The bacon lettuce tomato and avocado sandwich is to die for. We love this one. There is So much Bacon. Wow!

I can only give a 3 star review because the young man working the register had more interest in playing with his phone than taking orders. I walked in behind two ladies, while we all stopped to look at the menu (they sat while looking), I was ready before them. When approaching the counter the young man takes no notice of me since he is too busy playing on his phone which he has sitting on the counter in front of the register. I must ask him "Excuse me, are you taking orders or playing on your phone?" before he looks up to realize I am standing directly in front of his register. This is something I personally find extremely rude as a customer. Other than this one young man my "to go" order was prepared quickly, correctly and was delicious. Major kudos to the efficiency of the kitchen staff! I was in the McAlisters on Lime Kiln Ln at 7:32pm on Sun 10/9/22.

Great fresh salads and hearty or light sandwiches. You cannot go wrong with whatever you’re in the mood for.

The store is clean, the staff is so friendly & professional. No wonder theyre always packed. If youre in the neighborhood, stop in & try the blackberry lemonade. This store has very helpful staff.Our order had a mistake & we didnt realize it until after the restaurant closed. They were very helpful & put us in touch with the GM, who looked up the receipt & made it right for us. He really went the extra mile.

Service was way too slow for 3 pm. Lunch rush was over and hardly a crowd, but I had to wait nearly 12 minutes for a choose 2 veggie spud with sandwich. Was starting my 3rd glass of sweet tea when they finally handed me my food to go.

I used to come to this location every time. I believe they have newer staff. Young kids that dont want to be there. Really takes away the experience.

McAllisters deli is a fine deli and the atmosphere is one of decadence and suavé fare. Stop in for a quick delicious work lunch or call ahead to save a bit of time, or order online and skip the line. No matter how you do, its a good meal and a great deal. 5 stars doesnt leave out marks for cleanliness, cheerfulness, and perhaps, a bit of bliss. Waist not much time, and it wont be, on this.

Nice staff and the food is very fresh, the menu has a good verity of things on it.Prices have gone up. This cost 37$ for 2 people, and Im not sure the tips on cc goto the staff or manager as I didnt see a tip jar for cash?

Been a regular here, usually get the jalapeno turkey crunch, which usually comes with a small baggy of chips to go on the sandwich. This last time I got a lone 4 chips in a cup, for a full sandwich 😂Called to complain and the guy said they were pre-portioned and thats how all customers received their chips, yet that was the first time I received my chips like that. I just cant believe someone made a conscious decision to send out 4 small chips to a customer.

Three of us enjoyed lunch here on 8/9/2021. They have a wide variety of menu offerings from salads and soups to sandwiches and all are freshly prepared. And unlike a lot of restaurants, this place seems to have a magic formula for retaining service-oriented employees without raising prices -- so far. Were becoming regulars here!

Busy location today, but this location is also arguably the best McAlisters location in Louisville KY. They do not skimp on servings and the quality is always fresh & flavorful.

Well, once again a disappointment with this location. Last time we ordered loaded potato bread bowl to go along with other items, we got home and no bread bowl. This time ordered sandwich with chips, plus additional items this time no chips. I might add both times cashier kept my receipts. Orders were over $30!! Sorry we won’t be back. This location has gone downhill. It’s time to close.

We love to eat at McAlisters and usually staff is great. But this visit was horrible. We took our parents and it took 20 min to get our food. People came in after us got served. We asked and young man got irritated we went to counter several times was told its coming. Still no food. We final asked for about 5th time and we were frustrated and our food came and he brought each of us a cookie big deal not. We still had to get up for refills etc . Very very disappointed . They had computer 💻 issues all day which is not my problem when everyone else was being served. Manager was not even concerned when he continually saw us at counter.

Every time I go get tea to bring home later in the day it is sour. Came straight home poured a glass and sour. And they will not ever replace it. You would think as much as it cost they would.

I had a BLT and potato salad which was fantastic Ill definitely go back got a good size menu to got to try some of them others

Food is decent. They allow inside dining with distancing between tables. They served my company cold coffee and it did take a awhile to get a fresh cup but they were pretty attentive for a place that doesnt do table service.

I ate there today. The person who brought the food had a shield on but no mask. He is literally breathing down upon all the food he is delivering. Another person came by to ask us how things were going. His mask was below his nose. What the heck?! Why such sketchy health precautions? I won’t go back. It’s ridiculous.

This McAllisters is a good place to eat. But here latent orders come out wrong. Managers need to pay more attention to what goes on in the kitchen.

Very disappointed...dinnertime and 15minute wait for potatoes.....bummer! The manager was working like crazy....support crew not so much. I will give it another try but wont rush into that particular location.

I gave one star, only because I dont know how to give zero or fewer stars. This was by far the most bizarre meal Ive ever been a part of. It started out with a normal order of food for two...followed by a 45 minute wait...culminating in our food having to be remade because it was never brought out to us, but shuffled around the restaurant ending up right where it started...cold, lonely, and slightly depressed...the final course was the highlight of the meal where I had the most unsettling one sided conversation with the manager of the establishment..."heres your food, Im so sorry." Im skipping a bit because there are parts here that couldnt be agreed upon, meaning or content wise...the end of the conversation was simply the manager saying, "...and I heard that they use their food as a toilet." That marked the end of our comped meal, and we decided to just be done. The sevice was bad, but if youre not really hungry, I feel like you could at least be entertained if you dined here.

My other experiences before this one was good, but today was a really disappointing experience. Today I had to wait 10 minutes on the phone just to take a Togo order which is fine because in my mind I thought they were busy. But when I walked in they were dead and only had one Togo order waiting which was my order. I was really excited to get my food though and go home, I got their country potato soup with no bacon and no green onions and extra cheese. When I got home there was onions and bacon on the soup and the main reason why I am upset is because I got my tonsils taken out recently and I can’t have solid food like the bacon and green onions. So I did take it out but half the soup is gone since I had to remove the onions and bacon. Otherwise soup was good. Hopefully when I go back it’s not messed up.

Great, fresh food. Huge baked potato with lean meat and the French dip sandwich are delicious. Place is always clean and the clear plastic glasses are a nice, unique take on quasi-fast food. Usually around $10 per meal and the deserts, cookies and other bakery items, are good too. A lot of bang for your buck.

Highly recommend "The Big Nasty". This is one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. The restaurant on Lime Kiln Ln. serves their sandwiches on fine China too.

Food was delicious. The Black Angus road beef club was excellent. The only thing that prevented a 5 star was half my sandwich was three layers while the other half had two. I got it to go so didnt ask. Was good all the same!

Service and food were great. I wouldve given you a 5 but, my wait was a little slower than usual today. Your friendly employees made the wait ok.

Had to change to 1 star. Ordered a veggie wrap no tomatoes. Spent most of my break in the store waiting for food. Got back, it had tomato. Couldnt eat it. Didnt have time to go back and have them fix it. Do not go here if you dont have the time to waste waiting for food to be made and then remade.

WORST customer service. A girl in the kitchen was incredibly rude to me because I was picking up my take out order ten minutes before they closed. Called it in plenty of time for them to make it and it was sitting there when I arrived. I was out the door before they closed. She didn’t even get the order correct. Will never visit this location again.

Family friendly restaurant that offers a childrens menu and salad bar. Variety of menu offer to satisfied every customer taste . Children & adults alike love the free soft icecream.
