Easygoing counter-service chain known for its sandwiches, stuffed baked potatoes & sweet tea.
This was the worst meal I have ever gotten from a McAlisters Deli. My Granddaughters fruit cup was mushy she didnt even get her correct meal. My baked potatoe tasted and looked like it was made yesterday. The sandwiches that were supposed to be hot were cold. I am very very disappointed. I could not go in to the restaurant because of my broke foot I called spoke with the manager on duty Jason or Justin i think. He told me they would remake it but i had to come get it even though I had the original order delivered. Had i been able to go in I would take all the nasty food back. Poor quality. Poor Customer service.
The food was great and the service was awesome..
Food is always so fresh an very appetizing, never eaten a meal we didnt love 😋
Well if you want to feel like your back in high school with the little cliques, than this is the place for you!! Ordered three sides to go of cucumber salad, waited over ten minutes still nothing. Finally someone walks over and asks what I ordered I told her and brings out one salad 🤔🤔!! I ended up getting my money back and leaving, you know whats sad is the manager was even part of the high school clique as well.
We visited from out of town. When we arrived back atOur hotel we received the wrong sandwich. The manager Jason drove to our hotel and with the correct order with additional chocolate chip cookies. This was going out of the way and will definitely visit again!!
Food is good, the Reuben sandwich was delicious
Plenty of seating, food is reasonably priced, and the food tastes fresh. The menu has a variety of options including: soups, sandwiches, wraps, a salad bar, a variety of teas, and much more. If you dont want to eat a burger and fries, then you might just find something you like on the menu at Jasons Deli. The workers dont skimp on your meals either. You get what you pay for. The restaurant also has a separate register if you want to get your food to go. There is also an ice cream machine with small cones towards the back right hand corner of the restaurant. And yes, the ice cream is free. It depends on what you order, but I typically dont spend more than $10 for my own meal. I usually order a main course, a side of fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, pineapple), and a cup for sweet tea.
We stopped eating at McAllister‘s a few years ago because of how nasty the place was, also the food was horrible. My daughter and I thought we would give it a try again. The manager was rude, whatever maybe he was having a bad day. Now I remember why we stopped going. I was a McAllister‘s fan when I lived in Ft.worth. Something about the one here in Wichita is in bad shape!! My daughter and I remember now how disgusting the place is and the food!
Never got to experience it, we went it thirty minutes before close and no one came to take out order. They made eye contact with us and no one came. In fact, we heard one employee tell the other you have customers and still no one came 😂. After a few minutes we decided to leave and as soon as we got in the car someone came.
The staff is always so friendly! And fast! Love coming here as a dasher and a customer! Good job yall!
Went here to have a sandwich and the girl at the front who took my order she was so nice and offered me things that I usually get offered when I go in there it was quite nice shes very very good at her job and sweet the food was good too
My wife and I mainly went to get me some potato soup, since I was not feeling well. I went in and said, could I get a menu to take to the car, everyone said no, didnt have, except one young handicap man named JOSH. He said he could make a copy of one for me. WOW, WHAT A GUY, HE NEED TO BE REWARDEDREWARDED
Great place for lunch or a light dinner. Great staff at this store.
Very friendly and knowledgeable person at the counter good options for gluten free everything was very yummy!
Love this place! Speedy service and great customer service. First time there and will definitely be a repeat customer. Portions were perfect and steamed broccoli side tasted straight out of the garden.
The monster club is a beast. Would make a great lunch for 2. My wife gets the French dip, I think its a little small for the price.
Always great! Super fresh, good sizes. And you cant beat 99¢ dine in kids meals that are fresh and yummy. I always get an unsweetened tea, perfect each time. Service is always good as well. The rewards program builds fast, so be sure and download it!
We had a great time while visiting my son at the Air Force base. Good food! OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND COURTESY EMPLOYEES!Thanks for making are day!
We were passing through and stopped here because we didnt want greasy fast food. We havent been to a McAlisters in a while and have never been to this location. The service was fine, employees were friendly and restaurant was clean. The food, however, was disappointing and not what I remembered. We had salads, soup and a wrap. Nothing tasted fresh and the soup tasted like like it came from a can. The biggest disappointment was the "limited time only" steak and gargonzola salad. The "steak" was just one long piece of meat that was so tough, we had to ask for a knife to even attempt to saw it and it simply couldnt be chewed. Overall, especially for the price, the meal was incredibly disappointing. We both said as we walked out that we wont ever be going back.
