The mosque was first built by the Prophet himself who at that time had just completed his migration (hijrahfrom Mecca to Medina. This mosque was built in the area of a date palm garden with an area of about 1200 square meters at first. After finishing waking up, the Prophet led the open prayer with his companions (sahabah).Currently the mosque has always been a must-visit destination for pilgrims who come to the city of Medina. The mosque has been expanded to reach 5860 square meters and can accommodate about 20 thousand worshipers. in the area in front of the mosque there are people selling various goods and food, there are also pigeons that are free to play in the courtyard in front of the mosque.

walking from masjide nabbabi to quba mosque was a wonderful experience. road decorated with trees and shrubs. small shops wirh tea, coffee and juice ornaments many other things. the mosque itself is beautiful and it was the first mosque built by prophet (pbu). He used to visit this mosque feom masjide nabbabi on every Saturday morning and pray two rakah nafal salat. which benifit equivalent to performing a Umarah.

This is the first masjid constructed by Muslims and you can earn the reward of umrah if you person wazu from home and offer 2 rakat nafal in this mosque because when the Muslims migrated to Madina, they were sad for not being able to do umrah anymore that’s when prophet pbuh told Muslims about this good news of 2 nafal = umrah at masjid quba.

Madhallah a very good experience there. 2 rakat nafal will get you sawab of an umrah. Madhallah subhanallah we got lucky that there was no hussle when we have visited.

nice mosque. very beautiful. the sky was so clear on the day i came.there is cafe shop below the mosque. got few sellers selling dates and nuts outside. there aircond inside the mosque. usually people will come around 10+ and crowded.

Depending on whether the Mosque of the Companions in the Eritrean city of Massawa[1] is older or not, it may be the first mosque in the world that dates to the lifetime of the Islamic prophet Muhammad in the 7th century CE.[2][3][4] According to records, its first stones were positioned by Muhammad as soon as he arrived on his emigration from the city of Mecca to Medina,[5] and the mosque was completed by his companions. Muhammad spent 14 days in this mosque praying qaṣr (Arabic: قَـصْـر, a short prayerwhile waiting for Ali to arrive in Medina, after the latter stayed behind in Mecca to safeguard Muhammad’s life and safe escape by sleeping in Muhammad’s bed in his place, an event referred to in the Quran, sura al Baqara verse 207.[6] Also going along with traditional saying, this mosque is said to be where the first Friday prayer was held, led by Muhammad.[7]

Quba mosque have good facilities. the management of the Quba mosque always ensures the cleanliness of the mosque is maintained. The ablution place provided is also clean. The toilet is outside the mosque but nearby. There are many toilet rooms. The area inside the mosque is comfortable and there is space outside the mosque which is suitable for outdoor activities for visitors.

It was an awesome feelings for me to see 1st time of 1st moshjid of Islam. Moshjid is best place for Muslims to call Allah. This is 1st moshjid of Islam and Madinah. Alhamdulillah finally arrive here. The first mosque built by Prophet Muhammad SAW. It is very beautiful mosque. The mosque is very clean. There are many pigeons here and the view is very fantastic. Besides, there are many visitors come here to perform solat. There is Hadith said that Offering prayer in the Masjid of Quba is equal in reward to performing Umrah.

This is the 1st Masjid built by Prophet Muhammad PBUH in Madinah during the Hijrath. You can visit here and offer prayers. It has a huge vehicle parking area. It is situated in a beautiful surrounding. The structure and architecture of this mosque is just amazing.
