McDonald's in Orillia

Has anyone else on here ordered a big Mac lately theyre terrible I order a big Mac combo the other day and honestly I had to show a supervisor the burger I told her Ive never seen such a thin pattie on a burger before, I said to her is this a big Mac just lettuce and sauce, I even order a large frie but it to seem like a medium what is going on at Micky Ds after this never again prices go up for less food

The 2 ladies at the window are fantastic to deal with Gerri and Shelley, always pleasant and smiling.

Please dont eat there... I ordered the New Grand Big Mac... It was a mistake in Grandiose proportion. First bite it was so dry I thought I was eating part of the box, I even looked twice to make sure... Im not at all ramming home or making this up at all.... I actually did look in the box and in the sandwich to see if paper was in is... Nope it was just the fibrous, flavourless meat... Two bites, tossed. Fries were cold. Coke was OK... If I say the truth it was a little flat... Yeah, McDonalds, No.

Worst McDonald’s location. Drive thru takes forever, I waited 20 minutes only 3 cars made it thru. I left the drive thru and went inside, there was a swarm of flies to greet me. The guy taking the order was unable to read. The burger meat was burnt. The nuggets had what seemed to be sand on them. Really dirty and horrible place. The owner should fire everyone and start from scratch. Shut her down and administer a deep clean.

I had the new McCrispy the other day and it was fabulous. Crispy, juicy and very tasty. I decided to go back and try the Bacon Deluxe McCrispy and was so disappointed. The bun was burnt, the meat overcooked and dry. I also wondered where the bacon was.

Nice. Staff were nice and friendly. Washrooms were clean.

Was late at nt drive through only took a bit of time to get through the order line and get my food but in their defense it was a very busy nt

Usually great service! More positive experiences than negative! Id say thats a plus for any McDonalds franchise!

I would not suggest going here. My boyfriend and myself went here for dinner last week and as we waited we witnessed the staff making our burgers not using gloves while putting toppings on our burgers !! Another lady asked to speak with the manager regarding this as she lost her appetite..the manager simply said " they wear gloves when they prep! " seriously!!! You are cross contaminating food and i did not see any hand washing while waiting the 10 to 15 min for my food!...the male staff scratched his head then touched our food again ! Absolutely disgraceful ! I couldnt even eat my burger when I got it because I felt sickly! Terrible feedback and brutal service!

So tell me why your false advertising saying your 24/7 when your not stop lieing that’s against the laws

The night manager Christine at this location is absolutely disgusting to her employees. She doesnt care about health and safety measures. She mentally torments new employees. Please re consider ever working nights here. Or maybe she should consider retiring? 🤔

Staff was fine, burgers were awful, tasted like they had been sitting out for hours, and typically of McDonalds the Ice Cream machine was down at 3 in the afternoon, conveniently while a coupon was available on the Mcds app

Terribly rude and when I tried talking to a manager she was worse. They need new Management ill never go back

20mon in the drive thru. Then 15min in a parking spot for them to bring out the food. Havent been to McDonalds in a very long time. Dont think i will be back.

Asked no cheese. Got cheese understood mistakes happen. Drove through again said what happened. Got new order. Still had cheese. Finally went in and asked why is this hard? Got no cheese.

The 2 locations in Orillia are the worst! The dining room closes early (I was there just after 10pm on a Saturday nightand the drive thru at the Memorial Ave location was slow moving and orders were delayed. I left and went to the one north of there and I was fifth in line, so I thought Id be successful in getting my order. After 10 minutes, the first car was still waiting at the ordering area. I left. Other locations on the way home appear to close early also, so I just ended up at the Tims at an EnRoute stop.

Went at 7 :30 for dinner playground closed already kids bummed no where anywhere does it say it closes at 7 online or in storeTalk about lazy people when I was a kid it was open till 11

There drive thru is slow on busy days takes 20 min to get through .

