Mashida - Asian restaurant in Luzern, Switzerland
Mashida in Luzern
Description
Privilege
Great food also vegan
I normally dont post bad reviews but this place was very disappointing. The restaurant itself was very cozy, but the food was a disappointment. Our Chicken Kastu Udon literally had 2 very thin slices of meat and the broth tasted like water mixed with soy sauce. The Ramen is just instant noodles you can purchase from the store. Save your money and go somewhere else. This restaurant needs to reconsider how they make their food. Its a disgrace to Japanese/Korean food.
MoreWe took some gyoza and some takoyaki. Both were mediocre:The gyoza was deep fried and tasteless. The takoyaki was supposed to have squid but they we mostly deep fried dough and some were missing the squid altogether.Quite disappointing!
MoreA disgrace to Japanese Ramen cuisine. Tourist trap and total rip off
Never go to this restaurant, I would rather buy instant noddles in supermarket. The taste is very boring.
MoreWe have enjoyed our meals and will definitely come back soon😍
Delicious, fast and relatively inexpensive. Friendly service, too :-)
The beef teriyaki is okay but the ramen and udon soup taste like instant noodle with very little veggies.
MoreHad dish number 8 and was very disappointed since it was generally rice with ketchup. The dish description was lack. I Asked to replace the dish or have another dish instead, but the workers there were not willing to do anything and act VERY VERY rudely
MoreA must visit if you are in Lucerne. Quality food at amazing prices. We had it once by chance and we could not stop talking about it. Needless to say, we came back for more. I highly recommend the ramen!
MoreThis place needs better rating. As an asian tourist craving for rice and ramen, this place is a heaven! Big portion + affordable.
MoreWe had the Chicken Katsu Curry and the Beef Teriyaki. It was freshly prepared and tasted deliciously. However, it was not awesome and the price was rather expensive for a "takeaway-style" restaurant. Therefore just 4*s.
MoreThis restaurant has the best food you could possibly eat. I recommend the chicken katsu, one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my entire life.
MoreOnly a couple of meals, but they are all very good.
Terrible location! Ordered veggies, received chicken. Soba noodle had salad with french dressing in the same container. Soup stock had a weird taste. Too expensive, wouldnt recommend.
MoreDefinitely worth a visit. I bought the Teriyaki and it was mhhhh, nice. Will go again, servings are big, too big for my stomache, but that wont stop me.Recommend, go there, give them money!
MoreBest Japanese Food in town❤️😍
Great food in general. We called for Japche with dumpling and the other was sweet chilli chicken rice , both of them were verh tasty. The price was reasonable for the meal. It is most likely as Mcs Donald service/ i mean here is self-service/ !Location: in Old Town near Kiko cosmetic shop and almost opposite La Fenice restaurant. Easy to look for!Recommended by me.
MoreThe food here is amazing!!! And the prices are also affordable :My favorite restaurant in Lucerne !!
MoreIt literally tasted like cra*! The so called „ramen“ had nothing to do with ramen but was 90% maggi / glutamat with boiling hot water - which was so boiling hot that I burnt my lips! I returned the dish - and got no excuse or offered anything else.
MoreGreat food, very good looking also. This is the first time in my life the actual food matched the promo pictures!
Morethis is cup-noodles, not ramen. Very very cheap quality. Poor food. If you want to eat japanese food don’t eat here.
MoreFood was done fast and tasted really good
A ramen with pepper and broccoli inside? That shouldnt be called RAMEN. I dont recommend
MoreI tried Beef Teriyaki and Gyoza both are yummy.
I ordered a ramen and it is just okay, not good but not bad either
Nice food. Friendly staffs. I like their chicken katsu rice.
it is a lot of rice.... not happy with it, the chicken is realy thin. expensive for what it is, the beer is not cold... come on you can do better
MoreGood Ramen, the Egg was a bit squishy tho.
Really good, could have a little bit more vegetables to look like the pictures
It works on Sundays. Taste of the ramen is the same as if you would buy in supermarket, but it has pretty low cost.
MoreWhy have pictures if you aren’t going to prepare food that looks the same, with the same ingredients. People will get sick. Lady was somewhat reasonable, but her husband was ignorant, grumpy old man with a bad attitude.
MoreIf you need just a meal, you can have it here. The ramen is just instant noodle with few cucumbers, capscium and brocholi. The sweet potatoes noodle worth try.
MoreWe actually went there just to sit and use their wifi. The place is comfy but the food is pricey and the ramen tasted like instant noodles. Dont order their noodle dishes if you like authentic one.
MoreEfficient, polite and very delicious! Everything one could expect from a place like that :D
MoreI had the Ramen. If it looks and tastes like 2 minute noodles, it probably is 2 minute noodles.Only this one costs 14.-Good Job on those returns you wont be getting them for long.
MoreWe loved it! The food was delicious, we went once and came back the next day! Cozy place and delicious food 💕 Greetings from México!
More10/20/19Skip the ramen. The veggie ramen (10.50was just cup noodle ramen served in a different bowl, garnished with some choppedvegetables.
MoreWhat you would expect of americanized Japanese food: ramen noodle, teriyaki chicken/ beef, etc. Pretty good serving size, especially for rice bowl
MoreAmazing!
Ramen is not Japanese ramen, it is Korean instant spicy noodle. Other the ramen, beef teriyaki is good.
MoreIt is a great escape from all the western food. They have little variety of dishes, but all of them taste great and worth the price.
MoreI really love coming here and so does my friend! The food is super nice made and very healthy and fresh. The location is not too far from the main station in Lucerne so its reachable by foot. The prices are okay if you come here once a month or so. The food is also the most delicious the rarer you eat it! Always a special highlight once a month!
MoreBetter priced among extremely pricy places here. Service was fast lady at counter is nice. Food is really so-so. Tried the chicken and beef teriyaki. Both meats were quite hard. Taste was acceptable but I would not say awesome (maybe I am comparing to real Japanese as I lived there and still travel to Asia a lot).
MoreLove love love. I live quite far from Luzern but every time I visit the city this is my place of choice to eat as soon a lunch time hits. The service I quite fast and the cashier lady is very nice. Ive tried a few menu choices and all of them tasted amazing. The food is great - if you order the spicy ramen dont expect anything less. It. Is. SPICY. Again, love this place, but unless you want your food to go, be early - before the crazy lunch hour - or expect to wait a little to have an available seat. 5/5
MoreReally yummy gyozas! Nicely priced. Also the only place I can find that sells japchae.
MoreI came here for the Asian food. I know Im in Switzerland, but Asian food is just so good.I over ordered by getting gyoza ramen and fried gyoza. There was a disappointment, seeing them use store bought, frozen gyoza. Because of that, I cannot rate over a three. As for the soup, I can almost guarantee its the 25 cent Nissin brand noodle. This was one of the worst bowls of ramen I have ever had. I think they sacrificed taste for speedy service since this is a take away spot. Shame.I dont recommend going here if you like real ramen dishes.
MoreThe food tastes nice and price is reasonable. Spend about 33 CF for beef teriyaki and tofu meal. Taste much nicer than wagamama :)
MoreOnce and never again!! Super small servings, no side dishes, and just simply inauthentic Korean food! Should change their name to un-mashida~
MoreAvoid! Dishonest and Unscrupulous. We order free tap water but finally this Korean owned Japanese restaurant charged us 3,50 CHF (The receipt stated "Tafelwasser mit Kohl" ). Ridiculous! As a tourist, we are feeling cheated.
