I was overwhelmed by its historic and romantic museums. Had I known before how fascinating they were, I would have asked for longer holidays and spent the whole summer learning about the French history.But my absolutely favourite was the Bastille Museum in Mademoiselle street, which is entirely dedicated to the French Revolution. As inquisitive as I am, I stepped into the museum in a scorching morning of a summer day and left it when the night was falling.

Mary History Museum is a history museum of Mary, Turkmenistan, located in the center of the city. The exposition of the museum reflects the history and culture of Mary from ancient times to the present day, is unique in size and content of the exhibits.The museum is located in the large two-story building of white marble and granite color. The museum consists of the central and lateral facade and ground floor. The building has six exhibition halls, conference hall, service rooms, storage, conservation laboratories.

The museum has a great collection but skip the museums supplied guide, the tour was very rushed. A pre recorded tour that you could turn on and off to suit your speed would be much better.

One of the best museums of Cereal Asia and Middle East. Archeological findings around Merv revealing one more civilization similar to Babilon or Egypt. Good ethnographical exhibition about Turkmen.
