Absolutely delicious food.Excellent service.Everything was fresh and tasty.Staff were very welcoming and helpful in choosing what we eatPrices were good for quality.

To me this was the Worst afghan restaurant ever.I went there with my family today and got very disappointed.I dont like leaving bad reviews, but honestly the service is very very poor, we got sat down. had to wait 15 mins to be served, after getting served we waited o ver 30 mins for the food. upon arrival of the food, the food came it was cold and the portions are very small for the price and the rice wasn’t cooked properly there is a service charge but for a service that is not given.after all this we didn’t even eat the food we decided to pay and leave and I went to pay he said only cash. I said I don’t have cash can you take card payment he refused to take card payment then he made me bring cash I had to go to the cash machine to bring cash. then I told the guy you need put sign to say cash only. I would never recommend any one to go there especially families. Please avoid going to this place and there’s much better places out there.

Sabiha was very helpful I absolutely loved the food and she was very friendly and guided me very easily kept me satisfied will definitely be coming back thanks to her!Fantastic service.

Delivered the wrong food called the restaurant who then told me thats what I ordered when it clearly wasnt to top it all of the meatballs were raw would stay away this place has gone completely downhill.

I had the house especial Masa it was amazing....friendly staff and amazing chefs... I will definitely come back for sure. Keep up with the good work...

went with my partner about one week ago, good service (sabiha was very friendlyand amazing food. one thing to note was that the portions was ginormous and we ordered two portions of rice thinking it would be fine... turns out it could feed 6 people. ended up taking a lot home, but i didnt mind as it was delicious!

I used to come here extremely regularly, but had not been for over 2 years due to moving over 60 miles away. However i was visiting the area and had to go with my wife for old times sake.It was a coin flip between going here or to the Hare pub in old reading.Masa won the vote and Im glad it did! The food was just as good as it had always been, which is delicious.You can bring your own alcohol which saves a lot of money and the staff are very friendly.I really cant wait to go back again it was so good. Prices are reasonable as well.Would reccomend 100%!!!

If I could give it a zero I would. Worse food, tasted bland and it was definitely not fresh. The kebabs were terrible smelt very bad. The quality of food has definitely fallen. Waste of money. Feeling ill after going here very disappointing

June 2022, we were a family of 8 on vacation in London and we tried this restaurant. The food was delicious, the quantities are large and we could share the meal with each other. The Qabali Pulao is flavored rice with lamb was the best meal I have had in a while.Bushra was our server and was wonderful!

I ordered 4 manto and tow crayee the brought me leftovers from yesterday or few days ago it was very dark and hard I try tested hireable I call the manger I told him he give me face n he said nothing wrong with it I don’t recommend anyone to go there

Great food, worth driving 25 miles to get there! Lovely waitress. 😍 service could have been a lot better. It took her ages to clean the table . And we had to ask for teapot instead of flask! And we had a birthday cake but they did not bring plates and cutlery, we had to ask for it. We will go back if the service improves.

Good food, I always go there to have Kabuli Pulaow, very good size and lovely taste. Nice and clean seating area and toilets.

Shocking service, my family and I were standing around waiting for the staff to approach us, eventually we were given a table and menus were given around 5 minutes after sitting down15 minutes or so had gone by and the staff where nowhere to be seen, it wasnt busy only 3 other tables at the time so staff should have been aroundWe decided to get up and leave as we felt completely unwelcomeNever again!

We went with a group of friends. I had heard alot about this place and wanted to try since a long time. I wantes to try their grills and different kebabs. But, because we were in a group we just ordered the special afghani lamb and chicken curry (1kg each). Lamb curry nice, good taste and spices. But, cant say the same for chicken. It felt like boiled chicken pieces were dipped into a tomato puree (curry). But, I would not order either on my next visit. I would definetly visit them again though, as I do want to try out their chops and Chellow kebabs.

This is great Afghan restaurant serving up good Afghan food. We got delivery and got the boneless mixed kebab and bbq mixed kebab. Both were great and I would definitely recommend going here to eat if you’re in the area.

Delicious Kabuli pillow rice with a few side dishes delivered quickly with a mango lassi. Filled the spot! Would have been five stars if they took card payment.

Been going to this restaurant for past 14 years and always find the food to a highest standard. Parking an be bit of issue but you can find find Parking in the surroundings. Woukd recommend for the family. Make sure you book the table in advance.

Quite possibly the best restaurant in Harrow. Lightly seasoned, succulent chicken cooked on a grill. The best mince lamb kebabs Ive ever tasted, not to greasy or spicy and could clearly taste the flavour of the meat. Same ethos as the French restaurant on Harrow-on-the-Hill in terms of focus on the highest quality fresh ingredients but with more flavour and in a relaxed, chilled environment with high ceilings, furnished with carved hard wood tables and walls. Elegant but not ostentatious, relaxing and welcoming. Definitely coming back and bringing our friends with next time as well. Did I mention the large portions? The couples set menu is enough to feed four people and the Naan bread is amazing, freshly cooked to perfection.

