Indian restaurant offering buffet & à la carte dining in a straightforward strip-mall setting.
They should rename their Birayni to Pulav. Ordered veg birayni and it was completely tasteless, no spice, no birayni. They are making simple pulav with few veggies and selling it as Veg Birayni, complete waste of money. Picture attached for reference
Recently, ordered food from this place and found an insect in my curry. I will never order my food from this place again..
First time, so tasty. The chicken is juicy and delicious.Recommend it👍
It is a shame that the takeout experience does not compare with the dine in experience. We used to go often to the buffet but we stopped due to the pandemic. We decided to try take out and it was expensive, not reflected in the real amount in the dishes: lots of sauce, not enough solid content for the meat plates, and not fresh for the pannier. Besides, they offer 10% off if you pay cash in their website, so my husband took the time to go and take out money, but they did not honor the offer!! Really bad take out experience
Not worth the price and value of money. I visited this restaurant on Christmas day based on 4.1 ratings, but to my surprise, this restaurant was too small and cramped with space. There werent many options at the buffet and the waiter told me that the only buffet is available for now. The quality of food was below average and the price was too high for the options, quality and the amount of space they have. Overall it was a disappointing and disheartening experience. I would highly recommend Tandoori Flames for a much better experience and that too with lots of options in buffet, wonderful ambiance, great service at the same/slightly less price.
Absolutely delicious. Small but incredibly tasty selection of both meat and vegetarian dishes in their buffet. I am so full of food and happiness right now. Highly recommended!
Tried the lunch buffet option there. Overall food taste was 4/5 and the quality of food was not that great but okay - 3/5. Quick service for the bread and roti options. The place only offers a buffet dine in option. À la carte menu is only available for a take out option.
Gathered with friends over lunch. Appetisers and desserts are worth it. Mains have decent options in vegetarian, chicken and fish. Fresh Indian breads served on table as and when required.
Very authentic flavors and tastes that takes me back to my travels. Although the variety isnt that big compared to other Indian buffets around the city, they do really make up for it in taste and flavors. The service is very pleasant and always consistent every time Ive been there.Variations from weekday to weekend are cause for repeated visits just to try what each has to offer.Highly recommended and definitely worth the many visits
I went on a Friday afternoon after work. I enjoyed the buffet very much. Like most Indian restaurants, this one is vegetarian friendly. The seating area is rather small, and large parties can easily overpower your conversation if you are a quiet talker. This is not the place to have a private conversation but the food and service are well worth your time.
I thought i had tried all Indian buffets and nothing would beat them. This is by far the best Ive tried. The food is really tasty and have their own unique way of doing things. The variety is great and the quality of the food is amazing. The price is unbeatable. Also the decor music are great and even washrooms are kept very clean. The best however is their amazing hospitality and service.
We had a lunch buffet, and the food was fantastic. There was an awesome spread with lots of variety, there were 5 dessert varieties, which is rare to find. The ambience is good and service is also good. The best thing I liked are the butter naans, they were just awesome right out of the oven, soft and lots of butter, just the way it has to be. Keep it up. Recommended if u r in Mississauga. ...Priced very competitively. Surely will go again.Lastly Please like my review if it was helpful. Thank u!
A good Indian buffet place in the Mississauga area. They offer both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Its self service (except for Indian breads served on the table)The food is delicious and fresh. Sure to try their dessert options. Recommended for a quick bite.
Clean place, nice decor, great food. (Accessible public parking lot.)Hand-made looking metal cups were cool. Staff didnt refill water pitcher but we could have asked. Still 5 star for me. Price was 19 for Sunday buffet plus tax (decent price)
I do not eat Indian food that often although what a fantastic place to eat. The staff were helpful in helping me avoid spicy food and nothing better than awesome dishes with great hospitality.
A very charming place to grab a bite to eat. I went with a friend for the buffet and, while the selection was small, everything was very delicious and, at the low price, things really couldnt be beat! Our server was also very friendly and polite, and the overall dining experience was lovely. Would definitely come again! A word of advice for large groups though, calling in for a reservation is probably better, in order to be on the safe side of things, as the restaurant itself has limited seating.
