Closed at 10:55 on a Saturday night. Brutal. Don’t even try to get food here if it’s not the middle of the day.
Pulled into the drive through at 1:30 PM. The line was very long. This is to expected during the lunch rush. I waited patiently until it was my turn to order.Speaker:Can I have you order?Me:I will have 2 quarter pounders with cheese and a large fry.silence.......Can I have your order?I repeat my order...Silence......Can I take your order?.I repeat my order louder thinking she cannot heat me well enough..Through the speaker comes:DON"T YELL AT ME!!!Me: leaving this McDonalds for the last time.I have lived in Fairview Hgts since I was a little boy in 1969. I attended the Grand opening of this store sometime in the 70s.It has gone down hill so far that I will drive to the Ofallon store, (which isnt much betterbut they have a working drive thru and manners.McDonalds needs to pull the plug on this team.Burger King is just around the corner, and they DO have manners.
Missing items in an order, rude customer service, doors locked before posted times, slow service, did I mention rude employees? Eh, the fries were hot at least. Do better Ronald!
Sat at the speaker in the drive through for five minutes and couldn’t get anyone to answer. They find ally did and they were not friendly. She just said to hang on then didn’t come back. I left.
Rude not friendly fries were old, for 3 people it was almost $30.00 at least they could do is give hot fries
If my baby girl didnt like McDonalds Fries I see no use for this place. 😤
Messed up my order everytime ask for burger no cheese they put extra cheese
I only went because my Grandson wanted the Mc Bib they let me down as usual went inside because they always get it wrong in the drive thru Waleed 20 minutes they said I forgot about you I had to do something else 😥
Not very happy with this location. I used the drive-thru to pick up a kids meal, a basket of fries and a chocolate shake. Of course, the shake machine was "down" but they offered a Mcflurry. I decided to just get that. I asked for the burger to be plain with cheese only. All the fries were cold and so was the burger which had everything on it. This was 7:00 at night and the drive-thru was slow and steady. This location mostly has cold fries and their shake machine is "down" on most of my visits. I will be going the extra mile to the Ofallon from now on.
I was using the drive though after 10pm and when I try to upsize my meal the employees didn’t know how or that they could do that. Not end of the world just very frustrating McDonald’s need better train there staff
Well Ill tell you what folks the best way to do it when you get your food is tell him that you wanted hot made to order and they have to cook it right then thats how I do it thats why my stuff is hot when I get it
This place sucked. Waited 30 mins on the curbside pick up and the food never show up and there is only one guy working at night when the drive thru line is hella long. if u cant afford to have more than one worker then dun provide too many service whats the point of allowing people to choose curb side pick up if u cant follow thru. Left w/o the food cuz my time is better spent somewhere else.
Very cheap breakfast, and it helped me get through the day. I like the sausage and egg McMuffin.
Unreal. They are out of shakes, ice cream cones, cinnamon rolls and the new pumpkin pies... They do have apple pies though. What a joke. Seriously, the manager of this store is being paid to much...
Ordered food and asked for a freshly cooked order of fries. What I got was and order of twice cooked fries that were dried out inside.Called in and the person claiming to be that manager was very unprofessional. She didnt even say she was sorry that my order was eased up.Maybe I should eat food from Wendys instead.
Of the area locations, this store and the Caseyville store are at the bottom of the list for service. Regularly missing food. Tonight when we came through we were missing food, and we werent given a receipt (intentionally?), the inside was still locked so I couldnt ask for fix there, and the drive thru was wraparound after we had already waited 30 minutes the first time around. Try to pick somewhere different if its an option.
Maybe I’m to blame for this because I keep expecting the restaurant to become an actual restaurant. Once AGAIN, they don’t answer their phone when you call and the ice cream and frappe machine (they might be the same I’m not sureisn’t working. I mean it’s one thing if the machines are not working but to not answer the phone and make you wait in line just to find out it’s not working is ridiculous. I mean I don’t know if the bosses read the reviews but do you not see that your restaurant’s rating is only a 3.2?!?!?
This is one of the worst McDonalds we have ever been. Forgot 1/2 of the orders on the drive through.
We had 2 big macs and shared a fry it was pretty good and we were starving. Took forever for anyone to come take my order or the gentleman in front of me. Several workers went by use but told no one we were waiting or even asked if wed been helped.
Not safe! I just went through the drive thru and the workers shouldn’t allow this! Pedestrians should never be allowed to use the drive thru, this is a McDonald’s Corporate rule, and very unsafe for the pedestrians.