I cannot, not leave a review. When I say exceptional service, I mean exceptional service! I don’t know how I’ve lived 39 years, yet, never been to a McAlister’s in my life. My honey is 59 and he doesnt think hes been to one before either. But anyway, back to the reason why we are here. The tables are numbered so I figured it would be “cute” to sit at our house number. I was looking for table 217. Erik saw that I looked lost and offered to help and found the table for me.I sat down and took my first bite. Yep, deliciousness was confirmed. I was enjoying my delicious goodness Orange Cranberry Club when another team member stopped by my table and offered to go get me more water. You should have seen my face. You mean to tell me that I am not at a restaurant, yet you will go get more water for me? Sign me up! That team member, Kim, came back to check on me again. The back of her shirt said “Team Member of the Month”. And I see why.Wait… I didn’t tell you about when I first walked in. So let me tell you now. There’s a guy named Isiah on the cashier. He looks like a teddy bear and I’m pretty sure he could be a Colgate model with that million-dollar smile. I dont know if all McAlisters are like this, but I tell you what. Whoever is running that place is doing a phenomenal job and I think this should be the standard for all eateries. I don’t know why it took us so long but WE WILL BE BACK!
BLT+A, no A ☹ staff was curtious. Chalked it up to cashier not hearing me ask for avocado. Decent sandwich, could have used more bacon. The bacon that was on the sandwich was on perfectly cooked! The chicken tortilla soup was great, and the tortilla chips served with it were delicious and super fresh.
They are not bad, but not as good as they used to be. We ordered Baked Potatoes on our last visit and they were VERY small (like you get in a bag of Russets at the grocery store). They also were on the verge of being burned. The very middle was alright but the inner skin was black and the potato next to the skin was hard and inedible. Way too expensive for that kind of bad cooking.
Short staffed? Idk... Maybe just not efficiently managed. Order placed a little after 6 tonight, didnt leave until ten till 7 after waiting for a remake on a sandwich. Excuses made from counter clerk about not knowing how the food is made, manager doing what he can to get orders out faster, but hes already got a decent sized crew. Other orders coming out of the kitchen faster than my remake. If the crew got better motivation and direction, this place would be fire, even with their perceived short staff issue. Smaller establishments have been known to run better... I really dont understand that place at all.My recommendation: try Schlotzkys. Or Jimmy Johns. At least they wont keep you for an hour. For a sandwich.
i went to go have lunch with my wife. staff was so rude. the managers were rude. my food had a piece of a glove in it. my wife’s soup had a hair in it and we saw a family of 3 cockroaches by the bathroom. this place is not kept up well. all the staff is rude when i expressed my concerns and then they talked about me behind my back saying “if you don’t like it, don’t come here” this place has gone downhill.
The food here is great service and the staff is really nice and the food is delicious!
I would recommend for people to order through the McAlisters app or the website to ensure that you get everything that you order, assuming there is someone who actually checks over the order instead of leaving it to the customer to check it themselves. My mother and I ordered to-go inside the restaurant today, and we had a list of things that we wanted to order, including two desserts. To our dismay, although we got most of the food that we ordered, we did not get our two desserts even though they were on the receipt, and we did not bother going back to reorder them. It has been a while since we have eaten from this restaurant due to the pandemic, and we are still limited to ordering takeout because we do not feel safe dining in as it continues. Although the food here is amazing, my only criticism is about the employees who work inside the restaurant and are not paying enough attention to what they are supposed to be doing. Instead of preparing the food and giving the customer what they pay for (and we paid about $60 for our food), they make small-talk and giggle on when they should be making sure that people are getting everything that they order. Careless employees are the reason why businesses fail, and there should be someone supervising them to make sure that they are actually working. I really hope that next time will be better, because the food here is too good.
Ordered a chicken Caesar salad this is what I received . First time and last time
Its been awhile since wed eaten here because it wasnt great the times before. But this time the food was great and the staff was helpful and friendly!!! Great to be back!
Even though only one employee was on the order register, she maintained a positive attitude in the face of the extremely long line of customers. Kudos to her. Food was excellent as usual, and was delivered to our table not long after ordering. :)
This restaurant never fails. Very friendly staff and the food is always fresh. I recommend stopping for lunch or dinner. They also offer mobile orders and have a reward program.
Love their salads and sandwiches. Their potato salad is delicious! And the best sweet tea! My fave is the Arnold Palmer (half sweet tea and half lemonade).
Great place for a quick meal that is hot and made to order.
Great food... service was good... was.really impressed with the soup, I had the chicken tortilla soup, which is one of the best Ive had in a long while... the kids pizza plate sucked and tasted like bread and marinara sauce
Not sure if it was a bad day for the manager, but he seemed very inconvenienced when another customer asked about their order. He threw up his hands acted very annoyed. Our daughters order was wrong, and the cookie we ordered with the kids meal was smashed and crumbled. I was very disappointed with this order, and I’m probably not going back for a while.
Food was decent except for a cucumber skin tasting like pesticide and a little gnat in my soup. Overall nice place. Staff super awesome
I know it sounds dumb, but I didnt get a pickle with my sandwich. I ordered a Choose 2 with a sandwich and soup. Im not sure if it was because it was a to-go order or Choose 2, but i didnt get one. For me, the pickle with the sandwiches are the second best thing to yalls sweet tea.