What the heck is going on for it to take 30 minutes to get through the drive thru. I work up the street and this happens almost every single time. It’s crazy

i called to put in an order for delivery cause there website said they deliver, called them multiple times and every time they hung up. finally got through and when u asked if they delivered, the girl gave an additude and tried to explain to me how they don’t do it like a little kid☹️

For a fast food place there drive though is so slow i waited 15min left and went to burger king. very sad managment

We pulled into the lineup for drive-thru, sat 10 minutes, person in front of us hasnt been served yet, we pull out of lineup and park, go in, but a sign on the door stating power outage., but no indication of power outage when we pulled into drive thru. When we were leaving, I noticed staff standing by a bus stop in front of McDonalds, they could clearly see us lining up for food, yet said nothing . We drove to the other location and found they also had no power and no staff, but there was a blockade in front of drive-thru to let drivers know. Wasnt a happy camper.

Slow weekend staff. Waited in a line of 2 for 15 minutes and had to leave without getting my food.

Clean and convenient location. Typical McDonalds. Stopped in for breakfast, McMuffins were good and made fresh, no standing. Ample parking and a drive-thru. Minutes from the downtown area and the highway.

They need to service their cola machine as it’s been out of service for orange fruitopia for about 2 months now 🤦‍♀️ And for some reason this location also does not serve root beer. They are a franchise and should be up to the franchises menu options, I have to drive father to the other location because of this reason. Please fit this!

Never usually eat at McDonald’s except for an occasional breakfast sandwich and now I know why! We ordered the BigMac and Quarter poundCombo’s … fries were barely warm, the meat on both burgers was burnt on one side and the beef Pattie’s were so thin and tasteless. The patty meat wasn’t much thicker than the cheese slice that came on the burgers. Seemed like mostly eating bun and not much else. Sure glad we didn’t pay full price for our meals as it was 2 can dine deal. Will probably never eat there again. McDonald’s sure has made changes to the size and quality of their food and not for the better!

Staff are friendly and hardworking, they make their best effort for us, the patrons. Always has my food been hot and fresh. OBVIOUSLY its not healthy, but who goes to Mc.Donalds to watch their health?

The app says table service but the tables have no numbers. I mentioned to a staff I was going to put table 999 and where I was sitting. When the food came the manager (?gave me heck that I should know they dont have table service. Not my prob if their app says they do. They really should apologize for their mistake and get the app sorted out.

This McDonald’s is one of the quicker serving locations I have been to. They have two ordering lines and restrooms are available.

Best customer service in town. I will start going here to get my coffee over tim hortons next door.

Went through drive through. Ordered. Paid. Told to wait as order would take a while. Waited 15 minutes. Went in and told them at counter. Received eyeball roll and dead stare over mask. The kid went to another person. I got the same dead stare over her mask as well. She made up my order. Went to give it to me only to have messed up that order putting bacon on it. She flung the order on the counter and made correct order. Another stare over her mask. Plunked order in my hand with no apology. Told her I wouldnt bother asking for her manager as obviously morale at this location sucked and it would be a waste of time.

They do pretty well considering the place has at most 3 people working there at a time. Commendable! Ran Ran Ruuuu.

The drive thru at this McDonald location is horrendous. Ive never been to a location this slow but the staff are very friendly. They just need to work on their efficiency with orders.

Havent eaten in a McDonalds in quite some time, really like the atmosphere, seating and lighting, very inviting and comfortable. Always know what youre getting at mcdonalds, quality is always there.

No root beer in the drive thru and they refuse to walk 5 feet to get if from the other dispenser

Second time I had to go back to get missing fries in a happy meal :(

So tired of the constantly forgetting food on my orders this is ridiculous, I don’t see a point in me spend 40+ dollars here when over half my order almost always get forgotten. Would not recommend to go to any of the McDonald’s in orillia.

