Food and beer are excellent and service is wonderful! We love the atmosphere and the outdoor seating. A favorite date night spot, for sure! My favorite dish is the Glorious 40s Melt.

Absolute favorite restaurant around Bangor. Beer is great, staff is consistently friendly, and we’ve never had a bad meal. The only disappointment we’ve ever had is having a bit of a wait (They are never slow. But, we take that time to take advantage of the river walkor when something we love leaves the menu. However, it’s only because they are always adding more awesome dishes to the menu.Whenever someone new to or visiting the area asks where to go, this is my first recommendation.

Absolutely love this place. The food is yummy and they mix it up so it’s not always the same. Love the Mimosa brunch flights. The owners are such caring community members.

Amazing service and atmosphere. I absolutely loved the brussel sprouts! Love the pride inclusion and the vibe being in 2022! Highly recommend if you want a good eat with family!

Masons is the best eatery in town.... Yeah I said a brewery is the best eatery in town.One of the best breweries too, put these 2 together and youve got a stellar establishment.Throw in the fact that theyve got some of the best staff as well, and its a no brainer. Visit Masons

I was really happy with everything. The strawberry ice cream ale was smooth, and the burger was so so good. The waitress was sweet, and helpful. I can’t say enough good things. My experience here was great.

My family and I love this place. Incredible kids menu that is second to none. Pizza, Burgers, Fried Chicken Sandwich and so many fries, we have loved it all. Oh and the beer, that is always so fresh and so good. I’m thinking of going tomorrow for lunch…

Frequent date night spot for my boyfriend and I. Had to throw this at the top, as I love the inclusive mindset and appreciate the pride flag. Great selection of delicious brews (gotta try the rapture!Yummy cauliflower app, and endless selection of delicious entree food. 5 out of 5 would highly recommend.

Took a roadtrip from VA to Maine and this was our absolute favorite restaurant of the trip. The food was delicious. We got the Brussels sprouts, buffalo cauliflower, and built our own pizza, and all three were top notch. The beer was tasty, too. The location is one of the best aspects of the place, right on the river with a great view of Bangor—sit outside if you can when the weather is nice! The service was friendly and attentive. We had an all-caps GREAT time here. A slam-dunk 5 stars!

If you are a foodie check out Masons Brewing Company! I had the Mediterranean Madness sandwich. It was like a twist on a cucumber sandwich. Sooo good!Not a beer drinker? They got that covered. Only like plain Jane food or have a gluten intolerance? Covered! You can even substitute your beef patty with chicken breast or veggie burger!No one at my table was disappointed with their first experience here. Definitely going back to try the pizza.

Good food but the place was nearly full and service was all over the place. When we arrived tables needed to cleared so we put in our name with the hostess and stood to the side, then more people came in and were seated immediately until the host realized we were standing there because we wanted a seat. From the time we sat down until we got our food was over an hour which is a little excessive for sandwiches.

Ive lived here a year and a half and had never gone to Masons. Usually when everyone talks about HOW GOOD a place is, Ill find myself disappointed--so I tend to avoid most reviews. But this place definitely lived up to the hype. I dont eat beef; theres a sign on the door that says "Vegetarian friendly". I rolled my eyes and thought, yeah, right. Well, the veggie burger was AMAZING!! Good service, too. My father absolutely loved his meal as well and is willing to come from Blue Hill for another lunch. Good job, guys.

You can call ahead 30 minutes before arriving. They dont take reservations. This place was packed. We went up around this area Saturday for the Aerosmith concert. I came here a year ago & I always wished I could have that pizza again. We lucked out and got seated immediately. It is a bit loud in the main hall. They do have a specials menu. They also have gluten free options. Our waitress was accommodating and had a good sense of humor. "The Best Damn Pepperoni Pie" was damn good. The balance of flavors, the kick from the peperoni, the freshness from the oregano, and the softness of the ricotta made it a great pie. The dough is made locally, as well. A very nice wood fire pizza. The pulled pork sandwich, "Like Melted Gold" was also really good! I liked the slaw on top. Added more spice, and the texture from the slaw was good too. The sauce was a nice touch as well. The buns werent all drenched in sauce and they werent soggy - soft yet firm. My friends enjoyed their meals & drink. One had "The Sweetest Mess", she really liked it. The other had a gluten free crust pizza, and she was impressed by it. The other had a hot dog, and he really liked how the hot dog bun was grilled. They can give you just a regular hot dog, too, if you want. They give you mustard and ketchup when asked. The fries were good as well. Our waitress was very nice - and had a sense of humor. I noticed that the "Fear The Fungus" burger on the menu said "If our mushrooms make you hallucinate, please inform us immediately so we can overcharge you". I asked the waitress if shed still overcharge me if I hallucinated from any of the other food. She said no. :Great experience.

