Great food, great service, would come back again!
Great food and drink selectionSmaller plates so may be worth adding a side plate
Food is just sumptuous. We had the steak and the peppered calamari and both were amazing. The place is not cheap but that’s expected from a central London fine dining restaurant. Definite recommendation.
MoreNice place, food is pretty nice but nothing to shout home about. When being seated, unless there is a table reservation for a bigger party.. staff should seat you at a bigger table. The ones at the side of the restaurant are not good, cramped, bright lighting, and next to toilet hallway.Having over 3 empty 4 seater tables for the entirety, with a better setting out a dampener on the whole experience
MoreDelicious food; Love the Salad 👌🏻
Its OK they make it out to be some.exclusive place where they decide whether to let you in to the hotel bar or not when its full of posh people Ive had better atmosphere and gin elsewhere
MoreFood was amazing and the service was fast and efficient. Julia was very helpful.
The atmosphere was very good but food is in tiny potion. Staff is very professional. Good taste but not a wow to me.
MorePerfect breakfast, great service, the kitchen was really pretty and the atmosphere was amazed.
MoreA great ambience and, the most important, delicious food! We tried some Italian and Spanish tapas, all great taste!
MoreVery nice ambiance and interior design. But waited 15 minutes to get a drink and 15 minutes to get a bread when asked for it. Service slow comparing how small the place reall is.
MoreNice ambiance. Delicious food. Excellent service. Our waiter is an energetic n smiley Italian gentleman, even though he was busy but he made sure to serve us and everyone in a timely manner and very satisfying quality of service. Good restaurant for dinner with friends and beloved one.Food we ordered and all recommendable:Arancini £12Carpaccio £15 (highly recommended)Lobster & king prawn £20 (highly recommended)Spanish pot £20Lamb cutlet £30Wild mushroom risotto £18
MoreWent for afternoon tea. Delicious sandwiches (unlimited), tea, and tiramisu. However the scones and donuts were quite dry. It was also quite pricey for a bottle of water.
MoreWe went for the first time, and what a surprise. The flavours were just amazing. The arancini was so good that we ordered 3 portions as we couldn’t stop eating. The king prawns were just great. The sea bass nicely done. An amazing surprise with the lamb cutlets delivered in hot stone. Definitely worth visiting
MoreReally delicious international cuisine. Nice kick as well to some of the dishes.
Lovely restaurant in the heart of Mayfair with delicious food, great atmosphere and the staff were wonderful. So professional, helpful and friendly. Special mention to George, the assistant manager, and Elena, who were just outstanding in their service.I had the 3 course menu with signature cocktail and let myself be guided in my choices.Being a total novice in the cocktails deparment, i found the suggested signature cocktail yuzu osaka delicious and very refreshing. The starter duck salad was very good, the duck crispy and very tasty, with inspired dressing and the pomegranate seeds adding crunch and texture. The sea bass as a main was very well cooked and the little tomatoes delicious. I also ordered as extra a side of potato wedges called bravas. The garlic mayo or alioli was really good. Being picky it could have had a tad more texture but the taste was spot on.The chocolate fondant dessert was a fitting end to a delicious meal, with melting centre and delicious ice cream. In fact, we commented among the diners how good it was.As a bonus, they had in their wine list a Raymat which i dont often find and in my view is well underrated. All in all, a lovely restaurant, witth delicious food and great service well worth a visit.
MoreGreat food, lovely flavour and lovely hospitality. Kenneth, our waiter was so attentive and worked really hard to make sure we had a fantastic evening. Id come back just to have him look after is again. Best dishes were sea Bass fillet, arancini and Gambas Al pil pil. We will be coming back again :)
MoreHad a fantastic afternoon tea, food was delicious, staff was super attentive and even though its a posh place we didnt feel out of place.
MoreExtremely chocolaty afternoon tea at this trendy Mayfair location consisting of donuts, sandwiches, scones and more!
MoreOn the Saturday 9th April I booked a table for two for the 15th April. On the following Monday the 11th April I called the restaurant with a request, to be informed that they don’t do afternoon tea on Fridays, I told them I had made a reservation through their booking site Open Table with a confirmation email only to be informed the site was wrong and they had had other customers complain. They were very off hand and no apology was forthcoming. It was lucky I called as I would have arrived to find no reservation (very embarrassing)On the same day I sent an email complaining and I’m still waiting for reply.I am extremely unhappy with their customer service which seems to be nonexistent.