The place is small but was fullWhen I went to get take out. Very clean friendly staff and great food. I got the jeffa rice, butter chicken, 2 Nan’s and an appetizer for $36! 10% when you pay cash. The food that they made for take out was fresh and not fromThe buffet counter (very clean too). Priced right clean and the ambience was nice too. They are Also closed on Tuesdays.
Went for the lunch buffet, which is about $14. Good assortment of food options including desert, given the restaurant’s size. Staff were friendly and warm. Cozy place.
If you are an Indian looking for food in Canada Mississauga then this can definitely be one of your favorite destinations. They have both ala carte and buffet. Went there for lunch with colleagues. A large spread of buffet with chats, dahivadas, n amazing deserts along with good main courses.
We go here often for the buffet and we like the food here. They have got enough varieties of food for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Price is reasonable and the staff are friendly. Place is small though, might get busy during the peak hours. I would suggest to reserve the place before going there.
Normally I like their food and this is not the first time I bought from them but for some reason one dish was way too oily I dont know why? We literally had to use stranger to take out the excessive oil. Here is the picture of achari paneer with all the oil on top
Food, service decoration everything is excellent..this is the best open buffet place so far ... we’ll be back again definitely
Nice ambience , nice food. Staff needs to be little polite
Delicious buffet with a good selection for a great price! Very good service, waiter never let us run out of water and naan. The naan here is excellent, very thin and crispy. Interior is also very clean and pleasant.
Typical indian not impressive at all. Tried their weekday buffet definitely last time. Only go there, as last option. Chicken roast was hard and dry, butter chicken was sweet, goat curry was lamb tasteless, lamb keema spicy not tasty and chicken karahi was ok. Chicken biryani was different but bearable. Desserts big no very few items in salad bar.
Masala Bites is incredible! I came here once about a year and half ago, and I’m happy to say not much has changed. Both visits have been met with complete satisfaction where I’ve left feeling genuinely happy. Let me start by saying, the food is phenomenal. If you’re looking for quality Indian Food, this is it. If my mother who doesn’t eat Indian Food, can enjoy Masala Bites menu asking for more, you will too. The customer service is great and continues to maintain and prove an exceeding quality standard. This restaurant is extremely clean with a warm but chic interior design. And last but not least, the food... It truly speaks for itself. Great quality and great ingredients. I hope Masala Bites expands the menu soon in the future.
I was invited by a friend to attend his wife birthday party in this restaurant. Its a very small tiny restaurant with a seating capacity of 30 to 40 people. The owner and staff were friendly. Clean washrooms. Variety of snacks, desserts, and main course options available here. My friend told me, The buffet per plate came at $16 only. But we had plenty of food so many varieties.Liquor is not available here in this restaurant. Closes so early at 10 pm. The very huge parking lot. Very close to the highway exit.I had mutton lamb curry, fish curry were good. Samosa is not is tasty but the desserts were luring. Kebab was nice.Totally Its a good restaurant.
Place is small but clean. Made reservations for two on a Sunday, the only have buffet on weekends. Buffet was small but some of the dishes were very tasty. The salad and desserts choices were very small. Mango lassi had a very nice flavour and wasn’t too sweet. Customer service was great, servers were very attentive and made sure we were always taken care off.
Cozy restaurant for a quick bite. Dinner buffet costs $16.00 though it is less expensive, items are limited. But overall satisfying experience. Service is good, and they are ready to help you.
The front is totally misleading. Nice interior. Nice staff. Nice food. Definitly worth a try.
Worth every penny. Too dog is bengali and he aims to please. Paani poori, dal makni, butter chicken, goat curry and everything in between. And its HALAL!
Very tasty authentic Indian food in Mississauga. Didnt get a table, so took it to go. Next time we will try to eat the the restaurant. Regardless, the food was fresh, delicious and authentic.Highly recommend! Pictures hardly give credit to this food (hard with Indian food!)
This is a great lunch buffet. Food is very fresh and flavorful. My go to spot to get my Indian food fix. Keep up the good work masala bites staff.
