Local shopping center with casual dining, banking, coffee, hardware, apparel & office supplies.
I ate at Fernandos Mexican Restaurant. It was amazing! I ate the wet burrito and it was delicious and filling. I was surprised that a hole in the wall restaurante made such awesome food. I will go back most definitely.
Went to Food land. Friendlies staff.
Food court is ok there. Part of the marketplace is empty so that makes parking good. Lots of space. There is a statbucks, Jollibee chicken place. Close from the airport on a main street.
Very nice close to the airport
The food was pretty good.
Not a lot of shops. Looks sad and gloomy.
Lots of closed stores. The Barnes & Noble doesnt have restrooms. You have to go to the Food Court.
Nice place but kinda empty now without sports authority. Food court is still good
Out of stock, go to TJ Maxx
Went to the food court to pick up some dinner after work, they have multiple places to eat there
Beautiful outlet nice and clean area to shop. Lots of option to shop.
They have a food court there some shops and other businesses.
The parking is usually spacious in finding. Seems safe with security roaming patrol. Always visible to the patrons. Limited stores available Office Max, The financial institution and eating restaurants available drive through coffee barista.
I have been coming here since I was a kid. The only problem is there isnt too much going on. I wish the Barnes and Noble was bigger. I also wish that there were more stores. I miss Boarders and sports Authority, but those are from the old days. The food court is still my favorite!!
I usually visit the food court for take out.Ba-le and Fernandos.
Wonderful shopping place to go shopping like 🤪 crazy . lol
Nothing much to say,, the place looked pretty empty. But we found Starbucks and that’s all we needed.
Only OfficeMax in town. So by default they get 5 stars
Went to Barnes & Noble staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Wish Lahaina store didnt have to close.
Looks like a ghost town but Barnes and Noble and office max are doing well. The food court has public bathrooms.
Craving for Jolibee again! Im so glad they let us order via online and picked up inside. Our truck always smashed the rim on their small curve drive thru.
Ordered dinner at Fernandos Mexican Restaurant...the portions were VERY large & it tasted VERY good!
Like any older mall that is suffering from the loss of tenants to newer developments, this place used to be great! It began several years ago with the loss of an anchor tenant called Sports Authority. Maybe they could have done better by making Maui Market place a real market place in that space that Sports Authority used to occupy? And having a Lowes there was also great but they lost that too. Have use for office Max and Old Navy surprisingly is still hanging in there. The food court is limited by its occupancy due to Covid but still surviving. Losing Pier One and also the Starbucks made the Marketplace a destination only based on need, and not a retail place you would want to go and visit.
Wish more stores were open but there is potential. Also if you are in the food court and reading this please have more vegan options
Nice place to go when people cant decide on what to eat. I got Mexican to my girlfriend got korean. And her daughter got vietnamese. Everybody was Happy clean place easy parking, will go back.
The previous stores, as in the case of maby others, are moving away or had moved away from the island, there are great opportunities for others. And the remaining stores e.g. Jollibee, Old Navy, Office Max, just to name a few still exist. And I like the swap meet happening right on the parking lot every Saturday... showcasing local talents.
The Office Max store here is a great resource if youre traveling and need access to a printer. Use the self service and its really cheap to print out emails, etc.
An overpriced convenience market hoping tourists will pay for overpriced items so they dont have to go too far away from their Wailea rental. Not impressed.
Has Office Max and Barnes and Noble! Oh, and a great food court! What more does a person need?
Old Navy is a great place to shop lots of bargains and one of the few stores that give Military discount everyday 10% with an Military ID.
Really bummed that many of the retailers left to set up shop at a different location.Starbucks relocated on the same property to a different bldg was great idea. I hope they have plans to have retailers get back in the empty shops
Kau Kau Food Court is one of our lunch destinations for take outs. I particularly like L&L and their selection of local foods!Theres also Fernandos, Ba-Le (Vietnamese), and Pearls Korean BBQ. These fast foods eateries have been available all these months and I am grateful. Its the variety of delicious foods that makes me return here.
