Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls in Great Falls

Honestly the lobster roll is super delicious - fresh juicy lobster and a buttery roll. The Mac and cheese is also really delicious. My only complaint is that it’s pretty pricy for the size (the roll is maybe a 5 bite sandwich). I was craving a lobster roll though, and it mostly filled that craving.

I did enjoy their rolls! The lobster pieces are huge so you dont feel like youve been denied what you are looking for, unlike some places. Their soda choice is iconic (I vote blueberry! LOL!!Although I LOVED how sassafras flavored their root beer is, its all just too sweet for me.Had their clam chowder soup and struggled between it and the bisque. I was happy with my choice but would LOVE to try their bisque next time!!Great area to shop, hang out and enjoy some treats!

DELICIOUS!!! Lobster was dressed perfectly to let it shine! So good! Lobster Mac n cheese was also tasty with plenty of lobster meat. Will definitely be back to treat myself again. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Conveniently located in Reston Town Center, with plenty of nearby garage parking.

Great prices on daily specials, delicious lobster roll and lobster Mac, friendly and fast service. I will be back!

Being front Maine, Im picky about my lobster rolls and I was pleasantly surprised with how good the Classic Lobster Roll. Would highly recommend Masons to get your lobster roll fix until you make it to New England. Oh and thr lobster bisque was really good as well.

The food is good although it is expensive. also. have a less than stellar performance with ordering online. We are told it would be ready, when I got there. they just started someone elses order who walked in, but my order was supposed to have been ready as it been 15 minutes and was promised in 10. they hadnt started to make the order. when I arrived. I asked him where it was and they looked and saw that it was still on the machine and had not been started. staff was fine, but it was disappointing that I had to wait another 10 minutes for the food.

Came here for dinner and the two of us spent $20 each easily and was still a little hungry after. Quality is high but so is the price

Pretty good but charging extra for lobster in a lobster bisque is like charging extra for beef in a beef taco.

Get the soup, dont get the rolls. Lobster is chewy and roll is dripping with butter. 3 bite dinner, you will leave hungry for $22 down the drain.

I did carryout and the restaurant was nice and clean when I did my pickup. The lobster and shrimp rolls are excellent. The lobster bisque however was a bit pasty and only had a couple of small pieces of meat, even after ordering extra meat. I would not order the bisque again, but I will be back for more lobster and shrimp rolls. 🦞😋🦐

Had a great experience here at Masons. My friends and I decided to try Masons for dinner because who doesnt love a good lobster roll? Even though we ordered our meals for takeout, our experience was great. The staff were welcoming and got our orders out quickly.I had the the $25 combo that they offered. It comes with a lobster roll of your choice, a side and a drink. I chose the Connecticut Roll and a Lobster Bisque. The roll was warm and I had a good amount of lobster as well. The lobster bisque was good and flavorful.Overall, Id recommend giving this place a try if you are looking for lobster rolls!

Lobster rolls were ok. Not much to brag about. We got the CT roll and the classic roll. I’d prefer the classic over the CT roll. The bread got soggy on the CT roll bc of the butter. The lobster mac was just regular mac and cheese with lobster and bread crumbs on top. My aunt had the gumbo and said it’s nothing she would order again. We also had the Clam chowder which was the star of the meal😋

The Connecticut roll tasted really good but I wish it had been warmer. Way too small for the $20 price. The $5 clam chowder was worth it. Ive never had chowder with that much clam in it. The inside of the restaurant is much smaller than I expected. There was still room to sit but maybe only 4-5 tables.

The lobster rolls are pretty tasty. The lobster is very fresh and the rolls are buttery. While the rolls are delicious, I was able to finish this in nearly three bites. So it’s not that filling. For the price of this I wish this would have been bigger. So overall if you are really craving a lobster roll, give this place a try but don’t be surprised if you walk out of there still feeling hungry

Ive had a few Lobster Rolls in my day and let me say this is probably one of...if not the best Lobster Rolls Ive ever had. Full of flavor, fresh, amazing tasting lobster.

