Masallas - Restaurant in Broken Hill, Australia
Masallas in Broken Hill
Description
Privilege
Since covid no longer dine in. We had takeaway and I tell you there are few restaurants that can challenge this place for great food. It is first class.
MoreFriendly staff, prompt service. The stuffed potato was very bland, the naan bread was chewy as if it had been reheated, the mango lassi was rather dull, the only saving grace was the code red lamb which was quite spicy and the meat well cooked.
MoreThis restaurant produces really good, authentic Indian food. You will not be disappointed with anything on the menu here !
MoreExcellent Goa prawns the curry was awesome.Loved the garlic Nann is always a delight
MoreHaving take away every day cuz they got best food in quality
I have order chicken curry, daal, chole bhature, steamed rice, mix veg. I love all dishes. Will visit again when i will be at Broken hill.Thank you!
MoreSuffering from food poisoning after having food from this place. Stay away for the sake of your health. You will get Poor customer service as complementary along with the food poisoning.
MoreHer attitude is as pathetic as the place. She should google what ”being presumptuous” means. She assumes all her customers would know what tandoor items are and talks slightingly. She’s arrogant, condescending and rude. Never recommend this place to anyone.
MoreI am so happy to see Indian Restaurant over here. I was so hungry and ordered steamed rice with Home Style Chicken Curry 🍛. It was so delicious. I loved it.Next day my wife ordered Chole Bhature, i am sorry to say but curry was so salty, can’t eat at all.Thank you for your service 🙏
MoreWorst customer service. Food was extra hot and spicy. Could only taste chilli and no masala in it. Customer service was rude by the owner. Grumpy I would say. Would never go back or recommend anyone. Unfortunately only Indian restaurant in broken hill. Meat quantity was less as well. Naans were cut in pieces. Worst ever. Put a smile on your face or be nice when serving a customer. We pay for the food. Been travelling all around nsw for work, this was the worst Indian food restaurant.
MoreOverall I was happy with the take away meal I had. Butter chicken was tasty and full of flavour. My husband had the hottest chicken curry they have to punish himself and it definitely punished him. Pakoras werent great, too salty and no yoghurt sauce to go with them. Garlic naan was good.
MoreWe order from Masallas almost every week. Sarika and her staff are always happy, friendly and busy! Rumali wraps are AMAZING. Best samosa Ive ever had.Excellent selection of authentic Indian dishes which are clearly made with passion and love. Delivery is usually very prompt, and you are always given notice if a longer than usual wait is expected. All in all, a top-notch, no nonsense takeaway that will have you coming back.
MoreNo dinning in here tables outside only and no toilets had to use public ones across the street.Waited over half an hour for meal to arrive it was delivered to the table by the friendly chef in takeaway containers. No plates we were given metal trays to eat it of. They forgot the popadoms the girl said sorry I forgot to put them through that was it.Food was fresh but a bit bland not authentic Indian food.Would not go back😕
MoreDined in al fresco. Great food. Best samosas! Chef was very friendly & waitress was helpful. Had a nice red wine with the meal & ended up with some takeaway.
MoreOrdered take out - chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Chicken was ok and naan was soft. Being only Indian restaurant in BH, I have nothing to complain.
MoreTried to find out Indian Food. Got one restaurant in Broken Hill Masallas. Ambient was very good and its was very clean. Staff was excellent but food wasnt up to the expectation. Ordered vegetarian curry but in that I got capsicum, onions served raw by mixing in the curry. Not cooked at all felt like am eating some salad.
