Ben Yehuda St 7, Jerusalem, 9462404, Israel, Jerusalem
Classic, long-running fast-food chain known for its burgers, fries & shakes.
Took forever to get food, 40 min plus and they ran out of tomatoes for burgers
Worst McDonalss Ive ever been. Slow, dirty, we didnt receive what we ordered. Dont go there.
So cool that a kosher one of these is a thing!!!!
Don’t come here unless you have a decade to wait for your order.
Outrageous prices!!!! And dry small portions. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. No real food under 20 sheckles and only 2, very overworked, employees...they deserve a raise especially are those prices!!
One time for the experience, otherwise other better choices in terms of food taste and certainly value, though fries quite tasty.Be careful as not all are kosher
Great food but the service is by the worst in thr world
Very good McDonalds, but the second toilet upstairs is always closed for some reason
An amazing place for burger.Double burger is low fat and very tasty.
Tasted alright. Except after I vomited like 10 times which was extremely painful. BE CAREFUL!
A decent mcd. Gluten free burgers on the menu! Nice staff.
The service is bad, the staff fights, we waited for a long time, I received my order minus twice, I went back to it twice to order what I ordered and she did not respond, the food was burnt and the cleanliness of the place is really bad I dont understand why the staff is a group of idiots kids😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Nuggets arent tasty and are expensive.I got the McFlurry on a different occasion and its how its supposed to be, but definitely not worth what they charge. Better off going to Katsefet or Aldo for ice cream for about the same price.
The vegan burger is what I ordered, it tastes like the same vegan patty that new deli uses.
At 5 p.m. it was very crowded. Three clerks came to take my order, but soon left "wait here." "Ill back.". But they were too busy running around thruout the store. Finally a you woman who spoke Arabic & English came to ask what I wanted. I told her, she took me to the sign-in order area, because I dont like those machines with all the choices. She ran the machine, took my cash& gave me my receipt & change& she td me shed be back. In some 5 minutes she was back with my take-away order. I tried to give her a small tip,but she declined, smiled & said please come again. How rare such behavior by employees these days in Jerusalem. I went to this store branch because usually the other McD store on the street behind Ben Yehuda has such slow, phone- talking, & usually unhelpful workers. They have hired very young, poorly-trained Arabic-,speaking, inexperienced women who dont know how to respond to Israelis. The boss there is clearly paying these women low wages so as to raise his profits. The old McD store that was there 5 years ago had a fantastic crew of clerks/ ,employees who were wonderful workers& the customers always got best service & friendly receptions when they went there.
We paid 140 shekels for dry meat and diluted drinks,Also the “potetos” and fries were mushy and not crispy at all.I’ll never come again.
The box seen in the picture contains a hamburger, which isnt what I ordered. After I opened it and realized the mistake, the staff were very nice and immediately replaced it with what I had ordered.
I cant stress enough how nice the self-ordering screens have been for this establishment. Limiting my interaction with staff to the greatest extent possible makes any dining experience more enjoyable. That aside, its McDonalds - you know what youre in for here.
We ordered chicken nuggets. Our friend ordered a yummy hamburgerThey were piping hot and we got good service.
Very yummy and fast. They have very cool screens for ordering. The fries needed a bit of salt but otherwise everything was great
You order at an electronic kiosk in עברית, English, or Arabic. There are options to personalize the burger on the screen. You need to understand Hebrew numbers when they call your order number, but the numbers are also all up on a screen. Since I speak Hebrew, I dont know if they will change to English when needed. The food is less greasy than American McDonalds, which changes the taste some but is healthier.
I realize I was an American visiting Israel. I also realize that it was five or 10 minutes before the Sabbath. what bothers me most is the people in this McDonalds would not allow me to get a diet Coke, even though it was still before the Sabbath. I understand their religious convictions regarding this time. however, business is business and youre in the business to make money and if your holiday has not started yet then do business.
If you want to feel back in America, tis the place.American efficiency. No surprised. Everything is automated. Probably the only place on Israel where you can get a real size Coke.