MoreNice venue and an okay customer service, but the food wasnt great for how much it cost! the Cocktails at Revolution are so much better!£16 for a mini cocktail. I had to leave the drink after having a quarter of it because there was so much bits, it wasnt pleasant. My starter and main was a disaster, the potatoes werent done properly and felt sick after having the Alfredo. Wouldnt recommend this place, its too over price for what you get.
MoreDelicious food, outstanding service and wonderful atmosphere. Coming back soon
A lovely afternoon tea experience: the staff was very attentive and ensured we always had a drink throughout the afternoon tea (and even when waiting for a friend). Simple menu of tea & coffee options but amply enough for us, we ended up having a hot chocolate, then hibiscus & rose tea, sencha and mint tea. A super sweet surprise at the end was served to the birthday girl, truly an unexpected addition to a great time! The sandwiches were very tasty, the scones so finger-licking delicious that we were considering asking for an extra plate until we realised we barely had room for the desserts - and it would have been a terrible crime to have passed on those, not to mention the chocolate truffles <3So we left the hotels restaurant with our skirts feeling a bit tight but with a huge smile on our faces!
MoreMy partner and I ordered the carpaccio, risotto and chicken Alfredo which were absolutely delicious. Portions were just right and we thought flavours were spot on.We also had the tiramisu for dessert which was a bit different in a good way.Our server was Eros and he was absolutely the best! He made our dinner more enjoyable from helping us take great photos to even surprising us with a little birthday treat. His service was top notch. We were fortunate to have had such an experience.
MoreExcellent arancini and other Mediterranean dishes. Very polite staff and warm decor and background music. My only criticism is that the prawns with piri piri disappointed.
MoreThe carpaccio, calamari and the tuna taco (misleading title since it’s basically 4 tortillaswere actually pretty good. The roasted chicken skewers, however, tasted quite “basic” (despite their tenderness), and the same goes for the risotto. We were told the quantities of the mains would be pretty small, but could barely get through the Spanish clay pot because the carbs filled us up in a few bites, thus quite a lot went to waste.Overall, I was expecting things to taste at least a bit out of the ordinary for the price, but it really didn’t for half of the food items. Most of it was basic and I’d recommend walking 5 minutes in any direction and eating in an actual Spanish or Italian or Japanese restaurant.PS: the ambience of the Mayfair bar seemed a lot better than that of the Mayfair kitchen, thus I’d recommend drinking at the bar instead.
MoreTable for two: we ordered 4 starters and two main with two glasses of wine. The food was really good and the service was impeccable, sadly the place is overly expensive, 17 pound for a glass of Chardonnay that Ive never seen anywhere else was shocking. Also coffee that we didnt order: 5,25 pounds??? Its a shame, but we wont be coming again.
MoreA great variety of global creative dishes and perfect service. The lobster and aubergine dishes were the best
MoreThe service and food here is probably one of the best in London. Renée took excellent care of us and gave us the best food recommendations and unmatched service. Food and ambiance were both excellent. Definitely check out the terrace seating area.
MoreVery decent high end restaurant. Staff were polite, courteous and friendly. Prices were decent and the food was scrumptious. They also have an outside and rooftop eating area. Parking can be a bit tricky dueto the restaurants location so I would recommend parking up and walking. Must try if in London. You wont be disappointed.
MoreFood was lovely and the staff were amazing.
I came in with a group of friends.Lovely atmosphere and really attentive and friendly staff. The passion fruit martini was lovely and just right. The only let down was the vegan menu which is very very basic and hardly any options to choose from. The courgette pasta was OK tho a bit too salty and I couldnt choose a dessert as the only option was the sorbet.
MoreGreat food, great service. This out door space is amazing, private and most importantly very warm and the glass roof keeps you safe from rain. Its all Covid safe. I have eaten here a few time post lockdown and it is great, highly recommended. Just make sure you book as it can be busy.
