2006-2008 Calle Loíza, San Juan, 00911, Puerto Rico, San Juan
Classic, long-running fast-food chain known for its burgers, fries & shakes.
Bad customer service and employees rude
I really like McDonalds but this has got to be at the top of the list of the worst ones. This is probably one of the basics they are very slow. And the other thing that drives me crazy about this McDonalds is something is always not working (Ice Machine, ice cream machine, credit card machine. And the list goes on and onbesides everything not working it seems like every time I order something they dont have it or they have to make it without one or more ingredient
More than half an hour waiting time
Only serving through drive thru, no counter service and dining room was closed.
Limited food and no iced coffee available.
They never have frappes as they never have ice.
Breakfast is good and the staff there are great
Sorry but...One of my worst experiences... dirty place dirty restrooms, extremely slow service, (Im saying over 25 minutes for order inside the diner). And key closed dinning at 4pm with customers still inside.Fire marshall should know this.(Not safe)
Sames as others. Why theyre not putting ketchup and salt unless asked?
Fast response and very professional.
Today I with a friend waited five minutes to be acknowledged by staff while the shift Manger mouthed and yelled at another employee wanting to punch break. Very unprofessional. Then why we were finally acknowledged people on staff didnt want to attend us because we were gringos, my friend and I have lived here 18 years and speak Spanish. Then once we paid for 22 dollars in food. My chicken sandwich had on pickle I simply went back and ask for a few more, staff was enraged. I in shock completely because for 15 to 20 more we could have eaten in a regular restaurant with service. With these prices and little to no service you would think a store would be more courteous. I guess not. Still a one star.
Worst personal ever!!! they were very rude and treat us very bad.
They closed the door at 7pm and didnt let me in. People were sitting inside. Drive through still working. Seemed like they just didnt want to work too hard and locked the door
The posted operating hours are a lie. Drive-thru only. The employees would not open the door or take my order as a walk-in. I knocked on the door and they just waived at me to go away.
Nice staff, great food. Fast food in Puerto Rico is different than in the continental US. Its better because it offers local foods, particularly in breakfast, and the coffee, despite it being good stateside, is better.👍🏼👍🏼
They didnt get my order right because I dont speak Spanish, but the food was good and fresh
Restrooms are disgusting. Food was mediocre and the workers are a joke. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Lobby doors locked. They pick and choose how hard they want to work, using the former Covid measures as their excuse. Two small children running around inside, presumably the offspring of one of the lazy managers. The drive thru was open but one of the managers parked their car in the lane prior to the order area, hoping to indicate to some that the place was closed, further reducing the workload and the clueless franchisees profits.
Pretty good close to home prices just right clean establishment
Horrible experience, was in drive through from 10:50pm, since it shows they close by midnight, they turn off their light before 1100 and stop serving people, they manager was so nasty about it when asked why they closed early.
Why did they cut the lights off while we are in line at the drivethru at 10:50 pm, if they suppose to close at 12am. This is completely unacceptable and the store manager needs to do something about this. There are employees inside, they let some ppl in the door nut to us doing signals that they will not serve us.
The most ridiculous prices ever! To start, No prices on the menu, wrong order, but the most stupid thing..no way to exit the drive through unless you go around almost one more time around the parking lot and following the other people that havent ordered yet. Who was the engineer that planned this atrocious mess? A single McChicken sandwich cost me near $5, usually they cost $1.29....seriously avoid at all cost this location unless you want to be robbed...one by the store and possibly by some tugs as this McDonalds is located in the ghetto..one wrong turn and you are done.
There was an issue with the drink dispenser when we visited, and I had to go in from the drive thru to get drinks, but otherwise an okay visit
ya lights are on people are there , computers are on and no one will open the door or answer the drive thru. to busy on their phones !
Very busy. Went inside tho get waited on . No one would wait on us. I had to ask to a meal for my wife and I.Fries were night none
I went yesterday at 6:55pm to get dinner for me and my family. I notice that the store has a maximum capacity of 66 persons but inside there was a group of kids with their relatives, like maybe 12 in total. If you add the employees to that count, maybe 20 persons in total. One thing is that the doors were closed. I looked into their business hours and they were still open. They didn’t ankowledged my presence until 10 minutes later. I had to get into my car and go try drive tru. When I asked for the managers name, the cashier became suspicious of why was I asking for that info. They didn’t provide me with a ticket for my order, and after talking our meals and eat them in the car, I saw how they were actually opening the store for other customers.I felt discriminated by their actions and I feel like I should not sponsor that location due to the discrimination I was treated with.Yesterday was 12/09/2021 and the time was 6:55pm.MacDonalds, you need leaders that understand that we are respectable customers and that we should all be treated equally.
Eating at this place will make you sick and fat, and itll drive up my insurance premiums to pay for your problems. Just dont do it. Thanks
Staff was rude and no patience for someone who doesnt speak Spanish. Basically threw my drinks and food on the counter. Asked for ketchup and only gave me two packets.
Its McDonalds with a Caribbean twist on their menu that was either once available in the States now a regular menu item here. If youre like me and youre craving every now and again, sausage McMuffin with egg breakfast sandwich - you wont find that here. Prices and portions are typical fast food, friendly staff, and clean. Be prepare just like majority of establishments on the island, to speak Spanish.