Put orange juice in a sour. It was gross but I didnt want to complain. Cauliflower app was yummy. Ordered their house veggie burger. It was weird, mushy and I couldnt tell what it was made of. Looked like raw meat (yes obviously it wasntand didnt taste like much. I picked it apart and just ate the bun. The bun was yummy. Yet again, a much hyped local brewery ended up not living up to the hype. Wont come back and cant recommend.

Wow! Cant say enough good stuff about Masons! Food? Delicious, interesting and generous. Beer is great! Some craft brewers are only skilled at a few types. Here, theres good IPA, lager, stout, ale and the rather difficult to get right pilsner. Plus the specialties to boot. Wait staff are great, view is great! Again cant say enough! We stopped by chance last year our way to Canada, now we make it a point to stop.

My dog and myself were welcome! I enjoyed a most gigantic plate of authentic fries ;hearty and juicy.My waiter was super sweet and efficient. I’m so in love with the fact that they don’t rip you off for gluten free options like sooo many establishments these days. Going back for more cider and pizza!A very well run machine Mason’s Brewery is!

Picked up beer from here, service was incredible! Leo helped us pick out 4 packs and my dad had so many questions, Leo handled every question with grace. Would highly recommend

We got there and only 5 people at the bar including us and several tables empty .We order a American burger and the golden 40 sandwich. Bartender was great and atmosphere was good .But after an hour of waiting we asked the bartender as we were at the bar about our meal .She said Sunday was there busiest time and the place was full by then ,but we order a hour before and it was not packed . Another 20 minute we got our food .Total 1 hr and 20 minutes. Food was good as burgers go . I dont blame the servers ,but the owners . They added outdoor sitting and another room ,probably doubling there capacity. But there kitchen can not handle the orders in a timely manner. An 1hr and 20min for a burger ?????? Got to do better .

Anyone who is expecting something to be 12 inches shouldnt be given six inches. The hot dogs was described on the menu as being "a foot long." It was probably 6 inches long, so we are wondering if a whoever wrote the menu was trying to make six inches sound bigger than it really is. The roll was dry, dry, dry...likely several days old and it was cut through completely so the dog fell entirely onto the plate. Disappointing food experience.

The pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal, but the beers were even better. I had two IPAs and I had to take home a few cans as well for later. Great spot. Highly recommended.

I come to Mason’s often and the food, drinks, and service are always incredible, which is why I frequently come. Definitely worth your time for local brews and they craft their own also! Try the crispy cauliflower or any burger - it’s all great!

Was somewhat disappointed in the food. Burger was good but pretty pricey. Farro salad was bland and forgettable. Good service and awesome outside seating right on the river. Decent choice if you live in the area, but not worth the one hour drive we took.

Ordered pizza from here all the toppings were in the center of the pizza and they didnt spread the sauce and cheese to the edge. The entire underside was covered in pepper. Should have known better from looking at other reviewers photos but had to learn the hard way. Also take in mind their large size is the small size of most popular pizza restaurants around here. And they ask 14 dollars for it.

We were looking for a light lunch and after walking the River Walk we stopped here. We ordered a Tavern Pizza and The Pork Belly Bao Buns. Both were very good but those buns were outstanding. Highly recommend.

There was about a 50 min wait on a Wednesday night but it was definitely worth it. They had delicious ciders on tap and the food was incredible. Would definitely recommend their Pork Belly Bao Buns and also trying their assortment of pickled veggies!

This is a great place for just grabbing a beer. I’m delighted by the quality and finish of all five that I tried. Likes the peachy one and life rapture IPA most. But … the kitchen is extremely slow. We ordered two burgers 40 mins ago and it hasn’t come yet. We’re starving.

The food is good, sure, but if you dont want to sit in a crowded restaurant then youre usually out of luck. They consistently arent taking takeout orders. I understand that theyre busy, but its a real drag when you actually want their food that your only choice is to risk a COVID exposure.

Server was great! They have many vegan-friendly options. A little disappointed with the veggie patty itself, but I appreciate them trying. Wished they added more of the toppings in the build-your-own pizza... and that the toppings were evenly spaced. Some slices were a bit barren. The buffalo cauliflower was the most delicious and would triple recommend to others.