Good food and great service. We were the first to use the "Table Side" order function on the McAlisters app at this store. Really easy process, and the Manager stopped by to ask how the ordering process went and how we liked our meal. We will definitely be back.
The food is great. Kind of annoying to have someone at your table every 2 to 3 min to ask if u need something esp when I am trying to have a conversation. I also feel like it is ridiculous that if I order tableside for kids meals I pay the take out 2.99 price but if I stand in line and order its 99¢. If it were for me it wouldnt be a big deal. But when you have 2 kids, the additional 4.00 is a bit much.
The food looked ok, but after the first bite everything went wrong. The bun was not fresh more like three days old the beef was chewy the best thing was the Mac & cheese. The wives italian sandwich was just as bad she just made it to the rest room in time to upchuck, then just before she got in our car same thing in the parking lot. Please save your money even subway would be better.
The food is fresh and the sandwiches are well made. The mac and cheese is great. The heath cookies are excellent. My only issues is the price for plate ratio. Its one sandwich cut into 4 squares. The wife and I went and ordered two sandwiches with a side and drink and a heath cookie and it was around 25$. A plus of this establishment is that they do offer military discounts.
Three of our four party ordered the French Dip. The sandwich and the au jus were inedible due to an extremely salty taste. When we informed the manager he said he never heard of that type of complaint. I added that even the sandwich was very salty and he told us they do nothing to the meat or sauce to make them salty...basically calling all of us liars. He never offered any type of recourse, refund or conciliation. To the point...he was rude.We will not return.
Was met at counter by Josh. He was the most personable , happy, friendliest cashier we have ever experienced. We asked him for recommendations on what to order, his suggestions were delicious!!! Food arrived fast and fresh. Drink were refilled and waitress was very on to of our needs. Our first time here was amazing. We WILL be back VERY SOON!!Thank you!
The food is okay but the customer service is lacking. Twice now I have placed an online order and there have been issues. The first was they were out of ingredients for a particular sandwich. Instead of calling to tell us as such, they just made a different sandwich and we did not even find out until we got the order home. On the second, I went to pickup the order and waited 15 minutes just to find the order had been declined, even though we received an order confirmation. We received no call or notification it had been declined, so I wasted my time just sitting there waiting on an order that was not even being made. There was no offer to make this right. This store is a joke.
I normally go to McAlisters Deli once a week with my coworkers for one vital reason. They offer an assortment of delicately crafted and affordable salads, sandwiches, and soups. The staff is always and willing offer a plethora of refills to their guests. The seating area is quite large for all the various party sizes and can be easily moved to accommodate large parties of six or more. I just adore how the color schemes match perfectly with their company logo. I will admit that their recent trend towards avocado filled sandwiches keeps me coming, especially their Southwest Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
I visited this location today on my lunch. I was greeted when I walked in the door by staff, everyone was nice. Received my order quickly. The food was good. Saw the manager that was on duty walking around greeting the customers sitting in the area I was in. He walked over to everyones table but mine. Actually he spoke to one table twice, mind you he walked past me 3 times and never said a word. If you are going to greet and check on your customers, check on ALL of them! Rudeness does not help any business.
Amazing hospitality! Our 1yo slept through dinner so my husband didnt get to eat his soup in a bread bowl. When we asked for a to go box they gave us a whole new bread bowl and container of soup so he could have a hot dinner in a non-squishy bread bowl when we got home. Amazing service and lovely people.
The food was good. The cashier didnt ask me if I wanted chicken on my Caesar salad, she just put it on there. Wasnt polite and didnt give me my receipt or even ask if I wanted one. Luckily, I normally go to the one in OKC and I love that one. I dont want to down vote McAlisters for a bad cashier, but I think manners are important.
Went in with a group of 30. Their service was excellent. Eric the manager took very good care of us.
This place is phenomenal! Im not a huge fan of the franchise, per se. I always find that the serving sizes arent up to my expectations. Despite this, the food here is always great and I was pleasantly surprised that the salads was as tasty as it was (although they skimped on the chicken). The staff is courteous, emphatic, and up-beat. Love their 10% of sales fundraisers as well.
First time eating at one of these chain stores and was surprised at the many choices including vegetarian fare. It reminded us of Panera Bread but with more options such as huge baked potatoes. The parking lot was packed around 12:45 on a Monday but there were still plenty of tables inside. They have a to-go pickup counter so Im guessing thats why the parking lot was full.My husband got the Smoky Pepper Jack Turkey sandwich with the vegetarian chili (the regular soup has pork and beef). He said it was quite good. I got the half spud (small baked potatowith broccoli and four-cheese sauce, and it was delicious. I also got the Chicken Tortilla soup and was disappointed. It barely had any chicken in it and no tortillas. It was more broth than anything else and a bit spicy.