Great place to get your lobster roll fix if youre from out of town. Food was cooked to perfection. Buns were toasty, and staff was very helpful and delightful.

good lobster but very overpriced for a little bit of meat in between hotdog buns you can buy at walmart. In the pictures the lobster roll looks decently sized but when you order the serving portion is very puny for $20 a roll. Do not recommend.

Had the Connecticut lobster roll. It was delicious but the portion was tiny. For the price I was expecting more food, but apart from the size it was very good.

The owner and people working there were very pleasant and kind. Food wise, the lobster roll was nice but the lobster bisque was a bit too watery for my taste and a bit bland. Definitely a place to try out!

Great lobster rolls, whoopie pies and Maine soda! Source: my wife is from Maine and proclaimed it all great. Lobster rolls have the split-top bun and lots of meat. Try the BLT lobster roll! Also, for anyone wondering they use mayonnaise (think Helmanns-styleand not "salad dressing" style mayo like Miracle Whip. Dont like mayo? The have a roll where the lobster is just drizzled in... butter! mmmmm..... Whoopie pies are rich and were nice and moist, not dry; filling was tasty and not too sweet. will be back!

I was not sure what to expect, but this place was surprisingly good! I recommend getting one of the specials. I ordered a special that came with a roll and a cup of soup for only a few dollars more than the roll by itself. The lobster roll was excellent and tasted very fresh. The clam chowder was good as well.

Delicious!! I ordered the Connecticut Lobster Roll and it was spilling over with lobster meat on a warm buttery bun. Not a fan of the lobster mac n cheese. But that Lobster Roll is so yummy!

The food here is delicious and the service is great. Try the Bar harbor its a whole lobster on toasted bun. The New England clam chowder is yummy too! It doesnt come with the pepper on top. I added it.

Lobster rolls are very average and do not taste fresh. Definitely not worth almost $17 for one small roll. Dont think I will order from them again.

Probably the best lobster rolls in the area. The lobster has a little more flavor then other local places. Some pieces of tail were overcooked and chewy though. Lobster bisque was pretty good but not as good as from Great American Restaraunts.

Oh man, Lobster Rolls at this place are awesome. Great taste, Great location, Great customer service at a bit pricey cost. Well worth it though... it’s LOBSTER. Good for the whole family. I strongly suggest. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Delicious fresh lobster meat in every item!We accidentally ordered the salad roll and when we told the staff, the owner came out and told us to keep the salad roll and brought a CT roll. Great customer service and such a friendly staff. Will be back regularly!

Lobster roll was ok, my mistake was ordering the wrong one, that was my bad. Meat was good tho."Shrimp gumbo" was likely vegetable soup from a can. Most disappointed about this item.Lobster bisque was a C+/B-. Edible but Ive had gotten better bisque frozen from the grocery store.Lobster grilled cheese - exactly as described, but those ingredients definitely dont mix well. Gave it a shot.Overall, prices are high, portions are small and the flavors left me wishing Id gone somewhere else. No complaints about service.

The lobster roll was delicious, had a good amount of lobster and delicious flavor. Unfortunately, the lobster bisque was lacking in flavor and texture. Basically just cream with a little lobster flavor. If just getting lobster rolls- highly recommend, however, don’t waste your money on the bisque.

If you like lobster rolls, you will love this place. Everything is lobster 🦞 and delicious. Its not a huge menu but its definitely more styles of lobster rolls than I could think of. It wasnt pricey for lobster and its a meal you can have any time of day

So fast, so delicious! Could eat these all day and night. Id be broke though. Thankful to Masons for making lobster rolls reachable by the average person. They are fair trade and certified sustainable farming. And the choices, Mac and Cheese, soups, pickles and other choices. Well worth every penny.

I finally got a chance to visit this place in Reston town center. Tried their lobster Connecticut roll which I found to be a little pricey for the quantity, the taste was pretty decent. I liked their clam chowder soup better than the lobster bisque. Overall I felt it was a little on the pricey end, it would be better if there would be a side or two along with the lobster roll. If you’re really craving for a lobster this would be a place to visit.