A great mix of different styles of beer, all expertly crafted and enjoyable. While theyre not beneath putting out a high-quality tried-and-true Pilsner or pushing the boundaries and getting creative with a lovely strawberry ice cream stout. Having a variety in addition to the many different types of IPAs (a style which has become so overplayed and mundane these daysgives everyone options to find something they love.Food wise, their food is high quality. Their pizzas are downright good and perfectly enjoyable. Their menu has other great foods from bar staples to entrees.Overall, Masons is a great spot for lunch or an evening out.

The pizza is amazing as well as the buffalo fries. The outdoor seating is also covered so you are still cooled off in the heat. New favorite place to eat.

Food and drinks were fantastic. If you want a non-alcoholic drink, try the blueberry thyme lemonade - its delicious. Great vegetarian and vegan options. Food is perfectly cooked and seasoned. My only criticism is that eating indoors, the space is very loud, making it difficult to hear the person next to you. In nice weather the outdoor dining is a better option.

Easily the best meal Ive had in Bangor. Pizza was legit perfect. Staff was super friendly and fast. Prices were super reasonable especially considering how damn good everything was with high quality ingredients.It was such a nice treat as a pregnant lady to see so many non alcoholic beers and variety of sodas on the menu in addition to the extensive beer list.Also the band on Saturday night was fire!

The appetizers are amazing!!! Food is really good as well. It can be a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. 4/5!!!

Visited October 2021 - This place was friggin awesome as a visit on our vacation. I cant say enough praise about the customer service here. Easy to get a table outside too. My wife and I really enjoyed the general atmosphere, and the walking path along the river.The beers were really good as well. My favorite was the Black Widow. Did end up grabbing some of the food as well. The vegetarian options were solid. Not here is your sad salad either, but good fries and tofu.If we lived locally, this would easily be a place wed visit regularly.

I had their special spicy chicken sandwich, pork cracklins done dirty, and the blistered shishito peppers. All delicious! This is great pub grub. Excellent service as well. (The hop dipping sauce is a nice touch.)

Easy to find and comes with a great view while you eat. The food came quick and but was ate even faster. It was delicious! They have friend apples for a dessert and oooooooo gosh were they unreal.

One of the best experiences since the pandemic. An amazing staff thoughtful, sweet, accommodating, off the charts great food, the menu was very descriptive and helpful, with some humor, the drinks were great. When we are in the area again we will definitely be back. I cannot say enough about this restaurant.

This ones a tough one to review. The location is great. Service was great and the French fries were incredible. However, no one really liked their pizza. The truffle pizza was too sweet, the Morty was all ham. Way over board. The plain was uneventful. Their cider was excellent though. So I recommend eating appetizers outside. That’s lovely. Seating could be more comfortable though.

Our sandwiches & sides of fries & mushrooms were delicious. The appetizer of fried cauliflower was exceptional! My husbands mead had gone bad but we were not charged for it & were profusely apologized to. My raspberry margarita was good, but not the best Ive ever had. Service was okay as our waiter scarcely checked in on us.

First time going there!Its real nice on the inside, and is also next to the waterfront. The food is amazing. I tried the piggly wiggly, which was a big pulled pork sandwich dressed with all kinds of stuff on the inside. The only thing I didnt care for was how loud it was inside, but I cant complain too much about that afterall its a pub/brewery.

The new menu was amazing!! Im not a tofu person normally but that was perfect. Everything was and service with Emma.

So good! Super friendly and helpful staff. Decent cider and beer selection - they even had two of my favorite ciders on tap! The atmosphere is great, and the playlist they had going was awesome.We started off with a pub pretzel, which was massive but delicious. I got the Bad Boy burger with street corn - both great - and my boyfriend got the Once Upon a Time in the West pizza and he loved it. Will definitely be coming back the next time we visit this area!

It was my second time going to this place and I must say that it has a beautiful river view, its dog friendly, and has unique pub food with interesting flavor twists, vegan and gluten free choices!We went here last night (Wednesdayevening for dinner. I went with a larger party and we waited forever (over an hourfor our food. Our waiter seemed to be a social butterfly and wasnt attentive to our needs, skipping a drink order, and never checking in with us but chatting up all the tables around us.I dropped this place from a 5 star, which it may be for lunch, to a 3 star because it needs to work on its service. I did not see any "Help Wanted" signs so Im going to assume this place is slow on its own and not because of the present state of "No one has to work anymore because they are all living off the state."

The Bangor / Brewer area have limited dining so its great to see a microbrewery like Masons in the mix. There is both inside and outside dining and it is on the river which is pretty pleasant. Mason’s offers several different burgers and I had the one with the bone marrow. The burger was cooked just right and the combination of flavors delivered. You can also order a few different types of fries including cilantro bacon dust which were good, but I probably would have preferred the regular one. The beers were decent and on a nice day this place rocks.