Awsome breakfast deals, friendly quick service too!Only problem is you must arrive early enough because they run out of breakfast early.
This establishment is 20 seconds away from our place so we wouldnt even think of coming here by car. Yet having a car seems to be a precondition for getting your lunch here, for takeout. The manager refused to talk to us and left, without offering a viable solution and without even listening to us. Will consider this experience for any future purchases from the chain.
Staff was unprofessional! Failed to mention no ice for drinks... open 24hrs and had very limited food. Had the nerve to blame us for the girl at the window having side conversations while taking our order and messed up my burger. Manage said it was our fault when we mentioned the fact the girl at the window was not listening. Peoole behind us were dealing with the same issues.
McDonald’s is the heaven of fries! Man the fries are great :The nuggies are always yummy however I found a bug in my Coca-Cola’s me love Coca Cola! Everyone knows McDonald’s just stop with the GMO’S - Grandma Ruby
Place shuts down on a whim. Today they had customers inside sitting. But said wouldnt take more.Closed for lack of staff multiple times and hasnt had ice in 3 weeks.
They closed at 10pm even though their hours said 11pm snd refused to accept an order at the drive through because I didn’t have a car. I’m pretty sure they did not want to deal with my broken spanish. Bad form.
Poor, poor customer service. We are tourists and came in and were yelled at about masks even though the employees were not wearing masks. So we complied and put on masks. They then locked the door to the rest of our party coming in because they didn’t have their masks out and on while walking on the sidewalk. A manager came and reprimanded my son, a minor, about his mask even though two other families were at tables without masks waiting for their food?!?!? After this treatment we headed towards the door to leave but we were locked in!! We had to ask to be let out to join our party who they locked out. Very disappointed in the racism we received as tourists!! What a disappointment from the great island of PR!!
They didnt have the MC muffin I ordered and didnt tell me and just gave me something else. It wasnt bad but common you didnt even tell me
Had no sandwiches after 12 noon, and no hash browns, never got a coffee stirrer. So I used a straw. Did not like the service.
Black Americans DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT!!! The lady was explicitly discriminating on black ppl only allowing Puerto Rican’s in to eat. It was obvious and yes I taped it so don’t get cute. Will never be back to Puerto Rico!
The staff forgot a few condiments but were friendly and swift! Check out the menu below!
Do not waist your time. They really do not care. Breakfast time is a joke. Go to a local spot and get breakfast there. The managers will not help you at all. What a disaster in the front counter. The drive thru is dangerous and the cops will ticket you. Inside all crowded in a line without safe distance. I let them know and they kick everyone out.
Terrible service, no one attended to me when I was first. They couldnt accept the fact they didnt take my order when I was waitting 15 minutes for my order to be taken because everyone in the drive through has theirs orders taken first then mine and it wouldnt stop the more people that came the longer they took to even get to me. I TOLD THEM I needed to be attended because I have been waitting and they wouldnt even take my order. No prodocall was followed for covid rules, no safe distance, they dont care. They tooked no tempature nor take precautions. Please dont come here the indoor service was terrible she ends up kicking people out to whom as waitting behind me because she was wrong.
This McDonalds NEVER opens at 6:30 am. It opens at whatever time they decide and its the only Mcdonalds in the area. I mean for people without car. I remember telling the person inside to change the hours on the door but they just didnt care. It is sad, and seriously frustrating. Maybe bcs is a franchise? and I guess they do what they want? Oh and I dont know if its a rule but there is no ice cream until lunch time. Meaning if you are craving a hot fudge Sunday after your breakfast you grout of luck.
They have new and exciting items on their menu, including strawberry cheese cake sundaes! No ice coffee though.
Dont bother with this place unless u are driving or calling in an order. Managers do whatever they want on their schedule. Sometimes they take walk ins sometimes they dont plus with a 7% rating from the health department I dont think I will be coming back to this MCdonalds.
Night crew lazy on the phones hours said open and 25 mins still to close and was told close and turn off the lights. I would have them one star or noneHowever I came in the morning staff it totally attentive, nice and clean. All my order was right. Temperature taken and sanitizer for everyone
McDonalds in PR and the states are TOTALLY different!! The customer service is AMAZING!!! You truly feel like youre wanted and are spoken to with such grace and welcoming!! Yes, they have SANDWICHES!!! And theyre literally better than your bagels and Angus beef and junk you get in the states!!! You want a good meat lovers sandwich like how your grandmom would make it, this is the place!! 👍👍
Thought Id try the Chori Sandwich. Was surprised how close it was to the ad picture.... Nailed it!
Overall, a good experience, not a huge fan of the "artificial flavors" of most of them, but theyre not bad either. My favorites are the ones with ice-cream (which almost defeats the purpose because i can get ice cream from somewhere else 😂)Also, last time I had a bad experience, I went to eat with my birthday boy, my son, and a couple of his friends, planned to buy some pizza, eat there but also buy in the restaurant, but was denied to do so. Oh well
Very slow service. Cashiers do not speak English and my McFlurry had stale cereal. I was excited when I found the restaurant but it was a disappointment