Heard the Fairview McDonalds was under new ownership and things were better so thought why not try. Its not better. Drive thru is still extremely slow although I will say the employees are much nicer. The fries were cold and the bun to my burger was dried out and looked burnt on top. And this was dinner time so it wasnt like at an odd time. I guess back to Swansea it is.
Paid for the wrong order received the wrong food. It was corrected but toom forever and fries were cold.
If I could this place would get ig fat 0. Rude from 1st contact. The young woman taking our order acted like it was bothering her to take an order. She spoke so fast and wouldnt let you finish speaking to get your order in. So she was getting order completely wrong. Finally got that straight pulled up to pay and using the app 1 order was paid for, but she took money and again didnt listen slammed window shut b4 we could tell her. Got that straightened out went to next window to get food and was handed WRONG order bc I guess 1st girl didnt listen and put in whatever she thought we should get, then that young lady wanted to argue and say we couldnt make up our mind when we ordered so thats y it was wrong. 2nd girl tried to tell me she was manager when in truth she was floor leader. This place is horrible and corporate should shut them down and retrain the. I would be completely embarrassed if my name as owner was associated with this particular place.
Dont order ahead at this location! Wow! Said 5 mins when we arrived weve been sitting here for 20 plus mins . The husjust went in this is ridiculous! Meanwhile the drivethru has emptied multiple times.. we should of went somewhere else! Husband is not happy & kids are crying! What a Joke! Dont come to this location!!
They very rarely get my order right and almost never have icecream or they are too lazy to get it
Quarter pounder was hot but the basket of fries was very exciting not available at my local McDonald’s
Last night I ordered on the app from this location. First I went through the drive thru. I finally got to the speaker and nothing. No one answered me. I then decided to change my order to curbside. When I drove around the building I saw a girl in the window arguing with someone in a car. I assumed this was the reason for the delay so I waited patently. 45 minutes later I watched this girl pull out her phone and start dancing, digging in the back of her pants and deeply scratching her scalp. Not once did I see her help anyone or do any work. There must have been 7 cars waiting on their food and we all went home hungry. I was charged for my food and never got it. I am still waiting on my refund.
No exaggerating, Ive been waiting over an hour for my food. Had a worker come out after being parked 45 minutes to ask what I ordered. Still 20 minutes later, no food.
Late night shift really blows so if your coming from the pub choice taco bell or white castles there late night service blows and the shake machine is always down yet there breakfast team is in there job with a smile to get your day going in the right direction
We used the drive-thru for breakfast. We had difficulty understanding on the speaker. The board kept changing our order and price, so we didnt know if she had our order correct or not. Finally, we drove around and asked. She was very cordial. We got the correct food and drink. The blueberry muffins were inedible. As that kids said, "They were nasty." We threw them away. The egg muffin was tolerable at best. The egg was cold and tasteless. The English muffin was crunchy, hard, and dry.
Not the friendliest of locations. Drive through attendant was not the most courteous of individuals and my order I was handed was completely wrong both drink and food.
If this was the McDonald and East St Louis on 25th and State horrible my sandwich was horrible when I got it employees and manager was arguing in front of customers to another lady got into the argument with them service was so slow and unorganized I have never been in this place when it was like this it was nasty floor ones and clean water was everywhere the fountain was dirty where the Saudi ran out of and they got time to sit up and argue amongst each other where is the man that had this place because Ive never been in there and it was dirty please somebody called him and get him to check on his business going down
I have been here at McDonalds Drive thru for a hour. I received cold fries and no tarter sauce on my fish. I asked for extra tarter sauce. I waited15 minutes in line for a wrong order. So they took another 15 min to make new fish sandwichs. Now my Big Macs are cold. Asked for a refund and manager said no. . . My husband keep calling because I been gone a hour and the kids are hungry and still no food. My husband just came up now . This is allll bad
Horrible service. Girl taking orders in drive thru needs to be moved. was trying to order my food and she would constantly interrupt me, asking is that it? is that it? She clearly wasn’t very patient. btw this isn’t the first time either..
The girl at the drive through had STANK FACE the entire time. Not sure who peed in her coffee but, you might want to put someone more pleasant on the window.. IJS🙄
This is a joke right? This gem of a franchise is a rare phenomenon. The inmates are running the asylum. And they dont care about your order, how long youve waited, their jobs, nothing. Its almost as if youre getting trolled at mcdonalds. Its almost like they KNOW there will be ZERO repercussions for their behavior. That tells me management is just as bad if not worse. I rue the day I decided to come here, and as God is my witness...I will NEVER EVER EVER return.
