Great Park. It would do better with tour guides. Only saw kudus, zebra, giraffe and monkeys. Im sure we could have seen more if we had a tour guide or someone to explain where to look

Not as many animals as Hwange or some other parks, but the scenery and magnificent views cant be beaten anywhere in the world. The view from the top of the world rock will literally take your breath away. There are plentiful cave paintings, and some of the pathways to find them are an adventure in themselves. This park also isnt very crowded so you can feel truly alone and at one with nature. I have been all over Africa and to over 70 nations and I have never seen anything like the hanging rocks of Matopos. If you go to Zimbabwe dont miss this park.

I feel they could have added mini maps for tourists as there is no network in the park whatsoever. In the long term They should also put network busters in the park so that there is network in the park to avoid any complications

Great tourist resort. The park is managed by the Zimbabwe National Parks. It is home to the legendary mystical Njelele shrine. Many a wars have been fought and settled on these hills, the most prominent being Ihloka elibomvu war.The place has many historic caves with cave paintings recording thousands of years of history. There are balancing rocks which to defy the laws of gravity among them the awe inspiring child and mother rock, which seems to be shape of a mother carrying her child on her back. If you are lucky you will be able to see the much protected rhinoceros and other animals that call this place home. Of course you have to visit the world view a place where the grave of Cecil John Rhodes is found. From that vantage point you can see the Matopos sprawled majestically below you as if begging you to decipher its mysteries.

Matobo National Park in my opinion is the most serene of all the game parks found in Zimbabwe. The rocky terrain induces an unexplainable sense of euphoria

The granite formations are some of the most beautiful in the world, differently worth a stop. You will see some white rhino and if you go with a company that specializes in rhino tracking you can see some black rhino.

Good fun for some rock rambling. Saw some good wildlife. Good rhinos. Hope they keep up the anti poaching on the smaller game as they are scarce and when seen are very skittish. Also too many cattle walking through. But definately one of my favorite places.

Absolutely great park but around every corner someone is sitting there to charge you. Being a foreigner, expect to be charged a hefty amount compared to locals. Also, it may be really hard to actually see any animals so go with that in mind.

Its always one of my favourite places to visit in Zimbabwe, along with the amazing views and the tranquillity of the Bush, its also where Cecil John Rhodes is buried. So if you are passing through and you have a night or 2 stop in and soak up all this little jewel of a place has to offer.

Unmissable. If you travel through Zimbabwe, and think about missing Matobo N.P. then you are doing it wrong. This was one of the highlights of my time in Africa.I went to see Rhino on foot, but I left with so much more. I cannot put into words how much this beautiful national park changed my perception of Agrica, its plight, and its potential. The guides brought this history of this park to life. The scenery is a landscape photographers dream. Walking with the Rhino was mindblowing. And the cave paintings and heritage evoked an awakening in everyone who witnessed them. This beautiful park, its staff, and its community, is be one of the many reasons Zimbabwe will get back on its feet in the future.

Had the absolute best time here with my family after Christmas 2017. However, a warning - DO NOT SWIM IN ANY DAMS OR LAKES. A friends partner who was staying just a few cottages down from us was attacked by a crocodile a few days after we left. They are not safe to swim in, no matter what anyone says/you might think. Please be careful out there!

Unique corner of the earth. Combination of spectacular natural landscapes, wildlife and ancient rock and cave paintings make Matopos an unforgettable visit. We only had a half day, but managed to fit in all of the above and saw a family of rhino up close, having tracked them on foot. Highly recommended a guided visit organised through the Bulawayo Publicity Bureau.

Matobo National Park is a very historic place that is where Cecil John Rhodes was buried it is a very historic place thats where Starr Jamison was also buried it is a good place for foreign people because they can bring their foreign currency it is a very and I mean very historic place their services are good but what I dont like is you have to pay at the gate and then pay again when you going to Cecil John Rhodes graves the only reason I gave it 5 stars is because its a storage place a fun place to bring your children at like for school trips

Great historical place. Cecil John Rhodes grave is at this location with splendid views of the surroundings. There are rock paintings from the late stone age and lots of caves in the area. Nice getaway with the family, about 44km from Bulawayo and entrance into the park is $4/person and $3/vehicle. There is also a market within and to climb the mountain to Rhodes grave, an additional fee has to be paid at a booth at the foot of the mountain.