We went into the restaurant and stood at the front counter waiting to get served. The team lead came to the cash and proceeded to enter an online order and completely ignored us! We just walked out. What has this world come to when people in person cant get service but if you use an app you can?Completely ridiculous from such a large and long standing chain restaurant that a real person comes last!

Food is typical for McDonalds, fast and accurate order. Staff very rude with their enforcement - very militant with ordering, cleanliness, masks etc even for individuals who have medical exceptions.

Food is always fresh and friendly service from employees, however they generally have two or three cars who need to pull in to parking spots to wait for their order.

Theres a male manager(?here that has gotten less and less friendly every month for the past two years. For some reason I always seem to hit this franchise for a coffee or breakfast while hes working. Probably late 20s, early 30s, dark brown hair, medium build. Seems to always be on, or near the drivethru. Ive worked in the food industry, I try to be as polite and friendly as possible.This last time, I misheard a question because he was at least two feet away from the window. I received the wrong meal, I apologized and let him know right away. He belittled me right at the window, and made a scene in front of my family and his coworkers after I already apologized for the error. The few people Ive told this story to all knew exactly who I was talking about.If you hate your job so much, do everyone a favor and quit.

Food & service are great! Really enjoy seeing all the long-term employees friendly faces. However our tea & coffees always seem to be quirky; not stirred, no sugar, or sugar instead of sweetener for my husband who is a diabetic, enough to set your day off in the wrong way. For that 4stars.

We normally enjoy McDonalds however, this was a very frustrating experience. We went indoors to order. Both kiosks were out and with only 2 people in front it took over 20 minutes to get through. Every staff in the store was working on drive through orders including the person serving us. If you dont want people in the store then say no indoor service! Further the coffee was burnt which is unusual. I dont think we will be going back to McDonalds anytime soon very poor customer service.

Heres the truth about this location. Probably some of the highest quality food amongst locations. Hot, fresh. The downside? Drive thru excruciatingly slow. Ill give it 4 vs 3 because the food was so good. Maybe thats why its so slow. Even with the wait, Ill stop again. Staff was also very pleasant under the pressure.Fast food, burgers, fries.

That’s ok, but a cheeseburger in Ukraine is prepared better.French fries were too salty.

Came here on a Monday @ 12 noon yeah it was busy however , one would think with all the workers standing around like a big social gathering it wouldn’t take 5 mins to place a order ? The people in the line in front of me were discussing every different type of tea that they can have . I was standing in line then a few groups of people came in behind me and started to order from the touch screen machines . So by the time I would get to order it would have been like 10 orders in front of me . So I left and went next door to A&W and had the best poutine and burger ever!!! I highly recommend over McDonald’s any day . I was going to a&W first but split second I decided McDonald’s. should have stuck with my instinct and went to a&w first :)................................................................

Well I am not impressed at all. I had to go back to correct my order twice. First was to get sweet and sour sauce for my sons happy meal, then I had to return the new Chinese limited time burger as it had 4 prices of dumplings on top and very little oncions on the bottom with a tiny bit of BBQ sauce. After I got a new burger, it had a little more on too very little sauce and little onions on the bottom. Should I try and get fooled a third time or just move on? Decided to move on as when i asked the sweet and sour sauce and a packet of Mc chicken sauce VERY NICELY, I didnt get really acknowledge and I was given 2 sweet and sour and then she turned around and walked away... So I waited to see if she was getting it and then she gave me a dirty look and continued.. so I asked a gentle man behind the counter Ter of which was really nice...... The only reason I gave 2 stars was because of the play ground. The main speaker in the play ground is blown so when ever their is bass in a song it sounds horrible. In the lobby there is 2 blown speaker o e of which is ripped giving a horrible scratch noise every beat. I know if I were to go back a third time Im just going to end up with spit or something in my burger due to the attitude and disrespectfulness I received. My original post was 4 stars but they have decided to show their true colors on a slow Saturday evening. Not impressed.