Due Of Lobby Closed, Waited 5 Mins In Line, ( Sorry We Were Deaf People ToHold Up The Line We Couldn’t Hear Speaker So Sorry To Hold Up Line, Then Was Told To Pull Up Waited More ( It’s All Good I Work At Mcdonald’s And Has Pulled up Lots Of Orders That Has Same Trouble We Had, Only Made A Slightly Mistake But Those Crews Who Fully Understanding And Happily Replaced Our Order!! We Live 2 Hours away from this great McDonald and we will come back again!! i’ve been working for 31 years!!
Waited in the drive-thru, still had cold fries. Got our order wrong. Could look through the window and see dust on their order screen. Had looked like they hadnt cleaned in a while. Wont be going back.
This is by far the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. Long wait, got the wrong order and on top of that the food was cold. How can these employees think they deserve $15 an hour to not do their job correctly. No wonder they are being replaced by kiosks.
French fries cold and so was chicken nuggets. Was asked to pay again at 2 nd window. Showed the lady at window my receipt. Asked for honey mustard and received hot mustard. The lady that wanted me to pay again asked me if I ordered 2 kids meals I said no. This is not the first time it has happened. It sucked line was backed up in drive thru.
Cheeseburger wasn’t plan as asked, fries were cold and chicken nuggets were dried out and gross.
Usually I dont have much complaints about this location. I use to work at a McDonalds so I know from experience. But this recent new hire they have for a crew is terrible. They had myself and several others parked and it seems like they completely forgot about us because several people in line was getting their food ahead of us. And like I said I know from experience so I try not to complain but when I finally went inside to cancel my order I saw the worker who was supposed to bring me my food just talking away while my food was just seating on the burner🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
With the exception of the Caseyville location this is probably the worst Mcdonalds in the area. I strongly suggest whoever is running this particular restaurant to either go back to HU, or pass the responsibility onto someone else. Perhaps someone with a little more competence. In my order I received two sides of tarter sauce when I ordered mayo, my meat was dry and old, and my large fry was half full.
This McDonald’s made me very sick. I pulled through and they did try to hand me the wrong order but it was fine I made sure to check my order before I left. I bit into one of my chicken nuggets and there was something super hard inside of it. I spit it out and now I’m done with chicken nuggets for 8 years.. My cheeseburgers were extremely sour and I couldn’t figure out why. I’m just overall grossed out and did not have a pleasant experience here. I am now super nauseous. I hope this doesn’t ruin me for McDonald’s for the rest of my life.
I am going on 20 minutes waiting for a happy meal with at least 8 other cars waiting for their food also. I have been offered 3 other orders - make that 4 - thus far that were not mine. It is utter chaos…
Attempted to drive thru to order today. Person taking order kept talking to someone in the background instead of taking order. My husband attempted x3 to place an order and she could not pay attention long enough to get the order close to correct so we left. I followed up by calling and asking to speak to a manager. The person who answered the phone said he was such, gave me a name. I expressed concern over situation and he said "I dont see a problem." I asked for franchise owners name and he said he could not give me franchise owners information and also said his name was different. 🤷♀️. Terrible service. Terrible response from manager. So glad I dont live here to have to deal with this on the daily. Will be following up.
I got the Vegetarian & Tofu Pad Thai, it was delicious. I did get the level 4 heat and it was too hot for me; but I ate it all. Next time I will try the level 3. I called ahead of time and went inside of the restaurant to pick it up. Everyone working there had their mask on.
This restaurant needs some serious overhauling. Workers have no work ethics. We waited for them to finish their conversation between themselves before they took our order only to forget to put cheese on all the kids "Cheese Burgers". When I brought it to their attention the worker gave me a box with 4 slices of cheese to put on our burgers without a care in the world.....
Thank you for my rotten lettuce! If they would stop talking about where they are going to party and ect they might have noticed my lettuce was black. Dont recommend anyone to eat here!
This isnt your normal McDonalds. Upscale decor, feels more like a steak place. They bring your food to the table. It definitely didnt feel like fast food. There was a gaming monitor my kids played. All the employees made our visit more personal. They were great, a great group of people. They wed nice and funny. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area.