MoreVerdict - would return: an eclectic menu with flavours serving everyoneLiked - oven baked lobster & king prawn,Disliked - cevicheOther comments - well heated terrace and quick service
MoreEnjoyed the vibe and food. Lovely contemporary way to present European food.
Just enjoyed the Charbonnel et Walker afternoon tea with my husband and 6 year old daughter. Staff very friendly, kind and accommodating.Great value. Nothing too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend.
MoreNice place. Friendly staff. Loved the food 🥰
Great afternoon tea experience that is reasonably priced. The tea selection was great and the food was very good.
MoreAFTERNOON TEA!!!!Me, my mum and sister came here for afternoon tea, and it was absolutely AMAZING!! Perfect Girls day out, the staff were lovely and the food was good too! The only thing I would say is that there could have been a better selection on sandwiches but other than that everything was great the desserts were amazing, perfect day out! lovely venue.. well you can hardly go wrong at the Mayfair Hotel.. 😁❤️🥂
MoreFlagship kitchen in the heart of Mayfair. From the moment you step into Mayfair kitchen your experience is most pleasurable. The welcome and atmosphere has the perfect business buzz. Whether a lunch or get together you will not be disappointed . The mix of dishes , were delicious. The flavours and presentation of each dish perfectly described by the team . Accompanied by a glass of Gavi di Gavi , wow . It certainly made mid week meetings more interesting. Lunch dinner whatever your pleasure . Highly recommended venue in Mayfair .
MoreI went on a Friday night with two friends and the restaurant was beautiful but not very many people. There was a DJ however, so I felt there was an effort to create ambiance. The menu is a series of categorized tapas; Italian, Spanish, Mediterranean, Japanese, Peruvian (and maybe something else). I found there lacked veggie and salad options and it seemed a bit odd to me to mix such a vide array of flavours amongst tapas. I ordered the gambas al pil (chilli shrimp in oiland the pecorino truffle tortellini. The shrimp were slightly overcooked in my opinion, but nice and the tortellini was good and clearly homemade. Glasses of wine ranged from 11-19£. My friends and I weren’t blown away but we thought it was good. The service was nice. There was also a strong scent of a typical bathroom cleaning product (or fresheneremanating into the restaurant that disturbed me.
MoreFood, decor, service here are such a delight. My new favorite restaurant in London.
MoreOne of the most flavorful meals Ive had in London. The lobster prawn dish served in the shell is not to be missed.
MoreFood was hit and miss and not because it was bad but a unusual mixture of flavours and tastes different parts of the world put together. Example a pizza but it had a very sticky sweet topping, didnt like as was overly sweet and chewy. But some other things on the menu were good, you literally have to try and find something you like. I wouldnt rate as a place to recommend to go out and try. Giving 4 star based on location and service. But otherwise its not really worth a visit.
MoreStayed at the hotel and had a few really nice buffet continental breakfasts in the kitchen. Good service, great croissants and smoked salmon, decent coffee. Note I did order from the menu once (pictured), unfortunately I cant recommend the eggs benny... They taste like they were drowned in truffles, so much so that I couldnt taste the eggs, hollandaise, coffee or my lunch & dinner later that day, just truffle
MoreThis place is amazing ! The atmosphere, the staff and of course the food. Had the best time at breakfast with Janos looking after us and making sure we made the most out of it. Can’t wait to be staying at the hotel again mostly for the breakfast experience !
MoreGreat selection of food. I went with a group of friends with a set menu. This based on a sharing concept. 1 dish between two people - so plenty of food for everyone.
MoreThe all inclusive breakfast went down a treat, the hot buffet was definatley hot and not warm like most buffets, it was nice to see the staff constantly walking around checking on the standards of food, cleaning around and preparing fresh food non-stop. Excellent selection of foods and whatever they dont have you can always request (omelettes, pancakesfor example. Highly recommend.
More1st class service, very attentive team. Beautiful place in the heart of Mayfair. Quite original tapas format for a nice pick and choose dishes. Loved the food and they have an excellent wine card
MoreVery nice lounge to relax, can order drinks and food. Lounge is outdoors however with the three gas fireplaces and overhead heating did not feel cold at all. Ordered a 500ml red wine with a cigar. Minimum spend is £25 per person which isnt that bad considering you feel like youre inside and smoking inside is illegal. Would recommend!