The best bourani and mantu around. Try it yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

Authentic Afghan cuisine, in addition to some regional Pakistani dishes.We have visited many times since they opened, as a couple and also with family. Service can be hit or miss, however the quality of the food never fails to disappoint.

The food here was absolutely excellent..5* (tasty, good portions....)We were put on a table that respected social distancing,....they also have a separate adjoining function room which they use when there are no functions, so even more spaced out tables if thats your concern.What spoilt it for me for was a mistake on the bill (I know, it happens....but it shouldnt!)And the washroom really, really needs a refurb....(I know, we were here for the food, but for me, it did spoil the experience of dining in)

This used to be a really good restaurant. However, over the years the quality has gone down and my last experience at Massa was quite unhygienic. The plates and glasses had dirt in them. Their signature dishes do not taste the same. Its a real shame. I really used to like this place.

I was recommended this spot by one of my colleagues, and I wasnt disappointed. Generous portions of well spiced Afghani food will keep everyone satiated. I wholeheartedly recommend the vegetarian dumplings.

Great food if somewhat cafe style. The serving staff are about as subtle as a locomotive but I guess minimum wage dictates the quality. Foos served briskly. Its a no frills restaurant. All dishes perfectly edible. Experience was marred somewhat when 3 members of our party tried to pay by card and then were told its cash only! The staff clearly were overwhelmed and pointed said members in direction of a nearby cashpoint. All in all a cheap eating place. If its ambience you re after keep looking!

Authentic Afghan cuisine. Lovely spacious place. Loads of barbecue options in addition to the traditional afghan cuisine. Qabuli pilau is the very famous and signature dish, a must try and also an acquired taste. Mango lassi and fresh orange juice available amongst many other choices. All cards accepted and AMEX too. Very friendly staff too.

I recently ordered food from Masa for a very large gathering at my home. From the time we placed the order a few weeks before to the time the food was delivered, the service we received was impeccable. The owner Habib was gracious and humble and the food was ready on time, plentiful and so delicious. Nobody had a negative thing to say about it. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat excellent Afghan cuisine.

Had the best restaurant experience Ive ever had here. Service is amazing, the food is authentic, and you can tell effort and a lot of thought has been put into the menu and the taste of the food.Great portions, worth every penny. Wow what a great find! Was craving Afghani food and looks like we picked the right place. Ordered a range of dishes from Masa and each one was better than the before!!! The meat was so tender and juicy, rice was perfect, mix grill flavour was amazing and the daal was one of the best Ive had. Glad I found this spot. And thank you to Zek and the team for their generosity. Lovely lovely people and even better food!

If you are craving lamb chops and cubes, Masa is the place to go. I often go to Masa, some times with friends and sometimes with family. Food is amazing every time. My kids love their food as well. Zac the owner and his team is extremely welcoming and helpful and bring the most fresh food you can imagine. I have been going to this place since 2007 and never had any complain with either quality of food or customer services. Highly recommended!!

First time visiting this restaurant. Food was amazing and really friendly and helpful staff...they do take away as well... Will definitely be ordering or visiting again soon.

Words can not do this place justice. It is a national institute for Afghan gastronomy. Being Afghan myself means this place was under close scrutiny. Service to food, nothing missed a beat. Amazing meats, rice, curries, salads, even the dipping sauces. Friendly staff, excellent food, great value, comfortable surroundings for all types of social gatherings. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent food, excellent service. It is truly a culinary delight and secret of Harrow. Can’t recommend more. The homemade bread and hummus is the best and freshest I’ve had in recent years!

We have been visiting this well run Afghan restaurant for about 5 years and are always impressed with the friendly welcome. We went today at a quiet time today and had a freshly cooked meal of chicken skewers, salad and wonderful nan bread (fresh baked). The meat is cooked over charcoal and the nan bread is thin warm and tasty.

The restaurant is bad: no decor, no environment, service is slow and comes uncooked but the staff is helpful.We have ordered paneer tikka, lamb skewers and grilled chicken breast. The paneer came first cooked with vegetables and looked fried but we have been waiting for so long we had it without the Nan that took another eternity to come. The chicken eventually came and it was all raw. We complained and decided to leave when the manager came and was really apologetic and offered to bring us the same food cooked properly. He ended up offering us a mixed grill but guess what? The chicken was still uncooked. And we didnt eat it.So if you are ok with raw chicken or just eat lamb, fish or curries go for it.Im only giving 3 stars because of the apologies and effort put in to amend the situation but Im not going back there!!

We recommend Masa restaurant, they have a good catering service. We ordered afghan cuisine food, and they delivered it very quickly and still warm. Very tasty, good value for money.

Nice Afghan food, good sized portion.Reasonable prices dishes. We had chicken soup for starters and mixed grill for main.Casual dress code. Unfortunately the waiter service very very slow.

Absolutely excellent. Mix grill was juicy, not dry or nasty. Rice also excellent. Other dishes were also perfect.