Visiting Jerusalem and paid $25 USD for two burgers and one small fries. The cashier help us with the self order screen. She sold us Mega burgers. Said Israel doesnt have normal size burgers like in the US. I left 3 quarters of it. That burger is unsafe given the calories and fat. It was a waste of money. Complained to the cashier, but didnt care.
Service was fairly poor (dont pay the extra to have someone deliver food to your table - they wont), fries taste like home, meat was not bad but obviously did not taste like normal. Good portions otherwise.
Clean and friendly. A bummer that its kosher, people could use a place to eat on Saturday. The Jewish Taliban (Hasidicskeep the city ultra conservative.
Its a nice place to eat out. As maybe you are aware or not but in Israel usually they dont sell milk product and non veg thing together. So you have to make two order if you want to have coffee or icecream with burger. This place is nice and kids friendly.
Pleasently surprised. Decent eating out option with kids.Fast service, vegan options (corn schnitzel and salad), clean and reasonably priced.Kids like the prizes... Will probably come again
Dont come here unless its essential that you maintain a kosher diet. Poor service and expensive. So not worth it.
I didnt like the place at all. The meat didnt have sault in it. The potato which we paid extra shekles for was too small. And the toilets were very dirty the floor and the stairs were dirty too. No napkin provided with meal. We had to look around to avoid going down again. The prices are not reasonable for such a meal. Provided a picture for the descusting toilet.
Its cool restaurant the lunch and dinner foods are in one part of the restaurant and the deserts are in another to make it kosher but a part of me wishes that they would serve veggie burgers so they could serve veggie burgers with cheese.
Good food bad service. The store has all and only muslim arab workers that treat you with disrespect, not even one jewish worker in the entire joint, its very bad the mcdonalds mixes politics with service.
Its McDonalds, but the quality is better than in the States, because of kashrut requirements. Love the ordering screens, so theres no need to interface with any humans and be subjected to human error. Bathrooms are gross.
2 out of 3 visits to get ice cream was for naught. They were closed whether at mid day or evening. Dont bother waiting in line inside the restaurant to place the order to pick up at the pick up window. It may be open even with no one in the booth as the person serving doesnt stay there. You have to track someone down in the meat restaurant to get you your order.
Its a kosher McDonalds, and its clean and modern. Theres no play area, though, and the fries are overpriced. There arent any good deals here. Theres a novelty in a kosher McDonalds, but not much beyond that.🍟
Exactly like you would expect, without the cheese. However, if you are coming from the States, be aware that the sodas are much smaller here and that there is little sauce or onions, so ask for extra. You can order electronically in English or Hebrew and pay at the machine or at the pick up location. There is a public bathroom also.
Sorry to be disappointed by that branch, location is great but the food quality is not. It is not well prepared and lack of freshness. Maybe employees are not trained enough in the Hamburgers preparation. Also it is very crowded and restaurants need to cleaner as well. It seems small from the outside but there is a second floor.
Not a bad place for McDonalds. The place is clean but a bit small. The staff are friendly but the language barrier between English and Hebrew is noticeable. The ordering machine however can be switched to English but its a but hard to find at first. The food is very dry and costs a lot of money. You can eat for the same price a decent meal at the Notre Dame Hotel which is close.
Vladimir, an employee, is awesome! So friendly and a cool guy with a neat background. However, the food here is average, but the prices are SO EXPENSIVE. $1 per nugget?!?! No thanks. The restaurant is pretty small, but it was clean and the hours are great!! Much needed stop on a midnight shopping spree.
Unfriendly and rude staff in this McDonald’s tonight #order 186 21:45:57 14/05/2018 !The guy crew member snapped his fingers at me as a « welcome » hurry up !No hello, no thank you, neither a smile ! Unacceptable and non professional.Very bad experience here.
Tasty food, quick service. Place is not too crowded, quite cozy. Very expensive compared to other countries. Credit card companies offer discount coupons so make use of them if you can. You also get a 10 NIS discount coupon on your receipt for your next meal if you purchase over 50 NIS.
Very tasty hamburgers, fries, and diet sodas. The food ordering process was a little intimidating at first, but turned out to be not difficult. A tip: if you make a mistake during ordering, dont try to go back; its easier to exit, and start over. The food is prepared beginning after you pay, but there wasnt a long wait.