Nice little lobster place tucked away on a side street in Reston Town Center. The fellow behind the counter (assuming he’s the owner?was incredibly helpful and pleasant. My Connecticut roll (his suggestionwas very tasty. Just a bit cramped inside, but otherwise a nice experience.

I had the Connecticut Roll and it was a bit lackluster. The bread/bun is excellent, but the lobster was a bit chewy and had a very slight fishiness taste. I also had the Lobster Mac and Cheese which was tasty, but again the lobster itself in the dish was not great. I finished both items, but the experience was less than inspiring. The staff was very friendly and I may give this place another try at some point in the future.

I cant compare to other places since this is actually my first lobster roll. But its definitely good. I got the Connecticut roll which is the warm one and pay $5 extra for more lobster. Satisfied my lobster crave. LOL. Also I think the roll or bun it is in is pretty good. Not too soft and not to hard. I would definitely come back for more.

In terms of taste and large chunks of lobster claw and meat, the Classic sandwich is 5 stars. The buttered toasted bread was just perfect. This was better than lobster rolls that I have had in New England, even award winning ones. I knocked a star off for the price - $15. It is actually less than other rolls I have had, but you only get the roll - no sides or chips. I was still a bit hungry, and the Ben and Jerrys a block over is the perfect thing to top off the Lobster roll.

I strolled past walking to my hotel, decided a lobster roll sounded good, and doubled back. It’s probably good I got it to go, because if I’d eaten it there, I’d have probably ended up ordering another. And I don’t need that. However, I AM going back for lunch tomorrow...I ordered the classic roll. Toasted roll, a bit of mayo, good sized hunks of lobster brushed in butter. Super simple, super delicious. Everything tasted fresh. Dang it. I really want another one...

It was ok. Not spectacular. the clam chowder was excellent and maine root soda was unique. The lobster roll, the masterpiece food item that the restaurant was built around, was disappointing. Im glad they offer paper straws. There is nothing here that makes me want to dine here again.

Nothing like “Lobster ME” lobster rolls in Las Vegas but I loved my 🦞 lobster rolls at this establishment. Service could be a little more attentive and enthusiastic. The guys went right back to their phones as soon as they completed my order

The staff was so pleasant and happy! The lobster rolls were toasted just right, with the perfect amount of lobster added. The lobster salad was a good size. I had the coleslaw, which was a nice size and perfect, too. I added the lobster bisque. They serve other items, as well, such as clam chowder, potato salad, Nathan hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, and grilled cheese sandwiches. No fries, as these are served the traditional Maine way. They have whoopie pies and lobster shaped sugar cookies for dessert, and Maine root, cola, and blueberry sodas, as well as lemonade. We went to the Reston location. We felt the prices were just right. If you enjoy lobster, this place is a treat!

Really good lobster rolls! Conveniently located in the Reston Town center across passion fish. I have been meaning to go since before they were open but being new to the east coast temperatures I did not want to go out of the house unless it was absolutely necessary. Since the weather has warmed up I was able to finally try it and the lobster rolls here and it did NOT disappoint. The amount of lobster was generous and it was delicious. I will need to stop buy again soon.

I love this place! Their lobster rolls come with huge juicy chunks of lobster on a soft warm roll, and the pickle on the side is a perfect vinegary compliment to the sweetness of the lobster. We tried their bisque and potato salad as well, and both were delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the town center looking for quick delicious food.

Tasted really good and I liked their menu. Only a few items but a good selection and great variety. Malcolm, the owner was present and very frindly and kind. They also have gluten free option for whom needs it. Try their soups as it goes very well with lobster roll itself. Enjoy...

Loved the experience at Masons Lobster Rolls. I was very excited to see it open and couldnt wait to try it. I was NOT disappointed at all. They were very kind and helpful in explaining the variety of lobster rolls on the menu and soups available. Very clean and a few tables to eat it. Perfectly buttered and toasted just right and a generous portion of lobster! The gluten free roll was surprisingly good as it did not fall apart of crumble at all. The New England clam chowder was delicious with good flavors and it is even gluten free. I will definitely return for more!