Its so sad. This area once was thriving. The rent here must be absurd. Once was a bookstore I loved going to. Once was a sports good store I liked shopping at. Recently Open a Jollibee s and a Starbucks. We go to Kaukau Corner still. Because of the Food! L&Ls, Fernandos, BaLes and my Fav...Pearls👍💛
This used to be a thriving strip mall with many stores for most needs. The butchers are gone, as are the sporting goods and hardware stores. Many empty storefronts here. The Kau May corner eatery is weak, with decent Mexican and Vietnamese, but the Hawaiian Asian is horrid. The good barbecue is long gone. Maui is really hurting for good shopping, this ghost town Mall is indicative.
Ive been coming here all my life and its changed quite a bit but its still a great place despite the fact that its got a couple empty stores that have no one renting them
The workers there were kinda slow, maybe because I it was kinda hard to get someone to help. I also Helped them, haha, by straightening up their Shelves and Racks, because by the way that the Store looked, they must of just had a Big Rush or something.
Mall is in transition. Some store moving out but it looks like some new stores may come.Staples, Old Navy still have what you need.
This Mall is quiet but I love the food court, it gives a homley feel and I love the mexican resturant.. the shrimp fajitas are delic(aka)delicious! Also you can grab a coffe at Steezie(aka)Starbucks and stop in at the bookstore. Dont forget if you need some of you basics you may have forgotten at home Old Navy is right there! Happy Shopping!
Shopping area is starting to slow down since Lowes and the Sports Authority store bailed out, StarBucks and a real good food court at far end of the lot,PetCo stayed for now??? Clean area good location
Wow! Theres nothing here. Sports Authority and Lowes both closed years ago and they still havent filled those locations. Other than Old Navy this mall has nothing.
I go for the Barnes and Noble, food court, or takeout for coffee. Theres tons of free parking, has a bus stop, and is close to the airport. Taking a left turn out its hard because its double lanes both directions and extremely busy. Take the light by Burger King. Itll be faster.
The Maui Marketplace does need more businesses to accommodate residents, but companies whose prices are reasonable and not so expensive. They do have a tasty selection in the food court. Bring your appetite!
m always so sad to see shopping centers empty and really this ones trying to keep things and we have a new Barnes & Noble of course Office Depot Pier One and the food court the frame shop...old navy. Sally Beauty Starbucks Subway Jamba Juice Burger King...Hopefully they will all stay there.
This is a best kept secret for good food, reasonable prices, variety, usually not crowded, clean facilities. Plenty of parking. Close to the airport. My favorite eppingthtddish is the cold ginger chicken served at L& L, generous portions piled with the green onion-ginger topping, jumbo fried shrimp 6 pcs- 3 1/2", chinese noodles. Stacked full in to go container cost around $10.
Many food choices including Mexican, L&L BBQ and Vietnamese. Boba, Tapioca and limited cold stone flavors for dessert. Restrooms available. Good for families or groups.
We didnt know where to shop our first time to Lahaina. So we took a chance and were able to get everything we needed each time we were there. The prices were reasonable even great because our Canadian prices are more. I would recommend any shopping you need done, this is your place.
Its a ghost town. Maybe 4 shops left open in the anchor building. Theres a burger shop and a sandwich shop but not much else. Photo used to be a major home improvement center.
Love the views from here. Plenty of stores to pack your interest and loads of parking.
Theres a food court with a real good Vietnamese Soup Shop. And the Mexican Restaurant next to the Vietnamese Soup Shop, seems real good, too. Theres a Verizon Wireless Store there. Lowes Home Improvement moved out of the shopping center. Burger King is there. A coffee shop, too. I go to the Subway Sandwich Shop there.
I can grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks and do some shopping. I also take the family to eat at kaukau corner, we can all get something different at each of the restaurants there. Easy parking and clean.