Well, its kosher. Fine. But it is still McDonalds, so it really is trash. The interior is ugly and uncomfortable. But I guess it makes some people feel at home. Americans seem to flock there.
The quality is not so good. The meat was dry and the bread soggy. The bathroom... You need to get a coin which u put into the door handle which would open the door, exept it doesnt. I myself am a local and watching tourist try entering the bathroom and failin completely angered me. The cashier, cook, are all arab teens. Nothing wrong with that exept when i try to order they cant even speak hebrew or english. One of the cashiers is 16. I dont get this. They take it as a joke and are really lazy. If you want to go and have a proper meal i suggest goin to new deli.
I mean, its a McDonalds. Theres nothing too out of the ordinary about the place. The food is of the same quality youd expect from McDonalds, and not very much to my taste. The burgers are very, very dry. But the rest of the meal is enjoyable, especially the fries. The place is nice looking, and the self-ordering stand is a great idea. Not too crowded as well.
Nice food but needs clean better
As someone who has kept kosher since a teenager, I was excited to visit Jerusalem and try kosher McDonalds. I was very disappointed and upset at my experience though...They had electronic kiosks for ordering (and customizingyour meal, which was new to me. This seemed easy enough. I was perplexed by the "fish" option in the main menu, under which there was absolutely nothing with fish... The kiosk I used refused to accept any credit card I used with a "communications error" after many tries, so I had to pay at the counter - no big deal. Not sure if the woman at the counter actually understood my English or not when I tried to explain the problem. There was certainly no sense of understanding or friendly look... She just loaded up my order on her register, waited for me to swipe, and gave me the order receipt. The interior was rather sparse with just a few tables and little decoration, and looking nothing like a McDonalds I remembered from my youth. We ended up ordering three items: a Big Mac with added tomatoes, chicken nuggets with sweet and sour sauce, and a salad with tahina. After a while, they called my number and I picked up my tray. It was immediately apparent that they forgot the tahina for the salad, so I went back to the pick-up counter to ask for some. I had the unbelievable experience of standing there trying to get the employees attention for over 5 minutes (not an exaggerationwith "excuse me" and the Hebrew equivalent ("slicha"). He was standing right on the other side of the counter from me and ignored me completely, periodically turning around and walking away to work on other things or arranging other orders on the counter between us, etc. After a few attempts, I thought "maybe Im doing this wrong" and went back to the cashier that placed my order (the only cashier), and tried to explain the problem to her. I showed her the receipt and stressed the word "tahina" in case she didnt understand English and she shouted at me (in Hebrew"There for tahina!!!" pointing at her fellow employee at the pick up counter and then going back to her station and doing nothing other than ignoring me. So I went back to the pick-up guy and tried to get his attention for several more minutes even though he MUST have heard me there. When I finally managed to stick the meal order receipt right in front of him, point at "tahina" and tell him they forgot it, he had someone from the kitchen pass a little container forward and gave it to me, and then he went back to his work without a word. Then I went to enjoy my meal, and discovered they didnt put the tomatoes on the Big Mac and forgot to give me the sweet and sour sauce for the nuggets. After the previous ordeal, I decided it wasnt worth it...What kind of customer service is it to ignore your patrons and/or shout at them while failing to provide the specific items which were PRINTED on the order receipt???That said, the food itself tasted more or less like McDonalds fare that I remembered.I give it two stars only for the novelty of getting kosher McDonalds. If I could rate them separately, Id give it zero stars for the service.
McDonalds in Jerusalem? If your visiting from the US its very different (higher qualityand more expensive. Everything is kosher so its a lot better quality than average MCDs in the states. Its almost like a five guys but the burgers are bigger. Its worth doing once if you are in town for a while but stick to the local food.
In the evening nice and quite place on the second floor.Вечером приятно тихо посидеть на втором этаже.
nice staff, the place was very clean. it had AMAZING music - David Bowies greatest hits! the food served was hot and tasty. very recommended place compared to other options around!
