Good place for a local experience. Very friendly staff. They are working hard. Great garden for functions. Place is old but staff are trying their best making place clean. Beds are with soft mattress which is not my cup of tea but maybe other May like it. Unfortunately weak wifi did not help with lots of noise from next hotel throughout night. You can hear when people are passing as huts are build close by. Local food is good so as probably ok for workshop. With good space in the garden, there are lots of potential so good luck with the hotel!

Beautiful clean and comfortable , spacious rooms at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, they need a bit more training in the culinary area - catering to a variety of visitors tastes. They also take neither US$ nor credit cards!

The gardens are awesomely spacious. The rooms are very neat.

Being just in the vicinity of Masindi town, Masindi Kolping Hotel is at a very good location. Save for the 15metre stretch from the main road to the gate which gets a little muddy when it rains, it is very accessible. Security is not bad. Only small issue is the direction once you get into the gate. Its big so it requires very visible "Reception" sign. Reception room is quite small and when it’s a group of people it gets so congested. There is warm reception and attendants are well behaved.The environment is exclusive for frequent leisure and business travellers who would like to experience a higher standard of accommodation, personalized service and a host of special privileges and amenities. The cottages are good both from outside and inside. Very spacious beds. Arrangement in the room is okay. Best accommodation, lounge facilities, complimentary continental breakfast, newspapers and fresh fruit. The multi stoked Hotel Bar offers expansive indoor and outdoor service overlooking the spectacular hills across. The biggest problem is internet reception which is not so good in certain cottages.The prices are very affordable for its class and the meals are good. It is a place you would want to spend in while in Masindi. So much in demand so that if you get there late you find it fully booked especially if there is a function in town.

It is a fine place except for WI-FI being in selected places only.

The place is generally beautiful. The rooms in the newly constructed cottages are nice and well furnished except for a full body size mirror thats lacking in the room. The room no.123 that I stayed in had a leaky shower tray that left the whole room messed after a shower. Some sockets were dysfunctional. The breakfast has limited options for those who dont enjoy carbohydrates. There is less value for money at breakfast. But I generally recommend the guest house.
