Nice memorial.
Sweet place.Stop if you can.
a nice place to visit moments from Digby
Worth a quick stop
While visiting Digby NS, I had the opportunity to visit the memorial Park and location of where Maud Lewis lived 30yrs of her life, near by the is also a replica of the house and worth visiting. Recommended to cisit
MoreNice place, love the history. Visited end of a tough winter. She trees were down. But I expect it will be back in shape in the spring.
MoreIts an interesting site to visit
Such a small house ... love the artistry involved in this building
A fine tribute to Maude.
Cool place to visit
Just a steel building
Bravo. Nice demo
Any spot on this planet celebrating an Artists work is a wonderful place to visit, explore and grow.
MoreVery interesting. Love the representation
Small memorial park on the side of the 101 highway. Easy to miss so watch for the sign. Some pedestals with information on Maud Lewis and a memorial structure where her home once was. Small but lovely site to stop for a rest and take a few minutes to putter around.
MoreMoving
MoreBeautiful memorial spot. Gardens are kept up nicely.
This park is a nice tribute to Maud Lewis, but I have to admit, it was a little disappointing to see such an abstract art version of her house in the pace where it used to be. I liked the information boards and the picnic park itself was very nice, for a tiny park.
MoreAnyone passing by should stop and see this little house. Her art is simple and wonderful. Her original house is still standing, and interesting look back at how people live. In my pictures I did not take one of her house.
MoreAwesome gallery, well worth a visit if you like art at its very best stripped back.
MoreGreat stop on the drive from Digby down to the South Shore! Wonderful history in our home province.
MoreFloral and quiet but memorable allowing reflection.
