so long I just left.

for some reason it took forever to get my food there wasnt a lot of people in line before or after me but I still have to go wait in the parking spot for them to bring my food. When they brought it didnt even bring me my mocha frappes and then Id wait even longer. Next thing you know 25 minutes later go ahead and say goodbye to fast food thats for sure