The food was amazing because we didn’t have to pay.🤣JkACTUALLY GREAT FOOODDEFINITELY GO FOR THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT A VARIETY OF INDIAN FOOD
Buffet selection was great! The place is super clean. Service was good too. Food is tasty and price is amazing! Id go back here because of the great-priced buffet and good service. :Also... Nice selection of dessert. Ice cream would be nice too but thats just an extra add-on! Not many places have Raas Malai in a buffet but this one does 👌
Food was delicious and service was good. We had a great time
Not the best Indian in terms of tastiness, but definitely one of the top in quantity of food. Having said that it was pretty good. Nice decor inside, not too many seats available.
Would definitely go again. I was a little irked that they didnt have me seated in a promptly manner, but apparently the sign is for show because noone else waited to be seated. The server was very friendly and nice and kept ensuring we were comfortable. The buffet was extremely good. Definitely recommend.
Flavourful food with many options from spicy to sweet in buffet. Great service and under $20. Hidden gem in a strip mall.
Had the buffet on sunday for lunch. Cost was $17 + tax. Staff was friendly and servers were attentive! Naan service was quick. Vegetarian items were good but the non-veg items were disappointing which was a huge let down for us(a lot of smell in the meat esp the keema and tandoori chicken). Dessert items were average, only liked the gajar halwa. The spice in the food is mild and excellent if you go with kids.
My friend and I tried their buffet we loved the flavors, they had good choices not too many but they tasted great. My fav was goat Curry and the Pani Puri was amazing! Clean, beautiful, affordable, friendly staff. Will be back.
Expensive food with good presentation. Owner/manager keep asking around customers about their need and satisfaction.
The quality and taste of the dishes for the buffet are amazing! Not watered down in any way! They even have 1 or 2 dishes that are made spicy! The steel cups and pleasant decor adds to the comfortable ambiance of the restaurant. The curries are very well done! I highly recommend this restaurant and would advise to make reservations a head of time as the wait could be 15-30minutes. Its a small restaurant but very flavourful! A gem!
Love the ambiance and food, especially the butter chicken with naan bread and their rice pudding dessert. Excellent customer service as well!
Great Food, Helpful Service ! Cozy Decor and I suggest you call ahead.True Russians eat the Chole Samosa Chaat !Entering you are greeted with a clean, pleasant smelling place with about a dozen tables. The buffet at the back offered a wide variety. Notably the tender Goat Curry, succulent butter chicken and the Chole Samosa Chaat that was a complex medley of tender, crunchy, sweet and spicy all impressed. This Indian food was not spiced as hot as I usually encounter which may be good or bad depending on you. The server was attentive and helpful, informing me that all their regular menu desserts were part of this weekend buffet. Due to the size and popularity of this restaurant I would suggest you call ahead and make reservations if necessary. Not all Russians eat curry but this one would eat this curry anytime !
Came from Montreal, was in waterloo, called my wife and asked her for best indian restaurants in Mississauga. Her choice #1 was Masala Bites. And she was right, excellent food, great service!!! Excellent restaurant!
Aha is the word that will come to your mind when you taste their delicious food, amazing hospitality and the price they charge for it! Conveniently located with ample of parking space, their is a great vibe to this place. The owners are very kind and friendly! I just loved what they had to offer for their weekend buffet, I would highly recommend it.
They take their last walkin at 9pm on Saturdays - walked in at 9:30pm, had to take out. Very clean 4/5, good ambience 4/5, friendly staff 4/5, food overall 4/5: chicken tikka good have been better 3/5, vegetable mix 4/5, vegetable biryani 4/5, paneer tika masala 3.5/5.
Solid eats and great place. Was worth logging in to give some good feedback. The quality of the ingredients were really high, the taste was perfect to my palate (Im not going down the path of authenticity....after a month in India realized that every place I travelled there tasted different), selection was good, the place was very clean and the family that owns it are not only good hosts but really nice too.You could tell they cared about what they put out. I rarely have found a buffet that can pull that off. Everything I tried was amazing.Anyways, thanks for the great dinner.
Only One word to Describe it. Just amazing. Ive been to quite a few Indian Restaurants around the world (outside of India). I have, for the most part left, feeling like something was missing. Masala Bites is the exception. A true Taste of Home experience. I highly recommend it. The Staff are pleasant and welcoming. The food, unlike a lot of other buffet places is not left sitting. I was there about 70m and saw the chef/staff put in fresh food and stir the dishes every 10 - 15 minutes. To anyone living/visiting the area, I highly recommend it. A Full 5 Stars.
